OBVIOUSLY AIRBAGS WERE NOT AVAILABLE AS THEIR MARCH LETTER INDICATED. AS OF THIS DATE, OCT 13, 2016, AN AIRBAG STILL NOT AVAILABLE AND I AM FORCED TO DRIVE WITH A POSSIBLE DEADLY AIRBAG. I HAVE A 2013 ACURA RDX. I WAS NOTIFIED SOMETIME BETWEEN APRIL AND JUNE THAT MY VEHICLE WAS GOING TO RECALLED TO REPLACE ONE OR MORE AIR BAGS. I HAVE TRIED A NUMBER OF TIMES SINCE THEN TO REQUEST THE REPLACEMENT BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE. DEALER SIMPLY REPEATS THAT HE HAS NOT RECEIVED THE REQUIRED PARTS FROM HONDA/ACURA TO REPAIR THIS DEFECT, DESPITE ACURA'S OWN DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM AS BEING POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS, WITH POSSIBLE INJURY OR EVEN DEATH RESULTING. THE INITIAL NOTIFICATION NOTED THAT PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE SUMMER OF 2016, BUT AS WE NEAR THE END OF JULY, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM HONDA/ACURA, THOUGH LONG PAST THE 60 DAYS DESCRIBED AS A 'REASONABLE TIME PERIOD' FOR THE REPAIR.
