Alternator and battery have now had to be replaced three times within the past year. It appears to be the same issues, other Dodge chargers with a recall having. However, this VIN number is not on that recall list.

The contact owned a 2014 Dodge Charger. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled and then lost motive power with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart however, the failure recurred. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights illuminated while driving the vehicle. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was not available.

My ABS, BRAKE & ESC lights all came on at the same time on my dash. Took my car to a reputable mechanic and they told me that my abs module needed to be replaced but they were no longer available. So now I have to drive my car and worry about my brakes locking up if I have to come to a sudden stop for some reason since the anti-lock brakes are not working.

The alternator failed while the vehicle was in operation and it stalled without warning on the highway at 55 mph. This left the car without power steering and a dangerous situation until I was able to get the car to the side of the road. I was left stranded halfway on/off the road until I could get a wrecker to come tow. Towed the vehicle to he nearest automotive service center where I was told the alternator failed. It also shorted out the battery. Alternator, battery, and tow was $1200.00. I see recalls on the internet for my year and model car for the alternator but when I enter my VIN, it does not show up for my individual car. Why is that?

Dodge Charger 2014 BOUGHT IT ON 2015 NO USED WAS GREAT WHEN WE GOT. But IT'S BEEN 8 YRS NOW AND HAVING LOTS BIG PROBLEMS THAT ARE DEFECTED FROM THE MANUFACTUER COMPANY. Lock DOOR THEY DO NOT OPEN OR CLOSE DUE TO THE INTIROR OF THE DOORS ARE DETACHING FROM THE FRONT WTH TH KEY LESS REMOTE. MOST OF ALL THE DASHBOARD IS UNPLEEING FROM TOP OF THE DASH AND DOORS MIDE SECTION. STEERING IS BOUNCHING WHILE DRIVING ON SOMEWHAT UNEVEN ROAD HERE IN THE CITY. Paint STARTING TO PEEL ON THE HOOD. I BELIVE THAT IT IS A SAFTY HASSARED DUE TO IN EMERGENCY TO GET IN OR OUT OF THE CAR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET OUT. THE STEERING HAS A BIG PROBLEM THAT. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was provided a video by the dealer which showed various defects with her vehicle. The contact agreed only to the power steering module repair. After the repair, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would enter LIMP mode with the service engine warning light illuminated. The dealer was notified about the failure and the contact was provided a diagnostic fee to have the vehicle diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

2014 Dodge Charger electric power steering pump having issues turning steering wheel which I complain about 6 months ago after purchasing the vehicle for my son it a very serious problem concerning safety . They only recall 2014 Dodge Charger if the the power steering pump was install at specific Maufactured facilities, which is bs . Dodge should be responsible for any faulted power steering pump issue knowingly it exists. My son vehicle has this electric power steering pump issue and the manufacturer and Dodge dealer should replace due to safety issues. Please advise

MY STEERING WHEEL HAS LOCKED UP ON ME WHILE I'M DRIVING AT LEAST 10 TIMES IF NOT MORE SINCE I PURCHASED MY 2014 DODGE CHARGER IN 2015. ALL THESE INCIDENTS WHERE AT DIFFERENT TIME PERIODS AND AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS RANGING FROM 0 TO 60 MPH. THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD STAY LOCKED FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES. EACH TIME THAT IT HAS HAPPENED, I'VE BEEN CLOSE TO HAVING AN ACCIDENT EITHER HITTING SOMEONE ELSE OR RUNNING OFF THE ROAD. I WOULD TRY TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND ON TO SEE IF IT WOULD LOOSEN BACK UP. SOMETIMES IT WOULD WORK, OTHER TIMES IT WOULDN'T. I'VE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO MULTIPLE MECHANICS AND THEY ALL HAVE SAID IT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO SO WITH THE POWER STEERING SINCE THE VEHICLE IS ELECTRIC. I'VE THEN TAKEN IT TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP TO GET IT DIAGNOSED AND THEY SAID NOTHING COMES UP ON THEIR TESTS THAT SHOWS STEERING WHEEL DEFECTS. I'VE ALSO CONTACTED THE ACTUAL DODGE MANUFACTURER BUT THEY WEREN'T OF ANY HELP EITHER UNLESS A RECALL POPS UP. MY STABILITY CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON THE SAME DAY I WENT UP A STEEP DRIVEWAY. IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE AS MY TIRES SLIPPED ON SOME SAND BUT THE LIGHT TURNED RIGHT OFF. THIS TIME IT HAS STAYED ON AND IT WAS DIAGNOSED AS THE MULTI-AXIS ACCELERATION SENSOR (AKA DYNAMIC SENSOR) INTERNAL FAILURE. FIRESTONE HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS PART GOING OUT NOR HAS MY MECHANIC. I AM HOPING SOMETHING IS WRONG AND THIS PART GETS RECALLED AS I DO BELIEVE THE STEEP DRIVEWAY CAUSED THIS ISSUE WHICH SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. I AM ABLE TO STILL DRIVE MY CAR BUT THE CRUISE CONTROL IS NOW DISABLED AS THE CAR THINKS THE CAR CAN BE UNSTABLE/UNSAFE IN CRUISE CONTROL MODE.

