I am filing this safety complaint regarding a sudden and dangerous engine failure in a 2010 Buick Enclave CXL purchased from Frankfort Car Outlet on 8/25/2025. On 10/25/2025, while driving on the expressway, the engine suddenly began knocking, lost power, and stalled. This created a serious safety risk to myself and other drivers. The failure occurred only 60 days after purchase and approximately 2,000 miles later, suggesting a pre-existing internal defect that the dealership did not disclose. The dealership has refused to inspect the vehicle, acknowledge the safety risk, or assist in any way. This type of sudden engine failure could pose a serious hazard if similar vehicles have the same issue, and I believe NHTSA should be aware of the potential risk.

The engine and fuel pump system failed while driving the vehicle. It is available upon request to inspect. I just towed it to the shop today on 10/22/25 to get a full inspection. My sister and I were put at risk while driving towards a hill in San Francisco. It was on a busy main road when suddenly the vehicle began to jerk and thud back and forth. While I pushed the gas pedal, I began to question why the vehicle was suddenly reacting this way. In efforts to pull over to the side, a huge smoke fog began to come out of the exhaust pipe. As I tried to reach the curb the car didn’t want to move any further as I pushed on the gas. I put it in park and called the tow truck (receipts below) while there were cars passing me by almost causing an accident. I have looked online to see if there was a problem or recall with this vehicle having the same issue I was having. Come to find out there was a recall issued for certain vehicles only, with the same issue as my vehicle. The vehicle was taken into a local auto shop, where they diagnosed it and inspected it. The reports show it has the same exact issues with the car as those that were recalled. No there were not any warning signs nor failure signals. Due to this reason, I was completely caught off guard.

The engine was built with the same components as the 2008/2009 models and they have been recalled, the oil drains out of the engine rapidly and causes engine to seize and had to be replaced.

Car was running just fine had its oil changed new tires added and it just stopped running. Got it checked with a car technician and he stated it’s the engine.

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, THE LOCKS ON THE DOORS WILL SUDDENLY LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK AND UNLOCK. AFTER THAT THE ENGINE SLOWS WAY DOWN LOSING POWER, THEN IT WILL BE OKAY TO GIVE IT MORE GAS AND IT SPEEDS UP. THE LAST COUPLE OF TIMES THIS HAPPENED, THE CAR LOST ALL POWER AND STAHLED.

The contact owns a 2010 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that after entering the vehicle, there was a knocking noise coming from the vehicle prior to starting the engine. After starting the vehicle, the noise became louder. While operating the vehicle, the check engine warning light remained illuminated and a humming noise was present. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who indicated that the transmission gear was faulty. The vehicle was serviced however, the failure persisted. No further information was available. In addition, after refueling the vehicle would not immediately startup. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 120,000.

I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE WHEN IT SUDDENLY STALLED AND WOULD NOT START, I HAD IT TOWED TO A MECHANIC AND WAS ADVISED IT NEEDED AN ENGINE, THIS WAS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE 2008, 2009, 2010 BUICK ENCLAVES, BECAUSE OF THE OIL PUMP DRAINING THE ENGINE OF OIL IT SEIZED THE ENGINE. I CALLED GM AND ASKED WHY THEY HAVEN'T RECALLED THE 2010 ALONG WITH 2008, AND 2009 MODELS WITH THE SAME ENGINE AND ISSUE. THEY SAID ITS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED BUT THERE IS NO FUTURE DATE IF OR WHEN THE 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE WOULD BE RECALLED FOR THE ENGINE- OIL FAILURE! THIS COST OVER $4800 DOLLARS TO GET FIXED, I JUST PURCHASED THE CAR FROM A DEALERSHIP LESS THAN A YEAR PRIOR, VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH DEALER FOR NOT MAKING ME AWARE TO CHECK OIL EVERY FEW DAYS SO THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN. I ALSO JUST HAD THE OIL CHANGE DONE A MONTH BEFORE THE ENGINE SEIZED!

