AS WELL AS 3 OTHER FAULTS RELATING TO THESE. ONE OF THESE SENSORS IS IN THE ACTIVE TANK AND COULD BE ASSOCIATED WITH AN MALFUNTION OF EMISSION SYSTEM AND EMISSION VIOLATIONS WHICH COULD RENDER THE MOTOR TO BE DISABLED. BMW CLAIMS THAT NO RECALL ON THE ISSUE HAS BEEN RECORDED. I RESEARCHED THE ISSUE TO FIND THAT BMW HAS ANNOUNCED A RECALL ON THE SCR SYSTEM AFFECTING THE DEF MIXER AND THE EGR SYSTEM. ALL OF THESE ISSUES WILL RESULT IN EMISSIONS FAILURE AND SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL HARM.

THIS PART HAS TO DO WITH EMISSIONS STANDARDS AND DUE TO THE PART BEING UNAVAILABLE I'M FORCED TO DRIVE WITH A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT UNTIL THE SHOP IS ABLE TO GET THE PART.
