Queja de Defecto de Seguridad por Falla de TCM y Negligencia de Recall VIN del Vehículo: [XXX] Mi vehículo Chrysler 200, año 2015, ha experimentado una falla total del Módulo de Control de Transmisión (TCM), resultando en la pérdida abrupta de potencia e inmovilización de la unidad. Esta falla no solo es mecánica, sino que representa un peligro crítico para la seguridad, ya que puede ocurrir sin previo aviso en la carretera. Mi vehículo tiene 4 Recalls de seguridad obligatorios y pendientes (U90, W84, X80, XB1). El fabricante (Stellantis) se ha negado a resolver la falla del TCM y a atender los Recalls pendientes. A pesar de haber notificado formalmente a los departamentos de México (Caso No. XXX) y a los contactos corporativos en EE. UU., la compañía ha evadido la responsabilidad por más de 7 días. Tuve que pagar por un diagnóstico que confirmó la falla del TCM (Costo de reparaciónes y diagnostico estimado a la fecha: $35,496.00 MXN). Chrysler sold me a unsafe rusted frame the car is dangerous and unsafe I'm scared of the car and it needs to be pick up
The heated seats will randomly turn on or off. They won't turn on other times and then won't turn off majority off the time.
Vin number goes to a Chrysler Limited when car is a Chrysler 200 C basic model
The 2 recalls R-24 and R-55 were both supposedly fixed at the hunt Chrysler in Franklin ky but my vehicle is still shifting up into neutral randomly I almost got hit because I was pulling out of a stop sign and the car stalled and went into neutral and I was stuck in the middle of the road and luckily nobody was coming so I had time to restart the car and get out of the way but the recall work they did was not done correctly otherwise they would have not called and said my car was ready to be picked up. Then they hung up on me when I called to see what I needed to do about getting my car back in to be fixed correctly and they literally hung up and refused to do their job and ensure that my vehicle is safe by correctly performing the recall work that Chrysler sent them to do. I looked it up and the step by step guide is online and they did not follow Chryslers guidelines or standards and I want answers please.
The uconnect/radio is off and it is available for inspection. In some extreme cases, a malfunctioning radio could potentially interfere with other critical vehicle functions, creating a safety hazard. Also it interferes with my A/C & only blows hot air when it chooses to work. It hasn’t been expected by the manufacturer, it’s only been expected audio tech & mechanics & stated they can’t detect the problem. There was no warning signs just a complete shut off & never turned on again
The radio screen sounded as if it shorted out, went blank, and now my battery dies if I don't run my car every day. My odometer flashes and my engine light is on, but the engine codes that come up are related to the Evap. System Integrity Module, and the Active Grille Shutter that I'm sure need replacement due to age. I'm not sure if there is indeed a short, but my battery has been replaced three times (this time being the fourth) since 2019 which seems excessive leading me to believe that there may be one. When reaching out to my local dealership I am advised to bring in for them to look at which costs $150.00 just for the service department to troubleshoot. I during a previous recall I was informed that it costs $1800 to replace the radio. Upon further review I discovered that I am not the only owner with this same issue. Several owners have has this happen to their vehicles. I believe this is worth looking into.
On July 4th 2024 I was driving home and transmission started acting up and leaked everywhere come to find out after inspection the transmission pan exploded under my vehicle and it will not drive at all it's saying service power train and service transmission and the car won't turn off or start and it's stuck in drive along with the emergency brake turned on by itself and the vehicle started to smoke
Car said engine was hot which it wasn't car won't move out of neutral.
I had just purchased my vehicle on 03/06/2024. A few days after purchasing my vehicle, the check engine light came on. I took it to Autozone to get the check engine light code read and see what the issue was. The code showed a cylinder 4 misfire. I purchased and replaced replaced the spark plugs, egnition coils, a sensor and cleaner for fuel injectors and throttle body. After I replaced the different parts, it was still showing the check engine light. I took it to Bi O Tires and they had the code read and told me it had a cylinder 4 misfire. They told me to take it to Tunex because they were not able to fix it there. I took it to Tunex and they did a diagnostic to see the reason it was misfiring and told me that the car wasn't misfiring and that the vehicle was fine. They turn the check engine light off and after a couple of days the check engine light came on. I took it to the Chrysler dealership to get it checked, they told me that they were going to check it and fix a recall issue on it, and that if the check engine light came on, they didn't know what to do. The check engine light is back on.
