1. THE STEERING COLUMN SUPPORT BRACKET ATTACHING BOLTS WERE UNDER TORQUED DURING ASSEMBLY. MY VEHICLE HAS WIRING PROBLEMS AND STARTING PROBLEMS THAT COME AND GO. INADEQUATE TORQUE CAN CAUSE THESE BOLTS TO VIBRATE LOOSEN OR FALL OUT RESULTING IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL SUPPORT BRACKET ATTACHING BOLTS TO THE CORRECT SPECIFICATIONS. THERE IS A RECALL FOR 1995 BUICKS BUT NOT INCLUDING MY BUICK. *TR

WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE LOST POWER STEERING. THIS MADE STEERING WHEEL HARD TO TURN. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. *AK

WHILE DRIVING ONTO A PARKING RAMP STEERING AND BRAKES LOCK UP WHILE ENGINE STILL RUNNING. MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED AT THIS TIME. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS ON THIS MATTER. *AK
CONSUMER RECEIVED RECALL 00V057000 REGARDING SEAT BELT RETRACTOR FAILURE. DEALER REFUSED TO CORRECT RECALL PROBLEM. CONSUMER INDICATED SEAT BELTS WERE INOPERABLE. *AK
SINCE VEHICLE WAS ONE YEAR OLD IT HAS HAD STEERING VIBRATION AND NOISE. BUICK DEALERS AND HEAD QUARTERS HAVE DENIED GIVING ME ANY BULETIN OR ADVISORY INFO ON THE PROBLEM. THEY DID HOWEVER GIVE ME AN EXTENED WARRANTY SO I WOULD MAKE NO FURTHER COMPLAINTS UNLESS A NEW PROBLEM AROSE. I ONLY WANT TO KNOW IF A SOLUTION HAS BEEN FOUND, IF THERE ARE ADVISORIES ON THE STEERING, AND HOW TO PROCEED WITH THEM. BUICK HAS BEEN OF NO HELP.
THE TILT STEERING MECHANISM IS LOOSE. THERE IS APPROXIMATELY 2" OF PLAY IN THE TILT WHILE IN THE LOCK POSITION FOR DRIVING. THE MANUFACTURER SEEMS TO THINK THERE IS A LOOSE BOLT/BOLTS IN THE STEERINY COLUMN THAT CONNECTS THE TILT WHEEL.
POWER STEERING GEAR BOX FAILED, RESULTING IN LOSS OF POWER STREERING CONTROL. *AK
THE CONSUMER HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH POWER STEERING. WHILE DRINING POWER STEERING FAILED AND VEHICLE HAD A LOW RPM. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
LEAKAGE AROUND THE RACK & PINION RESULTED IN LEAKAGE OF POWER STEERING FLUID AND A TRANSMISSION PAN LEAK WHICH RESULTED IN LOSS OF TRANSMISSION FLUID.
POWER STEERING FAILURE.
STEERING PROBLEMS (NOISE AND VIBRATION) NOT ABLE TO BE RECTIFIED.
POWER STEERING FAILURE, WHEN DRIVING STEERING BECOMES VERY HARD, AND WHEN RELEASED OVER STEERS, CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL OF VEHICLE. *AK
