The contact owned a 2012 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, a vehicle abruptly merged in front, causing the contact to T-bone the vehicle. The driver's side air bags did not fully deploy. The front passenger side air bag deployed, but there was no occupant. The vehicle was towed to a local tow yard. The vehicle was condemned as a total loss. The contact was transported to the local medical center. The contact sustained injuries to the left shoulder and additional bruises. In addition, the contact received a CT scan due to the contact's head hitting the front windshield. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 195,000.

this car was crashed June 10 2023, owner went to hospital and car was towed and took to an auto pound .After 24 hours they told us a private company tolled it or stole it .we reported it stolen and payed a report and that's how I got the info of an independent mechanic trying to fix it. im trying to find my car and the report told me you guys have it.
The air bags were replaced in my vehicle due to a recall. Now my air bag light is on and the buttons and horn do not work. The airbag clock spring is broken. The air bags were replaced by the dealership. Should the clock spring be replaced covered due to this issue?
The air bag light comes on n off with a passenger in the seat and also the shifter sometimes doesn’t shift into gear I have to unplug battery for 10 minutes to reset system that comes to the electrical situation
recall notice for passenger air bag was sent three years ago. Vehicle was brought to dealership and held for a week to replace air bag. Vehicle was returned with air bag NOT replaced. I was told to wait for a call when they receive more air bags and they would schedule for replacement. As of today, three years later, I am being told the air bags are still not available for purchase or replacement under recall.

WHEN THE AWD ISSUE OCCURS, THE VEHICLE IS ALSO DIFFICULT TO STOP WHEN SLOWING DOWN AND DIFFICULT TO START WHEN TAKING OFF. I TOOK MY CAR IN THE KELLY JEEP IN LYNFIELD MA FOR 4 RECALLS, ONE OF THEM WAS THE N07, WHICH IS RELATED TO AIRBAG AND ANOTHER ONE THAT I CAN NOT REMEMBER THE MOST NUMBER THAT IS RELATED TO VALVES AND EMISSIONS. TAKATA RECALL. I HAD AN AIRBAG INDICATOR THAT CAME ON THE DASH BOARD OF MY VEHICLE AND I RECEIVED A LETTER REGARDING THE RECALL OF MY AIRBAG. I DID TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS. AFTER THE AIRBAG RECALL ISSUE WAS REPAIRED I NOTICED THAT THE AIRBAG INDICATOR LIGHT WAS STILL ON. I DID GO BACK INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND ASKED THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WHY THE INDICATOR LIGHT WAS STILL ON. THE SERVICE REP ADVISED ME THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT THE INDICATOR. I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP AND DECIDED TO DO A BIT OF RESEARCH BECAUSE I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE INDICATOR WAS STILL ON. UPON RESEARCHING THE INDICATOR LIGHT, I DID READ THAT IF THE AIRBAG INDICATOR LIGHT WAS LIT AND I GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG WOULD NOT DEPLOY. I CALLED THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP BACK AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SERVICE MANAGER WHO ADVISED THAT THE LIGHT WAS NOT AN ISSUE THEY COULD RESOLVE UNLESS I PAID A DIAGNOSTIC FEE OF $120 AND THEY WOULD LET ME KNOW AT THAT POINT WHY IT WAS ON. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IF THE VEHICLE HAS AN ISSUE WITH THE AIRBAG AND THERE IS A RECALL WHY I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. I FEEL THAT IF THE VEHICLE HAS AN AIRBAG RECALL THAT I SHOULD HAVE LEFT THAT DEALERSHIP WITH ALL THE CONFIDENCE IN THE WORLD THAT THE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED. YET I NOW MUST EITHER PAY OR HOPE THAT I DO NOT HAVE A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT AND HAVE A PASSENGER IN THE VEHICLE. I BELIEVE THAT IT SHOULD BE COVERED ESPECIALLY SINCE THE AIRBAG HAS A RECALL. FROM ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, TO THE AIRBAG ISSUES, TO LATER SPENDING OVER 1300 IN REPAIRING THE ALTERNATOR. WITHIN THE 1ST FEW