I lost all power to my car randomly, i replaced my alternator, battery, and pcm as well as the pigtail harness for my alternator. the car has no power inside at all besides my taillights and brake lights stay on. i keep blowing fuses left and right the fuses that keep blowing are - asd feed #1, trans/shifter, hvac module/ cluster, amplifier, radio screen - this is a major issue that needs to be recalled especially with everything else electrical that was already recalled. thanks for your time
goes into 4th gear and will not shift up or down DTC P1DD2 gas leaking from sending unit area and fan wont kick on untilk 230F also has electrical problems

The air bags were replaced in my vehicle due to a recall. Now my air bag light is on and the buttons and horn do not work. The airbag clock spring is broken. The air bags were replaced by the dealership. Should the clock spring be replaced covered due to this issue?
Esc off light comes on and transmission does not shift has loss of power gets extremely bad gas mileage. Whole engine shakes and bucks as if misfiring., cruise control nor sport mode engage.
Car was stalling and had electrical issues. I paid to get it fixed but never knew there was a recall for my vehicles alternator. The vehicle battery dies fairly quickly from time to time still and every know and then I have to call AAA to jump my car and they say my battery is good. Chrysler's number for this recall is T36. I never received a noticed.

Was on my way home from work and car completely lost power as I was preceding to go after stopping at a stop sign. I was LITERALLY in the middle of the road. Car wouldn't crank AT ALL. Engine started OVERHEATING causing smoke to disburse from engine. NO WARNING LIGHTS before this occurred. A big truck was coming down the road and I had to exist the vehicle. Luckily a car wasn't in the other lane so the truck went on the other side of the road. I was terrified! I called 911 to get a deputy dispatch to direct traffic around my car to avoid mutiple COLLISION. I had to have my vehicle towed. I never want another Chrysler again these cars are UNSAFE. I could have died what if my child was in the car?! I took my car to a mechanic to put on computer scanner and it gave off SEVEN codes ALL due to ELECTRICAL ISSUES! CAR IS APPARENTLY STUCK IN LIMP MODE IDK I'M SO CONFUSED AND DISAPPOINTED. I reported the issue to Chrysler recall line and they did NOTHING.
The air bag light comes on n off with a passenger in the seat and also the shifter sometimes doesn’t shift into gear I have to unplug battery for 10 minutes to reset system that comes to the electrical situation
My vehicle stalls when placed from reverse to drive and the check engine light blinks and goes to Eco mode which makes the car shake. I’ve had a tuneup, oil change, brakes, O2 sensor and spark plugs replaced and the issues still exist. The car also will initiate skid control without warning or pressing the button which slows the car down and causes the engine to rev above 3-6rpm

I RECENTLY RAN INTO SOME MECHANICAL ISSUES THAT HAVE CONCERNED ME. THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS OR ANY INDICATION THAT I WAS HAVING ANY ISSUES MECHANICALLY. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER SAFELY AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. AFTER 15-20 MINUTES ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND A FEW PHONE CALLS TO A TOWING COMPANY I TRIED TO START THE VEHICLE AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP. I CONTACTED THE NEAREST DEALER TO ME 'ROCKY MOUNT CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT, LOCATED AT 1340 S WESLEYAN BLVD, ROCKY MOUNT, NC 27803 AT PHONE NUMBER 252-977-1340'. I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE MANAGER MY VEHICLE HAD ALREADY HAD THE RECALL FOR THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: ALTERNATOR/GENERATOR/REGULATOR COMPLETED AND THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY PROBLEMS. THIS WAS EVEN AFTER STATING THE ISSUE WHICH I CAUSED ME TO BE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. WHILE DRIVING DOWN A BUSY HIGHWAY MY CAR BEGAN TO HAVE ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THE LIGHTS BLINKING AND DISPLAY GOING IN AND OUT BEFORE THE VEHICLE CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. I HAD THREE CHILDREN ALL UNDER THE AGE OF FIVE.AFTER HAVING IT TOWED AND INSPECTED A REFURBISHED ALTERNATOR WAS PUT IN DUE TO A RECALL (NEW ONES WERE ON BACK ORDER). LAST WEEK MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT WHILE I WAS DRIVING. I COULDN'T MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL AT ALI. I CALLED THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO SEND ASSISTANCE TO NO AVAIL. I REPLACED THE POWER STEERING FUSE THE NEXT DAY AND AFTER DROPPING MY SON OFF TO SCHOOL, IT WENT OUT AGAIN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. LUCKILY, I HAD PURCHASED EXTRA FUSES IN THE EVENT IT WENT OUT AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT DID THE WORK BEFORE, WHERE THEY TOLD ME THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD FIX THAT PROBLEM WOULD BE TO REPLACE THE POWER STEERING PUMP BECAUSE ITS ELECTRICAL. HAVING ELECTRICAL ISSUES THAT AFFECT YOUR ABILITY TO OPERATE THE CAR WHILE YOU ARE OPERATING IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND FRIGHTENING ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE CHILDREN ABOARD.
