THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THE ISSUE IS TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE GAS TANK, WHICH IS COST PROHIBITIVE FOR MANY PEOPLE. I AM SURPRISED THAT THERE HASN'T BEEN ANY SERIOUS FIRES AND/OR FATALITIES DUE TO THIS ISSUE. DO WE REALLY NEED TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO BE SERIOUSLY HURT OR DIE BEFORE TAKING ACTION? NO OTHER CAR MANUFACTURERS SEEM TO BE HAVING THIS PROBLEM WITH AS MUCH REGULARITY AS CHRYSLER HAS. GIVEN THE TRAGIC EVENTS THAT HAVE UNFOLDED OVER THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS THE LAST THING I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT OR EXPERIENCE IS MORE CHILDREN KILLED OR SERIOUSLY INJURED FROM A WELL KNOWN AND DOCUMENTED PROBLEM.
