FOR SEVERAL YEARS THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WOULD GO OFF AND ON INTERMITTENTLY. NOW, THEY ARE MOSTLY OFF WHICH MEANS I CANNOT DRIVE MY VEHICLE AT NIGHT ANYMORE UNLESS I WANT TO BLIND PEOPLE OR GET STOPPED. I HAVE CHANGED HEADLAMPS, RELAYS AND FUSES TO NO AVAIL. NOW, I SEE THAT MANY OTHERS WITH THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL SUV HAVE BEEN HAVING THE SAME ISSUE BUT NO RECALLS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS YEAR MODEL. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WHEN WE HAVE TO DRIVE WITH THE HIGH BEAMS ON AND WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OFF UNEXPECTEDLY. IF YOU WILL ISSUE A RECALL FOR ONE YEAR MODEL HAVING A PARTICULAR ISSUE, WHY WOULD YOU NOT DO THE SAME WITH ALL YEAR MODELS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE? COME ON CHEVROLET AND NHTSA, LET'S GET THIS PROBLEM SOLVED TO SAVE SOME LIVES. IT IS VERY SCARY TO BE DRIVING AND HAVE YOUR HEADLIGHTS GO OUT AND A MAJOR PAIN TO HAVE TO BE SURE YOU ARE HOME BY DARK OR NOT BE ABLE TO GO OUT AFTER DARK BECAUSE YOUR HEADLAMPS ARE OR MAY STOP WORKING.

BEFORE I CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP THEY TURNED ON AND STAYED ON. I HAVEN'T DRIVEN IN THE DARK A LONG DISTANCE UNTIL THE OTHER NIGHT. MY HEADLIGHTS MAY HAVE BEEN TURNING OFF AND ON IN THE DAYLIGHT WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. I CHECKED AND THERE WASN'T ANY OPEN RECALLS. I HAVE CHANGED THE HEADLIGHT RELAY #46, BIT IT ONLY FIXED THE PROBLEM FOR A WEEK. AGAIN THE LIGHTS WILL GO OUT AFTER DRIVING SEVERAL MINUTES. I NOTICED THERE IS A RECALL FOR A SIMILAR ISSUE ON THE 2006 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. COULD THIS BE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY VEHICLE. THERE ARE ALSO MULTIPLE FORUMS EXPLAINING THE SAME EXACT ISSUE WITH EARLY 2000 MODEL TRAILBLAZERS. THIS ISSUE HAPPENED APPROX 6 MONTHS AGO. LAST WEEK WE RAN INTO ANOTHER PROBLEM. OUR ABS LIGHT COMES ON PERIODICALLY. LIKE THE HEADLIGHTS GOING OUT, THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME ANYWHERE FROM 10 MINUTES TO 30 MINUTES. AGAIN, I FEEL IT ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS/WIRING IS OVERHEATING AND CAUSING THESE ISSUES. I FEEL THERE SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL FOR THIS THIS ISSUE AS IT IS AFFECTING HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS USA WIDE.

AGAIN LOOKED UP AND FOUND THERE WAS A RECALL, BUT ONLY 2006 VEHICLES 3)BRAKES BURN OUT OF ROTORS ONLY ON RIGHTSIDE- LEFT SIDE ROTORS WERE FINE, BRAKE JOB WITH REPLACEMENT OF 2 LEFT ROTORS I FRONT PISTON AMD ALL 8 PADS 650.00. FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREET 4) FAILURE OF IGNITION SWITCH WITH ERRATIC ELECTRICAL FUNCTION OF RUNNING LIGHTS, RADIO AND DASHBOARD INSTRUMENTATION. HAPPENED ON THE ROAD EARLY TWILIGHT VERY DANGEROUS HAD TO GET A LOCAL TOLL FOR 75.00 ALL OF THESE FAILURES HAVE MADE ME VERY WARY OF DRIVING THIS VEHICLE. WHILE DRIVING SOUTHBOUND ON I-75 IN MICHIGAN AT APPROXIMATELY 9:10 PM ON AUGUST 16, 2015, THE LOW BEAM HEAD LIGHTS WENT OUT NEAR MILE MARKER 180. THE HIGH BEAM LIGHTS AND RUNNING LIGHTS CONTINUED TO WORK. THE LOW BEAM LIGHTS REMAINED OFF UNTIL AFTER I EXITED I-75 AT THE SOUTHBOUND 155 EXIT. AFTER LEAVING THE EXIT AND DRIVING AN ADDITIONAL 4 MILES, I AGAIN TRIED THE LOW BEAMS AND THEY WORKED. I LATER GOT BACK INTO THE VEHICLE (AFTER IT WAS OFF FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES) AND THE LOW BEAM LIGHTS WERE AGAIN OFF. THEY WOULD NOT COME BACK ON AND I LEFT THE VEHICLE. THE FOLLOWING MORNING, THE LOW BEAM LIGHTS WERE FUNCTIONING AGAIN. THIS SITUATION HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE EXECUTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICE AT GM AND THEY HAVE STATED THAT THERE IS NOT A CURRENT RECALL AND THEREFORE THEY WILL NOT REPAIR IT.

THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT ON MY 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER TURN OFF WHILE I AM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WITH NO NOTICE. THE FIRST TIME THIS OCCURRED WAS ON LAWNDALE/7 MILE ROAD IN SAGINAW COUNTY MICHIGAN IN JUNE 2014. THE INCIDENT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE, MOST RECENTLY ON 8/8/15 ON GREENWOOD ROAD IN ALGER MI. THE LOW BEAM LIGHTS GO OUT FOR NO REASON AND CANNOT BE TURNED BACK ON. THE HIGH BEAM LIGHTS WILL WORK. THE LOW BEAM LIGHTS WILL LATER TURN ON ON THEIR OWN. IT GENERALLY TAKES SEVERAL MINUTES BEFORE THIS HAPPENS. SEVERAL TIMES THIS HAS OCCURRED ON DARK, COUNTY ROADS WHICH INCREASE THE DANGER TO THE OCCUPANTS OF MY VEHICLE AND OTHER PASSENGERS ON THE ROAD. I HAVE CONTACTED GM AND THEIR EXECUTIVE OFFICE AND WAS INFORMED THAT WHILE THE ISSUE IS A RECALL FOR THE 2006 MODEL YEAR, BECAUSE MY VEHICLE WAS BUILT IN JUNE 2005 IT IS NOT COVERED.

I HAVE HAD THE INSPECTION COMPLETED MULTIPLE TIMES WITH A MECHANIC RE-ASSURING THE ISSUE ALTHOUGH IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING FREQUENTLY. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON ALL THE TIME DUE TO COMPUTER ERROR AND IS A $500.00 FIX. LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS HAVE FLASHED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS IN THE PAST. ON THE NIGHT OF OCTOBER 2, 2014, WHILE DRIVING HOME WITH MY ENTIRE FAMILY IN THE CAR, THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT COMPLETELY. I TURNED ON MY FOG LAMPS TO GET HOME. I CHECKED ALL FUSES AND RELAYS AND THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS. I ALSO TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC, WHO SECURED A LOOSE GROUND WIRE. THIS DID NOT HELP. I WENT INTO TOWN TO GRAB DINNER AND AS I AM DRIVING ALONG, MY HEADLIGHTS SHUT OFF. THE ONLY THING THAT REMAINED ON, WERE THE ORANGE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS. I FRANTICALLY TURNED THE HEADLIGHT KNOB ON AN OFF AND NOTHING HAPPENED. I WAS LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO TURN OFF THE HIGHWAY, HOWEVER IT WAS NIGHT TIME AND I HAD NO HEADLIGHTS. I ENDED UP PULLING OVER TO THE GRAVEL SIDE OF THE ROAD, AND TURNED THE CAR OFF. NOW I AM STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT TIME, WITH NO WORKING HEADLIGHTS. I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND GOT OUT, TAPPED THE HEADLIGHTS AND LOOKED FOR ANY PHYSICAL DAMAGE AND DID NOT FIND AN ANSWER. UPON STARTING THE CAR AGAIN, IT SOUNDED LIKE SOMEONE HAD TURNED ON A VACUUM CLEANER. THE NOISE PITCHED UP FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS BEFORE PITCHING BACK DOWN. AFTER RE-STARTING THE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE MOVED FROM ITS NORMAL POSITION AT "12 O'CLOCK" TO AN ABNORMAL "6 O'CLOCK". I TRIED TO CALL ONSTAR FOR A VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC, HOWEVER NOW MY RADIO WOULD NOT WORK EITHER. I TRIED THE HEADLIGHTS AGAIN, AND THEY STILL WOULD NOT TURN ON. I TURNED ON MY HIGH BEAMS, AND PROCEEDED BACK HOME. WHILE EN ROUTE MY SPEEDOMETER WAS READING 10MPH OVER MY ACTUAL SPEED. WHEN I PULLED INTO MY DRIVEWAY AND TURNED THE CAR OFF, THE SPEEDOMETER STAYED AT 10MPH. I FIND IT VERY HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ALL OF THESE THINGS HAPPENED ALL AT ONCE AS A COINCIDENCE. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN AS I LOST THE ABILITY TO SEE AT NIGHT, AS WELL AS THE ABILITY TO MONITOR MY SPEED ALL WHILE TRYING TO DRIVE. YOU CAN HEAR THE POWER WINDOWS AND DOOR LOCKS MAKE A CLICKING SOUND AS IF THEY ARE BEING ENGAGED WITHOUT BEING OPERATED. THE SPEAKERS IN THE DOORS DO NOT WORK AFTER IT RAINS OR IN VERY HUMID CONDITIONS. THE POWER WINDOWS AND DOOR LOCK BUTTON LIGHTS WORK ON AND OFF AND BLINK. THE DOOR/KEY CHIME RARELY WORKS. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THERE IS A SERIOUS ISSUE REGARDING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OF THIS MODEL. I RECENTLY HEARD ABOUT THE RECALL STARTING WITH 2006 MODELS WITH ELECTRICAL ISSUES AND I REALLY BELIEVE THIS PROBLEM IS NOT JUST ISOLATED TO THE ELECTRONICS IN THE DOOR, BUT THE OVERALL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IN THESE VEHICLES. CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS I HAVE RESEARCHED ONLINE IT SEEMS THAT THESE ARE COMMON PROBLEMS WITH THESE VEHICLES. FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS THE GAS GAUGE, SPEEDOMETER, AND OIL PRESSURE GAGE DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. I CAN BE STOPPED AND THE SPEEDOMETER WILL SHOW I AM GOING X MPH. IT VARIES ON THE AMOUNT OF MILES THE SPEEDOMETER IS OFF. THE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE ALWAYS SITS BELOW THE LOW LINE. THE GAS GAUGE IS NOT CORRECT BUT DOES MOVE. THIS VEHICLE IS A PEACE OF JUNK.

AFTER DRIVING FOR A WHILE, IT EVENTUALLY GOES OFF, BUT THE FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT REGISTER MORE THAN A 1/4 OF A TANK EVEN WHEN FILLED UP AND THE WARNING MESSAGE COMES ON ALONG WITH THE LOW FUEL INDICATOR AS SOON AS I START THE TRUCK AFTER FILLING THE TANK AND WHEN THE TRUCK IS IDLING, THE LOW FUEL MESSAGE AND LIGHT COME ON. ANOTHER ISSUE WITH THE TRUCK IS THAT THE LIGHTING SYSTEM DIMS WHILE DRIVING AND WHEN I BOUGHT THIS ISSUE UP AT THE DEALERSHIP, THEY SAID IT WAS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE TRUCK, BUT DID NOTHING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD BANGING NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. SHE PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND NOTICED THAT THE PLASTIC COVERING DETACHED ON THE BRAKE LIGHT, WHICH WAS LOCATED ON THE REAR LIFTGATE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SAFELY PLACE THE PIECE BACK ON, BUT THE WIRES WERE EXPOSED. THE PIECE IS NOT SAFELY IN PLACE BECAUSE IT IS BEING HELD TOGETHER BY DUCT TAPE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT PROVIDE COMPENSATION BECAUSE THE FAILURE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 33,500.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILED AT LEAST THREE TIMES IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. REPAIRS WERE MADE UNDER WARRANTY; HOWEVER, THE LAST FAILURE WAS THE CONTACT'S LIABILITY. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION, SHE HEARD A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THERE WAS A PINCHED WIRE ISSUE WITH THAT PARTICULAR YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL VEHICLE THAT COULD AFFECT OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. THE DEALER MADE REPAIRS, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED WITHIN 48 HOURS. THE DEALER FOUND WIRING IN A DIFFERENT AREA THAT FAILED AND SUBSEQUENTLY CAUSED THE FAILURE OF THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. IN ADDITION, THE EXTERIOR LIGHTS FLICKERED INTERMITTENTLY, BUT THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE WIRING WOULD NOT CAUSE THAT PARTICULAR FAILURE. THE VIN WAS PROVIDED, BUT WAS NOT ACCEPTED BY THE SYSTEM. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE LESS THAN 43,000.