The car keeps acting like it goes in to neutral and cuts out all the time sensors keep popping up saying engine is overheating engine temperature sensor the check engine light keeps popping up and the engine temperature thing keeps going away
Shift performance unavailable and my steering wheel gets hard to turn and my car won’t accelerate. Sometimes won’t shift to drive & the parking break will stay on even when not pressed
i HAVE AN EMMISSIONS RECALL [XXX] ON THE CAR. i HAVE TRYING FOR 10 MONTHS TO GET THIS RECALL FIXED AND I AM UNABLE TO BECAUSE THE DEALERSHIPS ARE UNABLE TO GET THE PARTS. I AM ON A WAITING LIST WITH CHRYSLER TRACY DEALERSHIP, MANTECA CHRYSLER AND MODESTO CHRYSLER FOR THE [XXX] AND EVERYONE IS TELLING ME AT LEAST 4 MONTHS AND THAT IS NOT A GUARNATEE. Vehicle directional system indicates that vehicle is traveling in the opposite direction of actual movement. ie: indicates vehicle is traveling north when the vehicle is actually traveling south; west when actually traveling east; south when traveling north; east when actually traveling west You may think this is not a safety issue but if a driver goes by the vehicles indicated path of direction (especially at night), the driver could end up in an isolated/unpopulated area at a time when their vehicle requires gas, the driver requires emergency services, etc. In addition to being an inconvenience (adding miles/hours of travel to a drivers trip), this could be a safety issue/dangerous =>place a driver in an unsafe area/neighborhood &/or in an area with no services/facilitates to purchase gasoline, etc. ...have the driver-in an unfamiliar area-going in the opposite direction of emergency services/hospitals, etc. ...I recently purchased a used 2015 Chrysler 200 for a trip from AZ to NE NV. I embarked on my trip within a week of purchasing the vehicle. My departing had been delayed by the need to purchase medication to relieve my service dogs travel related anxiety. I had no time to become familiar with my newly purchased vehicle. Driving through Las Vegas, my vehicles navigation indicated I was driving south - when I needed to be driving north. I am unfamiliar with Las Vegas. I did not know if I was actually driving in the direction I needed to be traveling => north. The following day, driving during a moonless night, I was completely disoriented and became lost while following the direction my vehicle indicated I was traveling. For 2 hours I traveled in a direction that I believed to be north (my vehicle indicated I was traveling north). It was pitch black. I ended up in the middle of nowhere...I did not know where I was. I backtracked to a town I had passed through =>where I could get a motel and fuel... Navigation software error/malfunction
Car randomly accelerates on it's own. Typically when I am trying to come to a stop. Happened to the mechanic when he test drove it. Did not know what to do about it. Service airbag light also on for seemingly no reason.

While driving the car on the highway it completely shut off and would not start. My dashboard is black and flashes. This could have been worse and put our life at risk. I have had so many issues on this car ever since I purchased it. I have taken it to a shop before and this will be my third time.
Decelerating while approaching a stop sign the engine shut off and would not restart for approximately 10 minutes. No warning lamps or indicators were lit. The driver was in danger of rear collision while attempting to restart.
I purchased this car a yr ago and have complained about the transmission since the beginning along with oil issues and power issues. They refused to fix it. The car downshifts and throws itself forward and it's almost caused numerous accidents. There's times the car will not go forward and when you hit the gas a little it revs and shoots forward. It's very unsafe and I can't even drive it. I'm paying for a car that's very unsafe
When in park with engine running indicator comes on and says put car into park before it rolls. Look down and see it shifted into neutral. Always after putting in park I have to engage my emergency brake to make sure it does not roll. Very sluggish when put into drive. Tells me to service transmission and this all started in September. Took it to a repair shop called Xtreme auto repair and was told it has a six page recall on the problem with my transmission. Emailed Chrysler headquarters and they said there was nothing they could do cause the warranty expired. Yes it expired back in 2020 and the problem just started in September of 2022. Was told “ so sorry I am having a bad customer day”. Bought the car used in October 2017. I fear for my life and others as well if something should happen while driving.
The touchscreen radio will not load past the chrysler symbol. It is the only way to control air vents i.e. defrost and temperature. It occasionally loads to rear backup camera view and gets stuck there driving down the highway
It’s starting up but won’t drive and light smoke come from the car overheating a lot it’s just a big mess not holding any fluids waste money trying to keep it with Fluids
Body control module wasnt working took it to the dealership did a diagnostic and it said body control module needed replaced we paid to buy this part and to have it put in and it still didnt work i have the receipts for this the dealership then wanted us to pay for more dignostics and parts and still isnt working there is a recall on this just want my car to be fixed and running properly and be safe on the road.still a problem with the vehicles high communication which tells me if its not communicateing the part to the vehicle theres a problem in the electrical . there should be nothing going wrong the car is only 7 years old .I have been trying to get to the bottom of this the dealership Grand Bay Area jeep chrysler has been of no help what so ever .2 recalls already campain #15V470000 recall #R24 And campaign #14 V480000 RECALL#P43. And on7/23 for an exploytation of the software and the antilocking brake system is not working properly. This whole situation is not good I desperatly need help all of these problems are safety issues
My 2015 Chrysler 200S vehicle shuts OFF while driving. Mostly when I slow down to make a turn or come to a stop sign. Others have reported a shut down while driving on the highway. Battery, alternator, transmission, belts - have all been checked as okay. I found recall information about this being a real mfg problem but I've never received a recall notice about it. I've shut down while crossing a busy street and almost got hit. I'm afraid to get it on the highway now or drive it anywhere for fear of getting stranded or causing an accident.
