Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Charger. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V313000 (Air Bags) and 16V352000 (Air Bags) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts for the driver's side air bag was not yet available. The dealer had delayed the recall repairs on numerous occasions. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

I called up over 15 dealerships and they also refused to repair the recall. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that they could not help me since the dealerships are basically privately owned. AIR BAGS ARE MEANT TO SAVE LIVES AND MY AIR BAG ALMOST TOOK MY LIFE THE PAIN IS IN REAL I COULDN'T WISH THIS ON ANYONE AND NOW I HAVE TO LIVE MY LIFE IN SO MUCH PAIN I HAVE A NEARLY BROKEN NECK WITH ALMOST. THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED AND NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. AN OCCUPANT IN THE VEHICLE THAT CAUSED THE CRASH WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE DUE TO SEVERE INJURIES.
