My vehicle has overheating problems ever since I have had it. I have had the thermostat replaced. The sensor thermostat replaced. The radiator flushed and had several shops look at it yet they could find nothing wrong but I go through antifreeze like crazy. At least 1 gallon every month. The temp reads 100 - 180 on hot days and it gets super hot.
The vehicle had a recall that was not satisfied before expiration. The vehicle currently has only 92,135 miles. The car would stall out while driving down the road. The head was manufactured to thin, cylinder misfire. It was very unsafe going up and down the mountains in our area especially. It would not shift after going down an incline. So have to pull over and restart. I called and made a complaint before. We finally saved up enough to pay for the work. I have a receipt for $3219.76. The chrysler recall bulletin is 09-002-14. I contacted Chrysler they just put me to all different people and no one knows. This was a very dangerous situation to drive.

The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under TSB Number: D-14-12 because the TSB had expired. I wrote before about the electrical issue. My husband jumped started my car On 8/28/24. I drove down to my church for a Women's Bible Study. I was there for 2 1/2 hours. When I went to leave my car would not start. I called my son. He jump started my car for me. As I was about to leave after a few minutes my car quit running. As the car was running every electrical component on the dash was going haywire, the heater fan was going full blast, but the windows would not go up. That was irritating as it started to rain. Had to cover the windows. Left the car in parking lot. Next day after church my husband tried to start the car. The car turned over and the battery light was on. Brande new battery was put in that week, As the following we thought that might have been the problem. He jumped started the car same thing as before. We had to have the car flat bedded to the mechanic. The mechanic tested the new alternator that was just put in and said it was bad. Replaced the alternator and car ran. He wanted to see what would happen so he kept car over night. Next morning car would not start. All fuses have been checked, fuse box has been checked. Nobody can seem to figure out what is going on with this vehicle. I have spent over $2000. an to no avail. I am ready to junk this thing. Mu dad said their was a Caravan for sale I just read they have electrical issues also no way.

During random times; starting cold, starting warm, coming to a stop, accelarating, on city surface streets or on the freeway, after long drives or just going down the street; the minivan would stall and not restart. Fortunately able to coast to side of road on occassion. Non start condition would last between 15 minutes to days. This last event occured while turning in a busy intersection. Blocked cars and buses in all four directions on a Friday afternoon rush hour, putting ourselves and others at serious risk. There were no warning lights or anything other than a brief shudder before stalling. Roadside service called 911 first to get us out of the way. Towed to local mechanic who duplicated event and found that two separate recalls for faulty fuel pump relay was issued for other models but not our minivan. This family vehicle is now a liability if the fuel pump relay replacement is not made available to us.
The fuel pump is sporadically not getting power. This has left me stranded multiple times. I’m worried that this could happen while driving on the interstate and causing an accident.
Driving 70mph on the interstate when the engine just shuts down ( sudden engine failure ) it is only by the grace of God that it didn't result in a pile-up and injury/loss of life. One of the most fearful experiences that I have ever had happened to me. This is the 2nd instance of sudden engine failure in the past month. On each occasion, I have had the vehicle towed and the mechanics are unable to find the root cause of the problem. I now fear injury/loss of life to myself and or others. I tried calling Chrysler to no avail and i have sent a certified letter to the Chrysler CEO , hristine Feuell with no response so far. The contact stated that they paid to have their vehicle looked at by the dealer. There were unsuccessful in duplicating the issue or finding the cause or a cure. The contact was told to trade in the vehicle. The contact stated after 10 breakdowns and 7 vehicle tows this week someone finally figured out the problem being a DEFECTIVE TIPM module.

