I was driving 25 mph toward north on foggy weather of stoplights [XXX] pm on location [XXX] & [XXX] Daly city, lost control because of malfunction of SRS module on air bag inflator, melon law which the impact force to explode airbag inflator passenger of 00.01 millenium I dont expect the unexpected scenario on the road . It was the worst ever happened on my life whick cause of trauma , Im thankful for nobody hurt on collision in the community of , almost hit car front on me the blue ford SUV,.. Its happen three times know dealership are responsible for false document for affixed recall , why they put me in danger at first place. MY CAR MODEL IS ONE OF MANY HONDA VEHICLES RECALLED IN 2019. THE CAR WARNS ME ABOUT THE AIRBAG AND SEATBELT MALFUNCTIONS EACH TIME I START THE VEHICLE. I REPORTED TO ACURA BUT NO ANSWER TO MY CONCERNS AND I'M VERY FRUSTRATED DRIVING MY CAR KNOWING THE AIRBAG MAY NOT PROTECT ME DURING ACCIDENTS.

ON DECEMBER 11 , 2017, I TURNED MY CAR ON START AND IT STARTED SHOWING ME THREE WARNING LIGHTS. I TURNED IT OFF AND TURNED IT ON AGAIN AND THE LIGHTS DISAPPEAR. I TURNED ON MY CAR THE NEXT DAY AND THE LIGHTS ARE STILL SHOWING. ITS ASKING TO FIX THE AIR BAG SYSTEM. MY CAR IS DETECTING OR HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE AIR BAG SYSTEM. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS PROBLEM.

I CALLED TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE AIRBAGS TO BE REPLACED AND THEY SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS AND WOULD ORDER THEM AND CALL ME BACK. THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE NEW AIRBAGS AND DID NOT CALL ME. I HAVE CALLED AGAIN AND WILL CALL AGAIN THIS WEEK.

THE AIR BAG SYSTEM APPEARS ON THE SCREAM OF THE CAR AND ITS BEAPING ALL THE TIME ANNOUNCING THE AIR BAG SISTEM ITS BAD

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 ACURA TSX. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE CONTACT REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUFFERED INJURIES TO THE MOUTH AND SUSTAINED MILD STOMACH PAIN. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. THE DRIVER OF THE OTHER VEHICLE COMPLAINED OF PAIN AND WAS ALSO TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A BODY SHOP. THE CONTACT DID NOT KNOW WHETHER THE VEHICLE COULD BE REPAIRED OR WOULD BE DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 88,000.

MY COMPLAINT TO YOUR AGENCY IS THAT I HAVE NOT HAD FULL USE OF MY CAR FOR OVER 2 MONTHS NOW, AND THERE IS NO EXPECTED DATE IN SIGHT. TAKATA RECALL - I RECIEVED NOTIFICATION ON JULY 17TH, 2016 ABOUT A RECALL FOR MY 2010 ACURA TSX. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE DEALER FOR AN APPOINTMENT, I WAS PUT ON A WAITING LIST FOR PARTS AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 90-120 DAYS FOR PARTS. I THEN REQUESTED A DIFFERENT VEHICLE TO DRIVE WHICH WAS DENIED. I CARPOOL IN MY CAR EVERY DAY, YET THE ACURA RECALL NOTICE INSTRUCTS ME NOT TO USE THE PASSENGER SEAT. THIS IS NOT PRACTICAL AND PARTS SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE SOONER OR A DIFFERENT CAR PROVIDED.

ON THE AFTERNOON OF JUNE 19TH I ARRIVED AT MY DESTINATION, PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND WAS SITTING IN MY CAR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING WHEN THE DASH INDICATOR READ "CHECK AIRBAG SYSTEM". I CONTINUED TO GATHER MY THINGS, WHEN SUDDENLY THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED, HITTING MY LEFT ARM AND MOMENTARILY DEAFENING MY HEARING. THE CAR HAD NOT BEEN IMPACTED OR JARRED IN ANY WAY THAT MAY HAVE CAUSED THE AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY. THE NEXT MORNING I DROVE THE CAR TO ACURA AND THEY INITIALLY SAID THEY WOULD REPAIR IT. A WEEK OR SO LATER THEY CLAIMED THE COMPUTER INDICATED THE CAR HAD BEEN IN A COLLISION YET THERE WAS NO VISIBLE DAMAGE. CLEARLY THE VEHICLE HAD A DEFECTIVE SENSOR YET THEY REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. THEY WANTED ME TO FILE A CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR REPAIRS. I WAS ASKED TO RETURN THE LOANER THEY HAD ISSUED ME AND TAKE POSSESSION OF MY CAR. THEY WERE WILLING TO SEND ME OFF IN AN UNSAFE CAR WITH THE DEPLOYED AIRBAGS HANGING! I RELUCTANTLY OPENED A CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY WHICH WAS SUBSEQUENTLY DENIED BECAUSE THERE WAS NO COLLISION. MY INSURANCE COMPANY SUGGESTED I SUE AMERICAN HONDA. A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER AMERICAN HONDA MADE A "GOODWILL GESTURE" BY AGREEING TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE. THEY STILL REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE VEHICLE MAY HAVE HAD A DEFECTIVE SENSOR. OVER A MONTH LATER I WILL FINALLY BE GETTING MY CAR BACK YET I'M A BIT NERVOUS AT THE THOUGHT THAT IT MAY HAPPEN AGAIN AND POSSIBLY WHILE I'M DRIVING.
