2023 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER Electrical System Problems

1/ while at the stop site, the car suddenly stopped and went black. Stereo turn off and screen went black. 2/ sometime I can’t unlock the car from inside. The lock works but not the unlock button. While backing or stopping there is a high noise that seems like I have a bad brake , took it to the dealership and they said the brake is good but they can’t figure out where the noise coming from. I took the car to the dealership 3 times in 1 month since the problem started and they still can not fix it.

The contact referenced an unknown recall which had a similar failure description; however, the contact was informed that the VIN was not under recall. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 51,174. The VIN was unavailable.

When I shift my vehicle into park and hit the button to shut it off, a "shift to park" message appears on the DIC screen. I then am required to start my vehicle again, shift into gear, and then put it back into park and attempt to shut the vehicle off again. It has taken me up to 15 minutes to be able to get it to recognize that my vehicle is in park and for the message to not pop up. If I get out of the car while the message is still on the DIC screen, I cannot lock my vehicle and it drains the battery. I contacted my local Chevrolet dealer and they are saying that although this is a known issue which has had more than one GM Service Bulletin on this issue which includes my year and model, there is not an actual recall for this, so I have to pay out of pocket, because my bumper to bumper warranty expired at 36,000 miles and I am currently just shy of 39,000 miles. Of note, there is also a class action lawsuit for this exact issue so I am confused as to why a recall would not have been issued, or why it would not still be covered despite the expired bumper to bumper warranty.

smudge on rear hatch above window, took to dlr they said maybe I did it. I was told to come back day after day and no record of these visits. When the fixed paint at their shop no paperwork. my radio screen scrambling, going blank, stop working, static sounds coming out, The ignition button wouldn’t turn off There was an update for the lane departure issue, the radio issue there is no current fix as per manufacturer the advisor informed me.[XXX] went dl show lt rear window, I had to N Cal. [XXX] at dlr [XXX] told me to bring 5th fix back window but the left rear window defect They told me they order that day! So my vehicle was at the dealership for approx 2 weeks [XXX] the day they called saying my car was ready to pickup I ask if the window was replaced yet etc. Ricky the advisor (nice guy) he tells me there’s nothing in the system about the window issue, he says he’ll tell his manager and call me back. He informs me the window was never ordered in nov and they just ordered Feb 22nd. I picked my vehicle up [XXX] and it’s still having radio system issues, starting or stopping issues. [XXX] window was replaced also tinted. The bubbles in the window tint Again yesterday the radio system wasn’t working properly, the speakers were static, display not operating, blackout, the lane departure has me all over the road! The push start doesn’t operate correctly (will not shut off, the other day the car continued to roll backwards after I put in park. Lunges when parking in garage The fact that I have been going in for various issues and there’s no records or notes in system showing this. I reviewed docs I have found the miles in/out were same so how could someone have test driven to duplicate my concerns? [XXX] I go in garage gas fumes filled the air, I thought it was pressure washer but I took it out and used fan to clear. While driving 65-70 MPH cruise control will continuously "bog" down and act like it is wanting to cut off the whole vehicle. transmission is starting to act like it is slipping to the point where I am going all the way to the steering wheel before it catches again. Vehicle is under 36,000 miles and should not be having transmission issues. Radio has been replaced once before but is now doing the same thing where it is not recognizing my phone, directions given to it by touch on screen, and will even completely turn off while in the middle of driving. Will freeze and then act like the screen has 'water' damage. back up camera is not calibrated correctly. It states that I have more than enough room to make a turn but when looking into my mirrors, it is off by almost a foot and a half. I was in a car accident due to the back up camera malfunction with the difference in distance and with the screen malfunctioning. I have had the vehicle inspected by the chevy dealership multiple times and they have stated that there is nothing coming up on the code reader. The vehicle is available for inspection. My children ride in this vehicle and after the accident, I do not deem it quite safe with the malfunctioning parts. There has not been any lights coming on for the issues but the issues are there.

The vehicle almost caused me to collide with another vehicle when I was trying to get into right lane it kept pushing back into left fast lane, this happened throughout the drive to and from Northern California. car got horrible gas mileage, wasn’t operating correctly at times, my radio screen scrambling, going blank, stop working, static cracking sounds coming out. Every time I started the car it would not connect to iphone by any means. ignition button wouldn’t turn off, I had to push numerous times to turn off. There was an update for the lane departure issue, the radio issue there is no current fix as per manufacturer the service advisor informed me. I have looked up online recalls and see that there are many manufacturer correspondence for problems with this vehicle.Today there’s knocking coming from engine like there’s something wrong with lifters also burning smell inside vehicle.

My 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is about 3 months old and it’s been making squeaky noises when I break. The squeaky sound is getting worse over time and I have an appointment scheduled with Chevrolet to get this resolved. My concern is a 2022 recall on this same vehicle due to the break system. Therefore, I am reporting this for the year or 2023 because my car is brand new and making screech noises every time I break. Also, my electric system randomly stops working. For example, my touch screen Car play system pixelates and sometimes doesn’t even work. I turned off my car and the radio stayed on and the volume wasn’t going down. The car was off and the radio was still playing! After about 15 mins the radio stopped playing while the car was off. Something isn’t right with my trailblazer, electric and breaks. Lastly, in the images you will see as my millage goes up so does the remaining fuel miles I have left. The fuel miles left are suppose to go down as I’m using the car. Therefore, something is also wrong with my electric dashboard system and fuel meter. Please consider a recall, this is dangerous.

I was driving west on I90 near Belvidere IL, through a construction zone. All of sudden the vehicle stopped by its self. I had no control except for the steering. Once on the left shoulder of a four lane hwy(one way), another four lanes on the other side. There was a cement barrier blocking from the other side traffic. I smelled like burnt rubber, now I now it was the brakes. I checked under the hood did not see or smell something burning. After a few minutes the SUV was able to move. I was afraid for my life, just waiting on a vehicle to hit me.

When I start my car my car play will not connect. When I start my car and put my car in reverse to use the back up camera and then put in drive the back up camera will remain on. The speakers are static sometimes. The screen will not work and it will be slow or shut off completely. I have pulled over and shut off my car and opened my door to shut off screen and it remains on for a couple mins playing music even when I shut it off.
