Multiple issues, passenger window is a very common issue, looked on YouTube and found many videos for it was able to jump with direct power to the pigtail using wires and a battery and was able to roll it up but no explanation for why it ends up having this issue, heater core also a consistent issue, it is obvious with passenger side goes cold and 95% of the fix is a new heater core. Headrests popping, had the safety recall done 02chz28 (Recall S61) and never was mentioned or brought up by local dealer, both seatbelts are not functioning properly, passenger side is the worst, locks up and both are running along the plastic causing it to become deformed and wearing on the edges of the belts. Vehicle has obvious replacements on the front but no accident history. Hood is a different vin number and grill is not original from factory. I found the original photo of the car's first sale post. Odd malfunction is washer fluid can run out with no indicator being triggered for low fluid.

ON 6/16/2018, I WAS INVOLVED IN A HIGHWAY ACCIDENT WHEN TRAVELING SOUTH AND A DEER RAN OUT ACROSS FROM THE NORTH SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY CRASHING RIGHT INTO THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE OF MY VEHICLE THEN FLEW UP IN THE AND CRASHED DOWN RIGHT THREW MY WINDSHIELD WHILE I WAS TRAVELING AT A RATE OF SPEED OF 50 MPH. I WAS SEVERELY INJURED SINCE MY SEATBELTS FAILED TO RESTRAIN ME AND NONE OF MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. HOWEVER, MONTHS AFTER VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED FOLLOWING DEER COLLISION THE AIRBAG SPONTANEOUSLY DEPLOYED AND I SUFFERED SECONDARY INJURY. I NEED SOME ANSWERS ON WHY I WANTED NOTIFIED ABOUT THE RECALL BEFORE NOW. I JUST RECEIVED THE LETTER REGARDING RECALL ON THE VEHICLE'S AIRBAGS AND SEATBELTS TWO YEARS LATER! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. ADJUSTED THE ELECTRICAL MIRROR THEN SHORTLY AFTER ADJUSTMENT SMOKE STARTED TO ROLL OUT FROM UNDER THE BUTTONS OF THE WINDOW CONTROLLERS AND MELTED THEM SLIGHTLY (DRIVER AND PASSENGER FRONT WINDOW BUTTONS) THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION AND THEN STATIONARY DUE TO WE HAD TO EXIT THE VEHICLE DUE TO BE OVERCOME WITH SMOKE. WE WERE TURNING OFF A HIGHWAY TO A RESIDENTIAL STREET. WE THEN WAS ABLE TO GET BACK INTO THE CAR WHEN THERE WAS LITTLE SMOKE AND CONTINUE 1/2 MILE TO THE HOME WERE STAYING AT. WINDOW'S WILL NOT ROLL UP OR DOWN NOW. DUE TO THE SMOKE, I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE BACK TO MICHIGAN FROM WISCONSIN IN A WEEK. I AM TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THE PARTS REQUIRED ARE BACKLOGGED NATIONWIDE. IT HAS BEEN OVER 7 MONTHS SINCE I INITIALLY RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE. WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN 2013 IT WAS CONSIDERED USED AT THE DEALER AND SOON AFTER PURCHASING IT THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT WOULD NOT UNBUCKLE WHEN THE PASSENGER PRESSED THE RED BUTTON TO UNLATCH THE BELT. QUITE A FEW TIMES THE PASSENGER HAD TO LITERALLY CLIMB OUT FROM UNDER THE SEAT BELT TO GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND IF IT WAS STILL LATCHED I REALLY HAD TO PULL HARD TO GET IT TO UNBUCKLE. SOMETIMES ON LONG TRIPS I WOULD MAKE THE PASSENGER SIT IN THE BACK SEAT BECAUSE THIS BECAME QUITE AN ISSUE. SOMETIMES IT WOULD UNBUCKLE AS IT SHOULD HAVE AND OTHER TIMES I FOUGHT WITH IT SO HARD I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD UNBUCKLE. OF COURSE THIS WOULD HAPPEN WHEN THE CAR WAS STATIONARY BUT GETTING READY TO DRIVE WITH EVERYONE PUTTING ON THEIR SEAT BELTS AND IT WOULD ONLY BE THE OCCUPANT SEAT BELT THAT WOULD DO THIS WHEN I PARKED AND EVERYONE WAS DEPARTING THE VEHICLE. THE SEAT BELT WOULD NOT UNBUCKLE. I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR THIS PROBLEM WITHOUT HAVING A SOLUTION ON OR NEAR THE RECALL DATE OF SEPTEMBER 13, 2016.. I HAVE BEEN CHECKING THE RECALLS.MOPAR.COM SITE AND THERE IS STILL NO SOLUTION. IF THERE WAS ANY KIND OF ACCIDENT WHERE THE OCCUPANT COULD NOT GET THE SEAT BELT UNBUCKLED AND THE AIRBAG NOT DEPLOYING IT COULD BE SEROUS IF NOT DEADLY. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL RECALL NOTICE AND A RECENT UPDATE STATING THE THEY STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. WHO SENDS OUT A RECALL NOTICE WITHOUT A SOLUTION? THAT WORRIED ME RIGHT AWAY. I FEEL THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN THE PEOPLE THAT RECEIVED THIS RECALL NOTICE A SOLUTION RIGHT AWAY THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT HAVE MIGHT HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED OR EVEN DIED BECAUSE OF THIS. I PROCEEDED TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE TO WORK AND THEY WERE STILL ON WHEN I MADE IT TO WORK. WHEN I CAME OUT FOR LUNCH BREAK AND STARTED MY VEHICLE THEY WERE OFF, BUT THEY CONTINUE TO PERIODICALLY COME ON AND STAY ON EVEN WITH BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEATBELTS BUCKLED. I CALLED HUFFINES OF LEWISVILLE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT INDICATORS WERE PROBABLY RELATED TO THE CURRENT RECALL HOWEVER THEY STATED THEY COULD NOT REPAIR MY VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PARTS FROM THE RECALL BUT IF I WANTED TO BRING MY VEHICLE IN AND PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTIC AND THE REPAIRS THEY WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE.
