shuts off while driving with no warning...Stalls at stop light/sign and when i try to accelerate it has barely goes.. sometimes it seems like it has no power at all and sometimes it seems like it has to much power without me accelerating. Its very dangerous this issue has almost made me get into several accidents

The contact stated that once the vehicle was parked the gear shifter remained stuck in park(P). The contact stated had to manually depress the button under the gear shifter to move the gear shifter. The contact stated that after the first failure, the vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found; however, an unknown part was greased. The manufacturer was contacted, and the contact was referred to the local dealer and notified of NHTSA Campaign Number: 08V583000 (POWER TRAIN). The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to the residence and had not been driven since. The failure mileage was unknown.
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while attempting to restart the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start up. The contact stated that the wheels remained locked. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the powertrain control module was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The contact indicated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 06V341000 (Power Train). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 180,000. The VIN was invalid.

Every since had car ticks.Was driving after fill up and car just turned off having me almost hit 8 cars on the highway with my 5 year old son in car. Now will not start. Days later it starts and tick then turns off. Found out it’s common problem everybody has in these 5.7 hemi engines lifters/ cam.
MY VEHICLE BEGINS TO STALL OUT AT LOW SPEEDS OR WHILE IDLING. WHILE SLOWING DOWN FOR A LIGHT OR JUST WAITING FOR THE TRAFFIC LIGHT TO CHANGE. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP AT GWINNETTE CHRYSLER STONE MOUNTAIN GEORGIA AND THE PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED TO BE THE FUEL TANK NEEDING REPLACEMENT AFTER PAYING 3000.00 DOLLARS FOR REPAIRS THAT DID NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE. I WAS THEN GIVEN A FINAL DIAGNOSIS THAT THE FUEL TANK WAS THE ISSUE AND IT WAS GOING TO COST 4500.00 TO REPLACE. TODAY IS APRIL 1 AND I JUST PICKED UP MY VEHICLE AFTER IT WAS SITTING IN THE DEALERSHIP FOR ALMOST 1 MONTH AND STILL THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. PLEASE HELP ME. THE NOTIFICATION INDICATES THERE ARE ABOUT 28,800 VEHICLES THAT MAY BE AFFECTED AND PROVIDES INSTRUCTIONS ON GETTING IT REPAIRED IF YOUR VEHICLE BUILD DATE FALLS BETWEEN JUNE 25,2007 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 21,2007 (MY VEHICLE WAS BUILT 3 MONTHS PRIOR TO THIS WINDOW) AND BECAUSE OF THIS DOES NOT POPULATE INTO THE DEALERCONNECT GLOBAL RECALL SYSTEM. I WAS TOLD "IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN, BRING IT BACK" THERE WAS NO CONCERN WITH DODGE THAT THEY WERE SENDING A DANGEROUS VEHICLE BACK OUT ON THE ROAD, THAT COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. THIS WAS AN ISSUE THAT NEEDED TO BE ADDRESSED NOW, NOT LATER. DODGE NEVER SOLVED THAT ISSUE. FURTHERMORE, MY CAR WAS STUCK IN THE PARK POSITION ON THE EVE OF 4-18-16. I TRIED TO GET IT INTO GEAR, WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS. I HAD TO CALL FOR A TOW TRUCK. WHILE WAITING FOR A TOW, I DECIDED TO GOOGLE DODGE CHARGERS STUCK IN PARK. ON YOUTUBE, THERE WERE SO MANY OTHERS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. THEY HAD VIDEO OF HOW TO GET THE CAR OUT OF PARK. YOU HAD TO PRY THE COVERING OFF OF THE SHIFTING UNIT. STICK A PEN INSIDE TO MOVE A WIRE AROUND, IN ORDER TO GET THE CAR INTO GEAR. IT WORRIES ME THAT DODGE IS AWARE OF TRANSMISSION ISSUES AND OTHER ISSUES WITH THEIR VEHICLES, YET NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO FIX IT. I COULD OF SERIOUSLY BEEN HURT OR SERIOUSLY HURT SOMEONE ELSE WHILE BEING ON THE FREEWAY AND MY CAR JUST SHUTTING OFF. THEY SHOULD BE CONCERNED ENOUGH TO WANT TO LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE AND FIX IT. AS I STATED BEFORE, THERE ARE NUMEROUS VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE WITH OTHER PEOPLE EXPERIENCING THE VERY SAME ISSUES. I DID FILE A COMPLAINT ON THE BBB WEBSITE, ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE. MY MAIN OBJECTIVE FOR THIS SITE IS TO BRING OUT HOW DANGEROUS IT IS TO OPERATE MY CAR UNDER THESE CONDITIONS, THAT DODGE DID NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT. SOUNDS AS IF THERE ARE TRANSMISSION AND OR ENGINE ISSUES WITH THE CAR THAT NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION.

HE ADVISED ME THAT I MAY HAVE TO GET A INTEGRATED CONTROL MODULE IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN.

HOWEVER, SINCE MY VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED 6 WEEKS BEFORE THE START DATE FOR THE 2007 MODELS, I'M NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL. IT CLEARLY DOESN'T MATTER THAT HUNDREDS OF CUSTOMERS ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AS ME, BUT ARE STILL HAVING TO PAY $400+ TO FIX SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE COVERED. AFTER SPENDING 30 MINUTES LISTENING TO A REP AT THE CHRYSLER RECALL CENTER TELL ME HOW OFTEN HE'S HEARD OF THIS COMPLAINT, JUST TO TELL ME THAT I'M S.O.L. IS BEYOND FRUSTRATING! THIS EXPERIENCE HAS TURNED ME OFF FROM BUYING ANOTHER CHRYSLER PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!

THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER INTERLOCK LEVER WAS RECALLED ON 2005 - 2007 DODGE AND CHRYSLER VEHICLES, HOWEVER AFTER CONTACTING DODGE DIRECTLY I WAS TOLD MY VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED BECAUSE IT WAS NOT BUILT DURING THE YEARS OF THE RECALL. ONCE THE LEVER IS BROKEN, YOU'RE UNABLE TO PUT YOUR CAR INTO GEAR. THE SAME ISSUE THAT WAS RECALLED FOR THE OTHER YEARS OF THESE VEHICLES HAS HAPPENED TO MY CAR. I CONTACTED 3 DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND IT'S GOING TO COST APPROXIMATELY $390 TO HAVE THE PLASTIC LEVER REPLACED WITH THE METAL LEVER THAT'S BEING USED NOW. I FEEL AS THOUGH THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH DODGE AND CHRYSLER AND THEREFORE SHOULD BE COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURE. I WAS DRIVING HOME ALONG WITH MY WIFE FROM RUNNING ERRANDS WHEN MY VEHICLE SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING AT 45MPHS PER HOUR. I CALLED AAA TO COME AND TOW MY VEHICLE. THEY DID JUST THAT AND THE SERVICE-CONTRACTED TOWING COMPANY FOR AAA DROPPED MY DODGE CHARGER RT OFF TO THE AUTO REPAIR SHOP THAT I'M ACCUSTOMED TO GOING. THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THE BATTERY WAS DRAINED HEAVILY FROM THE ENGINE PROBLEM. SO HE TOOK OUT THE OLD BATTERY I HAD AND PUT IN A NEW BATTERY. STARTED USING GOOGLE TO SEARCH FOR SIMILAR INCIDENTS AND FOUND THEM TO BE NUMEROUS. THE TECHNICIAN FURTHER STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY; THEREFORE, THEY WOULD NOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED.
