LESS THAN 30 DAYS I HAVE PURCHASE A CAR FROM GALLIMORE MOTORS STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPING REPORTED IT TO THE DEALER, WHO DID NOTHING. IT WAS LIKE OH WELL. THEN NOW THE STABILITRAK IS COMING ON, I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD THIS CAR FOR 30 DAYS UNTIL YESTERDAY.

THE CAR HAS HAD ISSUES SINCE I BOUGHT IT. EVERYTHING FROM THE TRANSMISSION TO THE SEATBELTS TO THE ENGINE TO THE BRAKES THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG. MY VIN NUMBER DOESNT MATCH THE RECALLS BUT TEVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG IS RECALLED ON THE 2012 AND 2013 BUT I MISSED THE RECALL BY A WEEK? SOUNDS LIKE TO ME GM KNEW THE MOST ISSUES WERE ON THE CAR MANAUFACTURED WHEN MINE WAS AND DIDNT WANT TO FIX THE PROBLEM
MY SON WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD LAST WEEK AND DASH FLASHED STABILINK AND HE LOST ALL POWER AND FORCES HIM TO TRY TO PULL OVER WHICH HE COULD BECAUSE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND BRAKES GOT HARD TO PUSH. A WEEK LATER STABILINK FLASHED AGAIN AND THEN WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD HE HAD TO SLAM ON BRAKES FOR A STOPPED VEHICLE AND BRAKES WOULD WORK AND STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AGAIN RESULTING IN HIM REAR ENDING THE VEHICLE.
DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE DOING 70-80MPH AND THE CAR STARTS DINGING-STABILITRACK, TRACTION CONTROL, AND REDUCED POWER ALL COME ON AND THE CAR LOSES POWER WITHOUT ANY WARNING AND COULDN'T DRIVE FASTER THAN 5 MPH AND HAD TO GET TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD WITHOUT GETTING HIT BY OTHER VEHICLES DOING THE SAME SPEED. THIS VEHICLE WITH THIS ISSUE THAT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN ON THE ROAD. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL ISSUES WITH THIS VEHICLE AND CEL LIGHTS ON BUT NOTHING THAT ALMOST COMPLETELY STOPS VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING AND ALMOST KILLS EVERYONE IN THE CAR! I GET THEY ARE TRYING TO SAVE THE ENGINE OR WHATEVER FROM FURTHER DAMAGE BUT I AM PRETTY SURE THAT I WOULD LIKE TO LIVE AND NOT KILL ANYONE ELSE IN THE PROCESS OF THIS SO CALLED SAFETY PRECAUTION THE VEHICLE TAKES ON.

IT IS LIKE THE CAR SHUTS OFF BUT WHEN THE RADIO TURNS BACK ON, THEN THE CAR WILL RESTORE POWER. VERY DANGEROUS AND SCARY!!! AND YET, THERE IS STILL NO RECALL FOR MY SPECIFIC VIN. ALSO, FOR TWO MORNINGS IN A ROW, I HAVE NOTICED A SMELL AND SOME SMOKE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. IT WILL ONLY DO IT FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THE CAR WILL NOT OVERHEAT. I SWEAR IT IS ONE THING AFTER ANOTHER WITH THIS CAR.
WHILE DRIVING THE MUSIC WILL SHUT OFF AND THE DASHBOARD WHICH PROJECTS THE SPEED FLASHES ON AND OFF. MY HEADLIGHTS AND TURN SIGNALS ARE ALSO EFFECTED BY THE ISSUE AS WELL; AT ONE POINT WHILE DRIVING IT OCCURRED AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP WHILE TRYIN G TO MAKE A TURN ON A CITY STREET.

5/1/2019 MY RADIO STARTED GOING ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING HOME THEN ON 5/2/2019 IT STARTED BLINKING "STALIBITRAK" ON MY GAUGE PANEL ALONG WITH THE RADIO GOING ON AND OFF. IS THIS SOMETHING I NEED TO BE CONCERNED WITH AS MY CAR IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY AND I'M NOT RAKING IN THE DOUGH TO HAVE THIS ON MY PLATE ALONG WITH THE OTHER ISSUES WITH THE CAR. I'VE ONLY HAD THIS CAR FOR A YEAR AND A HALF.

