I was driving my car and fault something wrong with the steering and went to make a right turn I heard a noise and my car front passenger side of my car was on the ground and my wheel was under my car. Thank goodness for no one else being involved that day and thank God I wasn't hurt badly... I have never seen or have anything like that to happen to me... I'm glad my children wasn't with me... I'm glad I wasn't traveling down the road when that happened.....
was driving down the road with no warning car popped and made loud noise.. the left front of the car dropped down and steering was un responsive and came to a stop made a clunking sound when trying to move it out of road but was unsuccessful...
I WAS NOT INFORMED OF A RECALL AND ME AND MY SON WERE IN THE VEHICLE DRIVING AND IT STARTED HOPPING ALMOST AS IF IT HAD HYDRAULIC. I TOLD MY SON TO FASTEN HIS SEAT BELT CONSIDERING WE WERE JUST LEAVING THE STORE AND PULLING ONTO A BUSY HIGHWAY. IT CONTINUED TO WOBBLE AND I SPED UP TO GET OFF THE HWY AND THEN HEN THE JUMPING REAL HIGH AND HARD BEGAN I WAS GOING MAYBE 45 MPH AND THE AXLE OR BALLPOINT HAD SNAPPED CAUSING THE CAR WHEEL TO LOCK UP AND CAUSE ME TO RUN IN THE DITCH LUCKILY NO ONE WAS HARMED BUT WE WERE VERY INTERESTED MUCH SO SHAKEN UP.. I HAD NO ISSUE OUT OF THAT TIRE OR BALL JOINT BEFORE AND I AM NEEDING TO KNOW WHAT I NEED TO DO TO START MY INVESTIGATION... ME AND MY SON ARE HAPPY NO ONE WAS INJURED TOO BAD. *TR

THERE WAS A RECALL THAT BEGAN ON JANUARY 28, 2011 FOR BAD BALL JOINTS. I BOUGHT THE CAR IN DEC 2010 IN BETWEEN RECALLS 2009 -2011. NEVER GOT A RECALL NOTICE FOR THIS. ON NOVEMBER 16 TH 2012 MY BALL JOINT BROKE MY CAR WENT OUT OF CONTROL ALMOST HIT TWO PHONE POLES HAD MY FAMILY IN THE CAR. LIKELY WE WERE NOT HURT OR KILLED. CHRYSLER NEEDS TO STEP UP AND FIX MY CAR FOR PUTTING BAD BALL JOINTS ON IT . THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS IN 2001-2009-2011 CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO HAVE CHRYSLER FIX MY CAR. *TR

THERE A RECALL ON 10-13-2009 FOR BAD BALL JOINTS. I BOUGHT THE CAR IN 12-2010 NEVER GOT A RECALL NOTICE ON BALL JOINTS. ON NOV-16-2012-WE WERE DRIVING WITH MY 9 YR OLD AND 10 YEAR OLD WITH NO WARNING THE BALL JOINT BROKE ON DRIVER SIDE WHEEL . CAR WENT OUT OF CONTROL WE ALMOST HIT TWO PHONE POLES THE CAR WENT INTO A FIELD. THE WHEEL IS NOW HANGING OFF CAR NOT DRIVEABLE. NOBODY WAS HURT IT COULD OF BEEN WORSE. WILL CHRYSLER STILL HAVE HONOR THIS RECALL TO FIX MY CAR BEING THE RECALL WAS 3 YRS AGO IF I KNEW THERE WAS A RECALL I WOULD OF HAD THIS FIX. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 CHRYSLER SEBRING. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE LOWER BALL JOINT FRACTURED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND IT WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THE LOWER BALL JOINT WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LOWER BALL JOINT WAS REPLACED ONE YEAR AGO FOR THE SAME FAILURE THAT OCCURRED WHILE BRAKING FROM 5 MPH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.

A MECHANIC STATED THAT THE FRONT BALL JOINTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 00V21002 (SUSPENSION:FRONT: CONTROL ARM:LOWER BALL JOINT) WAS REFERENCED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER IN MAY OF 2001 AND WAS INSPECTED FOR THE SAFETY RECALL AT THAT TIME, BUT NO REPAIR WAS MADE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 56,184. I WAS DRIVING MY CAR AND IT STARTED MAKING A REAL LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE LIKE THE FRONT END WAS COMING OUT FROM UNDER IT. I TOOK IT IN AND GOT A COUPLE OF QUOTES ON IT. ALL 3 OF THE MECHANIC'S TOLD ME I NEEDED TO GET MY LOWER BALL JOINTS & CONTROL ARM CHANGED. BOTH THE PASSENGER AND THE DRIVER SIDE OF MY CAR WERE BAD. I HAD NEVER GOTTEN A RECALL NOTICE IN THE MAIL. I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FOR OVER 2 YEARS. FINALLY I TOOK IT IN ON MONDAY, JULY 3, 2006 AND HAD TO REPLACE BOTH SIDES. IT ENDED UP COSTING ME OVER $475.00 FOR PARTS AND SERVICE. *NM

WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED DRIVER HEARD A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT, AND THE VEHICLE VIBRATED UNCONTROLLABLY. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT THE FRONT WHEEL BEARING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AND REPLACED IT THREE TIMES. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM RECURRED. *AK

FITTING CANNOT BE GREASED BECAUSE IT IS A CLOSED SYSTEM. *EH
