Something wrong in the fuel system. Gas guage incorrect and when putting fuel in sometimes it spits it back out without having full tank.

The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The contact stated that the vehicle would start occasionally. The contact researched and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V200000 (Electrical System). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was unavailable.

Got rear ended day later hears a winding noise and engine light came on then Battery light came on. When driving next day all lights on dash board came on and car died. Thought was battery changed it then restarted car. Next day bring to get diagnosed and said altnator was testing bad so had that replaced but Battery light stayed on. Took to collision center dodge and they said pcm was bad so had that replaced. The mechanic stated common problem when altnator dies it burns up the pm module. So I had to wait 2 months for it to get replaced and now changed still the check engine lights and battery light is on.

2010 police charger fobik started falling out of ignition.. problem continues dealership says no big deal eventually the day came when I tried to turn the car off and I couldn't switch will no longer turn to the off position... Every time I want to turn the car off I have to pop the hood pull a fuse then get in the trunk and disconnect the battery. I went online did a recall search and found that I have no open recalls however I found hundreds if not thousands of people are having this same issue... Dealership said it was on me... I found online a recall notice k08 on cars built between Jan and March with this issue have a recall mines built in Feb but the vin number shows no recall wtf... Plugged in my scan tool which knows my vin and showed me the same recall notice on cars built at that time and on the notice it just has build dates nothin about vin numbers... Goin back to the dealership Monday.. this is an absolutely ludicrous situation that is potentially fatal that Chrysler needs to address!

I NEED ASSISTANCE IN HAVING FCA (FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMOTIVE) IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL P60/NHTSA 14V-634 ALTERNATOR HONORED (VANISHED ACCORDING TO FCA) TO COVER THE COST OF REPLACING MY ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY IN MY 2010/2011 DODGE CHARGER (MANUFACTURED IN LATE 2010) WHICH ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP, ARE NOW IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT. I HAVE EXPERIENCED VARIABLE ELECTRICAL/POWER FAILURES WITH MY VEHICLE OVER THE COURSE OF THE SUMMER/FALL MONTHS OF 2020 FROM REDUCED AND RANDOM, TEMPORARY POWER FAILURES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM VOLTAGE DROPS, AND LIGHTNING BOLT SENSORS COMING ON WHICH INSTANTLY REDUCED THE ACCELERATION OF THE VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY AND ON OCCASION EVEN LED TO COMPLETE POWER FAILURE, SHUTTING OFF THE ENGINE WHEN IDLING AT A STOP. WHILE DRIVING ON A 2 LANE HIGHWAY WITH TRAFFIC BEHIND ME, THE CAR SHUTS DOWN AND I LOSE POWER WHILE DRIVING. THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN. I PRESSED THE GAS REPEATEDLY AND NOTHING HAPPENED. CARS BEHIND ME WERE BLOWING BUT THERE WASN'T MUCH I COULD DO. THE CAR WAS SLOWING DOWN ANYWAY SO I PRESSED THE BRAKE AND THEY WORKED SO I STRUGGLED LIKE CRAZY TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AND WAS ABLE TO PUT THE CAR INTO A CHURCH DRIVEWAY. THANK GOD THE BRAKES WORKED OR IT COULD'VE BEEN UGLY. I TRIED STARTING THE CAR BUT IT WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT ACT LIKE IT WANTED TO START. IT WASN'T A CLICKING IT WAS MORE LIKE A WINDING NOISE LIKE A RUUU RUUU RUUU. I TRIED TO START IT AGAIN AND IT MADE THE SAME NOISE BUT IT SOUNDED WORSE. RECENTLY I HAVE CHANGED THE BATTERY, ALTERNATOR, AND NOW THE CAR IS AT THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY CHANGED SOME TYPE OF MODULE THAT READS THE KEYS, FIRST THEY STATED THE FUSE BOX IN THE TRUNK WAS THE PROBLEM. THEY INSTALLED A NEW FUSE BOX AND THEY THEN STATED THAT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. NEXT IS WHEN THEY REPLACED THE MODULE THAT READS THE KEYS, AND THEN THEY STATED THAT ALL THE FUSES WERE BLOWN AND THERE HAD TO BE A POWER SURGE THERE WAS NOT. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DIDN'T SEE THE BLOWN FUSES WHEN THEY STARTED THIS WHOLE PROCESS. ALSO, THEY STATED THAT THERE IS A RECALL ON 2010 DODGE CHARGERS WITH THE MODULE THAT CONTROLS THE KEYS HOWEVER MY CAR WAS 10 DAYS OUTSIDE OF THE BUILD DATE TO QUALIFY. WHAT IS GOING AND WHY WOULD MY CAR BE OUTSIDE THE BUILD DATE? THEY STATED THAT THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS NOW. THE OFFICIAL DODGE DEALERSHIP HAS MY CAR AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ISSUE IS.