A WEEK OR SO AGO WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK ON THE INTERSTATE THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WENT DARK AND THE DISPLAY IN THE CENTER OF IT COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. I FINISHED THE REMAINING 30 MINS. OF MY DRIVE WITHOUT IT RETURNING TO NORMAL(LIGHTS OFF DISPLAY REMAINED OFF). I DIDN'T HAVE ANY MORE ISSUES UNTIL TODAY. THIS AFTERNOON I DROVE TO A FAMILY GET TOGETHER AND WHILE STILL IN THE CITY MY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PLUS MY RADIO DISPLAY STARTED TO RANDOMLY SHUT OFF THEN COME BACK ON AFTER A SECOND OR TWO SOMETIMES CONTINUOUSLY FOR 10-20 SECONDS AND ONCE FOR AROUND 30 SECONDS. EACH TIME THEY WENT OFF THE SPEAKERS WOULD SHUT OFF TOO AND I'M NOT SURE IF THE TURN SIGNALS WORKED DUE TO THE LACK OF A DISPLAY AND AUDIO. ONE INSTANCE I ALSO ENCOUNTERED EITHER REDUCED POWER STEERING OR COMPLETE LOSS OF IT FOR SEVERAL SECONDS WHILE LOSING POWER TO THE DISPLAYS AND REGAINING IT APPROXIMATELY 15 TIMES OVER ABOUT A 30 SECOND TIMEFRAME. AFTER THAT I GOT A STABILITRAK MESSAGE BUT STEERING WAS NORMAL FOR THE REST OF THE DRIVE. HOWEVER THE CLUSTER, RADIO DISPLAY, SPEAKERS, ETC. CONTINUED TO RANDOMLY TURN OFF FOR A SECOND OR TWO THEN COME BACK ON. WHEN WE LEFT THE GATHERING WITHIN A MINUTE OF STARTING THE CAR(HADN'T EVEN MADE IT OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY) EVERYTHING STARTED SHUTTING DOWN THEN COMING BACK ON JUST LIKE EARLIER BUT STEERING WASN'T EFFECTED AGAIN AND NO STABILITRAK MESSAGE ON THE WAY HOME EITHER. TODAY THE DRIVE STARTED IN A CITY THEN WAS OPEN HIGHWAY FOR ABOUT 20 MINS. AND THE GATHERING WAS AT A HOUSE ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF A TOWN. THE LOSS OF POWER TO THE THINGS I MENTIONED ABOVE SEEMED TO BE COMPLETELY RANDOM AND WERE NOT EFFECTED BY SPEED, STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, OR OPEN HIGHWAY. THE ONE TIME STEERING WAS EFFECTED I WAS TAKING OFF AT A STOP LIGHT BUT IT'S HARD TO SAY IF THAT WAS A FACTOR SINCE NONE OF THE OTHER STOPS WERE.

THERE IS NOTHING TO DO WHEN IT DOES THIS YOU JUST HAVE TO LET IT GO OFF UNTIL IT STOPS. THE SPEED GAUGE CHANGES FROM WHAT THE NON DIGITAL ONE SAYS. AND THE ENGINE LIGHT SHUTS OFF AND ON WHEN YOU HIT A BUMP.

MY CAR SLOWED DOWN TO ABOUT 5 MILES AND I WAS ALMOST HIT. I REVERSED BACK INTO MY COMPANY'S LOT. SOMEONE SCANNED MY CAR AND THE CODE WAS FOR P2135. DOING RESEARCH, I FOUND IT WAS A PREVIOUS RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE BUT CAN'T FIND ANY NOW.

I WOULD START SMELLING A VERY STRONG BURNT SMELL BUT NO OIL WAS FALLING TO THE FLOOR, BUT ONCE I STOPPED DRIVING THERE WOULD'VE SMOKE EVERYWHERE. WAS TOLD THERE IS A VACUUM LEAK COMING FROM PCV WHICH IS BUILT IN VALVE COVER...HAVE HAD VALVE COVER CHANGED 3 TIMES IN 3 WEEKS AND EACH TIME, IT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE DIED UNDER MY HOOD AND BLED OIL! AM TOLD THAT THERE IS TOO MUCH PRESSURE COMING IN AND SO CAUSES OIL TO FIND A WAY OUT AND LEAKS IT SPILLS IT SLASHES, AND IT'S A MYSTERY! ALSO, THERE IS ANOTHER LEAK THAT ALL OF A SUDDEN STRATED FROM THE SIDE OF THE ENGINE! WHEN DOING MY RESEARCH, THERE ARE SOOOOOO MANY PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS! THIS NEEDS TO BE SOME SORT OF RECALL. PLEASE HELP!