MY 2012 CHRYSLER 300 LIMITED HAS HAD TWO RECALLS (T36 & V01) AT FIRST, THE POWER STEERING WAS AFFECTED AND THEN THE VEHICLE FINALLY DIED. I HAD TO STOP DRIVING THE CAR BEFORE IT DIED BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION WITH THE T36 RECALL AND FINALLY, I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO RENEW MY REGISTRATION. I SPOKE WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT GANELY CHRYSLER AURORA (FIRST JIM, THEN MAT). I REQUESTED AN APPOINTMENT REGARDING THE ALTERNATE RECALL. JIM STATED THAT SINCE THIS RECALL IS OVER A YEAR OLD, AND THE DEALERSHIP ONLY GETS ONE PART AT A TIME, I WOULD HAVE TO CALL IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO SEE IF THEY ARE ABLE TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE. I CALLED ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD ACTUALLY HAVE TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN SO THEY COULD LOOK AT MY PART NUMBER AND ORDER THE PART IF THEY DO NOT ALREADY HAVE IT ON HAND. RE: EXPERIENCE RECALL T36: I WAS TAKING AN EXIT OFF RAMP FROM THE HIGHWAY WHEN I COULD SMELL A BURNING SMELL. THE ABS, BATTERY AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STARTED BLINKING. MY SPEEDOMETER WAS MOVING UP AND DOWN, MY SCREEN STARTED BLINKING, WINDSHIELD WIPERS WENT ON ON ITS OWN AND MY CAR JUST LOCKED UP AND ALL LIGHTS COMPLETELY WENT OFF. STEERING AND BRAKES WAS NOT OPERABLE. AS I CAME DOWN THE HILLED RAMP I PULLED OVER (STEERING WHEEL) WAS HARD TO STEER, HOPING AND PRAYING THAT I DIDN'T HIT THE LIGHT POLE THAT WAS APPROX. 10 FT AWAY. THANK GOD THE CAR CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP ABOUT 5 FT AWAY FROM THE LIGHT POLE. I WAS NOT ABLE TO PUT THE CAR IN THE PARK POSITION. I CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND THE TOW TRUCK GUY COULDN'T GET THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL IN ORDER TO TOW IT! HE HAD TO OPEN UP SOMETHING BY THE SHIFTER TO FORCE IT TO GO INTO NEUTRAL. GOT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY QUOTED ME A $160 DIAGNOSTIC FEE. FOUND THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE ALTERNATOR WHICH ALSO KILLED MY BATTERY. MY CAR WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP AT ABOUT 10:30AM. THE SHUTTLE SERVICE BROUGHT ME TO WORK. BY 3PM I DIDNT GET ANY PHONE CALL REGARDING THE STATUS ON MY CAR, I CALLED THEM TO CHECK. THEY SAID IT WAS THE T36 RECALL -THE ALTERNATOR IS FAULTY THAT THEY WILL TRY TO GET THE NEW ALTERNATOR COVERED WITHOUT ME HAVING TO PAY ANYTHING OUT OF POCKET. THE CAR WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO BE REPAIRED UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. WELL TODAY IS THE NEXT DAY, THEY WILL REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR FREE OF CHARGE BUT IT'LL STILL BE A DEFECTIVE ONE BECAUSE I WILL STILL HAVE TO COME BACK TO THE DEALER "WHEN THEY GET THE RIGHT ALTERNATOR" AND REPLACE IT AGAIN! GOT BACK IN THE CAR TURNED THE CAR OFF THEN ON AGAIN AND PULLED OFF. 5 MILES FROM MY GIRLFRIENDS JOB I'M BACK ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 60-65 THE CAR IS STILL WHINING THE ELECTRONICS STARTED TO FLICKER EVERYTHING THE NEEDLES EVERYTHING JUST KEPT FLASHING OR FAILED UNTIL THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP I COULDN'T BREAK OR GAS BUT THE CAR WAS STILL ON AND MOVING. I WAS ONLY ABLE TO SLOWLY WORK MY WAY TO THE SHOULDER WHERE I APPLIED THE EMERGENCY BREAK TO STOP THE CAR COMPLETELY. I TRIED JUMPING THE CAR BUT THE WIRES MELTED WHICH CAUSED A LITTLE ALARM BECAUSE THE CABLES WHERE CONNECTED CORRECTLY. GOT A TOW HOME. ON MY OWN I REMOVED THE BATTERY WENT TO HAVE IT CHARGED IT WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE I BOUGHT A NEW ONE. OVER $200. UPON CONNECTING THE NEW BATTERIES NEG CONNECTION WHICH I DID AFTER CONNECTING THE POS. CONNECTOR I EXPERIENCED A HUGE AMOUNT OF SPARKING WHICH ACTUALLY ATE AWAY SUM OF THE BATTERIES NEG. CONNECT...YES ATE THE METAL KNOB...MEDAL PIECES LIKE DUST AROUND IT NOW BUT I DON'T THINK I DAMAGED THE BATTERY. I CHECKED THE GROUNDING IT WAS ALL GOOD OR SO IT SEEMED. I REMOVED THE ALTERNATOR TOOK IT TO AUTO ZONE BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT HAS TO BE TESTED IN THE VEHICLE WITH THE CAR RUNNING...WHICH I CLEARLY CANNOT START. I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP, AND I AM WAITING ON THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST TO BE COMPLETED. I HAVE DONE SOME RESEARCH ON RECALLS FOR MY MODEL CAR, AND SOME 2012 CHYSLER 300 HUNDREDS WERE RECALLED FOR A SPECIFIC PROBLEM DEALING WITH THE 160 VOLT ALTENATOR. I HAVE SEEN MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE, CHYSLER IS NOT RECALLING ANY MODELS WITH THE 180 VOLT ALTENATOR. I AM ASSUMING BECAUSE MY CAR DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE RECALL NOTICE ON IT, THAT MY CAR HAS 180 VOLT ALTENATOR ON IT. IF THAT IS THE CASE? I HAVE READ OVER 300 COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE 180 VOLT ALTENATOR. I WAS LUCKY THAT I HAD JUST GOTTEN OF THE FREEWAY AND WAS NOT GOING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER:14V634000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AND STATED THAT THE PART NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CAR BEGAN TO SHUT DOWN, FIRST THE RADIO, THEN INSIDE PANEL LIGHTS, HEADLIGHTS, AIRBAG WARNING LIGHTS, BRAKE LIGHTS, WINDSHIELD WIPERS UP, AND CAR SLAMMED INTO PARK WHILE MOVING. FELT LIKE WE WERE REAR ENDED. VERY SCARY. LUCKILY, WE WERE ABLE TO COAST DOWNHILL OFF THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY, BARELY MAKING IT OFF, WITH THE BACKEND OF THE CAR IN JEOPARDY OF BEING HIT. SINCE PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT CHRYSLER, LITTLE FALLS NJ OF 2014, I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES. FROM ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, TO THE AIRBAG ISSUES, TO LATER SPENDING OVER 1300 IN REPAIRING THE ALTERNATOR. WITHIN THE 1ST FEW DAYS OF THE PURCHASE THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME ON IN WHICH I IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT THE CAR IN FOR REPAIR AND THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THERE WERE NO ISSUES FOUND. UNFORTUNATELY, IT WAS TOO LATE TO CANCEL THE PURCHASE, PER FLO I HAD SIGNED THE CONTRACT AND CANNOT CANCEL THE DEAL. AFTER BECOMING VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE CONTINUOUS ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, I CONTACTED