FIRST MY CAR WOULD NOT DETECT MY KEYS (EVEN AFTER I REPLACED BATTER). WHEN I WAS DRIVING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD RANDOMLY COME ON AND OFF EVEN AFTER GETTING ALL REPAIRS COMPLETED. ONE DAY IT REPEATEDLY FLASHED ON AND OFF AND KEEPS CONSTANTLY. MY CAR WAS ALSO JUMPING AND VIBRATING EXTREMELY HARD AND THE ENGINE WAS TICKING. GOING SLOW OR SLOWING DOWN, MY CAR HAS A HARD TIME TURNING. I WENT TO AUTOZONE AND RAN AN DIAGNOSTICS. AFTERWARDS I TOOK IT TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP AND TOLD THEM WHAT I WAS EXPERIENCING AND WHAT THE DIAGNOSTIC SAID. I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT FIXED. MOREOVER, MY CAR IS STILL AT THE DEALERSHIP AND I DO NOT HAVE A RENTAL. THE LAST TIME I TOOK MY CAR IN FOR RECALLS, I WAS TOLD THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY RENTALS AND I WOULD HAVE TO PURCHASE MY OWN. ALSO, THEY NEVER TOLD ME THAT THE RECALL WITH MY BRAKE CHOCKS WEREN'T REPLACED. THE INDIVIDUALS WORKING IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT DIDN'T ACT REALLY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE DEMEANING AND SQUARING ME OF THINGS THAT I DIDN'T DO OR AGREE TO.