IT IDLES ROUGH AND SHUTS OFF ROUGH TOO. THE GAS MILEAGE ISN'T AS GOOD AS IT SHOULD AND THE POWER ISN'T AS GOOD AS IT SHOULD. BECUS POWERTRAN IS OVER BY 1 YEAR, CHEVROLET WONT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEY SAID TO TAKE TO OFFICIAL CHEVY DEALERSHIP. WHICH NOW INCURRED A COST OF 370 WITH DISCOUNT. THEIR REP TOLD ME A EACH TIME I CALL THA THE POWERTRAIN IS OVER HOWEVER CONSIDERING THE TROUBLE WITH THE VEHICLE, YOU ARE ON THE PERIMETERS OF THIS. WE GET THE DIAGNOSTICS AND WORK WITH YOU POSSIBLE PICKING UP SOME IF NOT ALL OF THE COST. BEING ON A BUSY 2 LANE, CURVY HIGHWAY, MY CAR JUST COMPLETELY WENT OUT OF GEAR AND THANKFULLY I WAS ABLE CRUISE OFF TO THE SIDE. A FEW MINUTES LATER AN ALERT THAN CAME UP ON MY DASH AND SAID "TRANSMISSION HOT, IDLE ENGINE". I HAD BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 2014 WITH ONLY ONE PREVIOUS OWNER THAT TOOK REALLY GOOD CARE OF IT. IT IS RIDICULOUS FOR MY TRANSMISSION TO GO OUT WITH SUCH LOW MILEAGE AND TO HAVE TO PAY $5,000 FOR A NEW ONE AND PLUS THE CAR PAYMENTS I STILL HAVE ON IT. UNFORTUNATELY, I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO HAVE THIS ISSUE. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS. JUST BECAUSE THEY LOOK NICE DOESN'T MEAN IT WILL LAST LONG.

THIS HAS CAUSED MANY ACCIDENTS AND HAS NEARLY CAUSED MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER AND MYSELF ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS TO NEARLY RUN INTO A POLE OR DITCH. WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE CAR FLASHES SPORADIC MESSAGES SUCH AS A/C OFF HIGH ENGINE HEAT, SERVICE STABILITRAK, CHANGE OIL, ETC. THE CAR ALSO HAS STARTED LEAKING OIL. FINALLY ON FEBRUARY 10TH, 2018 THE CAR HAD THESE SAME ISSUES AGAIN AND THIS TIME THE ENGINE WENT ENTIRELY. THE CAR HAD TOTAL ENGINE FAILURE AT 83,500 MILES AND NOW REQUIRES A NEW ENGINE. THIS IS THE WORST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. UPON GOING ONLINE EVERYONE HAS THESE SAME EXACT ISSUES SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHY MASSIVE RECALLS HAVE NOT BEEN MADE.

RECENTLY, I WAS IN MOTION DRIVING THROUGH CHATANOOGA, TN, WHERE IT IS MOUNTAINOUS AND HAS STEEP HILLS, DURING NIGHTTIME, SO VISIBILITY WAS LESSENED, AND DANGER, DUE TO THE TYPE OF ROAD IT WAS, WAS INCREASED. WHILE GOING DOWNHILL, LUCKILY, WITH OTHER CARS AROUND ME TRAVELING AT 70 MPH, MY CAR JUST SHUT OFF, COMPLETELY. I LOST THE ABILITY TO ACCELERATE, MY LIGHTS SHUT OFF, ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT WITH THE CARS AROUND ME. LUCKILY, I PULLED ONTO THE SHOULDER WITHOUT ANY DAMAGES. THIS HAPPENED AGAIN, ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO, AT A STOP LIGHT. I BEGAN TO ACCELERATE, AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION, MY CAR SHUT OFF, I HAD TO COAST OFF OF THE ROAD, LOST ALL ACCELERATION, AND AGAIN ALMOST WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT.

WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR HOME BY TURNING IT OFF AND RESTARTING IT, BUT IN TRYING TO DRIVE THE CAR TO THE REPAIR SHOP, WAS NOT ABLE TO GET ANY ACCELERATION AND HAD TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED FROM MY DRIVEWAY. DIAGNOSTICS REVEALED THE THROTTLE BODY HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THE SENSOR CLEARED. WAS TOLD BY MY MECHANIC THAT THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN OUT FOR THIS ISSUE FROM GM. THIS IS A CAR WITH 41,000 MILES ON IT.