Thermometer malfunction When coolant temp reaches 174 degrees, thermometer bottoms out. electric throttle light comes on and l=lights saying engine HOT appear. Turn car off , wait 60 seconds turn car on and the car is fine.
upon taking my chrysler 2015 200 limited 2.4L in-line into BAY AREA CHRYSLER dealership to figure out why my car wasnt running correctly they it on their diagnostic they said it needed a body control module which the dealership put a new one charged me 199.20 to put it in plus the $376.35 for the module that was ordered which I paid .when I picked up my car it was parked with the ignition on and walked off with the key fob.after paying for another 200 $ for a new key fob I was told the new part didnt work.so now the center stack which controls the radio the heater /air conditioner controls screen off on selecter knob and parking brake do not work so im wondering if the electrical recall or failure of the dealership to do their job
Car says “engine warming, please wait to start” then it take at least 5 mins to actually start the car. My cars also been overheating since my software update for my recall.
I just bought it. I put my foot down on the pedal a c the car acts like there's no power than jerks the car forward. And going down hills the acceleration sticks and rpms shoot high than jerk down

The car displays several symptoms of other recalls on the exact same model. It has high vibration when sitting idle and while driving, the car also has issues in shifting gears on it's own, either while trying to decrease speed, or increase speed. As if it is stuck in gear. The car is an automatic. On top of this, when taking off, the car jerks and stalls in power, instead of going forward as it should, making pulling out incredibly dangerous. Again, these are all symptoms of recalls that have been made on these exact models of cars. I tried contacting the dealership, but they said if my VIN doesn't have the recall listed there is nothing that can be done. I think this is insane. The vibration has been noted in recalls to wear away parts of the tire axel, which leads to breaking of important components that move the wheels and can be dangerous if they were to break while the car was moving.
THE VEHICLE WOULD CUT OFF CAUSING ME TO SWERVE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT. IT WOULD STALL WHILE DRIVING WHICH ALSO CAUSED ISSUES. THEN IT WOULD JUST NOT START AND ONCE TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE.

AFTER PLACING THE REMOTE NEXT TO START BUTTON AND WAITING A BIT I WAS ABLE TO START IT UP AFTER A FEW TRIES. FINISHED PARKING. AFTER WORK, I WAS DRIVING HOME AND WAS WAITING TO TURN AND DO UTURN AND THE CAR ONCE MORE DIED. NOT SURE IF I WAS COMPLETELY STOPPED OR INCHING FORWARD WHILE WAITING FOR INCOMING TRAFFIC TO CLEAR. TRIED STARTING IT UP AGAIN THE SAME WAYS AS IN MORNING. THE CAR WOULDN'T START. AFTER STANDING 5 MINUTES IN A TURNING LANE, I GOT IT TO START. FINISHED THE DRIVE HOME WORRYING. CAR SHUTS OFF WHILE BRAKING, AND TURNS EVERYTHING OFF. IT ALSO 'LOCKS' THE BRAKE, AND TAKES MINUTES TO RELEASE. MY DEALERSHIP HAVE NOT RETURNED MY MULTIPLE CALLS ABOUT FIXING THE RECALL.
FOR THE PAST SEVERAL MONTHS I HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH MY CAR STARTING. THERE ARE NO INDICATORS THAT THERES ANY ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE. IT JUST TAKES ABOUT SEVERAL SECONDS TO GET A CRANK IN ORDER FOR THE CAR TO COME ON. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO GET IT LOOKED AT TO SEE WHAT THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM WAS. NO ISSUES WITH THE BATTERY OR STARTER. I HAD THE SPARK PLUGS CHANGED WITH AN OIL CHANGE AND STILL THE SAME ISSUE. SINCE THEN FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS UPON MY INITIAL START FOR THE DAY MY CAR HAS SHUT OFF ON ME WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE RESIDENTIAL ROAD LESS THEN A MILE IN IT STOPS OUT OF NOWHERE LOCKS THE CAR UP SO IM UNABLE TO STIR THE CAR AND TELLS ME TO PART THE CAR IN PARK. AFTER THAT IM UNABLE TO GET THE CAR TO START AGAIN AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS THEN IT'LL FINALLY CRANK BACK UP AFTER PUTTING THE KEY FLOB NEXT TO THE PUSH START BUTTON. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY CAR. THIS IS DANGEROUS THANK GOD I WASNT ON THE HIGHWAY NOR WHERE CARS BEHIND ME. I HAVE CHECKED FOR RECALLS ON MY CAR AND ITS NOT INDICATING ANY FOR MINE IN PARTICULAR BUT THERE ARE RECALLS ON 2015 CHRYSLER 200 MODELS. MY CAR ISNT UNDER WARRANTY AND HAS OVER 100 THOUSAND MILES.