WARNING LIGHTS: SERVICE SHIFTER, SERVICE POWER STEERING, AUTO PARK DISABLED, CHECK ENGINE, THEN DASH LIGHTS STARTED BLACKING COMPLETELY OUT. VERY DANGEROUS! I TOOK TO MY MECHANIC AND HE SAYS THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP HAS BEEN FIRED. AFTER READING THE ALTENATOR RECALL, THIA EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED! ALL RECALLS HAVE BEEN FIXED ON THIS VEHICLE. AFTER CONTACTING LOCAL DEALERSHIPS I LEARNED THAT THERE ARE 89 PEOPLE JUST IN MY AREA NEEDING THIS SAME PUMP AND IT IS ON BACK ORDER. THIS TELLS ME THAT THERE IS A HUGE PROBLEM. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! NOW $1800 TO FIX AN ISSUE THAT NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED WITH ALTENATOR RECALL COMPLETED. I NOW HAVE A CAR THAT I AM STILL PAYING FOR, CANT DRIVE,CANT AFFORD TO FIX, AND WONT SELL TO SOMEONE ELSE KNOWING HOW DANGEROUS THIS IS. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE. I OWN A 2014 DODGE CHARGER SE AND HAD A FAULTY ALTERNATOR. IT APPEARS THAT THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED ISSUE WITH MY VEHICLE. PER NHTSA'S RECALL T36 AND T75 SOME ALTERNATORS WERE RECALLED FOR THIS VEHICLE. I BELIEVE THE RECALL SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED MY VEHICLES ALTERNATOR. BEFORE MAY 27TH, 2018, OUR ALTERNATOR FAILED. THE CAR WOULD NOT START, AT THE TIME WE WERE NOT SURE IF IT WAS THE ALTERNATOR. I HAD A LOCAL AUTO STORE TEST THE ALTERNATOR AND IT PASSED. SO, WE PURCHASED A NEW BATTERY. WE BELIEVED THAT RESOLVED THIS ISSUE. AFTER A MONTH, THE ISSUE HAPPENED AGAIN. IT APPEARS THE ALTERNATOR WAS NOT CHARGING THE BATTERY CORRECTLY. THE ISSUE WAS HIT OR MISS LUCKILY, WE DID NOT HAVE AN ISSUE WHILE DRIVING THE CAR. THIS CAR IS NOT AN EVERYDAY VEHICLE SO IT COULD GO A COUPLE OF WEEKS WITHOUT BEING DRIVEN. TO ALLEVIATE THE ISSUE, I REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR ON SEPTEMBER 15TH 2018. SINCE THAT TIME EVERYTHING HAS BEEN WORKING CORRECTLY. ATTACHED ARE A PHOTO OF THE OEM ALTERNATOR, THE AFTERMARKET ALTERNATOR, AND RECEIPT. I BELIEVE DODGE CHRYSLER SHOULD EXTEND THEIR CURRENT RECALLS TO INCLUDE THE DENSO 42100 ' 0750 ALTERNATOR. ON AUGUST 05 2017 WE WERE ON OUR WAY TO TAMPA,FL TRAVELLING ON US 41 IN GIBSOTON ,FL WHEN VEHICLE ALL OF A SUDDEN THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHUT DOWN OUT OF NOWHERE.NOTHING WOULD WORK NO LIGHTS,NO ALARM,NOTHING THE CAR WAS COMPLETELY DEAD.I CALLED TO HAVE IT TOWED BUT BC THE CAR WAS COMPLETELY DEAD THE AAA WORKER COULD NOT TO IT ON A FLATBED TOW TRUCK.THEY HAD TO HAVE A DOLLY LIFT TRUCK.THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND COULD HAVE RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT HAD I BEEN ON THE INTERSTATE.THE CAR GAVE ME NO INDICATION THAT ANYTHING WAS FAILING WAS RUNNING JUST FINE WHEN I LEFT MY HOME.THIS SHOULD BE A MAJOR CONCERN FOR THE MANUFACTURER THAT A VEHICLE WILL START JUST FINE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE VEHICLE WILL JUST STOP ANYWHERE AT ANY GIVEN TIME.IVE OWNED A NUMEROUS OF VEHICLES AND WHEN IT COMES TO AN ALTERNATOR YOU USUALLY HAVE SOME INDICATION THAT IT IS GOING BAD.I TOOK IT TO THE NEAREST REPAIR SHOP AND THE CONFIRMED THAT THE ALTERNATOR WAS THE REASON FOR THE VEHICLE STOPPING COMPLETELY ON ME.

THE PRESTIGUE CHRYSLER DEALER WAS CONTACTED, BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000.

THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALER (MCKAY'S DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM, 2020 FRONTAGE RD N, WAITE PARK, MN, 56387) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR HAD FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, THE CONTACT BECAME AWARE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V435000 (ELECTRICAL). THE CONTACT CALLED THE DEALER WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT HER VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL AND STATED THAT HER VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED 2 WEEKS AFTER THE SPECIFIC RECALL DATES OF DECEMBER, AND THE VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED IN JANUARY. I ALWAYS BRING MY CAR TO RANCHO CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE ON 8010 BALBOA AVENUE SAN DIEGO, CA 92111 REGARDING THE "BATTER SAVER MODE". I'VE HAD THIS CAR FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS AND HAVE GONE IN SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THIS ISSUE. THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY/ALTERNATOR AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT I WAS TOLD AND THE "BATTERY SAVER MODE" STILL COMES ON. I TEST THE KEY FOB NOT RESPONDING. DASHBOARD LIGHTS UP, MESSAGE SCREEN IS WHITE, CAR PUTS IT'S SELF IN RUN BUT ENGINE NOT STARTING. YOU CAN MOVE THE GEAR TO PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL. I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH FCA SINCE 8/31/16, SO FOR 28 DAYS NOW, THAT I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT POWER STEERING. I FILED MY FIRST COMPLAINT ON, OR AROUND 9/12/16. I EXPERIENCED THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS AS STATED IN NHTSA PE14022 WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT APPORXIMATELY 65MPH. EVERY WARNING LIGHT WENT OFF FLASHING, SERVICE TRANSMISSION MESSAGE, SERVICE POWER STEERING , AND TACH, AND SPEEDO WOULD DROP TO ZERO , AND I WOULD LOSE ENGINE POWER, AND POWER STEERING. I CAPTURED THE INCIDENT ON VIDEO, AND PROVIDED THE VIDEO TO NHTSA, I WILL AGAIN PROVIDE A LINK FOR THE VIDEO HERE : HTTPS://YOUTU.BE/E96HVQPEP10 . IN DEALING WITH FCA LLC, THEY REFUSE TO REPLACE THE ELECTRIC HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING PUMP THAT WAS FRIED FROM THIS INCIDENT OCCURING. FCA IS SAYING THAT IT WAS THE "2 YEAR OLD MOPAR BATTERY" THAT CAUSED THE INCIDENT, AND REFUSE TO REPLACE THE EHPS PUMP THAT WORKED PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE THIS OCCURED. I REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR PER NHTSA RECALL NO. 14V-634 A GREAT DEAL OF TIME PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT OCCURING. FCA IS TRYING TO CIRCUMVENT HAVING TO REPLACE THE PUMP BY CHANGING THE ORIGIN OF THE MEANS TO THE BATTERY, INSTEAD OF THE ALTERNATOR. I HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED WITH HOW FCA REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE ALL OF THE PROOF GIVEN TO THEM. I AM NOT ALONE IN THIS, THERE HAD BEEN MANY COMPLAINTS FILED WITH SIMILAR RESULTS AS MINE IN DEALING WITH FCA. IT'S TIME FOR NHTSA TO DO SOMETHING TO REMEDY THIS ISSUE WITH FCA. FCA OFFERED TO REPLACE THE $1400 EHPS PUMP IF I PAY A $500 CO-PAY, I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS OFFER BASED ON THE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER. ON AUGUST 29TH 2016 I WAS RETURNING(DRIVING ON US20) HOME FROM SOME OFFICIAL BUSINESS, WHEN MY DASH STARTED FLASHING, ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS WOULD FLASH, THE SPEED DISPLAYED WOULD GO UP, AND DOWN , AND THE CAR STARTED CHANGING GEARS. THERE WAS A TICKING SOUND COMING FROM MY GEAR SHIFT, LIKE IT WAS TRYING TO SELECT GEAR. THE POWER STEERING LIGHT , AND SERVICE TRANSMISSION MESSAGE KEEP COMING UP AS WELL. I WOULD INTERMITTENLY LOSE POWER STEERING DURING THIS, AND POWER FROM THE ENGINE WOULD LAG ALSO. I HAVE A THREE MINUTE, AND THIRTY-FIVE SECOND VIDEO OF WHAT WAS OCCURING. I CONTACTED SOME MECHANIC FRIENDS THAT WORK ON INDIANA STATE POLICE CHARGERS, AND THEY THOUGHT IT COULD BE THE BATTERY SHORTING OUT. THE NEXT MORNING I REPLACED THE BATTERY, AND INSTALLED PROPERLY WITH POSITIVE POST FIRST. THIS SEEM TO RESOLVE THE DASH FLASHING SYMPTOMS, BUT I THEN HAD NO POWER STEERING AT ALL. I TOOK TO OUR LOCAL DODGE DEALER IN LAGRANGE, IN THEY RAN A DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS, AND DETERMINED THE ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING PUMP WAS NO GOOD. THE POWER STEERING PUMP WORKED PERFECTLY FINE WITH NO ISSUES AT ALL, EVER, BEFORE THESE ELECTRICAL ISSUES OCCURED. THIS VEHICLE IS USED TO TRANSPORT THE US CONGRESSMAN, WHEN HE IS IN THE DISTRICT ON OFFICIAL BUSINESS, AND WE NEED IT REPAIRED ASAP. IT IS MY OPINION, THE POWER STEERING PUMP WAS DESTROYED BY THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES CONCERNING THE RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE. IT IS ALSO MY OPINION THAT FAC LLC SHOULD REPLACE THE POWER STEERING PUMP AT NO COST PER THE CONSENT ORDER PERTAINING TO THIS RECALL. I DROVE A RENTAL CAR FROM FRIDAY JUNE 1ST-JUNE 8TH, THE "CLUSTER" IN THE DASH WAS NOT READING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I WAS TOLD IT WAS "ALL FIXED". WHEN THE VEHICLE PULLED UP I GOT IN AND BEGAN TO PULL AWAY AS MY DASHBOARD WENT BLACK. I TURNED AROUND. MY ADVISOR BROUGHT IT BACK AND EXPLAINED THAT IT NEEDED TO BE "RESET" BUT THAT HE'LL ORDER A NEW CLUSTER. I GET INTO MY VEHICLE THERE IS AN "ERROR" SIGN WHERE THE MILAGE IS SUPPOSED TO BE. I TOOK THE CAR TO DEALERSHIP 2 WEEKS PREVIOUSLY, THEY JUST RESET MY CEL LAMP AND SAID BRING IT BACK IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. WHEN THE BATTERY SAVER MODE IS ON THE POWER STEERING STOPS WORKING OR WORKS LESS. THE POWER STEERING PUMP AND RACK AND PINION HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE. THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS EVERY DAY, IN TOWN OR ON THE FREEWAY. 2. THE RADIO KEEPS SHORTING OUT, IT'S BEEN REPLACED 3 TIMES. THIS HAPPENS DAILY, IT QUITS, BLEW OUT THE SPEAKERS, NAVAGTION STOPPED WORKING. 3. THE HEATER KEEPS GETTING STUCK ON EITHER 100% HOT OR 100% A/C ON COLD. SETTINGS WILL NOT CHANGE. CONTROLS HAVE BEEN REPLACED 3 TIMES, THE HEAT/COLD DOOR MOTOR WAS REPLACE TWICE. THE CAR HAS SPENT 185 DAYS IN SERVICE THIS YEAR. WHEN THEY GIVE THE CAR BACK IT ACTS UP IN ABOUT 5 MINS. I GOT OUT BECAUSE IT WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD SO FOR MY SAFETY I LEFT IT THERE FINALLY A FEW GUYS STOPPED PUSHED IT TO SAFETY TILL THE TOW TRUCK ARRIVED IT WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER AGAIN WHICH THEY KEPT UNTIL FRIDAY THE 20TH I REFUSED TO DRIVE IT SO THE DEALER HAD SOMEONE TO DRIVE IT TO MY HOME AT THAT TIME I PLEADED WITH CHRYSLER TO LET ME KEEP THE RENTAL CAR BECAUSE I HAD A FUNERAL I HAD TO ATTEND ON SATURDAY 21ST THEY TOLD ME NO THAT MY CAR WAS READY AND IF I DIDN'T DRIVE IT THEY WOULD CONSIDER IT TO BE ABANDONED SO I SAID OK BUT I WOULD BE VERY UPSET IF I MISSED THIS FUNERAL! SO DROVE TO THE HOUSE AS WE LINED UP FOR THE FUNERAL EVERYONE ONE WAS IN PLACE AS WE PROCEED TO LEAVE THE HOUSE FOR THE FUNERAL GUEST I WENT TO ACCELERATE AND MY CAR WOULD NOT MOVE IT CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUNERAL LINE I WAS SO EMBARRASSED I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO SO NEEDLESS TO SAY I MISSED THE FUNERAL AND THE GRAVESIDE SERVICE AS WELL AND AS OF TODAY FRIDAY 27TH MY CAR IS STILL AT THE DEALERSHIP WITH NO ANSWERS !!! IT'S SIMPLY JUST GIVE ME A NEW CAR IF I WANTED A LEMON I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT ONE. *TR