The vehicle had to be jump started to resume normal driving operation. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer on multiple occasions where the computer, two alternators, and two batteries were replaced; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic where the repairs were performed; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. As a result, the steering wheel was difficult to maneuver then the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that he was able to restart the vehicle, but the failure recurred. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump relay needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. "P0740" OBD2 code, causing vehicle to Fail state Safety Inspection. issue is due to a defect within the transmission, very common with the 2011 Chrysler Town & Country. "Dealer Only Repair" , very costly. Serious Safety Issue. Vehicle cannot be diagnosed by most Certified Mechanics. this faulty reading could mask very serious issues with the Transmission. This issue needs to be expedited to review ASAP. Thank You.
2011 Chrysler town and country, starts then shuts off after two seconds. Check engine light came on last night. Remote start disabled. Vehicle will not start via push button, must use key fob in place of pushbutton. Again remote start will not work. Vehicle starts and shuts off right away. From research done, cause being TIPM OR FUEL RELAY.
There is a problem with the engine oil cooler leaking oil on the engine creating a smell of oil burning which is not good to breathe, plus the danger of the engine catching on fire. I am filing this report on 11/28/2021. I replaced this part the first time in July of 2021 and it is once again leaking in November 2021 already. Prior to replacing it the first time, I did some research on the internet only to find that this is common problem with this oil cooler used in Chrysler Engines. (3.6 L) I would think that Chrysler is a ware of this problem. I don't have the first part that failed, but the replacement is leaking also. I have not had this inspected, but as I have already mentioned, there a lot of complaints on the internet of people having this problem. The part Chrysler is using has a plastic base, and the plastic is apparently breaking down. There is an aftermarket replacement available and they describe the problem with the one that Chrysler uses and what they did to correct it. The replaced plastic part with metal.
TIPM is defective causing the car hard starting and stall.The fuel pump relay stays on draining the new battery . The car starts then shuts down after 2 seconds. The sliding doors open and close, horn stops, car alarm stops intermittently. I had to temporarily bypass the fuel pump relay.The cost of the TIPM replacement is $1500

Due to the failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to his home where he inspected the vehicle. The contact discovered that the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) was defective and needed to be replaced. The contact spoke to an independent mechanic who informed him that there was no recall on the vehicle and that he was unaware of any issues with the TIPM. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 136,000.

I don't know much about vehicles. So when I get the obd scanned to make sure things are good to sell my van and it throws back many error codes, I was surprised. I thought the vibration/shaking was minor or just because I only had 4 out 6 engine mounts replaced. I was told the tipm was bad, the transmission, the tire pressure sensors don't work. The eco drive doesn't work. I was told that there was a problem with mine that was recalled but only on half of the vehicles and my vin wasn't one of them recalled even though it's the same problem. I was told the main fuse panel under the hood needs replaced. From what I was told, all the needed repairs will cost about as much as I paid for the vehicle itself. There have been lights on the dash since a few days after I bought it but the obd didn't want to put out any reading. I named her Christine because she seems to have a mind of her own. The rpm's go sky high whenever they feel like it so I often have to pull over, turn it off and wait about 5 minutes. I didn't know where to turn to get help with this before it nickel and dimes me into the even more poor house.

THIS MUST BE A RECALL CONCERN. CHRYSLER REALLY NEEDS TO STEP UP AND TAKE CARE OF THIS TIPM ISSUE. THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM WAS A DEFECTIVE TIPM THAT PREVENTED THE ENGINE FROM STARTING. THIS VAN FAILS WHILE THE CAR WAS BEING DRIVEN. TODAY 1-4-21, THE VAN IS AGAIN AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS FOR THE SAME ISSUE AGAIN AND AGAIN I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. THE TOWN & COUNTRY WOULD BE RUNNING SMOOTHLY ONE DAY AND FAIL TO START THE NEXT DAY. WHY RECALL CONCERNING THEM WAS NEVER ISSUED????

