WELL FIRST IT WAS THE TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL, BUT THE ONE I'M COMPLAINING ABOUT IS THE RECALL FOR THE FUEL PUMP AND ALSO THE FUEL PUMP WIRING WHICH WAS ALSO REMOVED FROM OUR VEHICLE, AND WE'RE LIKE TWO ABOUT HOW IT WAS PART OF THE RECALL FOR THE FUEL PUMP . ANYWAY I'VE ALREADY PUT A COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS AND HOW IT HAS MALFUNCTIONED OTHER IMPORTANT COMPONENTS OF OUR VEHICLE INCLUDING THE FUEL PUMP FLANGE WHICH WAS ALSO REPLACED COILS SPARK PLUGS SENSORS ETC. WHAT I'M COMPLAINING ABOUT NOW IS I'VE CONTACTED AUDI USA AND THEY HAVE STRING US ALONG FOR ALMOST A YEAR GOING BACK-AND-FORTH TO DIFFERENT AUDI DEALERSHIPS AND GETTING DIFFERENT RESPONSES OR DIFFERENT DIAGNOSIS OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CAR. RECENTLY WE HAD OUR AUDI Q5 2011 FULLY DIAGNOSED AND NOW WE COME TO A WHOLE NEW DILEMMA AND MALFUNCTION OF OUR VEHICLE. WE KNEW THE FUEL INJECTORS WERE GOING BAD BECAUSE OF THE WIRING WHICH WAS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED FOR THE FUEL PUMP WHICH CAUSED THE ALTERNATOR ALSO TO GO BAD AND THE SENSORS AND NOT TO FORGET ABOUT THE SPARK PLUGS AND COILS. WE THOUGHT WE FINALLY WERE GOING TO GET OUR CAR FIXED AT NO CHARGE TO US EVEN THOUGH WE I KNEW THAT OUR WARRANTEE WAS OUTDATED, BUT WE THOUGHT MAYBE SINCE THE RECALL HAD A LOT TO DO WITH IT AUDI WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. WELL ALMOST A YEAR AND GUESS WHAT AUDI DECLINED THE WORK OF REPLACING THE FUEL INJECTORS. WHEN I ASKED THEM WHY THEY CONTINUE TO GIVE ME THE SAME RESPONSE WHICH I ALREADY KNOW, THAT MY VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY, TELL ME SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW, WE WERE ONLY ASKING FOR THE RIGHT THING TO BE DONE AND WHAT SEEMS FAIR. THE DEALERSHIP BLAMES THE MANUFACTURER AND THE MANUFACTURER BLAMES THE DEALERSHIP. IN THE MEANTIME I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THE PART WILL BECOME AVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE WORK.

MY VEHICLE WENT TO THE AUDI FIFE DEALERSHIP. ADVISED I NEEDED A NEW ENGINE. I TRIED TO TRADE IN THE VEHICLE AND I WAS ADVISED THAT MY CAR HAD -0-TRADE IN VALUE. THEY WOULDN'T ACCEPT ON A TRADE-IN. THEY SAID IT WAS WORTHLESS. I TOWED THE VEHICLE HOME AND I NOTICED ON MY PAPERWORK THAT THE DEALERSHIP COMPLETED "3" RECALLS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR KNOWLEDGE. I ASKED SERVICE WHY THEY COMPLETED THESE RECALLS ON A WORTHLESS VEHICLE THAT I HAD TO TOW HOME. A VEHICLE THE DEALERSHIP DIDN'T WANT. I FOUND OUT THAT THIS DEALERSHIP IS COLLECTING OVER $14,000 FOR RECALLS THAT I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE ON A VEHICLE THAT THEY SAID WAS WORTHLESS. I CAN'T EVEN VERIFY IF THE DEALERSHIP ACTUALLY DID THE RECALLS. THIS IS AN UNETHICAL PRACTICE FOR THIS DEALERSHIP TO TELL ME MY VEHICLE IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT AN ENGINE; WON'T ACCEPT ON A TRADE; TOWED MY VEHICLE HOME BUT THEY COLLECT $14,000.
TOOK SUV IN FOR RECALL X3 (2) SEPARATE DEALERS, WAS TOLD THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PART IN YET TO REPLACE IT. I WAS IN A HEAD ON COLLISION THIS PAST JANUARY 2017 THE AIR BAG DIDNT DEPLOIT.