BATTERY SAVER MESSAGE WENT ON. LIGHTS FLICKERED.SINCE THERE IS AN UPCOMING RECALL ON ALTERNATOR WITH THE 2014 MODELS MANUFACTURED APRIL 22, 2010, TO JANUARY 2, 2014 AND MY CARS MANUFACTURED DATE IS MAY OF 2014 I HOPE YOU WILL INCLUDE ALL 2014 MODELS FOR THE RECALL. ALTHOUGH MY ALTERNATOR HAS YET TO COMPLETELY FAIL THE HISTORY OF THE CURRENT FAILURES BEGAN WITH BATTERY SAVER MESSAGES AND ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. I WOULD LIKE TO GET THIS RESOLVED BEFORE MY CAR LOSES POWER ON THE HIGHWAY WITH MY 3 CHILDREN IN IT AND POSSIBLE GETTING HURT. RADIO SHUT OFF AND WOULD NOT TURN ON WHILE DRIVING TO DESTINATION. ONCE I GOT TO MY DESTINATION, I HAD THE CAR IN PARK, BUT THE ENGINE STILL TURNED ON. ALL OF THE GAUGES IN THE DASHBOARD STARTED GOING CRAZY AND THEN THE INSIDE LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING. THE CAR THEN SHUT OFF AND HAD ABSOLUTELY NO POWER WHATSOEVER. COULD NOT EVEN PUT MY CAR IN "NEUTRAL" TO MOVE IT OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD BECAUSE IT IS "PUSH TO START" AND HAS NO WAY OF GETTING POWER TO THE TRANSMISSION TO BE ABLE TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WAITING FOR DODGE'S ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO GET THERE FROM 12:00 AM UNTIL 5:30 AM. THE TOW TRUCK EVENTUALLY CAME AND TOOK IT TO THE NEAREST DEALERSHIP TO FIND OUT THAT MY ALTERNATOR WENT OUT AND COMPLETELY DRAINED THE BATTERY AS WELL. MY CAR WAS ONLY 3 THOUSAND MILES OUTSIDE OF THE 36K BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY AND ONLY 2 YEARS OLD. WELL TIMED, DODGE!! WAY TO GET OUT OF PAYING FOR YOUR MISTAKES!! *TR

ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING. TOOK IT IN FOR SERVICE AND DEALER STATED THAT IT'S AN O2 SENSOR MALFUNCTION. DEALER HAD THE CAR FOR 2 DAYS. THEY CLAIMED THAT THEY REPLACED ALL O2 SENSORS. ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AFTER 1 WEEK. TOOK IT BACK TO THE SAME DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE SOFTWARE HAD TO BE UPGRADED. AFTER 3 DAYS, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. TOOK IT BACK TO THE SAME DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS HAS TO BE CHANGE. SERVICE PERSON SAID THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO ORDER PARTS AND AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES. HE WILL CONTACT US. AFTER 4 DAYS, WE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THAT THE SERVICE PERSON THAT TOOK CARE OF US FROM DAY 1 HAD BEEN TERMINATED. SPOKE TO A NEW SERVICE PERSON AND HE STATED THAT HE 'S NOT AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. WE INSISTED THAT THE CAR BE DIAGNOSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND GAVE US AN APPOINTMENT ON 7/19/14. IN THE MEAN TIME, THE CAR CANNOT BE DRIVEN TOO FAR. PERFORMANCE OF THE CAR IS VERY ERRATIC AND WOULD FEEL THAT IT WOULD SHUT OFF. ALTHOUGH, SERVICE PERSON STATED THAT IS OK TO BE DRIVEN. *TR