CORPORATE CHRYSLER, IN WHICH CAITLIN CONTACTED ME AND SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT WITH RT1 CHRYSLER IN LAWRENCEVILLE NJ AROUND 7/2015, IN WHICH THEY STATED THAT THE AIR BAG HAD SPLICED WIRES. A FEW DAYS FROM TAKING THE VEHICLE HOME THE AIR BAG LIGHT CAME BACK ON. I CONTACTED CAITLIN TO REPORT THAT THE ISSUE STILL EXIST IN WHICH SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I CALLED HER FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE CHRYSLER IN CHERRY HILL AND THE ONE IN LUMBERTON, ALL STATED NO ISSUES FOUND, EVEN AFTER BRINGING IT IN WHEN THE ALTERNATOR WENT ON IT. I ALSO BROUGHT IT IN TO THE CHRYSLER IN LUMBERTON SINCE THE CAR HAD LOST POWER/ENGINE KNOCKING AND THEY STATED NOTHING WAS WRONG UNTIL I BROUGHT IT BACK TO CHERRY HILL CHRYSLER AND THEY FOUND THAT IT WAS ENGINE PROBLEMS. CORPORATE CHRYSLER AND ALL THESE DEALERS HAVE CONTINUED CLAIMING THAT THEY CANNOT FIND ANY AIRBAG ISSUES OR WHEN THEY CLAIM THEY FIND SOMETHING, IT HAS BEEN REPAIRED BUT YET THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I AM SENDING A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE 2012 CHRYSLER 300'S AND THE SAFETY ISSUES ASSOCIATED. MY VEHICLE HAS SOME SORT OF ELECTRICAL ISSUE. THIS ELECTRICAL ISSUE USED TO SPORADICALLY AFFECT MY VEHICLE IN VARIOUS WAY, HOWEVER LATELY THE ISSUES HAVE BECOME MORE FREQUENT AND AGGRESSIVE. THE FREQUENT AND AGGRESSIVE ACTIVITY ARE AS FOLLOWS: SOMETIMES MY BLUETOOTH WILL NOT CONNECT SO I WOULD TURN OFF AND RESTART THE VEHICLE AND THE BLUETOOTH WOULD IMMEDIATELY CONNECT. SOMETIMES THE POWER SEATS WILL NOT HEAT. I WOULD PULL OVER TURN OFF THE CAR AND RESTART THE VEHICLE AND IT WOULD START HEATING UP. SOMETIMES THE BACK-UP CAMERA FLICKERS AND HAS A SEVERELY DISTORTED IMAGE. SOMETIME THE IMAGE OF THE CAMERA IS PERFECTLY CRYSTAL CLEAR. THE MAIN CONCERN IS MY POWER STEERING IS ELECTRIC AND I DO NOT HAVE A POWER STEERING PUMP. WHEN I AM DRIVING AND MAKING A TURN OUT OF NO WHERE THE STEERING GETS REALLY TIGHT AND I ALMOST HAVE TO FORCE THE CAR TO TURN. WHEN I PARK THE CAR AND LET IT SIT FOR A WHILE THEN THE STEERING IS FINE AGAIN. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. SINCE 2013 I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH MY CAR. FIRST IN 2013 IT WAS VERY SPORADIC. THIS YEAR IN JANUARY 2016 THE FAN WAS NOT BLOWING AND THERE WAS NOT HEAT IN THE VEHICLE. I TURN THE CAR OF AND RESTARTED IT AND THE FAN BEGAN TO BLOW IMMEDIATELY. LAST WEEK MY STEERING WHEEL FELT LIKE IT WAS NOT GOING TO COMPLETE MY LEFT TURN AND GOT REALLY TIGHT. YESTERDAY AS I WAS DRIVING MY ACCELERATOR AND BRAKE BEGAN TO FEEL VERY TIGHT AS IF THEY WERE BOTH GETTING STIFF AND THE SUSPENSION STARTED GETTING VERY TIGHT THEN AS I WAS BACKING INTO A PARKING SPACE MY BACKUP CAMERA STARTED FLICKERING LIKE POLTERGEIST. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO CHECK IT I NEEDED A BATTERY OR A NEW ALTERNATOR AND THEY SAID NOPE. MY BATTERY, MY ALTERNATOR AND STARTED ARE ALL GOOD. I HAVE BEEN TWO DIFFERENT PLACES AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAVE AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE THAT HAS JUST GONE BAD OVER TIME. I TRIED TO HAVE SOMEONE LOOK INTO IT IN 2013, BUT ANYTIME SOMEONE HELD ONTO THE VEHICLE NOTHING HAPPENED. I JUST SPOKE TO ANOTHER MECHANIC AND THEY SAID I MAY NEED A NEW PCM. CLEARLY THE ISSUE IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ONES THAT WERE RECALLED, I HAVE SEEN SO MANY OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS!!!! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, SUPER DANGEROUS BEING THAT MY SON AND I WERE LOCKED IN THE VEHICLE WHILE THE ALTERNATOR IS JUST SMOKING AWAY!!!! THANKFULLY HIS BACK WINDOW WAS DOWN AND HE CRAWLED OUT!! I READ IN TO THE VEHICLES RECALLS AND I NOTICED THAT RECALL #P6O IS EXACTLY WHAT MY CAR WAS DOING LAST NIGHT. I CALLED CHRYSLER TODAY AND THEY REFUSE TO FIX IT DUE TO MY CAR NOT BEING AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL BUT IT OBVIOUSLY HAS BEEN. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO MAKE MY CAR PART OF THIS RECALL? IF SO WHAT STEPS CAN I TAKE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN? IN 2015, A LETTER WAS SENT TO CERTAIN CHRYSLER 300 OWNERS WHOSE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH A 3.6L ENGINE AND A 160 AMP ALTERNATOR TO TAKE THEIR VEHICLE TO A CHRYSLER DEALER AND GET THE ALTERNATOR REPLACED, FREE OF CHARGE. THOSE OF US WITH A 180 AMP ALTERNATOR DID NOT QUALIFY. THOSE OF US WITH THE 180 AMP ALTERNATOR DID NOT QUALIFY. THE SAME PROBLEM THAT EXISTED WITH THE 160 AMP, ALSO EXIST WITH THE 180 AMP ALTERNATOR. I ALSO HAVE A LIFE- TIME WARRANTY, BUT I HAD TO PAY FOR THE BATTERY.

I WAS REIMBURSED BY CHRYSLER. PLEASE NOTE HERE THAT THIS IS A BASE MODEL. THAT ALTERNATOR RECENTLY FAILED AS WELL AFTER JUST OVER A YEAR. THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AND THEN WENT OFF FOR A FEW DAYS. IT CAME BACK ON AND STAYED ON THIS TIME. HAD IT TESTED AND WAS TOLD THE ALTERNATOR WAS AGAIN FAILING. THIS ALTERNATOR COST 485.00, LUCKILY WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY. PERHAPS IT IS NOT JUST THE TYPE OF ALTERNATORS CHRYSLER USED, BUT A MORE COMPLEX PROBLEM TO BE INVESTIGATED HERE.

ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS, AS THE CAR HEATS UP, THE ABS FUSE SEEMS TO LOSE CONTACT. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, ABS/ESP (STABILITY CONTROL), FORWARD COLLISION WARNING, AND ADAPTIVE CRUISE DISABLE. IT HAS HAPPENED BOTH WHILE STATIONARY AND MOVING. IF USING ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, ACCELERATION AND SPEED MAINTENANCE WILL STOP, AND COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT (THOUGH IT HAS NOT YET). A SIMILAR CHRYSLER CASE HAS BEEN OPENED AND LINKED TO THE POLICE VARIANT OF A CAR ON THE SAME PLATFORM WITH SAME ENGINE. POLICE CARS USE DODGE CHARGERS WITH HEMI V8, WHICH IS THE SAME PLATFORM AS THE CHRYSLER 300 WITH A HEMI V8, WITH MOSTLY COSMETIC ISSUES. THE FUSE IS NOT BLOWN, AND UPON THE CAR COOLING DOWN, THE SYSTEM IS RESTORED, HOWEVER, ON JOURNEYS IN WHICH THE ENGINE HEAT RISES, THE SYSTEM GOES OFFLINE. IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THIS MAY BE A COMMON ISSUE IN THIS PLATFORM, HOWEVER, THE TSB ONLY WENT TO THE POLICE CAR VARIANT OF ESSENTIALLY THE SAME CAR. WHEN THE ISSUE HAPPENS WHILE THE CAR IS MOVING, IF THE DRIVER HAS THE BRAKES APPLIED, A BANG/GRIND/SCRAPE SOUND (SUCH AS WHAT IS HEARD WHEN THE ABS ACTUALLY ENGAGES) CAN BE HEARD.