THIS TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM UNTIL A FEW WEEKS AGO. THIS IS HAPPENING MORE AND MORE OFTEN AND THE PROBLEM IS BECOMING WORSE. I PITY THE FOOL WHO TAILGATES ME! I TOOK THE CAR TO THE LOCAL DEALER, AND HAD THE CALIFORNIA FLASH "RECALL" DONE. LETTING THE CRUZE SIT FOR A FEW MINUTES IN THE OFF POSITION SEEMED TO CLEAR THE ISSUE, BUT IT WAS STILL SCARY TO HAVE THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN LIKE IT DID. LOCAL DEALER CONFIRMED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY WAS JUNK AND REPLACED IT BUT NOT UNDER ANY WARRANTY. TOTAL COST WAS $400. DEALER CONFIRMED THAT SIMILAR ISSUE IS OCCURRING WITH SIERRA PICKUPS AND THE TB IS COVERED UNDER THE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE TB WAS NOT COVERED AS AN ENGINE COMPONENT. I HAD TO PULL OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURN OFF THE CAR AND WAIT SEVERAL MINUTES TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE A SHORT DISTANCE BEFORE THE PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN. COULDN'T REMOVE THE KEY FROM IGNITION, EVENTUALLY GOT CAR TO RESTART AFTER TRYING TO RESTART IT FOR ABOUT FIFTEEN MINUTES. THE NEXT DAY THE SAME THING HAPPENED, SO I PARKED THE CAR AND TURNED IT OFF AND TRIED TO RESTART IT AGAIN. WOULDN'T START AND THE KEY WOULD NOT COME OUT OF IGNITION FOR AT LEAST FORTY-FIVE MINUTES. FINALLY GOT THE CAR TO START AND DROVE HOME. WHEN I GOT HOME, TURNED CAR OFF BUT COULD NOT GET THE KEY OUT OF IGNITION. SAT FOR ANOTHER FIFTEEN MINUTES TRYING TO GET KEY FREE. EVENTUALLY ABLE TO REMOVE, RESTART AND TURN CAR OFF NORMALLY. BUT AFTER LOCKING THE CAR, AND THEN COMING BACK TO GET THINGS OUT OF CAR, THE DOORS WOULD NOT UNLOCK AND I CANNOT GET INTO THE VEHICLE.

A WEEK LATER, SHE WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AND THE LIGHTS CAME ON AGAIN. SHE VIDEO TAPED THE LIGHTS. SHE PULLED OFF AND TURNED CAR OFF AND THEN ON AND EVERYTHING WAS RESET. WE ARE CONCERNED THAT ERROR CANT BE TRACTED BUT CONTINUES TO BE ISSUE.

MORE OFTEN I NOTICE IT WHEN UTILIZING TURN SIGNALS, HAZARD LIGHTS, AND BREAKING. DURING THESE FAULTS, THE CENTER INFORMATION DISPLAY FOR THE HVAC AND ENTERTAINMENT WILL FREQUENTLY TURN OFF. THIS KILLS THE RADIO. IT AT TIMES KILLS THE HVAC SYSTEMS AND THE TURN SIGNALS (AT LEAST THE NOISE FOR THE TURN SIGNAL INDICATORS). AT TIMES, THE CENTER DISPLAY ABOVE THE STEERING COLUMN WILL GO BLACK AND THEN DISPLAY A MESSAGE ABOUT THE STABILITRAK HAVING FAILED AND REQUIRING IT TO BE CHECKED OR THE ABS NEEDING TO BE SERVICED. THEN IT RETURNS TO NORMAL MODE. THE FREQUENCY HAS INCREASED TO EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE VEHICLE. ALSO ON AT LEAST 3 OCCASIONS THE ABS HAS ACTUALLY FAILED. ON ONE OF THOSE OCCASIONS, I HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE WHILE PARKING. THANKFULLY THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO EITHER VEHICLE. WHEN CONNECTING THE VEHICLE TO A DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE, NO ISSUES ARE INDICATED. I'M IN THE MILITARY IN GERMANY WHERE THE ROADS AND HIGHWAYS ARE EXTREMELY HILLY AND IT SNOWS HEAVILY. I'D RATHER NOT DIE IN AN ACCIDENT BEFORE THIS ISSUE IS RECTIFIED.
MY CHEVY CRUZE HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING SIMILAR PROBLEMS FROM PAST REPAIRS AND WOULD SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR WOULD LOSE POWER, MULTIPLE WARNING LIGHTS WOULD FLASH ON THE DASH, THE CAR WOULD LOSE THE ABILITY TO ACCELERATE AND THE DOORS WOULD UNLOCK WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAS OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES YESTERDAY (6/23/15): WHILE DRIVING OVER A BUMP AT A LOW SPEED AND WHILE MERGING ONTO THE FREEWAY AT ABOUT 60MPH. DURING YESTERDAY'S INCIDENT I HAD TO GO INTO THE EMERGENCY LANE AND PUT MY EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON AS MY CAR LOST THE ABILITY TO ACCELERATE. THE CAR LOST POWER FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THE CAR WOULD GAIN POWER IMMEDIATELY AFTER. THERE HAVE BEEN TWO PRIOR INCIDENTS WHERE MY CAR HAS LOST COMPLETE POWER WHILE DRIVING, BOTH TIMES A SAFETY REPORT HAS BEEN FILED. THIS IS A VERY SCARY ISSUE AND HOPE THAT THIS DOES NOT OCCUR AGAIN.

