PURCHASED PANTERA AT SUPER TRACK LT 2651 70R16 121/1185 TIRES OCT 2019, IN JAN OR FEB OF 2020 DRIVERS LEFT FRONT BUBBLED WAS REPLACED BY BIG BRAND TIRE, IN SEPT. 2020 ON THE 30TH, RIGHT. BACK TIRE BUBBLED, THEN BLEW OUT AS I WAS DRIVING. AS I PURCHASED FOUR I WANT THE OTHER TWO REPLACED.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500 EQUIPPED WITH A TOYO TIRES, TIRE LINE: OPEN COUNTRY H/T TUFF DUTY, TIRE SIZE: LT245/75 R16 120R, AND DOT NUMBER: FW5TTYL0215. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE TIRE BLEW OUT. THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE WAS SWAYING AND WENT ACROSS TWO LANES. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND IT WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TIRE WAS A REPLACEMENT TIRES. THE APPROXIMATE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 76,000 AND THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.

WE WERE TRAVELING EAST ON INTERSTATE 94 NEAR CAMP DOUGLAS, WI. WE EXPERIENCED A COMPLETE TIRE FAILURE. IT APPEARS TO BE PLY-SEPARATION. WE CONTACTED THE TIRE DEALER BY PHONE, BUT THEY SAID THE TIRE WAS NOT ON RECALL. I WROTE THE COMPANY DIRECTLY, BUT DID NOT EVEN GET A RESPONSE. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO DRIVE AWKWARDLY. THE CONTACT MOVED OFF THE ROADWAY AND DISCOVERED THAT THE TIRES WERE FLAT. HE THEN TRIED TO REMOVE THE SPARE TIRE FROM THE VEHICLE BUT TO NO AVAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S HOME AND THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND A COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO ADVISED HIM TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER SO THAT THE DEALER COULD SHOW HIM HOW TO REMOVE THE SPARE TIRE. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 46,000. THE CONSUMER STATED THE JACK IS UNSTABLE. THE TIRE WOULD NOT RELEASE FROM THE SECONDARY LATCH SYSTEM. *JS

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500 EQUIPPED WITH TOYO OPEN COUNTRY ALL TERRAIN TIRES, LINE SIZE 37X13.5R20 DOT 73TEC7N2312. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRE SIDE WALLS WERE SEPARATING. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT ONE OF THE TIRES WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE SINCE THEY BELIEVED THE TIRES WERE NOT DEFECTIVE.THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

WE PURCHASED A SET OF BF GOODRICH TIRES ON 5-16-2009. THE 1ST INCIDENT OCCURRED 7-11, DRIVING HOME NOTICED A BAD THUMPING SENSATION IN THE RIGHT REAR TIRE. PULLED OVER AND NOTICED THE TIRE HAD A BUBBLE IN THE CENTER OF THE TREAD, SO PULLED OVER AND CHANGED TIRE. SO ON 7-29-11 I PURCHASED 2 NEW TIRES TO REPLACE THIS BAD ONE. THE 2ND INCIDENT TOOK PLACE ON 5-11-12 WAS A BLOW OUT AND NO WARNING. SO I CHANGED THIS TIRE AS WELL.ON THE SAME DAY I FELT A THUMPING SENSATION SO PULLED OVER AND NOTICED THE LEFT REAR TIRES HAD A BUBBLE. SO OF THE 4 TIRES PURCHASED 3 OF THEM WENT BAD. I PULLED THE OTHER TIRE OF MY TRUCK AND PURCHASED 2 NEW TIRES ON 5-12-12. I SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT TO BF GOODRICH TO SEE IF THEY WOULD EITHER COVER THE COST OF THE NEW TIRES OR THE DAMAGE TO MY TRUCK. NEEDLESS TO SAY THE CLAIM WAS DENIED. I PROVIDED THEM WITH ALL OF THE MAINTENANCE PAPERWORK SHOWING THE TIRES WERE ROTATED ON A REGULAR BASIS AND THE PRESSURE WAS CHECKED ON A REGULAR BASIS. THEIR ANSWER WAS THE TIRES WERE RUN ON A 'RUNFLAT" CONDITION. THAT THE TIRES WERE RUN ON IN A FLAT CONDITION. NOW HOW COULD ANYONE POSSIBLY DRIVE DOWN THE FREEWAY WITH NO AIR IN THEIR TIRES. AND HOW WOULD 3 TIRES SO FAR GO BAD. *TR

