The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The dealer and Bay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (636 15th St, Panama City, FL 32401) were made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. Hi I have been trying to get my recalls fixed but everytime I call the dealership they take my information but they never call me back, it has been many months waiting and It says that my airbag can deploy shrapnel everywhere because of humidity.. I have a heart pump and I take many medications and one of them is a blood thinner. If I get hurt from flying shrapnel it could and most likely will kill me because while taking blood thinners it makes it so that you bleed very easily.. THERE'S A OPEN RECALL FOR MY 2010 DODGE CHARGER R/T & I TOOK IT TO CUETER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM. THEY HAD IT FOR 8 DAYS & HAD NOT TOUCHED THE CAR SINCE I DROPPED IT OFF. THEY SAID THEY WERE WAITING ON PARTS NOW IT'S BEEN 16 DAYS & HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY WORD BACK. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO. THE RECALLS ARE FOR THE PASSENGER AIRBAG & THE ENGINE TIMING CHAIN WHICH IS VERY SERIOUS IN MY OPINION BUT MUST NOT BE TO THEM.

TOWED MY CAR TO DEALERSHIP ON 1/24/2019 DUE TO LIFESAVING RECALLS AND WAS REFUSED THE LIFESAVING REPAIRS BASED OFF MY VEHICLE ALLEGEDLY NOT BEING ABLE TO START WHICH IS A LIE BECAUSE THE TOWING SERVICE JUMP STARTED THE BATTERY AT MY PLACE OF RESIDENCE AND DROVE THE CAR ONTO THE TOWING BED.HENCE MY VEHICLE STILL POSING A THREAT ON LIFE AND CLIENT SAFETY AS A WHOLE. WHILE TRAVELING ON AN INTERSTATE, A WRONG-WAY DRIVER OF A FORD SUV COLLIDED WITH THE FRONT OF THE DODGE RESULTING IN AN APPROXIMATE 45 MPH DELTA-V BASED ON THE ACM OF THE WRONG WAY VEHICLE. THE DODGE WAS THEN REAR-ENDED BY A TRUCK TRACTOR WITH A LOADED TRAILER TRAVELING AT FREEWAY SPEEDS ESTIMATED AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH. THE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY IN EITHER COLLISION. I PURCHASED THE CAR SO THAT IT COULD BE DRIVEN SAFELY AND FULLY. MY CHILD HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO HAVE A PASSENGER IN THE CAR FOR OVER A YEAR. THE DEALER DOES NOT SEEM TO CARE, NHTSA DOES NOT SEEM TO CARE, AND TAKATA DOES NOT SEEM TO CARE. YOU WON'T EVEN SAY NOT TO DRIVE THE CAR BECAUSE OF THE POTENTIAL LAW SUITS AND LOSS OF REVENUE THAT IT WOULD COST THE MANUFACTURERS. YOU HAVE CLEARLY CALCULATED THE COST OF DEATH AND/OR INJURY AT A LOWER VALUE THAN THE POTENTIAL LOSS OF REVENUE THAT WOULD RESULT FROM FIXING THE ISSUE OR DEEMING THE VEHICLES AS NOT DRIVABLE. IT IS RIDICULOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE. I WANT THE CAR FIXED OR REPLACED ASAP. I WAS HIT ON DRIVER'S FRONT SIDE WHERE THE HEADLIGHT WAS. AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY I SUSTAINED ABDOMINAL BLUNT TRAUMA FROM THE SEAT BELT. I SPRAINED MY LEFT COLLAR BONE AND HAD BRUISING IN MY CHEST AREA FROM WHERE I HIT THE STEERING WHEEL. *TR
MY SON AND I WERE TRAVELING HOME IN CHARLESTON WV. WE MERGED ONTO THE PATRICK ST BRIDGE IN THE LEFT LANE. THERE WAS A DISABLED VEHICLE IN THE LANE THAT DID NOT HAVE ON IT'S HAZARD LIGHTS. DUE TO RAIN AND WET CONDITIONS, WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES TO STOP THE CAR HYDROPLANED AND HIT DEAD CENTER IN THE REAR OF THE 2006 FORD EXPLORER THAT WAS DISABLED. THE CRASHED CAUSED THE REAR OF MY CAR TO LIFT SLIGHTLY OFF THE GROUND AND MOVED ALL FRONT END COMPONENTS FROM THE GRILL TO THE RADIATOR ETC... INTO THE ENGINE. THIS SHIFTED THE ENGINE BACKWARDS, CRUMPLED BOTH FENDERS, AND ALSO THE HOOD. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AT ALL FOR EITHER PASSENGER SIDE FOR MY SON OR DRIVER SIDE FOR MYSELF. NO ONE WAS INJURED IN THE CRASH. THE CAR IS BEING CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS AT THIS TIME. EVERYONE I HAVE SPOKEN TO ARE SHOCKED THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY WITH THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE THE IMPACT CAUSED. I HAVE SEEN THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE 2011-2012 DODGE CHARGERS FOR AIRBAGS BUT I DID NOT SEE A RECALL FOR MY MAKE OR MODEL. ON A TRIP TO NASHVILLE WE WERE ON THE INTERSTATE GOING 60 MPH WHEN IT STARTED TO RAIN SLIGHTLY. GOING DOWNHILL THE RAIN CAME DOWN HARDER AND WE STARTED TO HYDROPLANE. I LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR SCRAPED AGAINST THE LEFT GUARD CONCRETE WALL. WE THEN SPUN AROUND MULTIPLE TIMES THEN CRASHED HEAD LONG INTO THE RIGHT CONCRETE WALL.
