THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILED. *JB
I AM CONCERNED THAT THERE MAY BE A RECALL TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM BECAUSE WHEN WE TURN ON THE HEADLIGHTS THE RADIO WOULD TURN OFF. NOW THE RADIO JUST WONT TURN ON AT ALL. THE RADIO IS ORIGINAL TO THE VEHICLE. ALSO THE BUILT IN EQUALIZER TURNED OFF WHEN THE HEADLIGHTS TURNED ON AND IT ALSO HAS COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING.

CONSUMER ATTEMPTS TO START VEHICLE AND STARTER WILL CLICK THREE TIMES BEFORE ENGINE WILL TURN OVER. THERE HAS BEEN NO DETERMINATION AS TO REASON FOR THIS NOISE OCCURRING. *AK THIS IS A CUSTOM ORDERED VEHICLE, CONSUMER WAS TOLD THAT HIS VIIN NUMBER DID NOT APPLY EVEN THOUGH HIS VEHICLE IS EXPERIENCING SAME PROBLEMS AS OTHER VEHICLES THAT ARE INCLUDED IN RECALL.*JB
CLICKING SOUND EVERY TIME IGNITION IS STARTED,IT HAPPENS UNDERNEATH DASHBOARD WHERE RECIRCULATION IS. HAS NOT CONTACTED DEALER YET.*AK
INTERMITTENTLY VEHICLE WOULD STALL OUT AND DIE WITHOUT WARNING. DEALER HAS REPAIRED FUEL PUMP AND THE PROBLEM HAS REOCCURRED. CHEVROLET HAS EXTENDED THE WARRANTY ON THESE VEHICLES AND THE CONSUMER IS REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPAIRING THE FAULTY FUEL PUMP, IN THE EXTENDED WARRANTY LETTER C00064, IT STATES THAT IF THE PUMP WAS REPAIRED OR REPLACED WITH LESS THAN 120000 MILES OR BEFORE 11 YEARS, CONSUMER SHOULD SEEK REIMBURSEMENT FROM DEALER. CONSUMER ALSO HAD REGULATER REPLACED. *AK *SLC
CLEARED CODES OFF OF DRIVER BOX, NOW VEHICLE IS SURGING WHEN IDLYING. *SLC
WHILE TRUCK WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY WITH IGNITION OFF EMERGENCY PARKING BRAKE ENGAGED. SOMEHOW TRUCK STARTED BY ITSELF AND DROVE RIGHT THROUGH GARAGE DOOR. DRIVEWAY WAS A FLAT SURFACE. ALSO, THERE WAS SOME SORT OF ELECTRICAL SMELL COMING FROM TRUCK. AS A SAFETY MEASURE OWNER HAS DISCONNECTED BATTERY. CHEVROLET HAS BEEN CONTACTED ABOUT THE PROBLEM. OWNER WAS WAITING FOR A RESPONSE. WHILE DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE. FIRE DEPARTMENT AND POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE NOTIFIED. SMOKE AND FLAMES WERE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD AREA, THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VECHICLE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY PERFORMED TEST, SUCH AS SBDS CHECK LOAD TEST AND A BATTERY TEST. THE DEALERSHIP STATED TO THE CONSUMER THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF A NO FIRE INSIDE OF VEHICLE. *AK
ONGOING/INTERMITENT PROBLEM WITH IGNITION SWITCH NOT BEING ABLE TO TURN OFF UNLESS CONSUMER MOVES SIGNAL LEVER. DEALER/ MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED AT THIS TIME. *AK
AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY FOR THREE HOURS A FIRE STARTED IN VEHICLE, LOCATION AND CAUSE HAS NOT BEEN DETERMINED. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
THE CONSUMER HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH ELECTRICAL COMPUTER SYSTEM. WHILE DRIVIN POWER SHUTS COMPLETELY OFF. VEHICLE HAS SHUT OFF ON TWO OCCASIONS WHILE DRIVING. THE MANUFACTURER HAS YET TO BE CONTACTED. *AK