A FEW DAYS AFTER GETTING THE CAR BACK, THE LIGHTS STARTED TO FLICKER AGAIN. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY LET ME KNOW THAT THERE WAS NO POINT IN BRINGING IT IN UNLESS THE PROBLEM WAS CONSTANT. ON A 20 MINUTE DRIVE, I EXPERIENCED 4 FAILURES AND THE ABOVE ELECTRICAL ISSUES HAPPENING NON-STOP FOR THE DURATION OF THE TRIP. A DAY LATER, AS A TEST, I DROVE MY CAR AROUND MY NEIGHBORHOOD (LESS THAN A 1 MINUTE DRIVE) AND EXPERIENCED ALL THE SAME ISSUES, INCLUDING LOSS OF POWER STEERING...I HAVE SCHEDULED SERVICE WITH A DEALER...A SEARCH ON THE INTERNET SHOWS AN ALARMING NUMBER OF CHEVY CRUZE OWNER WITH THIS ISSUE, WHICH POINTS TO MANUFACTURING OR DESIGN DEFECT AND NOT WEAR & TEAR...LOSS OF POWER STEERING WHILE IN MOTION WOULD SEEM TO BE A SAFETY ISSUE AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED. *TR....UPDATED 07/31/14 *BF *TR

RECENTLY, CAR RADIO HAS BEEN FLICKERING ON AND OFF, ALONG WITH SERVICE NOTIFICATIONS OF STABILI TRAC, TRACTION CONTROL. CHEVY DEALER NOTIFIED, SERVICED CAR, FOUND NOTHING AND HAS NO EXPLANATION. TODAY, STOPPED AT A CORNER TO MAKE A RIGHT HAND TURN. AS I WAS ACCELERATING AT APPROX 2-3 MPH AROUND THE CORNER, THEN STEERING WAS LOST AND COULD NOT TURN THE CORNER. LOST ALL CONTROL OF CAR. VERY FORTUNATE THERE WAS NO DAMAGE OR INJURY TO ANYTHING OR ANYONE. SCARY INCIDENT THAT COULD OF HAD A WORSE OUTCOME. *TR

