ABS BRAKES FAILED AND VAN WOULD NOT STOP. A ON GOING PROBLEM THAT STARTED IN 1995 AND STILL CONTINUES TO THE PRESENT 2003. DEALERSHIP HAS HAD VECHICLE TO REPAIR PROBLEM EVERYYEAR UNTIL 2000. MY ABS BAKE LIGHT STILL COMES ON AND I HAVE HAD 10-TEN COMPLETE BRAKE JOBS DONE TO MY VAN. THE DEALERSHIP HAS HAD MY VAN FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS FOR REPAIR AND WE COULD NOT USE IT. I NEED HELP BRAKES ARE FAILING AGAIN AND JUST AFTER 5000 MILES. I CAN NOT GET ANYONE TO TAKE MY VAN IN ON TRADE FOR ANOTHER VECHICLE. I NEED HELP SO NO ONE WILL BE SERIOUSLY INJURED. PEDAL GETS STIFF AND HARD UNTIL CONSUMER HAS TO PUMP IT UP IN ORDER TO HOLD. LIGHTS COMES ON DASHBOARD INTERMITTENTLY. DEALERSHIP IS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK WHEN BRAKES FAIL, ABS LIGHT ILLUMINATES, DEALERS HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO RECREATE FAULT CODES, THIS FAILURE DID NOT OCCUR UNTIL AFTER RECALL REPAIR 96V099, ON ONE OCCASION, BRAKES FAILED COMPLETELY AND BRAKE FLUID SPEWED FROM THE MASTER CYLINDER ALL OVER, THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ALSO ILLUMINATED, DEALER REPLACED ABS PUMP PISTON ASSEMBLY, ABS DUAL FUNCTION SWITCH, AND ABS ACCUMULATOR PACKAGE, THIS WAS ALL DONE WHEN RECALL WAS COMPLETED, DEALER STATED TO REDO RECALL WORK. SPEEDOMETER READS HIGH, IT IS READING MORE MILES THAN WHAT IS BEING DRIVEN. *SLC

CONSUMER WAS SITTING STILL & THERE WAS A LOUD BANG & ANTIFREEZE STARTED LEAKING ON THE GROUND. WATER PUMP WAS CHANGED LAST YEAR BECAUSE OF THE SAME TRANSMISSION PROBLEM. THIS WAS THIRD TIME IT HAS SHUT DOWN. DEALER HAS BEEN USING REBUILD TRANSMISSIONS. CONSUMER AGAIN WAS RESPONSIBLE OF PAYING FOR THE COST. *AK
