MY 2007 BMW LI JUST STARTED THROWING ITSELF INTO PARK WHILE DRIVING CAUSING A MAJOR ABRUPT STOP JERKING THE CAR TO A STOP. THE TRANSMISSION FAULT ERROR CAME ON AND I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND WAITED A MINUTE AND TURNED IT BACK ON AND WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE. IT DID THIS ONE MORE TIME BEFORE REACHING HOME. THEN THE FOLLOWING DAY ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE IT AS SOON AS I PUT IT IN REVERSE IT JUMPED BACK INTO PARK. I HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER AS I HAD READ THAT THERE WAS A RECALL FOR BMW'S WITH THE SAME SYMPTOMS. I HAVE SINCE READ NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS OF OTHER BMW SAME YEAR AND MODEL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. THE DEALER JUST SAID IT WASN'T COVERED UNDER A RECALL AND THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND THE CARS AGE ISN'T WORTH THE VALUE OF REPLACING THE TRANSMISSION SO I HAVE THE CAR PARKED IN MY GARAGE AND CANNOT DRIVE IT. BMW NEEDS TO STEP UP AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. THERE ARE PLENTY OF THE SAME MAKE, MODEL, AND YEAR HAVING THE SAME ISSUE.

THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD STIFFEN EVEN IF PUSHED ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR. I PURSHASED THE CAR WITH 13000 MILES AND NOW THE CAR HAS ONLY 73000 MILES I CHANGE MY ROTORS ON TIME BRAKE PADS ON TIME ONCE THE CAR IS GOING STRAIGHT THE BRAKE WORKS PLEASE ,I DON' T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