RADIO FREEZES UP FOR HOURS ON END MEANING YOU MAY HAVE TO TOUCH YOUR PHONE WHILE DRIVING INSTEAD OF USING HANDS FREE. BLUETOOTH STOPS WORKING RANDOMLY AND RADIO VOLUME RANDOMLY GETS SUPER LOUD OR PRACTICALLY SILENT. MAKES A WEIRD HIGH PITCHED SKIPPING SOUND. HAS HAPPENED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. WHEN PARKED AND WHEN DRIVING ON HIGHWAY.
MY AIR BAG LIGHT ALWAYS COMES ON. SAYING IT NEEDS TO BE SERVICED EVERY TIME THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT IS MOVED. MY RADIO USED TO SHUT OFF WHILE I'M DRIVING AND REBOOT LIKE IF IM STARTING THE CAR.. NOW IT DOESN'T TURN ON AT ALL. IT JUST GLITCHES. SINCE I GOT THE CAR WHEN I GO TO SWITCH GEARS THE CAR WILL SWITCH GEARS HARD. LIKE IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION.

THE EXTENDED WARRANTY EXPIRED. SINCE THE CAR IS COMPUTERIZED I HAVE TO PAY FOR UPDATES AND ELECTRICAL ISSUES. NOW THE SEAT BELT LIGHT IS ON DUE TO TWO BAD HARNESS UNDER THE SEAT. AN UPDATE WAS ALLEGEDLY REPAIRED OF THE CAR JUMPING, THE CAR STILLS JUMPS. THE VEHICLE IS SLOWLY DETERIORATING AT MY EXPENSE. CHRYSLER HAS STATED THEY WILL NOT HELP ME. THIS VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE RECALLED IMMEDIATELY.

I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE DIAGNOSED AT A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP/SERVICE CENTER AND WAS NOTIFIED THAT THE ORC ("OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER") WAS NON RESPONSIVE. AT APPROXIMATELY 1008 HOURS A SLINGER POLICE OFFICER ARRIVED AT THE SCENE, ALONG WITH A WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF AND THE SLINGER FIRE DEPARTMENT. 12/20/18 PROBLEMS WITH ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS, MY ENGINE STALL, GEARSHIFT NOT GOING INTO NEUTRAL, INTERMITTENT POWER FAILURE TO CERTAIN ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. NOT STARTING OR MOVING
ON 9/16/18, VEHICLE DIED AND WOULD NOT START. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, IT STARTED, THEN WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, VEHICLE LOST ALL ELECTRICAL POWER AND CAME TO A STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. CAR WAS TOWED TO DEALER WHERE THEY TROUBLE SHOOTED FOR SEVERAL DAYS TRYING TO REPRODUCE THE ELECTRICAL POWER FAILURE. THEY FOUND A SERVICES BULLETIN ABOUT ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND REPLACED WIRING HARNESS. OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS I NOTICED MY VEHICLE FELT LIKE THE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING. AS TIME WENT ON, I REALIZED IT WASN'T A SLIPPING, BUT A HARD SHIFT. THE VEHICLE WOULD ALSO LOOSE POWER UPON ACCELERATION TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC OR CHANGING LANES. THIS WAS VERY SCARY, BUT AT TIMES IT SEEMED AS IF THE VEHICLE MIGHT LOSE COMPLETE POWER AND DIE WHILE IN HEAVY HIGHWAY SPEED TRAFFIC. ON 10/11/2018 WHILE HAVING MY VEHICLE OIL CHANGED, I ASKED THE TECHNICIAN TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO CONFIRM