As I was driving my car felt like if it went on neutral. I almost crashed. Stopped. Then it would not come off of park. I kept putting it on drive and it automatically kept going into park mode. The car was still running though. And turns on. It still wont drive. Turns on but doesn't go onto drive mode.
My backup camera works when it wants to mostly not at all. It just flickers when I put the car in reverse. I really need it because of the blind spots. Also since the fuel issue was recalled and fixed my car smells like it's not burning the gas properly. In other words I can smell fumes.

The contact stated that the check engine, transmission, and traction control warning lights were illuminated. The contact pulled over and was able to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed and determined that the engine failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V741000 (Electrical System) and referred the contact to the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the cruise control had failed, and the light was constantly showing that the cruise control was engaged; however, the contact stated that the cruise control was not activated. The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18E053000 (Power Train). The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 89,000.

The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler 300. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the vehicle made a sudden stop with the traction control warning light and the electrical system warning light was illuminated. The contact turned off the vehicle and attempted to restart the vehicle; however, the vehicle would not restart. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and the mechanic replaced the electronic throttle control system and the electronic sensor; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the mechanic several times because the failure reoccurred several times. The dealer was contacted and stated that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 125,000.

I have a 2014 Chrysler 300 S the Oil Filter Housing Is Leaking on and around wiring that could cause the warm or hot oil to leak on wires and cause an electrical engine fire the Manufacturer was contacted and they stated that my Vin Number was not included with the recall that was already issued and because my Vin was not included Manufacturer refused to repair the issue
On or about February 17, 2022, the referenced 300C was taken to Elk Grove Chrysler due to a malfunction with the electronic shift. The car jumped into Park while in motion which was a Safety risk to others as well as myself. After consulting with service team, I was informed that the car had to undergo a diagnostic. A day later I was informed that there was a fault with the electronic shift which required repaired; however, parts were not in stock at this location. I was informed parts had to be ordered and would take approximately 2-3 weeks due to logistical issues. On Monday, February 28, 2022, technician reported that a part was received for the upper mechanism; however, it was determined that the lower mechanism needed repair. With this being said, these are the concerns I would like to address due to disagreement with the process. 1. This electronic shift was previously repaired in May 2014, due to recall. This issue could have resulted in a major safety issue. 2. Why is a Consumer paying for a "Repair to a Repair?" 3. As a Consumer with a low mileage vehicle under 59,000, why must I be responsible to pay Chrysler for a repair that is a "Safety Issue" and a factory recall issue. Obviously, this is a manufacture concern created by Chrysler. This was due to no fault of the consumer. In closing, as a Disabled widowed Senior Citizen having the car jump into parking during my travels affected my anxiety; causing a panic attack. This repair issue is affecting my health and livelihood. I have been without a vehicle and a means to take care of quality of life tasks. Thank you for your time and attention to my concern.
I have been having trouble with my cruise control lately. If I start my car remotely and then drive my cruise control won't turn on unless I hold down all 4 buttons on my steering wheel. When this happens I also end up having difficulties disengaging it and there will be a 1-2 mph difference from what the cruise speed is set as to what speed the vehicle is actually traveling. I noticed there was a safety recall in regards to this issue that was issued on 05/17/2018 but my Vin didn't register for that recall so I'm wondering if my car was missed or if there are more vehicles like mine having this same issue that wasn't taken care of in the last recall issued.
From a red light, I proceeded through intersection once light turned green. My engine stalled & coasted to outside highway lane with no warning lights ot any other sign of a problem. I parked on the shoulder and the car did not re-start. Twenty minutes later, It re-started with no further problems.
Normally when u turn on the car it says press the brake pedal to start engine in the message, but in my situation it says press clutch pedal to start engine but the problem is that my car is an automatic my car doesn't have clutch what can I do?

DRIVER HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH BACKUP CAMERA SINCE THE CAR WAS PURCHASED IN 2016. ORIGINALLY, THE CAMERA WOULD JUST GO IN AND OUT. A BLACK SCREEN WOULD SHOW UP ON THE MONITOR ONCE THE CAR WAS PUT INTO REVERSE. THIS WAS MENTIONED TO THE DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT THE CAMERA WOULD NEVER ACT UP WHEN I WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP. THE DRIVER WAS ALSO TOLD THAT AN UPDATE WOULD EVENTUALLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM, WHICH IT DID NOT. WHEN THE CAR IS PUT INTO REVERSE NOW, THE PICTURE ON THE MONITOR FROM THE BACK UP CAMERA IS ACTUALLY FLIPPED ON THE MONITOR. SO WHAT IS ACTUALLY ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CAR, SHOWS UP ON THE LEFT SIDE. RECENTLY WHEN GETTING RECALLS FOR THE VEHICLE TAKEN CARE OF, THE DRIVER FOUND OUT THAT THE BACK UP CAMERA WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED IN 2015. THIS WAS PRIOR TO THE CAR BEING PURCHASED IN 2016. THESE PROBLEMS WERE BROUGHT UP TO THE DEALERSHIP, TELEGRAPH CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE IN TAYLOR, MI. THE BACK UP CAMERA WAS BROUGHT UP TO THE DEALERSHIP WHEN THE CAR WAS UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY, NOW IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN AS THE PERCEPTION IN THE BACK UP CAMERA COULD DECEIVE THE DRIVER.