DAYS OF THE PURCHASE THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON IN WHICH I IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT THE CAR IN FOR REPAIR AND THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THERE WERE NO ISSUES FOUND. UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS TOO LATE TO CANCEL THE PURCHASE, PER FLO I HAD SIGNED THE CONTRACT AND CANNOT CANCEL THE DEAL. AFTER BECOMING VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE CONTINUOUS ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, I CONTACTED CORPORATE CHRYSLER, IN WHICH CAITLIN CONTACTED ME AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT WITH RT1 CHRYSLER IN LAWRENCEVILLE NJ AROUND 7/2015, IN WHICH THEY STATED THAT THE AIR BAG HAD SPLICED WIRES. A FEW DAYS FROM TAKING THE VEHICLE HOME THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME BACK ON. I CONTACTED CAITLIN TO REPORT THAT THE ISSUE STILL EXIST IN WHICH SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I CALLED HER FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE CHRYSLER IN CHERRY HILL AND THE ONE IN LUMBERTON, ALL STATED NO ISSUES FOUND, EVEN AFTER BRINGING IT IN WHEN THE ALTERNATOR WENT ON IT. I ALSO BROUGHT IT IN TO THE CHRYSLER IN LUMBERTON SINCE THE CAR HAD LOST POWER/ENGINE KNOCKING AND THEY STATED NOTHING WAS WRONG UNTIL I BROUGHT IT BACK TO CHERRY HILL CHRYSLER AND THEY FOUND THAT IT WAS ENGINE PROBLEMS. CORPORATE CHRYSLER AND ALL THESE DEALERS HAVE CONTINUED CLAIMING THAT THEY CANNOT FIND ANY AIRBAG ISSUES OR WHEN THEY CLAIM THEY FIND SOMETHING, IT HAS BEEN REPAIRED BUT YET THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST. BOTTOM LINE, ALL THESE DEALERS AND CORPORATE CHRYSLER HAVE CONTINUED PUTTING MY LIFE, MY FAMILIES LIFE AND OTHERS IN DANGER. I FEAR FOR MY LIFE AND MY FAMILIES. THIS CAR IS NOTHING BUT A LUXURY LEMON AND CORPORATE CHRYSLER NEEDS TO REPLACE THE VEHICLE SINCE THEY CANNOT FIX IT.

WHILE ON HIGHWAY, MY RADIO TURNED OFF AND VEHICLE WENT INTO BATTERY SAVING MODE. AS I PROCEEDED TO EXIT THE HIGHWAY, THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTS STARTED TO FLICKER. I WENT TO AUTOZONE AND THE CAR BARELY MADE IT THERE. THE CAR SMELLED LIKE IF SOMETHING WAS BURNING UNDER THE HOOD. ONE OF THE ATTENDANTS CHECKED MY BATTERY AND SAID THE BATTERY WAS DRAINED, I HAD THEM RECHARGE IT. I HAD TO GET THE CAR TOWED SINCE THE CAR WAS INOPERABLE. I PICKED UP THE BATTERY THIS MORNING AND TURNED THE CAR ON, AND ALL THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM STARTED TO FLICKER SO I JUST TURNED OF THE CAR. I READ IN TO THE VEHICLES RECALLS AND I NOTICED THAT RECALL #P6O IS EXACTLY WHAT MY CAR WAS DOING LAST NIGHT. I CALLED CHRYSLER TODAY AND THEY REFUSE TO FIX IT DUE TO MY CAR NOT BEING AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL BUT IT OBVIOUSLY HAS BEEN. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO MAKE MY CAR PART OF THIS RECALL? IF SO WHAT STEPS CAN I TAKE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN? THE AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY FOR A PERIOD OF WEEKS UNTIL IT STAYS ON PERMANENTLY UNTIL REPAIRED BY THE DEALERSHIP. THE FIRST TWO TIMES THE DEALERSHIP HAS SAID THAT THE PART REPLACED IS THE SAME AS INDICATED ON RECALL 13V118000, YET, MY VIN DOES NOT APPLY TO THE RECALL. THE CURRENT FAILURE HAS NOT BEEN DUPLICATED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND THUS THEY REFUSE TO FIX IT. FURTHER, THE LIGHT WAS ON THE DAY PRIOR TO BRINGING IT IN FOR SERVICE, ON 9/22, YET THE DEALERSHIP FOUND NO CODES. THEY STATE THAT ANY TIME THE LIGHT COMES ON, A CODE IS STORED THAT IS NOT CLEARED UNTIL THE BATTERY IS REMOVED OR THE CODE IS CLEARED BY THEIR DIAGNOSTIC TOOL. THUS THE FINDING OF NO CODES STORED IS TROUBLING, AS THERE WOULD BE NO DISCERNIBLE EVIDENCE IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH AS TO WHY THE AIRBAG SYSTEM WAS FAILING PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT. CHRYSLER HAS ALREADY REPAIRED THE ISSUE TWICE UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY, AND I HAVE PAID THE DEDUCTIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS EACH TIME. THEY CONTINUE TO REPAIR THE AIRBAG SYSTEM WITH FAULTY PARTS.

