THE CONTACT WAS BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE AND HEARD A LOUD ROAR, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED, AND BEFORE THE CONTACT COULD APPLY THE BRAKES THE VEHICLE STRUCK A BUILDING. CONSUMER HAD CANCELED CRUISE CONTROL AT 70 MPH TO COME OFF THE INTERSTATE, CONSUMER CAME TO A PARKING LOT AND PARKED VEHICLE, WHEN GETTING BACK IN VEHICLE AND PUTTING IT IN REVERSE, THE VEHICLE HIT A BUILDING AT 70 MPH, THERE WAS ONE INJURY, CONSUMER FEELS THE CRUISE CONTROL GOT STUCK. *SLC
VEHICLE WAS INSIDE OF THE PARKING LOT, CONSUMER SIFTED GEAR INTO REVERSE AND VEHICLE SURGED BACKWARDS. THEN, HE SHIFTED GEAR INTO DRIVE AND THERE WAS A LOUD NOISE. DRIVER DID NOT PUSH GAS PEDAL WHEN THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD. BRAKES WOULDN'T STOP VEHICLE. VEHICLE HIT A PARKED CAR AND THEN A TRAILER. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. WHILE SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT, VEHICLE SURGES FORWARD WHILE FOOT IS ON THE BRAKE, CONSUMER HAS TO APPLY A LOT OF PRESSURE ON THE BRAKE TO KEEP FROM MOVING FORWARD, THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON COLD WEATHER, ENGINE DOES NOT REV WHILE THIS IS HAPPENING. *SLC
