The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. TOOK CAR IN TO DEALERSHIP YEARS AGO TO HAVE HEAD REST AND AIRBAGS FIXED. RECEIVED A NOTICE BY INPUTTING MY VIN THAT THESE FIXES WERE INCOMPLETE . ALSO DISCOVERED THAT THE 3.6 PENTASTAR ENGINE FROM THE FACTORY HAD SUBSTANDARD ENGINE BEARINGS WHICH COULD RESULT IN THE ENGINE SEIZURE AND THE REMEDY WAS FOR THE FACTORY TO REPLACE THE ENGINE. MY 2012 CHRYSLER 200 WAS MANUFACTURED DURING THIS TIME FRAME, YET WAS NEVER NOTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER OF THIS DANGEROUS CONDITION.

I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING WHEN YOU START UP THE CAR THERE ARE TIMES IT WILL START RIGHT AWAY AND THERE ARE TIMES THAT I HAVE TO TRY IT TO START BETWEEN 3 OR 5 TIMES. BROUGHT THE CAR TO THE MECHANIC 3 TIMES IN 2 WEEKS. . I HAVE A BRAND NEW BATTERY, NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD ALTERNTERNATOR, SPARK PLUG IS ALSO NEW, BRAKE IS NEW AND ANOTHER PARTS WAS REPLACED WHICH COST ME $300. TODAY , DECEMBER 19, 2019 I BROUGHT MY CAR TO THE MECHANIC TO HAVE THE PROBLEM DIAGNOSED BUT ON THE 13 DETECTED NONE OF IT HAS ERROR. . PLEASE HELP ME. I ALREADY SPENT SO K IN MONEY TO GET IT FIX . COMPLAINT: PASSENGER SEAT BELT GETS STUCK WHEN BUCKLED. YOU HAVE TO PULL REALLY HARD TO RELEASE THE BUCKLE. IF I WERE TO GET IN A WRECK I COULD NOT GET A PASSENGER OUT OF MY PASSENGER SEAT BECAUSE ITS TOO HARD TO UNBUCKLE.THIS OCCURS WHEN CAR IS MOVING AND STATIONARY. HEATER PROBLEMS: MY PASSENGER SIDE HEAT IS NOT WORKING IT IS BLOWING COLD AIR AND WILL NOT DEFROST THE PASSENGER SIDE. ONLY THE DRIVER SIDE RIGHT VENT BLOWS WARM AIR. I WAS INFORMED THAT CHRYSLER RELEASES ABOUT 1 PART A WEEK TO THIS DEALER, THAT THERE ARE ABOUT 20 TO 30 PEOPLE ON A WAITING LIST WAITING FOR PARTS AND THAT IT WILL TAKE A WHILE BEFORE THE VEHICLE IS REPAIRED. TAKATA RECALL UNKNOWN MY CAR STALLED OUT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND I LEFT IT THERE TO BE PICKED UP BY MY MECHANIC THE NEXT MORNING. I FOUND OUT THE NEXT DAY THAT MY CAR HAD BEEN CRASHED AND I WENT TO THE TOW YARD WHERE THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN TAKEN TO RETRIEVE MY PERSONAL ITEMS FROM THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT MY AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. MY CAR HAS BEEN CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS BY GEICO CAR INSURANCE. GEICO CLAIM NUMBER [XXX]. I STILL HAVE MY TITLE, IT IS A REBUILT ONE. GEICO HAS BEEN TAKING THEIR SWEET TIME TO REIMBURSE ME FOR MY VEHICLE. THE ACTUAL ACCIDENT OCCURRED ON APRIL 25TH, 2017. THE POLICE REPORT IS INACCURATE. TODAY IS AUGUST 30TH, 2017 AND I'M STILL WAITING ON A CHECK. THE TOW YARD HAS APPARENTLY BECOME THE LIENHOLDER SO I'VE BEEN TOLD AND GEICO HAS TO PAY THEM OFF BEFORE THEY CAN PAY ME? HOWEVER, I WAS AWARE THE PASSENGER SEATBELTS WERE LOCKED BUT I WAS STILL ABLE TO WRAP THE DRIVER'S BELT AROUND ME. FURTHERMORE, I'VE HAD NUMEROUS HEADLIGHT ISSUES IN BOTH HEADLIGHTS AND THE AC EVENTUALLY STOPPED WORKING. THERE WAS ALSO A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON THAT COULD NOT BE TURNED OFF. I SPOKE WITH CHRYSLER AND THEY TOLD ME NOTHING CAN BE DONE AS FAR AS REIMBURSEMENT AT THIS POINT BECAUSE I HAVE NO POSSESSION OF THE VEHICLE. I EMAILED THEM BACK IN FEBRUARY AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO WAIT THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, I EMAILED AGAIN IN APRIL WAS TOLD THE SAME THING IT IS NOW AUGUST. I WAS DRIVING STRAIGHT FORWARD, IN THE RIGHT LANE OF A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY (TWO LANES IN EITHER DIRECTION). TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS NO POWER STEERING FLUID IN THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPLENISHED WITH POWER STEERING FLUID BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE ALSO CONTACT STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING HOSE EXPLODED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 6,047. 2012 CHRYSLER 200 . CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO A DEFECTIVE PASSENGER SEAT BELT. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED SHE UN-BUCKLED THE SEAT BELT, THE BUCKLE ITSELF CAME BACK AND HIT HER ON THE RIGHT ELBOW, CAUSING EXTREME PAIN. THAT PAIN FOLLOWED UP HER ARM CAUSING NUMBNESS AND TINGLING IN HER LAST TWO FINGERS ON HER RIGHT HAND. AFTER A FOLLOW-UP WITH AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON, IT WAS DETERMINED THE CONSUMER HAD CUBITAL TUNNEL SYNDROME CAUSED BY AN ULNAR NERVE ENTRAPMENT FROM THE SEAT BELT BUCKLE HITTING HER RIGHT ELBOW. THE CONSUMER STATED SURGERY WAS NEEDED TO RELIEVE THE PRESSURE ON THE ULNAR NERVE.