WHAT I WAS FEELING WITH THE TRANSMISSION. THE TECHNICIAN AGREED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS IN FACT NOT SHIFTING OR FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. I OBTAINED A QUOTE TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION SERVICED. THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED HAVE THE TRANSMISSION FLUSHED/SERVICED MIGHT HELP, BUT OFTEN TIMES FLUSHING CAN CAUSE SYMPTOMS TO WORSEN. I OPTED TO NOT HAVE THE TRANSMISSION FLUSHED/SERVICED AT THAT TIME AND PLANNED TO TAKE MY VEHICLE INTO THE DEALER AFTER THE HOLIDAYS. IT IS NOW THE THE 3RD WEEK IN DECEMBER AND JUST THIS WEEK THE HARD SHIFTING AND LOSS OF POWER WHEN THE VEHICLE DOWNSHIFTS TO MERGE INTO HIGHWAY SPEED TRAFFIC HAS WORSENED SIGNIFICANTLY. I WAS NEAR OREILL AND IT PRODUCED CODES FOR THERMOSTAT, COOLING SENSOR, SYSTEM PERFORMANCE, ETC. MESSAGES ARE NOT ON SCREEN NOW BUT CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS STILL ON. I BELIEVE IT TRIGGERS WHEN COOLING TEMP REACHES APPX, 189 F. AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH MANY OTHERS ARE EXPERIENCING THESE ISSUES AND SEEMS THE PROBLEM ESCALATES TO MUCH WORSE SUCH AS SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING. AN UNRELIABLE NAVIGATION SYSTEM IS DANGEROUS FOR A DRIVER WHO MUST NAVIGATE THROUGH UNFAMILIAR AREAS OR MAKE A DETOUR FROM A KNOWN ROUTE. THEY HAD IT IN FOR A FEW DAYS AND TOLD ME THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. THIS PROBLEM WAS BLAMED ON THE R24 RECALL, A MONTH LATER I GOT THE CAR BACK WITH THE PART THAT HAD TO BE REPLACED AND EVERYTHING SEEMED FINE. WHEN YOU PUT THE CAR IN PARK IT ROLLS FORWARD QUITE A BIT. 2 TIMES IT JUMPED OUT OF PARK AND INTO REVERSE. I HAVE HAD AN AIRBAG ISSUE 5 TIMES AND TODAY IT IS AT THE DEALERSHIP TO BE REPAIRED AGAIN. IT IS THE RIGHT SIDE AIRBAG. CONNECTORS WERE CHANGED AND WIRING 4 TIMES. CAR HESITATES A LOT ESPECIALLY FROM A STAND STILL. THE VEHICLE UNDERWENT REPAIRS AND TESTING FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK BEFORE BEING RETURNED TO ME YET AGAIN. I HAVE DRIVEN THE VEHICLE SINCE THEN WITH NO APPARENT ISSUES, BUT THE PROBLEM I ENCOUNTERED MUST BE PREVENTED BEFORE IT OCCURS. I DID NOT KNOW HOW TO ADJUST AND WAS IN THE LEFT (FAST) LANE WHERE I HAD TO PULL OFF INTO THE 'MICHIGAN LEFT' LANE, I THEN TURNED OFF THE CAR AND RESTARTED IT AGAIN. THIS HAPPENED AGAIN ON HALL ROAD APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS LATER, FORTUNATELY I WAS SLOWING DOWN ANYWAY TO TURN ON TO A STREET. I BELIEVE MOST OF THE FUNCTIONS IN THIS CAR ARE ERGONOMICALLY WRONG. THE 'DIAL' TO PARK, NEUTRAL, REVERSE, DRIVE IS JUST A FEW INCHES AWAY FROM THE AIR FLOW DIAL. I HAVE LOOKED BEHIND THE CAR TO BE SURE THERE WERE NO PEDESTRIANS / VEHICLES AND WHILE MY HEAD WAS TURNED, MY HAND TURNED THE DIAL FOR AIR FLOW INSTEAD OF THE DIAL FOR REVERSE. THE EMERGENCY PARKING BRAKE IS A SMALL PULL BUTTON JUST A FEW INCHES AWAY AS WELL. I HAVE HAD A PASSENGER TRY TO PULL IT AS THEY ASKED WHAT IT WAS . . .

