2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO Unknown Or Other Problems

I would like to report a safety concern with my car having a strong shuddering or vibration, including the steering wheel which I’m unable to move. When this happens RPM remain below 3000 rpm as if the the gears were having trouble changing, the shaking remains while driving in the city at around 25-35 mph and highway speeds at around 65-76 mph. My car was under warranty when this started happening, the dealership flushed and replaced the transmission fluid and it took care of the problem for about 2000 miles (GM has several bulletins in regards to the “shake” on different model vehicles since 2014). When the shuddering returned, I returned to the freedom Chevrolet where I bought the vehicle (actual mileage 53768) and explained the shuddering returning. I was advised to leave the car which now has been at the dealership for months and they refuse to fix the problem stating it is out of warranty. I provided all the bulletins I found on related issue which GM has stated they fix the problem by swapping the transmission on new cars but nothing has been done on the cars that have the existing problem because “there is no recall” as the service advisor stated. This problem could’ve been resolved when I took the car the first time but I wasn’t aware of the severity of the problem or that I would have so much trouble with the dealership now. All I asked is to honor the warranty as the issue was brought up when the vehicle was still under warranty and has less than 60,000 miles.

The blender door that controls the air flow will close all the way and causes fog build up on the front windshield constantly whether it's cold or hot outside. It also randomly changes from hot to cold during driving. This is a concern due to drivability with the windshield fogging up or the comfortability of driving in extreme conditions ie... Hot, cold, or rainy conditions keeping the temperature in the car to see. Thank you for your time.

So the rear window in the convertible top is coming on glued and it can cause issue water is starting to come in. I have seen alot of other cars and people complaining about this issue. When I contacted the dealership about this issue they kinda blew me off. To get it fixed is to replace the whole top at 3200 to 3800.

1. Transmission Control Unit Issue/Shift to park Gear issue depleting battery/OTHER

This vehicle is having issues that no Chevy repair place is able to recognize or fix. I can not drive this vehicle due to safety concern.

Shudder in the transmission. My camaro shudders between 40 and 50 mph. It had a recall and was taken in for the repairs. It was a transmission fluid flush and a change in the fluid. Something like that. The problem is shudder isn't fixed it was for a while but its back. There's definitely something still wrong with this. Is it causing the car more damage? I believe GM should repair all the recalled vehicles right! This is an issue and a huge nuisance. Shudder problem is still there!

Reduced performance/reduce clutch use

GM has a service bulletin about issue. it involves all 2016 to current Camaro Convertible models. Back window that is sealed to the top just suddenly pops out. Rolling down window at highway speed while top up just pops out back window. the service bulletin states that and insufficient amount of primer is used during the assembly process. This allows the material to separate from glass. Window just pops out. purchased car new november of 2018 with 50 miles on it. car is garage kept and has less then 17000 miles. i am on my 3rd top. Gm will not cover the serious and potentially dangerous problem. TOP right of passenger side window failed. driving with top up and window open will further seperate glass from top and blow out. car is not safe to drive with top up.

I have 2017 Camaro convertible, around 2020 I notice the rear window glass was separating from the top material. This car manufacturer should take the responsibility to repair the defect. There was an earlier complaint with NHTSA service # 17-NA-216

THE CONVERTIBLE TOP HAD A RECALL ON MY CAR. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY KEPT THE CAR FOR A WHILE AND REPLACED THE TOP BUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER I TOOK IT HOME THE MECHANICAL MECHANISM BROKE AND HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO USE THE TOP AND NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME TO REPLACE THE RECALLED TOP AND MOTOR TO THE CONVERTIBLE TOP PORTION

2017 CAMARO PURCHASED CAR ON FEBRUARY 2017; RECENTLY MY CAR HAS BEEN SHOWING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT EVERY TIME I GO OVER A SPEEDBUMP OR POT HOLE OR ANYTHING. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL GO AWAY IN A DAY OR TWO AFTER THAT. THE THIRD TIME THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON, I GOT A READING DONE AT AUTOZONE, SHOWED IT WAS TRANSMISSION FLUIDS OR TRANSMISSION SENSOR. FEW DAYS AFTER THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED OFF AND TOOK IT TO ED BOZARTH, WHERE I PURCHASED MY CAR, SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS UNABLE TO DETECT FOR A WHOLE WEEK FROM 11/24/2020 TO 11/30/2020 WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR. THEY FINALLY GOT BACK TO ME AND STATED MY CAR IS READING P0711 FOR TRANSMISSION FLUID SENOR PERFORMANCE AND THEY NEED TO REPLACE TWO TRANSMISSION HARNESS. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NOT SURE HOW IT HAPPEN OR WHAT CAUSED IT. I BELIEVE THIS COULD BE PART OF THE SERVICE BULLETIN:15111 SPECIAL COVERAGE.