TO MAINT SHOP FOUND OIL FILTER HOUSING ( ACTUALLY PART OF OIL/COOLANT HEAT EXCHANGER) SEALS LEAKING ON TOP OF THE ENGINE BLOCK BELOW THE INTAKE ASSEMBLY. IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE VISUALLY. BIG PROBLEM IS THAT AS STATED, TAKES ALMOST A QUART OF OIL TO SIT ON TOP OF THE ENGINE FOR IT TO START TO LEAK VISUALLY....SERIOUS FIRE HAZARD,, ESPECIALLY IN HOT WEATHER. THE DEALER FIRST REPLACED THE POWER MODULE IN SEPTEMBER, THEN THE ISSUE RETURNED ONLY TO BE CAUSING MORE ELECTRICAL ISSUES. THE CAR WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND IT WAS EXPLAINED THEN THAT THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE POWER MODULE DUE TO A FAULTY RELAY. THIS IS THE EXACT SAME ISSUE THAT OTHER CHRYSLER/DODGE VEHICLES OF THE SAME YEAR ARE BEING RECALLED FOR. THE STALLING WAS DANGEROUS AS IT HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING. ON NOVEMBER 14, 2019 I WAS TRAVELING WITH MY 18 YEAR OLD SON TO DETROIT METRO AIRPORT. WE WERE ENTERING THE ENTRANCE RAMP OF I-94 & US 23. WE WERE TRAVELING AT 65MPH. MY VAN WITHOUT WARNING STARTED RUNNING ROUGHT IN DRIVE, SHAKING, ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON BLINKING FAST TOOK IT TO MECHANIC. IT SHOWS ALL CYCLINDERS HAVE SEVERE MISFIRING ISSUES. THEY CAN NOT FIGURE OUT WHY AND TOLD ME TO TAKE TO CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. THIS VAN RUNS CRAPPY HAS NO POWER TO GET TO DEALERSHIP. IT HAS A HARD TIME SHIFTING IN LOWER GEARS AS WELL WHILE DRIVING, WHEN YOU DO PUT THE VEHICLE INTO REVERSE IT FEELS LIKE IT DROPS VERY HARD INTO THAT GEAR. NO CODES STORED.

THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START SOMETIMES (THE STARTER CRANKS BUT WON'T START) BUT THEN STARTS A FEW MINUTES LATER AND YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHY, AND SOMETIMES THE LIGHTS COME ON WHILE PARKED AT THE HOUSE AND THEN TURN OFF. OTHER TIMES THE VEHICLE CRANKS UP BUT WILL NOT START AND AFTER RELEASING THE BUTTON IT KEEPS CRANKING UP FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS? SOUNDS LIKE SOME PROBLEM WITH THE FIRMWARE FOR THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) WHICH IS THE GATEWAY OR DISTRIBUTION BOX FOR NEARLY THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IN LATE-MODEL CHRYSLER PRODUCTS. BECAUSE OF THE INTERMITTENT NATURE (I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING THIS OVER MORE THAN 6 MONTHS AND IT WILL NOT REPEAT AT MY MECHANICS LOCATION) IT IS VERY HARD TO DIAGNOSE TOTALLY. THE ENGINE SEEMS TO BE STARTING TO RUN A LITTLE ROUGHER THAN IT USED TO ALSO. I HAVE OVER 125,000 MILES WITH THE VEHICLE AND IT HAS ALWAYS WORKED GREAT UNTIL THIS INTERMITTENT PROBLEM STARTED. I ALSO WAKE UP MY NEIGHBORS AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE NIGHT WHEN THE HORN STARTS GOING OFF AT RANDOM TIMES. THIS ONE PROBLEM HAS BEEN OCCURRING SINCE THE CAR HAD ABOUT 20,000 MILES AND I ATTRIBUTED IT TO THE KEY FOB BUT I AM NOT SO SURE. I HAVE TALKED TO CHRYSLER WHO KEEPS TELLING ME THAT THERE IS NO RECALL SO IF I GO IN I HAVE TO PAY TO GET IT FIXED WHILE I THINK IT IS AN ENGINEERING DESIGN PROBLEM THAT SHOULD BE FIXED AT NO COST. THE DATE BELOW REFLECTS THE LATEST INSTANCE BUT IT HAS HAPPENED A LOT DURING THE PAST FEW YEARS.