I WAS DRIVING MY VEHICLE ON A CITY STREET WHEN SUDDENLY IT STARTED TO ACT STRANGE. THE VEHICLE STABILITY WARNING LIGHT WENT ON AND I BEGAN TO QUICKLY LOSE POWER AND CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. A BURNING SMELL WAS DETECTED AND THE POWERTRAIN BEGAN TO MAKE UNUSUAL NOISES. OTHER WARNING LIGHTS BEGAN POPPING RANDOMLY AND THE WIPERS STARTED ON ITS OWN. THE VEHICLE THEN STALLED AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. ALL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. SMELLED LIKE SOMETHING HAD BURNED UP UNDER THE HOOD. I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED CHRYSLER ROADSIDE SERVICE AND HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. THE CHRYSLER SERVICE DEPARTMENT LATER EXAMINED THE VEHICLE AND SAID THE ALTERNATOR HAD BURNED UP. THE ALTERNATOR ALSO CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY BATTERY. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT INDICATED IT WOULD COST APPROXIMATELY $1,000 TO REPAIR BOTH. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ALSO INDICATED THIS REPAIR IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY OR RECALL. I TOLD THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT I WAS AWARE CHRYSLER HAD RECALLED ALMOST 1/2 MILLION VEHICLE FOR THE SAME EXACT ALTERNATOR PROBLEM (RECALL P60). I CONTACTED CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY INDICATED NOTHING CAN BE DONE BECAUSE MY VEHICLE WAS NOT ON THE P60 RECALL LIST. THEY PROVIDED ME A CASE NUMBER FOR THE INITIAL ROADSIDE SERVICE/TOW (#28743527) AND INDICATED NO OTHER CASE NUMBER WOULD BE GENERATED. ALTHOUGH MY VEHICLE IS NOT ON CHRYSLER'S RECALL LIST, THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED BY MY VEHICLE WAS IDENTICAL TO THE ALTERNATOR/ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED IN OTHER CHRYSLER VEHICLES HAVING THE SAME MODEL/ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.

I SENT DO DEALER TO BE TOLD IT WAS THE ALTERNATOR WHICH IS VERY SCARY THAT THE CAR COULD DO THIS IF THE ALTERNATOR GOES. I SEEN THERE WAS A RECALL ON MY MODEL CAR BUT NOT FOR THE ONE I HAVE BUT SEEMS TO BE THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE PREVIOS RECALL FOR THE ALTERNATORS.

FROM THE BEGINNING I HAD TO GO TO THE DEALER IN NUMEROUS OCCASIONS DUE TO TOO MANY ELECTRICAL ISSUES, INCLUDING AIR BAG LIGHT, SEAT BELT ALARM THAT WILL GO OFF WHEN NOTHING OR NOBODY WILL BE ON THE PASSENGER SEAT. I HAD TO TAKE A VIDEO WITH MY PHONE WHILE DRIVING FOR THEM TO SEE THAT I WAS NOT LYING AND THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE AIR BAG LIGHT. FINALLY THEY CHANGED SOMETHING THERE AND AT THE SAME TIME DISCONNECTED THE ALARM FOR THE SEAT BELT SO IT WOULDN'T GO OFF. WE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES IF THIS MAY BE A SAFETY ISSUE AND THEY TOLD US IT WAS NOT. THE CAR ALSO HAS A REAR SHADE THAT HAS TO BE REPAIRED ALREADY ONCE DURING WARRANTY, AND A SECOND TIME WHEN I HAD TO PAY FOR ITS REPAIR. IT IS NOT WORKING AGAIN SINCE MORE THAN A MONTH AGO. THE HANDS FREE SYSTEM IS ALSO NOT WORKING, AND IT HAS NOT WORKED RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING. I HAD COMPLAINED TO THEM THAT MY PHONE WAS NOT CONNECTING ALL THE TIME AND THEY KEPT SAYING IT WAS THE SATELLITE, THE PHONE, ETC. NOW OF COURSE IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL AND I WILL HAVE TO PAY $100 JUST FOR DIAGNOSTIC. I CALLED THEIR 800 NUMBER FOR THE CERTIFIED PREOWNED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY SAID IT IS THE HANDS-FREE MODULE THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS ALSO A VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE I NEED WORKING. I COMMUTE MORE THAN 53 MILES EVERY DAY AND HAVE CONFERENCE CALLS WHILE ON THE ROAD. THE REAR VIEW CAMERA IS ALSO NOT WORKING RIGHT. IT WORKS INTERMITTENTLY AND AGAIN, THIS WAS AN ISSUE WE MENTIONED TO THE DEALER WHILE THE CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY ALWAYS HAD AN EXCUSE WHY THAT WAS HAPPENING. THIS AGAIN IS ALSO A SAFETY FEATURE IMPORTANT FOR THE SAFETY OF THE CAR.