WITHIN A FEW HUNDRED MILES OF PURCHASING THESE NITTO TRAIL GRAPPLER TIRES ABNORMAL WEAR BEGAN TO APPEAR. THIS ABNORMAL WEAR IS BEST DESCRIBED AS CRUMBLING. THERE ARE CERTAIN AREAS OR THE TIRE THAT THE TREAD IS CRUMBLING APART. AS MILEAGE ON TIRE INCREASES THE CRUMBLING GETS WORSE. AFTER FIRST ROTAION OF TIRES AT APPROX 3500MILES THE TIRES ARE STEADILY DEGRADING. THIS COULD RESULT IN BLOWOUT OR TREAD/TIRE SEPERATION CAUSEING A SEVER VEHICLE ACCIDENT. TWO MONTHS OF TRYING TO GET THIS RESOLVED WITH THE SHOP AND NITTO HAVE RESULTED IN NO REPLACEMENT OF TIRES. COMPANY HAS CLAIMED THESE TIRES AREN'T MEANT FOR THE VEHICLE AND THE OWNER HAS ABUSED THE TIRES. THE TIRES HAVE BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND NOT ABUSED IN ANYWAY. VEHICLE THAT WEARS THESE TIRES ARE UNDER THE RECOMMENED APPLICATION ACCORDING TO SPECS. THE VEHICLE IS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500HD 4X4. TIRES ARE NITTO TRAIL GRAPPLER 35X12.50R20 LOAD RANGE "E" 10 PLY. RIMS ARE 20X8.5 MB MOTORSPORTS. PRESSURE IN TIRES 60PSI. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500HD WITH KUMHO ROAD VENTURE TIRES, LINE SIZE 245/75R/16. THE CONTACT STATED THAT BOTH OF THE FRONT TIRES HAD BLISTERS ON THE INSIDE WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO LUNGE FORWARD AND IT RESPONDED AS IF HE WAS LOOSING CONTROL OF IT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO CONFIRMED THAT THE TIRES WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE DOT NUMBER WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 54,000.

