FACTORY INSTALLED WATER PUMP WITHOUT THE BEARING SEAL. THIS CAUSED COOLANT LEAKAGES AND OVERHEATING. ENGINEER INSPECTED ORIGINAL WATER PUMP AND STATED THAT THE BEARINGS WERE NOT SEALED AND SHOULD NOT HAVE FAILED AT 45000 MILES. *AK *ML
FRONT CAM OIL LEAK REPAIR 2 TIMES BAD FRONT SPRING REPLACE OVERHEATING, REPLACED THERMOSTAT AND WATER PUMP, TO NO AVAIL, COOLANT SENSOR INSTALLED PROBLEM SOLVED. MODEL ROADMASTER
ENGINE BEGAN PUFFING AND THE SMELL OF EXHAUST WAS DETECTED IN THE CABIN. UPON EXAMINATION BY THE DEALER TWO BOLTS ON THE LEFT FRONT OF THE ENGINE THAT HOLD THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO THE ENGINE WERE SHEARED OFF CAUSING THE EXHAUST LEAK. DEALER STATED THAT BOLTS WERE EITHER DEFECTIVE OR IMPROPERLY INSTALLED AT MANUFACTURER. NOT DUE TO FAIR WEAR AND TEAR. ENGINE HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY UNTOUCHED SINCE PURCHASE NEW. *AK
RECALL 94V049000. VEHICLE HAD AN OIL LEAK, OIL WAS DOWN. DEALER REPLACED THE OIL COOLER HOSE AND RADIATOR. VEHICLE DOES NOT COMPLY TO THE RECALL, REPAIRS MADE AT OWNERS EXPENSE. *AK

TWO BOLTS ON THE LEFT EXHAUST MANIFOLD FAILED (BROKE)ALLOWING EXHAUST TO LEAK INTO THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. EXACT DATE OF AND MILAGE OF BOLTS BREAKING IS NOT KNOWN. I DID NOT NOTICE IT UNTIL THE EXHAUST STARTED LEAKING AND MAKING NOISE. THE DEALER WANTED $800.00 TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I BELIEVE THE BOLTS ARE DEFECTIVE AND SHOULD BE REPLACED AT GM'S COST NOT MINE. EXHAUST BOLTS SHOULD NOT BREAK, THEY WERE NOT TOUCHED OR WORKED ON BY ANYONE, THEY JUST BROKE. MUST BE DEFECTIVE OR TORKED TOO TIGHT AT FACTORY.
ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM HOSES FAILED CAUSING OIL TO LEAK INTO ENGINE.
EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM FAILED.
