ALSO, THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW HAS AN INTERMITTENT ELECTRICAL PROBLEM CAUSING WINDOW TO BE INOPERABLE. DEALER DISCONNECTED THE AIR BAG TO KEEP HORN FORM BLOWING, AND GM OFFERED TO PAY FOR HALF OF THE REPAIRS NEEDED TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. *AK *ML

IN THE MIDDLE OF OPERATION THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOP WORKING. SOMETIMES THE WIPERS WILL NOT COME ON FOR 3-4 HOURS AFTER THEY STOP WORKING. THE NEXT DAY THE WIPERS WILL COME ON WITHOUT ANY KIND OF PROBLEM. CHEVROLET IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED. *AK
THIS CAR HAS BEEN A SOURCE OF CONTINUAL PROBLEMS SINCE PURCHASE. I HAVE HAD DOOR LOCKS BREAK, 2 POWER WINDOW MOTORS GO, TRANSMISSION LINE LEAKS, AND A RUST PROBLEM ON INSIDE CORNERS OF THE REAR DOORS, THAT CHEVROLET (THE CORP). REFUSED TO FIX. IT HAS BEEN A "LEMON" IN MY MIND.

WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE INOPERATIVE UNLESS CONSUMER TURNS ON LEFT TURN SIGNAL OR WHEN STEERING WHEEL IS TILTED UPWARDS POSITION, OTHERWISE WIPERS DO NOT WORK. *AK
HEATER CORE FAILED, CAUSING THE WINDSHIELD TO FOG UP INSTANTLY, LIMITING VISIBILITY SEVERELY. DURING FIRST INCIDENT DRIVER WAS TRAVELING ON RT 17 AND WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD SAFELY. AT SECOND INCIDENT THE DRIVER WAS DRIVING TO WORK AND WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE TISSUES SO HE/SHE AND CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD. AND THE MOST CURRENT INCIDENT HAPPENED WHILE GOING UP A STEEP HILL.
AT FIRST FAN, HEATER, AIR CONDITIONER FAILURE, WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS THE FAN SWITCH. SECOND FAILURE, THE SWITCH WAS BURNED OUT AND A SHORT IN THE WIRING HARNESS WAS FOUND AND REPAIRED. THIRD FAILURE, DEALER SAID WIRING HARNESS NEEDED REPLACING BECAUSE IT MORE THAN JUST AN ISOLATED PROBLEM. HE DISCONNECTED THE SWITCH COMPLETELY AND INFORMED ME THAT THERE WOULD BE NO BLOWER. INITIALLY, THE BLOWER DID NOT WORK NOW THE BLOWER WORKS BUT THE INTERIOR LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON WHEN DOORS ARE OPENED BUT CAN BE TURNED ON MANUALLY.
HEATER CORE HAS BEEN REPLACED FIVE TIMES IN A ONE YEAR PERIOD. WHEN THE CORE FAILS, IT SPRAYS A MIST OVER THE WINDSHIELD. THE WINDSHIELD IS FOGGED OVER SO QUICKLY MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SEE. ALSO CONCERNED ABOUT THE EFFECTS OF INHALING ANTIFREEZE. THE LEAK STARTS SLOWLY, NOT SURE HOW LONG PASSENGERS ARE EXPOSED.
WHEN TURNING ON THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS THEY JUST WORK FOR A FEW MINUTES THEN STOP WHILE WIPERS STILL ON. CONSUMER SAID DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED. *AK

UPON MAKING A STOP THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO DEPRESS, CAUSING EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE AND LOSS OF BRAKE EFFECTIVNESS. IN ADDITION, THE LOCATION AND THE DESIGN OF THE HORN MAKES IT DIFFICULT IN AN EMERGENCY TO LOCATE AND DEPRESS THE HORN. ALSO, DUE TO THE SHAPE OF THE WINDSHIELD THERE IS A STRONG REFLECTION OF THE FRONT SECTION WHICH IS VERY BAD DURING CERTAIN DAYLIGHT CONDITIONS. *AK