RADIO COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING AND THAT'S WHERE YOU CHANGE ALL OF YOUR SETTINGS

I TOOK MY 2017 CHEVY CAMARO TO TOM BELL CHEVY LOCATED IN REDLANDS CALIFORNIA THEY REPLACED THE SOFT TOP ON MY CAR BECAUSE OF A RECALL. WHEN I GOT HOME I NOTICED THAT THE SOFT TOP WAS MAKING NOISES WHEN IT WAS GOING UP AND AS I WAS CLOSING IT. WHEN I LOOKED TO SEE WHAT THE NOISE WAS, I SAW THAT THE ARMS THAT RAISE THE SOFT TOP UP AND DOWN WERE COMPLETELY BROKEN. I CONTACTED TOM BELL CHEVY IMMEDIATELY AND WAS TOLD TO CONTACT THE 'UPHOLSTERY GUY' WHO I'VE NEVER MET IN MY LIFE. THEY GAVE ME A NUMBER TO CALL AND TOLD ME THAT THE PERSON OR COMPANY THEY USED TO REPLACE THE SOFT TOP THAT WAS RECALLED ON MY 2017 CAMARO WOULD COME TO MY HOME AND FIX THE ISSUE. IT HAS BEEN NOW MONTHS AND NO ONE HAS EVER CAME TO FIX IT NOR HAS TOM BELL CHEVY IN REDLANDS CALIFORNIA CALLED ME BACK. I E LEFT VOICEMAIL AFTER VOICEMAIL, EMAILED THEM MANY TIMES AND SENT TEXTS AND CALLED THE UPHOLSTERY PEOPLE BUT NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALLS OR EMAILS. THE VEHICLE IS DAMAGED AND IT WAS DONE BY WHOMEVER DID THE RECALL REPLACEMENT ON THE SOFT TOP. ALSO, THE SOFT TOP THAT MY VEHICLE WAS REPLACED WITH IS NASTY, VERY VERY CHEAP MATERIAL AND WHILE DRIVING THE CAR IT FEELS LIKE THE ENTIRE CAR IS GOING TO FLIP OVER BECAUSE OF HOW THIN AND CHEAP MATERIAL THE SOFT TOP WAS REPLACED WITH. I NEED SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY SO THAT THIS ISSUE CAN GET FIXED. BACK GLASS BEGAN COMING LOOSE FROM RAG TOP AROUND THE EDGES OF THE GLASS STARTING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GLASS PANEL IN THE CORNERS AT ABOUT 34,000 MILES. BACK GLASS COULD POTENTIALLY BLOW OUT AND CAUSE DAMAGE OR HARM TO OTHER MOTORIST OR PASSENGERS. *TR

THE BACK WIDOW IS COMING LOSE FROM THE CONVERTIBLE TOP. IT STARTED AROUND 37000 MILES AND NOW MORE AND MORE IT COMING LOSE. . IT COULD A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE IF IT COMES OUT. I KNOW TONS OF CAMARO OWNERS WITH SAME ISSUES

THE REAR WINDOW ON MY CONVERTIBLE IS DELAMINATING FROM THE CONVERTIBLE TOP. ITS CONCERNING CONSIDERING THE POSSIBILITY OF IT FALLING OUT AND SHATTERING ON A PASSENGERS HEAD! THE FLIPPER DOORS ON THE INTERIOR REAR QUARTER PANELS HAVE ALSO BROKEN. A SERVICE BULLETIN WAS PREVIOUSLY RELEASED, BUT THE DEALERSHIP REFUSED TO FIXED BOTH ISSUES.
