MY CAR WAS STUCK IN PARK AND WOULD NOT MOVE. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND REMOVED THE COMPONENTS. I NOTICED THAT PINK PLASTIC SHIFT RELEASER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I ALSO PREVIOUSLY HAD A CHRYSLER 300 AND IT WAS THE SAME ISSUE. IT WILL COST ME OVER $400.00 BECAUSE I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE ENTIRE SHIFT INTERLOCK SYSTEM BECAUSE OF ONE PLASTIC PART. I WILL TRY TO REPLACE IT MYSELF WITH BILLETED ALUMINUM PART THAT I CAN BUY AT THE CAR PARTS STORE, INSTEAD BUYING THE WHOLE SYSTEM. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY CHRYSLER CAN NOT PUT MORE DURABLE ONES.