IN JANUARY 2017 I WAS IN A HEAD ON COLLISION AND THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY! I WAS TOLD BY THE LAST DEALER DURING 2 OTHER RECALLS THAT NJ WILL HAVE SUPPLIES COME THIS FALL! I WOULD LIKE THIS RECALL COMPLETED ASAP AS ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR! PLUS HAVING BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT HEAD ON ITS NOT TO REASSURING KNOWING THE AIRBAG WILL NOT DEPLOY!

I HAVE BEEN CALLING AUDI DEALERSHIPS SINCE OCTOBER 2016 TO GET THE SERVICE COMPLETE BUT WAS INITIALLY TOLD IT WOULD BE AVAILABLE BY END OF 2016. IT IS NOW MID-MARCH 2017 AND HAVING JUST SPOKEN TO AUDI, THEY ARE SAYING THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE YET. THEY HAVE SAID THIS SAFETY ISSUE IS MORE APPLICABLE TO HOT-HUMID STATES AND CALIFORNIA IS NOT ONE OF THEM. WE WERE TRANSFERRED FROM CHICAGO TO GERMANY AT THE END OF 2014 AND AS THE AUDI RECALL FOR THE AIRBAG AND FUEL FLANGE WERE NOW AVAILABLE WE SCHEDULED THE VEHICLE FOR SERVICE ON 11/12 JAN 2017. THE DEALER HAD THE RECALLS IN THE SYSTEM AND PRINTED THEM OUT AS A SERVICE ORDER FOR REPAIR. ON 12TH JANUARY THE DEALER CALLED AND SAID AUDI AG WOULD NOT AUTHORIZE THE REPAIRS. I CALLED AGAIN TODAY 13 FEB 2017 AND THE DEALERS SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE DANIEL CARR SAID THEY WOULD NOT AUTHORIZE AND THAT THE DEALER HAS NO WAY OF ORDERING THE PARTS WITHOUT AUDI AG AND THAT I SHOULD CONTACT AN AMERICAN DEALERSHIP IN THE US.

TAKATA RECALL - HAVE NOT RECEIVED INDICATION THAT DRIVER AIRBAG IS AVAILABLE FOR INSTALLATION. THIS CAR IS ALMOST 6 YEARS OLD AND WE LIVE IN A HOT HUMID CLIMATE. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THESE FACTORS INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD OF AN AIRBAG PROBLEM.

IT IS NOW NOVEMBER 2016 AND WHEN CHECKING ON THIS AGAIN I AM TOLD THE PARTS STILL AREN'T AVAILABLE. I FIND THIS UNACCEPTABLE AND I WONDER WHY THE NHTSA DOESN'T FIND IT UNACCEPTABLE AS WELL. I CALLED AUDI CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD THEY HAVE "NO IDEA WHEN THEY ARE GETTING REPLACEMENT PARTS FROM TAKATA." HOWEVER, AUDI IS OBVIOUSLY STILL MAKING THESE CARS AND SINCE THEY CAN FIND NEW AIRBAGS TO PUT IN NEW CARS, WHY ISN'T ANYONE PRESSURING THE MANUFACTURER TO FIX THE CARS THEY SOLD IN THE PAST BEFORE THEY USE THOSE PARTS ON NEW CARS!!! IT SEEMS THAT THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THIS SINCE TAKATA WILL BE LIABLE IF I DIE IN AN ACCIDENT. HOWEVER, I HOLD AUDI AND THE NHTSA RESPONSIBLE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T APPEAR THAT ANYONE CARES ABOUT PEOPLE THAT BOUGHT CARS A FEW YEARS AGO SINCE THE EXISTING SUPPLY OF GOOD AIRBAGS IS GOING INTO NEW CARS THAT HAVEN'T BEEN SOLD YET. WE DID NOT MAKE IT. CAR HAD TO BE TOWED. AFTER 2 WEEKS, I WAS ADVISED I NEEDED A NEW ENGINE AT THE COST OF $14,700. THIS IS AFTER IT HAD BEEN FIXED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE FOR THE SAME ISSUE. SECONDLY, IT HAS A RECALL THAT HAS BEEN PUBLISHED AND AUDI'S RESPONSE TO ME WAS THE RECALL REPAIR IS NOT AVAILABLE YET. THEY ARE HOWEVER ARE WORKING WITH TAKATA TO PRODUCE REPLACEMENT PARTS. SO, AGAIN THEY ARE JEOPARDIZING MINE AND MY FAMILIES SAFETY. AND THE OIL CONSUMPTION IS RIDICULOUS. NO VEHICLE SHOULD USE A QUART OF OIL EVERY 1000 MILES. THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE COMPANY AND THEIR RESPONSES ARE ALL SCRIPTED.
