TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 CHRYSLER CIRRUS. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO START HER VEHICLE, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC AND HE STATED THAT THE MODULATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED A MONTH LATER. THERE IS A ROD ON THE REAR DRIVER SIDE THAT IS SUPPOSED TO HOLD THE WHEEL IN PLACE, BUT IT HAS RUSTED. THE ROD FELL APART AND THE CONTACT HAD IT REPLACED. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, SHE NOTICED THAT THE BRAKELINE WAS LEAKING BRAKE FLUID ONTO THE GROUND. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A MECHANIC AND HAD IT REPAIRED. THE VIN, ENGINE SIZE, NUMBER OF CYLINDERS, POWERTRAIN, AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 63,742.
I'VE HAD MY ENGINE CHECKED BACK IN MAY OF 05 BY THE DEALER THEY SAID IT WAS ENGINE MISFIRE,THE DISTRIBUTOR IGNITION WAS BAD. THEY CHARGED ME $321 JUST TO CHECK IT,THEN I PAID $276 TO GET IT FIXED. THE CAR HAS HAD A DRIP EVER SINCE. IN THE PAST 6 TO 8 MONTHS OR LONGER I'VE HAD A DRIP FROM THE ENGINE THAT CAN'T BE FIXED , I RECENTLY HAD MY CAR WORKED ON IT WAS IN THE SHOP FOR A MONTH IT COST ME $2500 TO REPAIR AND IT STILL HAS A LEAK. IT'S BACK THERE AGAIN BECAUSE IT NEEDS THAT EXPANSION PLUG AND RETAINING BRACKET THAT ONLY THE DEALER CAN PROVIDE ACCORDING TO EVERY SITE BUT THE PLACE THE CAR COMES FROM. I'M ALSO HAVING TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS WHICH I'VE HAD SINCE I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE. BECAUSE I NEED A SHIFT MECHANISM AND CABLE FROM THE DEALER ACCORDING TO EVERY SITE BUT WHERE THE CAR COMES FROM. A FEW OF THE PROBLEMS THAT ARE ON THE LIST I'VE EITHER GOT FIXED OR GOT AN ESTIMATE FOR.(ONE ) OF THE PROBLEMS ON THE LIST ,THE DEALER SENT SOMETHING IN THE MAIL AND I GOT IT TAKEN CARE OF BY THE DEALER,IT WAS THE( TRANS. WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE, IT SUDDENLY SOUNDED LIKE THERE WAS AN INCREASE IN ROAD NOISE, THEN SUDDENLY THERE WAS A PUFF OF SMOKE FROM THE BACK AND THE NOISE DISAPPEARED. STOPPING TO CHECK, MY MASTER CYLINDER WAS HALF-EMPTY. PER CHRYSLER DEALER WHO REPAIRED IT, ""RIGHT REAR BRAKE CAME APART (CYLINDER BLOWN AND SPRINGS BROKEN)." WHEN IT FAILED, IT ALSO DAMAGED RIGHT REAR TONE WHEEL AND SENSOR, MAKING THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES INOPERATIVE. THERE WAS NO WARNING BEFORE THIS CATASTROPHIC BRAKE FAILURE. *JB

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM-GAS GAUGE SHOWS EMPTY WHEN CAR IS FULL, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, RADIO IN CAR WOULD GO OFF WHEN YOU HIT A BUMP, FINALLY STOP WORKING ,DASH LIGHTS COME ON AND OFF. AIR CONDITIONER-HAVE HAD SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH AIR CONDITIONER, HAVE HAD DIFFERENT PARTS REPLACED,WHEN SITTING WITH AIR ON CAR TRIES TO GO DIED. TRANSMISSION- CAR LEAKS FLUID, CAN'T FIND SPOT, WHILE DRIVING UP A HILL TRANSMISSION WILL SLIP IS HARD TO PULL, HAVE HAD MANY PROBLEMS OUT OF CAR AND SENT TO CAR REPAIR SHOP MANY TIMES. *AK

THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE ON THE HYDRAUDLIC SECQUENCING VALVE WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE. THE ECM MODULE WAS DEFECTIVE. THE FUEL PUMP ELECTRICAL 4-PIN CONNECTOR ON THE FUEL PUMP WITHIN THE FUEL TANK SHOWED DISCOLORATION . THE FUEL TANK LOW LEVEL LIGHT WAS 'ADJUSTED', NEVER HAS BEEN ACCURATE. FUEL
BENDIX ANTILOCK BRAKES FAILED CAUSING THEM TO MAKE GRINDING NOISE. NLM
ABS BRAKES NOT OPERABLE, INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCE. ABS LIGHT ON CONSTANTLY SINCE DATE INDICATED, DEALERS SAY NO SAFETY ISSUE AND WILL NOT REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY. NOTIFICATION TO CHRYSLER CORP.