THE 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE HAS BEEN WELL KEPT. I HAD JUST PURCHASED IT AND ONLY DROVE IT FOR 2 MONTHS. I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT 70MILES PER HOUR THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR LOST POWER DOWN TO 40MILES I HAD TO PULL OFF THE FREEWAY. ALMOST HIT. THE HOLE SYSTEM SHUT DOWN IT WOULDN'T START AT ALL HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER THEY SAID THE TIMING CHAIN JUMMPED AND LOCKED UP YOUR MOTOR IT WILL BE 10 THOUSAND TO FIX I DONT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY SO NOW I M PAYING A LOAN ON A CAR THAT DOES NOT WORK.

2010 BUICK ENCLAVE WITH 116,164 MILES, JUST OVER 10,00 PER YEAR, ENGINE DEVELOPED A SPUN ROD BEARING AND QUIT WHILE DRIVING. STEERING LOST POWER AND ENGINE STOPPED. I HAD TO PUSH IT BACKWARDS TO GET OUT OF AN INTERSECTION. I HAD JUST STARTED A RIGHT TURN. 22 MONTH EARLIER THE TIMING CHAIN STRETCHED ON THE VEHICLE COSTING $2000 IN REPAIRS. OIL WAS CHANGED EVERY 5000 OR LESS MILES AND USED MOBILE 1 SYNTHETIC OIL THE ENTIRE TIME. THIS AND OWNERS OF EARLIER MODEL YEARS REPORT THIS SAME PROBLEM FROM THIS VEHICLE. A WELL MAINTAINED VEHICLE SHOULD NOT HAVE THESE TWO PROBLEMS WHICH POINTS TO SOME FAILURE IN DESIGN OR MANUFACTURE. VEHICLE IS NOW JUNK.