THE SPEEDOMETER STICKS AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. SOMETIMES IT SHOWS *BELOW* ZERO WHEN I'M MOVING. LAST NIGHT, I WAS TRAVELING AT APPROX. 65-70MPH, I ASSUME, BUT THE SPEEDOMETER WAS STUCK AT 30. WHEN DECELERATING, THE SPEEDOMETER WILL STICK AT CERTAIN SPEEDS, AND THEN JERK DOWN SUDDENLY. MY TRAILBLAZER ONLY HAS ABOUT 53,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE SEEN REPORTS OF THIS ISSUE BEGINNING AT 30K, BUT MOST KICK IN AT AROUND 50K. I AM CALLING THE SHOP TODAY. FROM WHAT I'VE READ, IT'S RELATED TO A FAULTY STEPPER MOTOR. MASSIVE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS WITH CHEVY TRAILBLAZER 1. WHILE GOING 10 MILES AN HOUR, THE SPEEDOMETER JUMPS TO 120MPH THEN TO 50MPH THEN TO 120MPH AGAIN. 2. WHEN I FILL UP WITH GAS, THE GAS GAUGE STATES THAT THE TANK IS STILL EMPTY THEN MOVES TO FULL THEN TO A 1/4 THEN TO FULL THEN TO HALF ETC... 3. WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, MY HEADLIGHTS GO HIGHBEAM TO LOW BEAM AS IF I AM MANUALLY FLASHING MY LIGHTS AT OTHER CARS. I HAVE READ ON THE INTERNET WHERE THIS IS HAPPENING TO MANY MANY PEOPLE WITH THIS SAME MODEL OF CHEVROLET SUV AND THAT GM REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. -I CALLED GM AND ADVISED THEM OF THE ENTIRE ISSUE. THEY ADVISED ME TO GO TO A DEALERSHIP AND HAVE THEM RUN A DIAGNOSTIC AS THIS WAS NEEDED BEFORE THEY COULD HELP ME. -I WENT TO THE DEALER AND PAID $115 FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC, NEEDLESS TO SAY THE REPAIRS THAT THE DEALER FOUND RANGER OVER $3000.00 DOLLARS. -I THEN CALLED GM BACK AND THEY TOOK THE INFORMATION THAT THE DEALER GAVE ME (DONNA AT 1-866-790-5700 X21153) -I JUST GOT A CALL BACK FROM GM STATING THAT BECAUSE OF THE MILEAGE ON THE SUV THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING (THEY KNEW ABOUT THE MILEAGE BEFORE THEY SENT ME TO THE DEALERSHIP!). SPEEDOMETER ON MY TRAILBLAZER SHOWED A WILDLY INACCURATE SPEED READING. THIS READING WAS VERY LOW AND COULD HAVE RESULTED IN A SPEEDING/ SAFETY SITUATION. THE SPEEDOMETER COULD GIVE A FALSE READING ALLOWING THE DRIVER TO ENTER A CURVE OR CITY AT AN UNSAFE SPEED. AT A STOPLIGHT THE NEEDLE POINTED STRAIGHT DOWN INSTEAD OF ZERO. I CONTACTED GM WHO INFORMED ME THAT THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH COMPLAINTS ON THIS SPECIFIC MODEL TO WARRANT A RECALL. AS I UNDERSTAND IT THE COMPONENTS CAUSING THE FAILURE IN THE MODELS BEING RECALLED ARE THE SAME AS THOSE IN TRAILBLAZERS. MY VEHICLE ALSO HAS THE DIMMING/FLICKERING LIGHTS AT NIGHT. IN MARCH 2007 THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYED ON . I TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT. IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE SECONDARY AIR PUMP EITHER CLOGGED, NOT RUNNING OR SOMETHING ELECTRICAL WITH IT. EVER SINCE THEN ALL THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR LIGHTS BECAME BRIGHT THEN DIMMED FOR A FEW MINUTES WHEN I START THE VEHICLE. AFTER LEAVING FOR WORK AND STOPPING THE VEHICLE TO TURN, AND THEN AGAIN A FEW MILES DOWN THE ROAD, THE HEADLAMPS STARTED TO FLICKER. SOMETIMES IT FLICKERED A FEW MORE TIMES BEFORE I GOT TO WORK , ONLY 25 MINUTES FROM HOME. I HAVE NOTICED THE BATTERY GAUGE FLUCTUATED WHILE THIS IS HAPPENED. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS WAS NORMAL. IT DIDN'T WORK ON 5, BUT IT DID BLOW SOME ON THE OTHER LEVELS, AND THAT VARIED TOO. I HAVE HAD THE AIR CONDITIONING RECHARGED, TO NO AVAIL, IT ACTED LIKE THERE WAS A LEAK SOMEWHERE. THE HEADLIGHTS WILL DIM WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE. THIS CAN OCCUR WHEN IDLING BUT MOSTLY HAPPENS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES AND TWO DIFFERENT DEALERS HAVE CHECKED THE PROBLEM AND PERFORMED ALL APPLICABLE TSBS AND REPLACED THE BCM WITH NO DIFFERENCE IN THE PROBLEM. 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER - VEHICLE HEADLIGHTS INTERMITTENTLY FLICKER WHILE OPERATING. CONDITION EXISTS EVERY TIME THE VEHICLE IS OPERATED RESULTING IN A SAFETY HAZARD TO BOTH THE DRIVER, OCCUPANTS AND OTHER MOTORISTS. CHEVROLET REPRESENTATIVES HAVE REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR/GENERATOR, AIR PUMP AND FIXED A POTENTIAL ELECTRICAL GROUND WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS. NIGHT DRIVING UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES THE VEHICLE A CHEVROLET TRAILBLZER LS 2005 HAS A PROBLEM THAT RANDOMLY SHUTS OFF THE HEADLIGHTS AND DASHBOARD LIGHTS. THE TRAILBLAZER DECIDES TO DO THIS TOTALLY ON ITS OWN AT RANDOM. THIS CAUSES A POTENTIALLY DEADLY SITUATION WHEN ON THE INTERSTATE AND YOUR HEADLIGHTS GO OUT AND DECIDE TO COME BACK ON AT RANDOM INTERVALS MAYBE APROXIMATELY 15 TO 20 SECONDS APART. SEVERAL ATTEMPS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP TO GET THE PROBLEM REPAIRED. THEIR COMMENT IS THAT THEY EITHER CANNOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM OR THEIR IS A SERVICE BULLETIN THAT EXPLAINS THE ISSUE. I HAVE DONE THE PROCEDURES THAT THE DEALERSHIP DESCRIBED IN THE SERVICE BULLETINS WITH NO SUCCESS. CURRENTLY MY TRAILBLAZER IS BEING REPAIRED ONCE AGAIN AT TERRY LEE CHEVROLET AS OF 12-19-06. THE LAST TIME THAT THE VEHICLE WAS IN FOR REPAIR TERRY LEE CHEVROLET REPLACED WHAT THEY HAD THOUGH WAS A FAULTY BODY CONTROL MODULE. REPLACING THIS MODULE OBVIOUSLY DID NOT RECTIFY THE PROBLEM AND ON THURSDAY 12-14-06 THE PROBLEM ONCE AGAIN RETURNED. SINCE THE VEHICLE IS USED TO TRANSPORT MY CHILDEREN AND WIFE WHO HAVE BEEN DRIVING PRIMARILY AT NIGHT. I HAVE BECOME SKEPTICAL ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THE VEHICLE IS SAFE TO ACTUALLY DRIVE AT NIGHT BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE LIGHTS WILL DECIDE TO TURN OFF BY THEMSELVES AND POTENTIALLY CAUSE THEM TO BE IN AN ACCIDENT. *NM

WHILE DRIVING MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER THE HEADLIGHTS GO OUT MOMENTARILY AND I ALSO NOTICE A FLICKERING ON THE DASH LIGHTS. THIS NORMALLY HAPPENS WITHIN THE FIRST 5 MINUTES OF DRIVING AND CONTINUES FOR THE 15 MINUTE COMMUTE. SO FAR I ONLY NOTICE THIS HAPPENING AT NIGHT. I NORMALLY DRIVE ABOUT 10 MILES EACH WAY TO WORK. I WORK 12 HOUR SHIFTS BOTH DAYS AND NIGHTS. AS A RESULT, I TEND TO HAVE TO DRIVE TO WORK AND HOME IN THE DARK. I AM WORRIED THAT THE SYSTEM WILL TOTALLY FAIL. FURTHERMORE, WHEN I AM DRIVING BEHIND PEOPLE AND THE HEADLIGHTS KEEP FLASHING AT THEM IT CAUSES ME TO WORRY THAT THEIR ATTENTION IS NOW FOCUSED ON MY HEADLIGHTS INSTEAD OF THE ROAD. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I HAD MY RADIO, REAR-DEFROST AND HEADLIGHTS ON. I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE BATTERY/CHARGING GAUGE DROPS BELOW 10V WHEN THIS HAPPENS. HOWEVER, THE SAME CONDITION HAS BEEN REPEATED WITH ONLY THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT RUNNING. FOR EXAMPLE, HEADLIGHTS, TAILLIGHTS, AND DASH LIGHTS, ALL OTHER EQUIPMENT OFF. I CURRENTLY HAVE BEEN DOING A SOME READING ON-LINE AND HAVE FOUND THAT MANY PEOPLE WHO OWN THE 2005 TRAILBLAZER HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH THEIR HEADLIGHTS.