WHILE DRIVING AND THEN SLOWING DOWN IT WOULD SPEEDUP QUICKLY INSTEAD OF SLOWING DOWN.I HAD TO KEEP PUMPING THE BRAKE THEN IT WOULD SLOW DOWN. THEN WHILE DRIVING THE ENGINE ICON CAME ON. MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE SERVICE CENTER AT THE DEALERSHIP. THEY CHECKED IT OUT AND TOLD ME IT WAS ONLY NUMBER THAT ACCIDENTALLY CAME ON WHEN SOMEONE MOVED THE GEARSHIFT BUTTON WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I DRIVE ALONE 99 PERCENT OF THE TIME AND THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN. THEY TOLD ME THE ICON WAS OUT AND WOULD NEVER COME ON AGAIN. LESS THAN A MILE DOWN THE ROAD WHILE LEAVING IT CAME ON AGAIN. SO I TURNED AROUND AND TOOK IT BACK. THEY PUT IT ON THE MACHINE AGAIN AND SAID IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION. THEY WOULD HAVE TO ORDER THE PART AND FIX IT WHEN IT CAME IN. I ASKED IF I SHOULD BE DRIVING IT UNTIL THEN AND THEY SAID YES IT WOULD NOT HURT ANYTHING. A WEEK LATER THEY CALLED AND HAD IT A WEEK. SAYING IT WAS THE O-RINGS AND SEALS IN THE TRANSMISSION. I PICKED IT UP TODAY AND IT STILL WORRIES ME TO DRIVE IT. IT SOUNDS LOUDER AND MAKES NOISE WHEN I TURN IT OFF AND ON. IT SOUNDS AND FEELS LIKE IT IS IN FAST GEAR AND NOT IDLING DOWN WHEN YOU TURN IT OFF AND ON. I DON'T FEEL SAFE WHILE DRIVING THIS CAR AND I BOUNCE UP AND DOWN WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY WHICH DIDN'T BOUNCE BEFORE. THE TIRES FEEL LIKE THEY HIT EACH BUMP HARD. CHRYSLER RECALLED THE PROGRAMMING ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO, I AM NOT SURE WHAT IT WAS BUT THEY SAID IT WAS FIXED BUT IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE THAT IS WHEN THE TROUBLE STARTED.

THE ENGINE SLIPS INTO NEUTRAL STATE WHILE DRIVING. FIRST THE "SERVICE PARK BRAKE" INDICATOR CAME ON FOLLOWED BY "SERVICE TRANSMISSION". THEN THE SHIFT INDICATOR LIGHTS ALL TURNED ON (P, N, D, S ). IT WAS THEN NECESSARY TO COAST TO THE SHOULDER. ONCE WHILE ON THE EXPRESSWAY. TURNED ENGINE OFF AND ON AND STILL ALL SHIFT INDICATOR LIGHTS REMAINED ILLUMINATED. IT STAYED IN THIS CONDITION SO THE CAR COULD NOT BE RE-STARTED. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PULLED THE LEAD OFF THE BATTERY TO RESET. MY VEHICLE IS NOW IN THE SHOP FOR THE 3RD TIME FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. PRIOR TO THE VEHICLE STALLING COMPLETELY THERE WERE 2 OR 3 INSTANCES WHERE I WAS ABLE TO SHIFT TO NEUTRAL AND THEN TO DRIVE WITHOUT HAVING TO PULL OVER, I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING I WAS DOING UNTIL I REALIZED I HAD BIGGER PROBLEMS.

LEAVING FOR WORK IN THE AM, STARTED MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200, REVERSED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY, MADE IT TO THE CORNER OF MY CUL DE SAC AND THE ENGINE COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. THERE WAS A MESSAGE IN THE DISPLAY INCLUDING THE WORDS "TRANS," AND "EMERGENCY PARK." THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHUT DOWN AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ENGAGED. I COULD NOT PUT THE CAR IN PARK BECAUSE THE GEAR SYSTEM WAS LOCKED UP. WHEN THE TOW TRUCK ARRIVED HE HAD A HARD TIME WITH IT BECAUSE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WOULD NOT RELEASE, AND THE WHEELS WOULD NOT ROLL. I COULDN'T MOVE THIS CAR IF I WANTED TO. I COULDN'T OPEN THE TRUNK, LOCK THE DOORS, USE FLASHERS, NOTHING... ANYTHING ELECTRICAL WAS OUT OF COMMISSION. MY LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP HAD THE CAR FOR TWO DAYS, SAID THEY "PERFORMED MANY SOFTWARE UPGRADES" AND "TEST DROVE IT EXTENSIVELY" AND THAT IT WAS FIXED. 20 MINUTES AFTER I PICKED IT UP, I WAS DRIVING IN THE CENTER LANE OF A 3-LANE HIGHWAY, WITH MY 4 YEAR OLD AND 1 YEAR OLD IN THE CAR, AND THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN AND THE CAR'S POWER AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHUT DOWN ALSO. LUCKILY, I WAS ABLE TO COAST INTO A PARKING LOT. I HAD THE CAR TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER AGAIN. THE MANAGER OF THE DEALERSHIP SAID IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN, I CAN REPLACE THE CAR OR THEY WILL BUY IT BACK. I AM TERRIFIED TO DRIVE THIS CAR AGAIN. I WAS LUCKY THE FIRST TIME, BARELY LUCKY THE SECOND TIME, WHO KNOWS WHAT SITUATION I MIGHT BE IN IF I AGREE TO LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN? I CANNOT PUT MY CHILDREN IN THIS CAR AGAIN. THIS VEHICLE IS A SUBSTANTIAL SAFETY RISK, AND ALSO POSES ADDITIONAL RISKS TO OTHER DRIVERS ON THE ROAD AROUND IT. SINCE EVERYTHING SHUTS OFF WHEN THIS HAPPENS, IF I WERE TO GET INTO A CRASH AS A RESULT OF IT, THE AIRBAGS LIKELY WOULD NOT DEPLOY, ADDING TO THE RISK OF INJURY. WHEN I SEARCH BY MY VIN# I DO NOT SEE THAT MINE IS INCLUDED BUT I CAN TELL YOU FROM SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE UNTIL NOW, ON A WEEKLY BASIS I WILL PULL INTO A PARKING SPOT/DRIVEWAY AND PUT MY CAR IN PARK AND IT WILL CONTINUE TO ROLL FORWARD OR BACKWARD 1-3 FEET BEFORE IT ACTUALLY STOPS MOVING. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT EITHER THE DEALERSHIP FAILED TO INSPECT THIS CAR PROPERLY BEFORE WE PURCHASED IT OR THAT THAT THERE ARE MORE VIN#S THAT SHOULD BE EVALUATED FOR THE ISSUE. THE FRONT END OF THE CAR WAS RESTING ON THE FENDER. AS STATED ON THE REPAIR INVOICE...."LOWER BALL JOINT SEPARATED FROM KNUCKLE, DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE FULLY INSTALLED. REPLACED RIGHT FRONT LOWER ARM, KNUCKLE, AXEL, SPLASH SHIELD. RELEARN POWER STEERING AND FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT". WE WERE ON OUR WAY TO A WEEK LONG VACATION AND HAD TO SPEND IT IN A DEALERSHIP AND ENTERPRISE RENTAL CAR AGENCY. VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED WHEN WE HAD TO LEAVE AND COME HOME. I HAVE VIDEOS AND PHOTOS. SPOKE TO CHRYSLER CARE WHO SEEMED WILLING TO WORK WITH US. I ADVISED THAT MY DAUGHTER WAS TERRIFIED TO DRIVE THIS CAR AGAIN. WE HAD ONLY HAD IT 2 WEEKS. THIS WAS HER FIRST NEW CAR PURCHASE. SHE IS A FULL TIME NURSING STUDENT AND WORKS A FULL TIME JOB. WE ASKED THAT CHRYSLER JUST REPLACE THE VEHICLE WITH ONE OF EQUAL VALUE AND WAS TOLD BY THE BUYBACK DEPARTMENT THAT THEY WERE REFUSING TO DO THAT AND THAT THIS WAS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE IS STILL SITTING AT A CHRYSLER DEALER IN MYRTLE BEACH SC. IT HAS BEEN THERE OVER A MONTH. CHRYSLER HAS REFUSED TO ASSIST US. I HAVE SPOKEN TO AN ATTORNEY AND WAS ADVISED THAT I WOULD NEED TO SUE CHRYSLER CORP. AND THE DEALERSHIP. THIS VEHICLE PASSED 2 INSPECTIONS AT THE DEALER WITH FAULTY ASSEMBLEY. I NOTIFIED THE SHOP THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT AND TOLD THEM THE PROBLEM AND THEY ASSUMED THAT THE NEW RECALL FIX WOULD HOPEFULLY AND MAYBE FIX THE PROBLEM. SINCE THEN, IT HAS STALLED OUT FOUR TIMES, AND THREE OF THE TIMES HAPPENED IN THE SAME DAY. THE FIRST STALL OUT WAS IN TOWN AGAIN AND RIGHT AWAY I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP SHOP TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT AGAIN AND THERE SOONEST AVAILABILITY WAS ABOUT A MONTH AWAY SO I HAD NO CONTROL OVER THAT. IT WASN'T UNTIL THE NEXT DAY THAT IT HAPPENED 3 TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND 2 OF THOSE TIMES WERE WITHIN A 10 MINUTE WINDOW AND THIS TIME IT WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH AT THE STALLING TIMES THAT THERE WAS LITTLE TO NO TRAFFIC AROUND ME IN TOWN AND ON THE HIGHWAY, WHERE I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE SAFELY, SHUT THE CAR OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON. THE DEALERSHIP HAS THE CAR STILL, THEY HAVE DRIVEN IT THEMSELVES FOR A COUPLE DAYS AND IT DID NOT HAPPEN TO THEM ONCE AND THEY CANNOT FIND AN ISSUE SO THEY WERE FORCED TO GIVE ME MY CAR BACK. THE PROBLEM WITH THIS ISSUE IS THE STALLING PROBLEM HAPPENS AT RANDOM TIMES& IN DIFFERENT SPEED ZONE AREAS. I HAVE ONLY HAD IT ABOUT 6 WEEKS. MY HUSBAND IS A DISABLED MILITARY WAR VETERAN. WE HAD TO SAVE AND SAVE TO PURCHASE THIS CAR. WE NEEDED SOMETHING RELIABLE. WE HAVE TEENAGERS WHO ALSO DRIVE. WAS ABLE TO PUT CAR IN PARK AND EVENTUALLY SHUT IT OFF. CAR WOULD NOT RESTART. CAR WOULD NOT CHANGE GEARS, SO UNABLE TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL WHEN TOW ARRIVED. TOWED TO DEALER AND THEY HELD IT UNTIL FRIDAY. SAID THAT THE PINS IN THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER WERE LOOSE AND THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. FRIDAY: PICKED CAR UP FROM DEALER, WIFE DROVE IT LESS THAN 1 MILE AND IT STALLED AND SHUT OFF AGAIN IN AN INTERSECTION. AFTER APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES THE CAR RESTARTED. IS NOW BACK AT THE DEALER.