TOWED TO LOCAL REPAIR SHOP AND FOUND THE ENGINE HAD BLOWN, GEARS BLEW APART, TIMING CHAIN SHOT. FULL ENGINE REPLACEMENT COSTING ALMOST $7,000. MILEAGE WAS 178,222. ADDITIONAL ISSUES TO INCLUDE REAR SUSPENSION PARTS, BRAKES, ROTORS, WHEEL BEARINGS (TWICE) DUE TO DEFECTIVE PARTS. REAR LATERAL LINKS BOTH UPPER AND LOWER (TWICE DUE TO DEFECTIVE PARTS). I AM WRITING BECAUSE WE PURCHASED A 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE IN 2018. IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASING I NOTICED ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE AND IT HAD TO BE SERVICED TWICE WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS OF HAVING IT. AT THE TIME THE SERVICE DEPT. COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE AND BLAMED IT ON MY ACCIDENTALLY TOUCHING THE MANUAL SHIFT ON THE SHAFT. I KNEW I WAS NOT DOING THIS. I HAVE VIDEO OF THE CAR DOING THIS WEIRD ACCELERATION AND ALL DURING THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS BUT [XXX] KEPT SAYING THE VEHICLE WAS FINE. WELL, I WAS STRANDED BECAUSE IT JUST STOPPED A FEW DAYS AGO AND HAD TO TAKE A 50.00 UBER HOME. I HAVE HAD TO UBER 3 TIMES NOW AND PURCHASED A CODE READER. THE CODE COMES BACK AS A TIMING CHAIN STRETCHED. IT SEEMS WHAT I WAS FEELING FROM THE VERY BEGINNING WAS IN FACT THIS ISSUE. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS. WELL WHAT HAPPENED WAS THE VEHICLE DEAD STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. THIS MAY NOT SEEM UNUSUAL, BUT THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE HAS BEEN REPORTED FOR THE SAME ISSUE, P0008 WHICH IS A STRETCHED TIMING CHAIN ISSUE. THIS ISSUE SEEMS TO BE COMMON WITH THE 3.6L VVT ENGINE THAT IS SHARED ACROSS ALL MODELS. MY WIFE AND CHILD WERE IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME AND WERE ABOUT TO BE HIT BY ON COMING TRAFFIC. LUCKILY, THE VEHICLE COMING TOWARD THEM WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. THE VEHICLE BLOCKED TRAFFIC FOR SEVERAL HOURS. THE DESCRIBED PROBLEM IS A STRETCHED TIMING CHAIN, BUT MY RESEARCH HAS ELUDED THAT GM HAS HAD THIS SAME ISSUE WITH MULTIPLE MODELS OVER MULTITUDES OF MODEL YEAR VEHICLES. THIS ISSUE OFTEN LEADS TO A HEFTY REPAIR BILL UPWARDS OF $3500 OR EVEN MORE. IN MY OPINION WITH MULTIPLE REPORTS OF THIS VEHICLE OR MODELS THAT SHARE THE SAME ENGINE, THE PROBLEM CAN LEAD TO POSSIBLE SAFETY CONCERNS FOR A DEAD STOP WHILE DRIVING. A VEHICLE COULD POSSIBLY BE ON ICY, WET, ROAD CONDITIONS AND COULD CAUSE A GREAT DEAL OF MORE INJURIES. I BELIEVE THAT THIS ISSUE SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO FOR MODEL YEARS FROM 2008 - 2020. THE ENGINE HAS NOT CHANGED. THIS ENGINE IS NOT ONLY SHARED WITH THE BUICK ENCLAVE, BUT THE CHEVY TRAVERSE, GMC ACADIA, BUICK LACROSSE, AND THE LIST GOES ON. DUE TO THE TIMING CHAIN FAILURE, MY FAMILY COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY HURT OR WORSE. PLEASE LOOK INTO THE DESIGN ISSUE. I'M GLAD THAT MY FAMILY IS OK. THE AIR CONDITIONER HOSE WAS MELTED WHERE IT TOUCHES ANOTHER HOSE, THERE WAS AN ACADIA AND A TRAVERSE THAT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. WHEN I CALLED BUICK TO SEE IF THERE WAS A RECALL, I WAS TOLD ONLY YUKON HAD THE RECALL. I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS, THEY ARE BASICALLY THE SAME. THEY KNOW THESE HOSES RUN TOO HOT NOT TO BE SEPARATED OR AT LEAST INSULATED. THE PART COSTS AN INSANE $861 DOLLARS. ALL OF THESE VEHICLES NEED TO BE RECALLED OR CORRECTED.

I CAN'T AFFORD A NEW ENGINE, NOR A NEW CAR, I JUST PURCHASED THIS USED AT HURD BUICK IN RHODE ISLAND 5/2017 EXPLAINED NEEDED DEPENDABLE CAR, I'M A SINGLE PARENT WORKING FULL TIME AND THEY GAVE ME A LEMON KNOWING FULL WELL THE ENGINE PROBLEMS WITH THIS MIDEL! ON 5/21/18 AT 59050 ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN WITH CODE P0017 TOOK IT BACK IN FOUND TIMING CHAIN HAS EXCESSIVE WEAR AGAIN REPLACED BOTH INTAKE & EXHAUST ACTUATORS WITH CAM., INTAKE MANIFOLD SET, CATALYTIC CONVERTER, TIMING CHAIN BECAUSE IT WAS PREMATURELY WORN, & CAM ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. SENT ALL DOCUMENTATION TO GM BUT THEY BASICALLY LAUGHED AND SAID SORRY OUT OF WARRANTY. I BELIEVE SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE TO FORCE THEM TO DO A RECALL & REIMBURSE US FOR ALL THE TIMING CHAIN REPAIRS. AT THIS RATE WE WILL BE REPLACING TIMING CHAIN EVERY 10000 MILES. THEY NEED TO RECALL THIS ENGINE AS THERE IS EVIDENCE OF MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH IT.