THIS IS A REPORT OF FAILURE OF CHEVROLET VEHICLE DEALERSHIP SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE FOR 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO TRUCK 2500HD. ON AUGUST 16, 2010 THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP FOR GMC PRODUCTS FAILED TO PERFORM REQUIRED MAINTENANCE ON MY VEHICLE. AS PART MAINTENANCE LEVEL II SPECIFICATIONS, RESETTING TIRE PRESSURES AFTER TIRE ROTATION AND LUBRICATION OF FITTINGS AND BODY COMPONENTS IS NOT ACCOMPLISHED BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. INTERNAL VEHICLE MONITORING OF TIRE PRESSURES THE FRONT TIRES INDICATES 85 AND 87 PSI. VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRE 60 PSI IN BOTH FRONT TIRES. THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT OVER INFLATED BOTH FRONT TIRES 25 AND 27 PSI. THESE TIRES PRESSURES ARE VERIFIED WITH AN EXTERNAL HAND HELP PRESSURE GAGE DONE BY THE OWNER AFTER THE VEHICLE SAT FOR MORE THAN THREE HOURS. REFUND OF REMITTANCE PAID FOR SERVICES NOT PERFORMED IS REQUESTED BUT ALSO IS NOT ACCOMPLISHED BY THE DEALERSHIP. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN, THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND MADE THE VEHICLE DIFFICULT TO STEER. THE ENTIRE VEHICLE IS ALSO VERY DIFFICULT TO KEEP ON THE ROAD. THE FRONT TIRES MADE A CLUNKING NOISE WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN. THE VEHICLE HAS BRIDGESTONE DURAVIS M7732 TIRES, SIZE 245/75/R16. THERE IS A CLUNKING NOISE UNDER THE HOOD, WHICH CAN BE FELT IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE DRIVING. THE ENGINE ALSO HESITATES WHILE DRIVING. A MECHANIC AND THE DEALER PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM REQUIRES A PRESSURE OF 80 PSI IN THE REAR TIRES OF THE TRUCK. THIS IS VERY EXCESSIVE UNLESS YOU ARE HAULING A VERY HEAVY LOAD. UNLOADED, THIS CAUSES A DONUT SHAPED TIRE AND CAUSES SEVERE CUPPING IN THE TIRE WEAR. GM WILL NOT LOWER THE THRESHOLD AT THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THIS ALSO CREATES AN ISSUE IF DIFFERENT TIRES ARE PUT ON THE VEHICLE THAT REQUIRE A LOWER PSI. LOAD RANGE D TIRES REQUIRE LESS THAN 65 PSI, SO EVEN AT MAX PSI THESE TIRES ARE OVER INFLATED. WITH EITHER TIRE, THE THRESHOLD IS TOO HIGH. THE SYSTEM TELLS YOU THAT YOU HAVE LOW TIRE PRESSURE IF YOU INFLATE THE TIRES TO A PROPER UNLOADED PRESSURE. AT THE SUGGESTED PRESSURE, NOT ONLY IS TIRE WEAR GREATLY INTENSIFIED AND UNEVEN, ONLY THE CENTER PART OF THE TIRE MAKES GROUND CONTACT CAUSING EASY TRACTION LOSS IN THE REAR END, ESPECIALLY IN WET CONDITIONS. THIS HIGH OF A PRESSURE UNLOADED ALSO CAUSES AN EVEN HARSHER RIDE THAN NORMAL. TAKING THIS ISSUE TO THE DEALER (MCLARTY IN HUNTSVILLE) TO GET A PROPER THRESHOLD SET RESULTED IN A RUN AROUND. NOT ONLY DO I LOSE MY ABILITY TO KNOW IF I HAVE A FLAT TIRE (SYSTEM ALWAYS SHOWS A LOW PRESSURE), I LOSE MY ABILITY TO PUT ON A BETTER QUALITY THAN STOCK TIRE (WHICH REQUIRES LESS THAN GM REQUIRED 80 PSI TO NOT SET OFF THE TPMS ALERTS), AND MY TIRES WEAR ABNORMALLY AND VERY QUICKLY. ALSO MY TRACTION IS VERY LIMITED WHEN NOT TOWING A LOAD. THE CUSTOMER SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO ADJUST FOR THE TIRE PRESSURES THAT APPLY TO THEIR APPLICATION. I HAVE ALREADY RUINED ONE SET OF STOCK SIZED TIRES THAT WERE OVER INFLATED. THIS IS A GM PROBLEM THAT KEEPS GETTING FLUSHED DOWN THE DRAIN. *TR

I PURCHASED A NEW 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500HD FROM DEWEY BARBER CHEVROLET AUGUST 2008. AFTER THE FIRST TIRE ROTATION (APPROX 5,000 MILES) THE SERVICE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM MESSAGE DISPLAYS ONTO THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP TO RELEARN THE TPMS AS OUTLINED IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL BUT THE SYSTEM WILL NOT RESET. I CARRIED THE TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALER (2 TIMES) AND THEY RESET THE TPMS HOWEVER THEY DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I JUST ROTATED THE TIRES AGAIN AND THE SERVICE TPMS DISPLAYS AGAIN. I CARRIED IT BACK AND THEY KEPT THE TRUCK 3 DAYS. THEY REPLACED 2 SENSORS, REPROGRAMMED THE COMPUTER AND REPLACED A MULTI-DOOR MODULE THAT DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THE SERVICE MANAGER CALLED ME BACK TODAY AND SAID THEY CONTACT GM AND NO FIX IS AVAILABLE. THIS SHOULD BE FIXED. IT REPORTS THE WRONG TIRE INFLATION THROUGH THE ON*STAR SERVICE THAT I PAY A SUBSCRIPTION NOT TO MENTION TAKING THE TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALER EVERY TIME I HAVE THE TIRES ROTATED. ALSO, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DISPLAYS THIS MESSAGE EVER TIME THE IGNITION IS TURNED ON. YOUR ATTENTION WITH REGARD TO THIS MATTER IS APPRECIATED. *TR

THE DEALER STATED THAT HE COULD ADJUST THE PRESSURE, BUT THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED UNTIL THE CORRECT AIR PRESSURE WAS PLACED BACK IN THE TIRES. THE CONTACT FEELS THAT HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO ADJUST THE PRESSURE WITHOUT THE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 5 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
