TAIL LIGHTS SHOWED UP AS A MALFUNCTION ON THE CONSOLE, I THOUGHT IT WAS A BAD BULB SO I REPLACED IT BUT WHILE DOING SO I NOTICED THAT THE HARNESS AND PIN FROM THE BULB HOLDER WAS MELT. THE WEIRD PART ABOUT THIS IS THAT ONLY 1 PIN WAS BURNT, AFTER DOING RESEARCH AND I FOUND OUT THAT THIS WAS A COMMON ISSUE WITH OTHER BMW. I SPOKE WITH MANY OTHER OWNERS ON FORUMS AND THEY EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE, THIS ISN'T JUST ISOLATED TO THE 2014 BMW 320XI BUT OTHER BMW VEHICLES SEEM TO HAVE THE SAME FLAWS. OTHER ALSO REPORTED THAT EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE HOUSING AND HARNESS BUT THE ISSUE OCCURRED AGAIN. THIS CAN BE CONSIDER AS A FIRE HAZARD, SOMETHING IS CLEARLY CAUSE THIS TO MELT AND SHORT OUT THE BMW TAIL LIGHTS. MY CONCERN THAT IT WAS SPARK AND CAUSE REAL DAMAGE.