3.2L V6 ENGINE DROPPED A VALVE AND BLEW THE ENGINE. IS A KNOWN ISSUE ON THAT YEAR MODEL. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR STARTED MAKING A CLICKING NOISE AND STOPPED PULLING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH NO WARNING. ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. CAR FELT LIKE IT WOULD NOT PULL. ONCE GOT TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, THE CAR WOULD NOT TURN OVER AGAIN. TOOK IT TO MECHANIC AND SAID IT DROPPED A VALVE. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME UP ON MY 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE CXL APPROXIMATELY 3 MONTHS AGO (SEPTEMBER 2017), HOWEVER, WHEN I WENT TO GET THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DIAGNOSED IT TURNED OFF. THIS CAME BACK ON IN OCTOBER 2017, BUT BECAUSE IT HAPPENED LATE AT NIGHT I DECIDED TO GO TO A LOCAL AUTOZONE AND THEY RAN A DIAGNOSTIC AND INFORMED ME THAT IT INDICATED THAT IT WAS THE TIMING CHAIN AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. WHEN I TOOK THIS TO THE LOCAL DEALER, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS NO LONGER ON, AND THEY INDICATED THEY COULD NOT ACCEPT THE DIAGNOSTIC FROM THE LOCAL AUTOZONE. THE CHECK ENGINE HAS AGAIN TURNED ON (DECEMBER 2017) AND INDICATES THAT THERE IS A BAD TIMING CHAIN THAT NEED TO BE REPLACED. EARLIER ENCLAVE MODELS HAD THIS ISSUE, AND THE MANUFACTURER EXTENDED THE WARRANTY TO REPLACE THE TIMING CHAIN TO 10 YEARS OR 120,000. IN ALL THREE CASES, THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE CAME UP.

THE TIMING CHAINS AND GUIDES USED ON THIS MODEL, AS WELL AS SOME EARLIER MODELS ARE DRASTICALLY UNDERCAPABLE, AND SUBJECT TO STRETCHING AT PREMATURE TIMES. THIS CAN CAUSE A CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE. WHILE SOME EARLIER MODELS HAVE BEEN SUBJECT TO RECALL, GM HAS NOT STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE AND FIXED THE ISSUE BY REDESIGN. THE ISSUE PERSISTS, AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. AT PRESENT, MY VEHICLE IS SHOWING THE P0008 CODE, REPEATEDLY, WHICH INDICATES THIS ISSUE. WHILE I HAVE BEEN LUCKY TO THIS POINT, IN THAT I HAVE NOT HAD A CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE, I BELIEVE THAT THE PROBLEM IS IMMINENT. ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND TOOK INTO DEALERSHIP FOR A DIAGNOSIS OF ISSUE. WAS TOLD THAT THE TIMING CHAIN HAD STRETCHED AND NEEDED REPLACED WITH A COST ESTIMATE OF $3000. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED, THE FIRST BEING AT 48K MILES, AND NOW AT 95K MILES. WHEN THE REPAIR WAS BEING MADE, WAS TOLD THAT THE CRANK SHAFT WAS WARPED AND HAD FRAYED THE ENGINE INTERNALLY - CAUSED BY THE BAD TIMING CHAIN AND I NOW NEEDED A NEW ENGINE. CONTACTED BUICK, BUT THEY WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. BUICK HAS KNOWN ABOUT THIS ISSUE FOR YEARS, AND YET REFUSES TO BACK THEIR PRODUCT OR HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS. ONCE THE ENGINE WAS REPLACED, I NOW HAVE A LOUD POWER STEERING 'WHINE' AND WAS TOLD THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP NEEDS REPLACED - ANOTHER KNOWN ISSUE BY BUICK. JUST INCREDIBLE.