FROM WHAT I COULD FIND ONLINE IT SOUNDED LIKE THE BATTERY OR ALTERNATOR, REMOVED BOTH AND HAD THEM TESTED AND BOTH ARE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. CHARGED BATTERY UP AND CAR STARTED RIGHT UP SO WE TEST FROM IT. WHILE DRIVING IT ONLY A FEW MILES WE NOTICED THAT THERE IS A STRANGE NEW WHINING NOISE COMING FROM UNDER THERE HOOD, ESP/ TRATION CONTROL LIGHTS CAME ON AND CAR DIED AGAIN CHARGED BATTERY AGAIN AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP AGAIN HOWEVER WE ARE RELUCTANT TO DRIVE IT AGAIN DUE TO THIS ISSUE. I HAD HELP TO GET IT OFF THE MAIN ROAD AND ASKED FOR A JUMP START THE CAR STARTED UP AND TEN MINUTES INTO THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AND THE CAR KILLED. CALLED A TOW MAN DUE TO THE RISK LEVEL OF NOT KNOWING WHEN THE CAR WILL KILL AGAIN AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WHERE IF I DID THE JUMP STARTED AGAIN. REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR/BATTERY BUT ISSUE REMAINS WITH BATTERY LIGHT COMING ON AND SHORTLY AFTER CAR KILLS. A SLIGHT DIFFERENCE IS THE REPLACED BATTERY ALLOWED CAR TO REMAIN DRIVEN LONGER BEFORE IT KILLS. BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON TWO TO FOUR MINUTES LATER CAR KILLS. (REPLACED BATTERY) BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON FIFTEEN/TWENTY MINUTES LATER CAR KILL.

WIN MODULE IS BEING REPLACED AT A HEARTY PRICE. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO THIS SITUATION AS THE WIN MODULE IS BEING USED IN NEWER MODELS. OCTOBER 2017 HAVE HAD THREE JUMP STARTS. 10/14/17 RECEIVED A JUMP START AND WAS DRIVING THE 20 MINUTES TO RECHARGE BATTERY THINKING IT WAS THE BATTERY ISSUE AGAIN. CAR BEGAN MAKING NOISE SO PARKED IT AND LIFTED HOOD TO CHECK THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. NOISE GOT LOUDER AND THEN GOT BACK IN THE CAR. I RECEIVED A "FIX-IT" WARNING FROM THE NEVADA HIGHWAY PATROL DUE TO A NON WORKING "3RD BRAKE LIGHT". I ENCOUNTERED A ROUGH BRIDGE EXPANSION JOINT ON THE HIGHWAY, THE KEY FELL OUT OF THE IGNITION KILLING THE ENGINE IN HEAVY FAST MOVING TRAFFIC. I WAS ABLE TO COAST TO THE SHOULDER, IT TOOK FOUR OR FIVE TRIES TO RE-START THE CAR. THIS PROBLEM HAS CONTINUED FOR OVER TWO MONTHS. DODGE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS A BAD WIN MODULE. THIS SAME PART WAS A RECALL ON 37,355 OTHER CARS OF THIS MAKE AND YEAR, BUT NOT ON MINE BASED ON THE VIN? DODGE WILL DO NOTHING TO COVER THE FIX, THEY SAY THE REPAIR PART IS UNAVAILABLE, I'M FORCED TO DRIVE IT AS IS AND TAKE MY CHANCES. *TR