VAN HAS HAD A FEW TIMES WHERE IT WILL NOT START, YOU CAN TURN THE KEY ALL THE WAY TO THE ON POSITION, ALL THE LIGHTS/RADIO AND AIR WILL COME ON BUT THE ENGINE FAILS TO START, DOES NOT MAKE A NOISE. AFTER A FEW TRIES IT WILL START. RECENTLY THE KEY GOT STUCK IN THE ON POSITION TO START AND THE ENGINE TRIED STARTING 4 TIMES WHILE STUCK IN THAT POSITION BEFORE IT FINALLY STARTED AND ALMOST QUIT. DID NOT DARE TO TURN VEHICLE OFF DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY IT WOULD NOT START. RESEARCH STATES THE TIPM IS THE CAUSE OF THIS ALONG WITH MULTIPLE ELECTRICAL ISSUES. THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED.

FAST FORWARD 1 YEAR LATER AND MY VEHICLE BEGINS TO INTERMITTENTLY SPUDDER WHEN COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP. I THEN BEGAN TO COMPLETLY SHUT OFF AT TIMES AFTER HIGHWAY DRIVING OVER A DISTANCE OF 5 OR MORE MILES WHEN I EXIT AND STOP OR SLOW DOWN AFTER EXITING THE HIGHWAY. STILL HAVING INTERMITTENT ISSUES WITH STARTING. NOW, WITH NO WARNING THE VEHICLE JUSTS SHUTS DOWN COMPLETELY AS IF NO POWER. RADIO, EVERYTHING GOES DEAD FOR A FEWS SECONDS. THEN RADIO, LIGHTS COME ON WITH NO INTERVENTION. CAR CRANKED UP BOTH TIMES. HAS DONE THIS TWICE IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS. DIAGNOSED AS FAILURE OF THE TIPM (TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE). THIS SHUT DOWN ALL POWER TO THE VEHICLE INCLUDING FUEL PUMP, COMPUTER, STEERING, ENGINE, AND WHATEVER ELSE. GOOD THING IT WAS PARKED WHEN IT FAILED, FOR HAD I BEEN DRIVING I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD ANY CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, ACCORDING TO THE MECHANIC.

THE FIRST TIME THE VAN STALLED COMPLETELY LOSING POWER STEERING AND HAD TO RESTART ENGINE. THE 2ND TIME I COULD STILL GAS THE VAN WITH POWER STEERING BEFORE ALL ELECTRICAL RESTARTED ITSELF. THE CAR HAS A DEFECTIVE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM). THIS MODULE HAS CAUSED THE VAN NOT TO START AND THE ENGINE HAS STALLED DURING DRIVING. THE MODULE HAS A FUEL PUMP RELAY ON A CKT BOARD THAT IS DEFECTIVE. THE RELAY ALSO STUCK CLOSED AND HEATED UP THE BATTERY AND DRAINED IT. THE ONLY WAY TO START THE VEHICLE, IS TO CYCLE THE KEY MULTIPLE TIMES UNTIL YOU HERE THE FUEL PUMP RUNNING. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER MANY TIMES FOR THE NO START PROBLEM. THIS VEHICLE IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN, WITH THE ENGINE STALLING AND THE FUEL PUMP SHORTING THE BATTERY. ALSO ANOTHER DEFECT IS THE POWER SLIDING DOORS, THE WIRING WILL BURN AND BREAK. THIS CAUSES THE DOORS TO BECOME STUCK OPEN AND WILL NOT CLOSE. WHEN YOU ARE ON THE ROAD WITH THE DOORS STUCK OPEN, THIS IS NOT SAFE. THE DOORS NEED THE WIRING REPLACED WITH A HEAVY DUTY WIRE.