MY 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE WITH LESS THAN 85000 MILES HAD A CATATSTROPHIC ENGLINE FAILURE ON HIGHWAY 895 IN BALTIMORE, MD ON 8/22/2017. WE WERE TRAVELING ABOUT 60 MILES PER HOUR WHEN THIS HAPPENED. THERE WAS A LOUD NOISE FOLLOWED BY BILLOWS OF WHITE SMOKE AND THE CAR STOPPED. WE HAD A TOW TRUCK PICK IT UP AND THE SERVICE ATTENDANT AT THE REPAIR PLACE SAID THERE IS A FIST SIZE HOLE IN THE ENGINE BLOCK. THE BUICK BRAND QUALITY MANAGER SAID THAT THE PROBLEM WAS "FIXED" FOR THE 2010 MODEL YEAR AND THAT'S WHY THE GM SPECIAL POLICY #11340C WAS LIMITED TO 2007-2009 MODEL YEARS.THEY REFUSED ANY ASSISTANCE IN FIXING THE ENGINE. WITHOUT ANY WARNING SIGNALS OUR TIMING CHAIN STRETCHED AND SLIPPED ON OUR 2010 BUICK ENCLAVE. IT CAUSED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. THE ENGINE COMPLETELY DIED WHILE IN MOTION, STOPPING THE VEHICLE FROM MOVEMENT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. WHEN ACCELERATING TO MERGE ONTO HIGHWAYS, WHEN ACCELERATING TO OVERTAKE VEHICLES AND WHEN DEPRESSING THE GAS PEDAL TO CLIMB STEEPER HILLS THE CAR ENGINE WOULD NOT RESPOND. THIS WAS AN INTERMITTENT ISSUE AS ONLY OCCURRED OCCASIONALLY. HOWEVER, ON AT LEAST 2 OCCASIONS THERE WERE NEAR CRASHES OF VEHICLES INTO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. ONE TIME WHILE MERGING ONTO A HIGHWAY AND DEPRESSING THE ACCELERATOR THE ENGINE WOULD NOT INCREASE SPEED AND STAYED AT 45MPH. A TRANSPORT TRUCK IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE CLOSED DISTANCE AND HAD TO BRAKE AS THEY COULD NOT MOVE TO THE CENTRE LANE AND I WAS UNABLE TO GET TO SHOULDER AS I STILL THOUGHT THE ENGINE WOULD RESPOND. I EASED OFF THE GAS AND THEN ACCELERATED AGAIN WHICH THEN KICKED IN THE ENGINE. ANOTHER TIME A SIMILAR INCIDENT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS CLIMBING A STEEPER GRADE ON THE HIGHWAY. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESPOND AND KEEP SPEED AND STARTED TO LOSE SPEED AND I MOVED TO THE RIGHT HAND LANE. I COULD NOT GO TO THE SHOULDER AS THERE WAS A GUARD RAIL ALONG AN ESCARPMENT. AGAIN, A TRANSPORT TRUCK CAME UP RIGHT BEHIND ME ANTICIPATING I WOULD BE KEEPING SPEED. OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS THIS HAPPENED TO MY WIFE AND I A COUPLE TIMES A WEEK AND HAD TAKEN THIS INTO A GARAGE TO BE CHECKED OUT. AT THAT TIME THERE WERE NO INDICATOR LIGHTS ON OR CODES AND THE GARAGE FOUND NOTHING. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THIS ISSUE AND WHAT I FOUND AND WHAT REALLY BOTHERS ME IS THAT GM WAS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND ACTUALLY ISSUED A TSB FOR 2009 MODELS. MY CAR WAS BUILT IN MODEL SWITCH OVER TIME AS A 2010 MODEL IN AUGUST 2009 BUT WITH THE SAME PARTS AND TIMING CHAIN. THE COMPANY OBVIOUSLY KNEW THAT THE VEHICLES COULD HAVE ISSUES AND FAILED TO NOTIFY.