THE CENTER INFORMATION CENTER WITH THE RADIO BEGAN SHUTTING ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING. WHEN THE DISPLAY & RADIO SHUTS OFF, EVEN THE BLINKER WOULDN'T MAKE A SOUND. SOMETIMES DURING THIS A NOTIFICATION WOULD COME UP "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL" AND/OR "SERVICE STABILITRACK." I TRIED TROUBLESHOOTING IT MYSELF FOR A FEW DAYS. SOMETIMES THE BLINKER, SEAT WARMER, OR EVEN PLUGGING IN MY PHONE TO THE USB PORT SEEMED TO TRIGGER IT. I NOTICED THE VOLTAGE FLUCTUATING FROM 12.9 - 15.2V WHILE DRIVING OR AT A STOP. THE DAY THAT I TOOK THE VEHICLE IN FOR REPAIR, ALL THE NOTIFICATION LIGHTS BEGAN TO BLINK AND THEN THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT DURING A LEFT TURN. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED BOTH BATTERY CABLES AND MENTIONED THAT THEY'VE HAD MANY OF THESE CARS IN WITH THIS SAME ISSUE. THE ISSUE APPEARED TO BE RESOLVED AND THE CAR WAS RUNNING GREAT, UNTIL YESTERDAY 1/15/14. EVERYTHING MENTIONED ABOVE, EXCEPT FOR THE POWER STEERING LOSS, IS HAPPENING AGAIN. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE ELECTRICAL INSIDE MY CAR CUTTING IN AND OUT, ALL ELECTRICAL TURNS OFF. SERVICE CHECKS COME ACROSS DASHBOARD FOR POWER STEERING, STABILITY CHECK CONTROL, AND TRACTION CONTROL. THE POWER STEERING HAS STOPPED WORKING AT TIMES AS WELL. I AM NOT SURE BUT IF YOU ARE TURNING IT APPEARS THAT THE TURN SIGNALS STOP WORKING FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE. HEADLIGHTS ARE DIMMER THAN NORMAL WHEN IT CUTS IN AND OUT, IT FLICKERS WITH THE SHORTAGES. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THREE TIMES NOW. THE FIRST TIME THEY TIGHTENED A GROUND WIRE, THE SECOND TIME THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM, THIRD TIME THEY REPLACED THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE, AND NOW I'M TAKING IT BACK A FOURTH TIME TO HAVE THE BODY CONTROL MODULE REPLACED. THIS PROBLEM CONTINUES TO GET WORSE. *TR

THE RADIO ELECTRICAL PANEL WOULD TURN ON & OFF INTERMITTENTLY, THEN THE DRIVERS GAUGE PANEL WOULD FLICKER. AFTER THE GAUGE PANEL FLICKERED, THE POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AND THE POWER STEERING SHUT OFF. THEN THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AND THE TRACTION CONTROL STOPPED WORKING. THEN I WENT TO ROLL UP THE WINDOWS AND THE WHOLE DASH PANEL FLICKERED, THEN THE WINDOWS WOULD NOT ROLL UP. THERE APPEARS TO BE A SERIOUS ELECTRICAL PROBLEM IN THE VEHICLE SOMEWHERE. IT ACTS AS THOUGH THERE IS A SHORT IN THE WIRING HARNESS SOMEWHERE. I AM TAKING IT TO THE CHEVROLET DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS. *TR

THIS STARTED THIS WEEK, THE ELECTRICAL PARTS (RADIO, SPEAKERS, TURNING SIGNAL CLICKER, AC ETC) WILL CONSTANTLY FLICKER OFF THEN COME BACK ON AFTER ABOUT TEN SECONDS, EVERY TIME I HAVE THE CAR RUNNING. THE STABILITY WARNING WILL SOMETIMES GO ON BUT WILL EVENTUALLY GO OUT. THE SPECIFIC INCIDENT OCCURRED THE THE 27TH OF AUGUST WHEN I WENT TO TAKE A LEFT TURN, ON TO A HIGHWAY. WHEN I WENT TO MAKE A TURN MY POWER STEERING LOCKED UP AND ALMOST CAUSED ME TO HIT A PASSING CAR AND GET REAR ENDED. IT SPECIFICALLY LOCKED UP AT ABOUT TEN MILES AN HOUR WHILE PICKING UP SPEED. AFTER I RETURNED TO MY PARKING LOT IT LOCKED UP AGAIN AND CAUSED ME TO HIT A BARRIER, SLIGHTLY DAMAGING THE FRONT BUMPER. SINCE THEN MY POWER STEERING WILL SOMETIMES LOCK UP MAKING IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO TURN. *TT

WHILE DRIVING ON ORTEGA HIGHWAY WHICH IS A TWO LANE HIGHWAY AND IS A CONNECTOR ROAD FROM INLAND EMPIRE TO ORANGE COUNTY WITH NARROW LANES RUNNING THRU CLEVELAND NATIONAL FOREST, I WAS DRIVING WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC AND THE CAR SUDDENLY SHUT OFF, STEERING WHEEL LOCKED, VARIOUS COMPUTER PANEL LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING AND THE CAR BECAME UNCONTROLLABLE TO THE POINT WHERE IT ALMOST WENT OVER CLIFF. THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE AND LUCKY TO BE ALIVE. I HAVE CONTACTED GM DIRECTLY AND WILL CONTACT THE MEDIA IN THE EVENT I RECEIVE NO RESOLUTION. THE CAR IS A SAFETY HAZARD AT THIS POINT AND NOT DRIVABLE. SADLY I JUST PURCHASED THE CAR IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR.
