This Problem Across All Years
I HAVE A 2009 CHEVY COBALT SS. I BOUGHT IT IN MARCH 09. THE VERY FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS, I HAD A CRACKED TURBO COOLER AND HAD TO HAVE SOMETHING ELSE MAJOR REPLACED. THEN AFTER 24K MILES, I HAD TO HAVE THE REAR BRAKES AND ROTORS REPLACED. NOW AT 31K MILES, MY SRV BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHT IS COMING ON. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE BRAKES ON MY CAR??? *TR

MY REAR BRAKES ON MY 09 COBALT SS ARE WEARING UNEVENLY. MY RIGHT SIDE REAR BRAKE PADS ARE COMPLETELY USED UP AND AS A RESULT HAVE BEGUN TO GRIND ON TO THE ROTORS AND CAUSED THEM TO FORM PITS, AND OR GROOVES. VERY DISAPPOINTING. *TR

THE REAR BRAKES ON THE 2008-9 COBALT SS ARE CAUSING ROTOR SCORING AT 400+ MILES. THE PADS ARE TOO AGGRESSIVE OR THE ROTORS ARE TOO SOFT AND THE ROTORS ARE BEING DESTROYED WHICH COULD LEAD TO BRAKE FAILURE IF NOT REPLACED. *TR