IT WAS TOWED TO THE REPAIR SHOP WHICH IDENTIFIED IT AS TIMING CHAIN STRETCHED. ON-LINE RESEARCH SHOWS THAT THE TIMING CHAIN HAS BEEN AN ISSUE WITH BUICK, AND THEY EXTENDED THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY TO COVER REPAIRS FOR THE 2008-2009 MODEL. IT APPEARS THAT THE SAME OR SIMILAR PROBLEM IS OCCURRING WITH THE 2010 MODEL. STIPULATION FOR THIS TO BE COVERED, UNDER 120K MILES OF 10 YEARS WHICHEVER FIRST. MY CAR EXPERIENCED INITIAL TROUBLES AT 110K IN MAY AND THIS POTENTIAL FATAL INCIDENT AT 125. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON. CAR WAS SEEMINGLY WORKING ALRIGHT, HOWEVER, AFTER FUELING UP, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO RESTART THE CAR. IN FACT, AT THE LAST FILL UP I WAS UNABLE TO START THE CAR FOR OVER 20 MINUTES WHILE AT THE GAS PUMP. THIS CAUSED A GREAT DEAL OF ANGER, FRUSTRATION, AND RAGE IN THE OTHER DRIVERS WHO WERE WAITING TO FUEL THEIR CARS AT VERY BUSY GAS STATION NEAR LAX. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THE FUEL SENSORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT A TOTAL COST OF $1700.00. TWO MONTHS PRIOR THE AIR CONDITIONER/HEATER REQUIRED REPAIR AS A HOSE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO A LEAK, A $425 REPAIR, FURTHERMORE, THE STEERING PROBLEM WE SEEMINGLY HAD CORRECTED 3 YEARS AGO IS OCCURRING AGAIN AND IS NEED OF ANOTHER REPAIR. AND LASTLY, 50% OF THE TIME WHEN I TURN OFF THE ENGINE AND PULL THE KEY OUT OF THE CAR, THE ENGINE CONTINUES TO RUN. THE OCCURRED AROUND 80-85,000 MILES.

I WAS DRIVING STRAIGHT ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, THE ENGINE STARTED TO RUN VERY ROUGH, AND VERY SHORTLY THEREAFTER (ABOUT ONE MILE) THE ENGINE DIED. THE CAR HAD TO BE TOWED TO A MECHANIC WHERE THEY FOUND A BROKEN TIMING CHAIN THAT CAUSED SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE CYLINDER HEAD, VALVES, AND CAMSHAFT CAPS AND SENSORS. WHILE IT WAS IN FOR SERVICE THEY DID CORRECT RECALL 14187 FRONT SAFETY BELT ANCHOR HOWEVER THEY CHARGED ME FOR REPLACING THE REAR LIFT-GATE STRUTS WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED BY RECALL 15240. REIMBURSEMENT REQUEST ATTACHED. WHILE RESEARCHING RECALLS I CAME ACROSS 10287 - CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM ADDRESSING PROBLEMS WITH THE TIMING CHAIN IN SEVERAL GM VEHICLES. THIS TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY COSTLY REPAIR BECAUSE OF THE DAMAGE DONE BY THE CHAIN WHIPPING AROUND IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. IT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF A RECALL HAD BEEN IN PLACE. ALTHOUGH OUR VEHICLE IS A 2010 WE ONLY JUST PURCHASED IT THIS PAST MAY. DO WE HAVE ANY RECOURSE? CAN WE EXPECT ANY COMPENSATION?

I EVENTUALLY WAS ABLE TO GET TO 55 MPH. THE NEXT TIME I DROVE THE CAR IT ACTED FINE. TWO DAYS LATER WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH ON THE INTERSTATE WITHOUT WARNING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, TRACTION STABILITY SERVICE WARNING LIGHT, THE ABS BRAKE WARNING LIGHT ALL CAME ON THE BRAKES FELT LIKE MUSH, THE CAR SLOWED IN TRAFFIC, ALL WHILE IN THE PASSING LANE WITH TRAFFIC BEHIND ME. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER,WHERE PURCHASED, THEY HAD THE VEHICLE FOR 2 1/2 WEEKS CALLED ME STATED "WE CAN NOT GET IT TO ACT UP, COME AND PICK UP CAR" NOT REPAIRED. I ASKED ABOUT CODES IN COMPUTER, I HAVE A COPY OF THESE, THEY STATED THEY WERE HISTORY CODES NOT HARD CODES.