CALLED CHRYSLER AFTER THAT HAPPENED AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATOR SAID THE IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO REMOTE DIAGNOSED BECAUSE THE CAR HAD NO ENGINE CHECK LIGHT OR WARNING MESSAGE THAT IF IT HAPPEN AGAIN TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER OR A MECHANIC FOR CODE SCANNING. SINCE DAY ONE WITH THIS VEHICLE I NOTICED JERKING IN THE TRANSMISSION, SLOW REACTION WHEN PRESSING GAS AND VEHICLE EXCELS WHILE I'M NOT PRESSING THE GAS! THIS CAR IS DANGEROUS! I'M CONCERNED FOR MY FAMILY'S SAFETY!

CHRYSLER 200C AWD. WHILE SITTING AT A RED LIGHT SUDDENLY MY DASH LIT UP WITH THE RED "SERVICE TRANSMISSION" MESSAGE THEN "SHIFT TO P THEN DESIRED GEAR" AND "SERVICE PARK BRAKE". I WASN'T ABLE TO SHIFT AT ALL, THE SELECTOR WOULD STAY IN "P" OR THE LIGHT ON THE SELECTOR WOULD GO FROM "P" TO "S" DIRECTLY BYPASSING "N" AND "D" WITH JUST ONE TWIST BUT THE CAR WOULD STAY IN PARK. I TRIED RESTARTING THE CAR A FEW TIMES WITH NO SUCCESS. AFTER CALLING CHRYSLER ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND STARTING TO WAIT AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF TIME FOR A TOW I DECIDED TO TRY A ELECTRONIC "REBOOT" BY DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL IN THE BATTERY. AFTER LEAVING IT OFF FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES THEN RECONNECTING I WAS ABLE TO RESTART AND SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION INTO "D" AND GET MOVING AGAIN. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS NOW ILLUMINATED AND I AM REALLY CONCERNED IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.

WHILE DRIVING ON SATURDAY MORNING ON MARCH 5, 2015 ABOUT 7:30AM I HAD JUST GOTTEN OFF I 285 AND CAMPBELLTON RD. AT THE CORNER OF CAMPBELLTON RD. AND BARGE RD. AND WAS TURNING ONTO BARGE RD. WHEN THE CAR JUST CUT OFF AND STOPPED. I AS WELL AS MY PASSENGER (EX-GA. STATE REP. MS. ROBERTA ABDUL-SALAAM) WAS ON OUR WAY TO PICK UP SOMEONE ELSE TO GO TO A CONFERENCE FOR THE DAY. WE ALMOST BOTH WENT OUT OF THE WIND SHIELD AND THE CAR DIDN'T MOVE ANOTHER TWO FEET. WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION WE DECIDED TO GET OUT AND WAIT ON A BENCH FOR THE TOW TRUCK I CALLED THROUGH UCONNECT. [XXX] GOT PICKED UP AND I WAITED FOR THE TOW TRUCK. AFTER TRUCK ARRIVED WE TOWED THE VEHICLE TO LANDMARK. AFTER SECURING A LOAN-A-VEHICLE FOR THE DEALERSHIP I LEFT AROUND 2PM. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAID THAT THEY FOUND THAT IT HAD NO POWER AT WIRING FROM COIL F343 ASD CKT. TRACED BACK TO BLOWN F16 FUSE IN IPM. THERE ALSO WAS A RECALL ON THE CAR.