I PURCHASED A "CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED" CHRYSLER 300S ON 02/14/14. FROM THE BEGINNING I HAD TO GO TO THE DEALER IN NUMEROUS OCCASIONS DUE TO TOO MANY ELECTRICAL ISSUES, INCLUDING AIR BAG LIGHT, SEAT BELT ALARM THAT WILL GO OFF WHEN NOTHING OR NOBODY WILL BE ON THE PASSENGER SEAT. I HAD TO TAKE A VIDEO WITH MY PHONE WHILE DRIVING FOR THEM TO SEE THAT I WAS NOT LYING AND THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE AIR BAG LIGHT. FINALLY THEY CHANGED SOMETHING THERE AND AT THE SAME TIME DISCONNECTED THE ALARM FOR THE SEAT BELT SO IT WOULDN'T GO OFF. WE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES IF THIS MAY BE A SAFETY ISSUE AND THEY TOLD US IT WAS NOT. THE CAR ALSO HAS A REAR SHADE THAT HAS TO BE REPAIRED ALREADY ONCE DURING WARRANTY, AND A SECOND TIME WHEN I HAD TO PAY FOR ITS REPAIR. IT IS NOT WORKING AGAIN SINCE MORE THAN A MONTH AGO. THE HANDS FREE SYSTEM IS ALSO NOT WORKING, AND IT HAS NOT WORKED RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING. I HAD COMPLAINED TO THEM THAT MY PHONE WAS NOT CONNECTING ALL THE TIME AND THEY KEPT SAYING IT WAS THE SATELLITE, THE PHONE, ETC. NOW OF COURSE IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL AND I WILL HAVE TO PAY $100 JUST FOR DIAGNOSTIC. I CALLED THEIR 800 NUMBER FOR THE CERTIFIED PREOWNED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY SAID IT IS THE HANDS-FREE MODULE THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS ALSO A VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE I NEED WORKING. I COMMUTE MORE THAN 53 MILES EVERY DAY AND HAVE CONFERENCE CALLS WHILE ON THE ROAD. THE REAR VIEW CAMERA IS ALSO NOT WORKING RIGHT. IT WORKS INTERMITTENTLY AND AGAIN, THIS WAS AN ISSUE WE MENTIONED TO THE DEALER WHILE THE CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY ALWAYS HAD AN EXCUSE WHY THAT WAS HAPPENING. THIS AGAIN IS ALSO A SAFETY FEATURE IMPORTANT FOR THE SAFETY OF THE CAR. THIS CAR HAS TOO MANY PROBLEMS THAT SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING TO A CAR THAT WAS CERTIFIED BY THE COMPANY TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITIONS AND THAT A YEAR AND 5 MONTHS LATER IS IN WORST SHAPE THAN MY 8 YEAR OLD MAGNUM. *TR