TRIES TO TURN OVER, AND DID START AFTER A LOT OF DIFFERENT EFFORTS ABOUT 7-8 TIMES(BY FULLY DEPRESSING GAS PEDAL WHEN IT WOULD TURN OVER TO START AND MAINTAIN RPMS 3-4000 FOR A MINIMUM OF 5-10 SECONDS) AND NOW WILL NOT START AT ALL. AFTER LAST ATTEMPTS TO START, AND VEHICLE NOT RUNNING, YOU CAN STILL HEAR THE FUEL PUMP OPERATING AND SMELL OF GASOLINE. BATTERY DRAIN WAS NOTICED WITH 24 HOURS, AND DEAD WITH IN 2 DAYS. WHEN VEHICLE HAD STARTED AND ABLE TO DRIVE A SHORT DISTANCE, IT WOULD SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING, OR SHUT OFF UPON STOPPING FOR A SIGN OR RED LIGHT. THIS IS DANGEROUS SITUATION, AS I AM TRYING TO TAKE MY 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND TEEN AGE SON TO SCHOOL WHEN THIS HAPPENED. OIL FILTER HOUSING HAS PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE ALONG PLASTIC SHAFT THAT GUIDES UP THROUGH OIL FILTER. THIS VALVE OR SHAFT CAN BREAK OFF CAUSING CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE. PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE CAN CAUSE THE ENGINE TO REMAIN IN THE BYPASS START UP PHASE. IT HAS BEEN DOING THIS OFF AND ON. THE SYMPTOMS ARE A PERFECT FIT FOR THE TIPM ISSUES THAT OTHER CHRYSLER VEHICLES HAVE EXPERIENCED AND HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR. IT HAS PLENTY OF VOLTAGE AND AMPERAGE TO CRANK, IT JUST WON'T. ALSO WHEN IT DOES CRANK IT WILL STALL OUT, ALTHOUGH, NOT EVERY TIME. SOMETIMES IT WILL CRANK NORMALLY AND OTHERS YOU NEED TO PRESS THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THIS ALSO APPEARS TO FIT THE TIPM SYMPTOMS EXACTLY. THE VAN HAS WORKED PERFECTLY UNTIL THIS ISSUE. THIS IS A DESIGN DEFECT THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD PAY TO CORRECT IN ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES. THE MOST RECENT OCCURRENCE WAS THE EVENING OF 6/26/16. I DROVE THE VEHICLE APPROXIMATELY 4 HOURS EARLIER AND IT CRANKED AND OPERATED NORMALLY, HOWEVER, THIS TIME IT WOULD NOT CRANK. THE INTERIOR LIGHTS AND A/C FAN ALL APPEAR TO OPERATE NORMALLY, HOWEVER, WHEN I TRIED TO CRANK THE VAN ALL OF THE LIGHTS FLICKERED BUT THE VAN DOES NOT CRANK. I DO NOT RECEIVE A LOW BATTER WARNING EITHER, BECAUSE THE BATTER IS BRAND NEW, REPLACED BY THE DEALER AT THE BEGINNING OF JUNE 2016. I ATTEMPTED SEVERAL MORE TIMES BUT THE VAN NEVER DID CRANK. THEY HAD A SERVICE TECHNICIAN AND A MANAGER BOTH DRIVE THE VAN OVER THE COURSE OF A FEW DAYS (INCLUDING HIGHWAY TRAVEL) AND COULDN'T DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. DIAGNOSIS WAS A POSSIBLE COMPUTER GLITCH AND SINCE THAT DIAGNOSIS IT HASN'T HAPPENED AGAIN UNTIL TONIGHT 2/10/16. IT MAY BE THE COMPUTER BUT I WILL DRIVE IT TOMORROW AND SEE IF IT RUNS OK. AS WE WERE DRIVING AT ABOUT 30 MPH THE VAN STARTED TO ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN. IT REVVED UP TO 70 MPH THEN TO 50 THEN TO 20 THEN BACK UP TO 70. WE COULDN'T CONTROL THE SPEED WITH GAS PEDAL OR THE BRAKE PEDAL. WE WERE JUST GLIDING. I TOLD MY WIFE TO PUT IT INTO NUETRAL AND TAP ON BRAKE PEDAL TILL WE FINALLY SLOWED DOWN. WE THEN TURNED VAN OFF AND LET IT SIT. WE THEN CALLED ARE MECHANICS AS WE JUST HAD A TRANSMISSION FLUSH DONE. OF COURSE THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH IT BECAUSE IT WASN'T DOING IT FOR THEM. THEN THE FOLLOWING MORNING MY WIFE IS GETTING IN VAN TO TAKE KIDS TO SCHOOL AND TURNS ON VAN AND IT TURNS ITSELF OFF. OUR MECHANICS HAD THIS VAN FOR 2 DAYS AND HAVE DROVE IT WITH THERE COMPUTERS HOOKED UP TO IT AND NO RED FLAGS. THE MAIN MECHANIC SAYS IT'S PROBABLY THE COMPUTER. AFTER FURTHER RESEARCH ON THIS VAN I NOW HAVE FOUND THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MAKE,MODEL,YEAR. YET NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO RESOLVE IT. WE PURCHASED THIS 2011 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY AS A NEW VEHICLE IN JAN.OF 2012. SINCE THE PURCHASE THERE HAVE BEEN 5 INCIDENTS WHERE THE VAN HAS LOST ALL ELECTRICAL POWER MAKING CLICKING NOISES, AND LEAVING US STRANDED. THE FINAL INCIDENT HAPPENED ON DEC. 26,2014 WHILE TRAVELING IN THE MOUNTAINS OF NORTH CAROLINA. IT WAS 10:30 PM, NO STREET LIGHTS AND NOTHING BUT STEEP TERRAIN ON THE SIDES. THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN AND WAS MAKING THE CLICKING NOISES.THE POWER STEERING WAS LOST, HEADLIGHTS OFF AND ALL OTHER ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONS WERE UNAVAILABLE. ONCE IN COMPLETE DARKNESS WE NOTICED WE HAD SHIFTED INTO THE ONCOMING LANE OF TRAFFIC. WE NOTICED HEADLIGHTS COMING AT US IN THE DISTANCE, LUCKILY QUICK THINKING AND USE OF A FLASHLIGHT WE WERE ABLE TO WARN THE ONCOMING VEHICLE OF OUR POSITION IN THEIR LANE. THEY STOPPED IN FRONT OF OUR VEHICLE AND TURNED ON THEIR HAZARDS TO PROVIDE WARNING FOR OTHER VEHICLES. BEING THAT WE WERE IN IMMINENT DANGER, I HAD TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND LET THE SYSTEM RESET. AFTER TAKING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY ONCE AGAIN SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP ONLY STATED, " HAVE IT TOWED IN WHEN IT HAPPENS". BEING THAT THE LAST 2 TIMES THIS HAPPENED WE WERE LEFT STRANDED IN TRAFFIC, DURING LATE HOURS WITH ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRICAL POWER AND MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO WAIT TO BE TOWED IN. THEY WERE UNSAFE SITUATIONS THAT POTENTIALLY HAD FATAL RESULTS. I HAD TO MAKE THE BEST DECISION AT THE TIME TO PROTECT MY FAMILY. I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED WITH CHRYSLER FOR ALLOWING ME TO LEAVE THE SHOP EVERY TIME WITH NO SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. MY KIDS ARE AFRAID TO GET IN VAN FOR FEAR OF BREAKING DOWN YET AGAIN. CYLINDER MISFIRE CODE WAS THE REASON FOR THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. -IT HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED THAT THE CYLINDER HEAD NEEDS TO BE REPLACED DUE TO MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT. -DEALERSHIP AND CHRYSLER HAVE ADMITTED THAT THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND A MORE ROBUST CYLINDER HEAD HAS BEEN ENGINEERED TO REPLACE THE FAULTY ONES. -CHRYSLER HAS HOWEVER REFUSED TO COVER THE REPLACEMENT UNDER THE 5YR/100,000 MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY. *TR

IF I HAD BEEN LEANING AGAINST SOMETHING INSIDE THE HOUSE, WOULD MY CAR HAVE BEEN RUNNING ALL NIGHT IN A CLOSED GARAGE ATTACHED TO MY HOUSE?.