CAR SITTING PARKED ON 70F DAY FOR 4 HOURS. IT HAD BEEN DRIVEN FOR ABOUT 25 MINUTES BEFORE THAT AT 60-65MPH. I WENT TO OPEN THE CAR DOOR AND NOTICED THAT THE TRUNK WAS UNLOCKING REPEATEDLY. OPENED THE CAR DOOR AND WATCHED SMOKE POUR OUT. ENTIRE LEFT-HAND SIDE OF THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT HAD BURNED AND THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF THE CENTER ARMREST HAD MELTED. THE HEADLINER HAD BEEN BURNED ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF THE CAR AS WELL. THE DOORS AND TRUNK CONTINUED TO LOCK AND UNLOCK UNTIL WE HAD GOTTEN THE FIRE OUT AND FINALLY GOTTEN THE BATTERY DISCONNECTED. BURNT DEBRIS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT CAR WHERE LIT MATERIAL FLOATED AROUND AND FINALLY FELL BACK TO THE SEATS/FLOORBOARD. WINDOWS WERE NEARLY BLACKED OUT BY THE SMOKE. *TR

PURCHASED CAR 4 MONTHS AGO HEARD NOISE FROM DAY ONE DEALERSHIP COULD FIND PROBLEM REFERRED TO DODGE HAD CYLINDER HEAD REPLACED 3 WEEKS AGO NOW CAR IS ACTING AGAIN NOW SUPPOSEDLY I NEED NEW SPARK PLUGS PROBLEMS WITH FUEL SYSTEM PRIOR TO ME BUYING CAR THE TOTAL INTEGRATED POWER MODULE WAS REPLACED PLEASE HELP HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE A NIGHTMARE. *TR

HAD MY FIRST PROBLEM WITH MY 2010 DODGE CHARGER R/T ~ 6K MILES ON THE CLOCK. DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IN ~ 5 DEGREE F TEMPS - THE CAR WAS FULLY WARMED UP AND IT WAS AROUND 9AM IN THE MORNING, THE CAR SUDDENLY DIED, WITH ALL THE ERROR INDICATORS COMING ON. LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO GET OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AS POWER STEERING AND BRAKING WENT OUT. I STOPPED THE CAR, CHECKED UNDER THE HOOD FOR SOME SORT OF VISIBLE DAMAGE. SEEING NONE & CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL - I WENT TO RESTART AND FOUND THAT THE CAR WOULDN'T TURN OVER. DOUBLE CHECKED I WAS IN PARK, EVERYTHING WAS SQUARED AWAY - TOOK THE KEY OUT - PUT IT BACK IN, TURNED - AND HEARD A SINGLE IGNITION - LIKE ONE COIL WENT OFF - THEN STOPPED. TRIED IT AGAIN, WOULDN'T TURN OVER. SO I CALL DODGE ROADSIDE FOR A TOW AND SIT THERE FOR 10 MINUTES. WHILE WAITING I DECIDED TO THEN TRY IT AGAIN, THEN MAGICALLY THE STARTER ACTUALLY GOES AND IT TURNS OVER. I WAS MAYBE 5 MILES AWAY FROM THE DEALERSHIP - SO I TOOK IT STRAIGHT THERE WHERE THEY TOOK A LOOK AT IT. FOR WHATEVER REASON, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM NOR TELL ME WHY IT OCCURRED OR HOW I CAN PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING IN THE FUTURE. *TR

2010 DODGE CHARGER. CONSUMER WRITES REGARDING VEHICLE RECALL *TGW THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER IN THE MAIL. HOWEVER, WHEN HE ARRIVED AT THE DEALER, HE WAS INFORMED THERE WERE NO PARTS AVAILABLE, BUT THEY WOULD BE AVAILABLE IN 4 TO 5 DAYS. THE CONSUMER WAITED LONGER THAN 5 DAYS AND WHEN HE RETURNED TO THE DEALER, HE WAS TOLD THE PARTS HAD NOT ARRIVED. THE CONSUMER THEN CONTACTED ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD FIX HIS VEHICLE ANYTIME. *JB