THE SOLUTION CHANGE WAS CREATED ON 09/12/2014 TO PERFORM A NIK CHANGE FOR THE FAULTY 160AMP TO SOLVE THE ISSUE, THIS WAS DONE WITH 6322-04098-CCD FOR 2015 + FUTURE MODEL YEARS. THE PART NUMBER FOR THE AMP WAS 04801779AG AND THIS CHANGE WAS MAKING IT 04801779AH. HOWEVER, MY 2014 CHRYSLER 300 THAT HAD THE ALTERNATOR GO OUT ON IT 04/11/2017, HAD THE PN 04801779AG. MY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE CUT OFF DATE ON THE RECALL WAS ANY BUILDOUT MY 2011-2014 BEFORE DECEMBER 23, 2013. I WAS INFORMED MY CAR WAS BUILT OUT THE FOLLOWING MONTH. BUT IF THE PART WAS NEVER CHANGED OUT OF THE PLANT AND WAS NEVER CAUGHT UNTIL AFTER MY VEHICLE WAS BUILT, THEN WHY IS MY VEHICLE NOT APART OF THE RECALL? ONCE WHILE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY MY CAR STOPPED WHILE TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED AND WENT INTO PARK ON ITS OWN, I NOTIFIED THE TOWING COMPANY AND IT HAD TO BE TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP. WHILE AT A DEALERSHIP I WAS NOTIFIED OF A DEFECT AND THEY STATED THEY WOULD FIX IT. ON A SECOND OCCASION WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PARK IN MY DRIVEWAY THE CAR CONTINUED TO PUT ITSELF IN PARK AND WHILE TRYING TO REVERSE MY CAR WENT INTO PARK. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS I AGAIN CONTACTED A TOWING COMPANY WHERE THEY TOWED ME TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY AGAIN ATTEMPTED TO FIX THE TRANSMISSION. AGAIN AFTER 2 YEARS I AM STILL FEARFUL TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE. I HAVE MADE ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP TO NO AVAIL. MY VEHICLE CONTINUES TO MOVE FROM DRIVE TO PARK AND VISE VERSA. I WAS TOLD THAT THE CHRYSLER 300, 2014, WAS UNDER RECALL, BUT I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF THE RECALL, I ASSUME, SINCE THE CAR WAS UNDER A LEASE AGREEMENT. I SHUT THE ENGINE AND EXITED THE CAR TO MAKE A CELL PHONE CALL. WHILE DRIVING HOME I THE NAVIGATION MAP WAS INTERMITTENTLY GLITCHING, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ICONS SOME MISSING MANY FLASHING. ALSO NO CELL PHONE. THE DEALER CLAIMED THE PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED, BUT THE WORK ORDER STATED 181905A1 TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE, SOFTWARE FLASHED. I ASSUMED THE PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED BUT BECAUSE IT TOOK PLACE ONLY ONE MONTH OLD CAR, I BECAME APPREHENSIVE. THEY NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT THE ELECTRONIC/TIPM FAILURES THAT OCCURRED WITH THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. AT THIS TIME I HAD NO IDEA WHAT A TIPM WAS ! SLIGHTLY MORE THAN ONE MONTH LATER MY VEHICLE FAILED AGAIN THAT WAS A TIPM FAILURE.

THE TIPM FAILED 1 MONTH LATER IN JAN 2015, WHILE DRIVING ON AN EXPRESSWAY THE CAR LOST POWER. I WAS FORTUNATE I WAS NOT REAR ENDED. IN MARCH 2015 LOST NAVIGATION AND PHONE PARING. AT THAT TIME THEY TRIED TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND KEPT MY CAR FOR 18 DAYS. AGAIN THEY SENT ME ON MY WAY AND NEVER WOULD ADMIT THE TIPM IS AT FAULT. VEHICLE WAS IN CRUISE CONTROL MODE SET AT 70MPH. VEHICLE IN FRONT OF MINE WAS GOING SLOWER MY VEHICLE SLOWED DOWN AUTOMATICALLY AS IT IS DESIGNED TO DO. I PROCEEDED TO LEFT LANE TO PASS THE OTHER VEHICLE (TRUCK) AS I BEGAN PASSING MY VEHICLE ACCELERATED TO A SPEED OF OVER 85MPH WITHOUT MY TOUCHING EITHER THE GAS PEDAL OR THE RES BUTTON OF THE CRUISE FEATURE. I THEN HAD TO CANCEL THE CRUISE CONTROL FEATURE AND BRAKE THE CAR TO SLOW DOWN. IT WAS TERRIFYING. THIS HAPPENED MORE THEN ONCE DURING MY TRIP. I HAD THE VEHICLE INTO CHRYSLER BEFORE BECAUSE THE COMPUTER TURNED THE HEATED SEAT FEATURE AND HEATED STEERING WHEEL FEATURE ON WITHOUT MY TOUCHING THE BUTTONS.
