TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1990 DODGE DYNASTY. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING BETWEEN 35-40 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION WOULD REMAIN IN SECOND GEAR UNTIL THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF. THE ENGINE RESTARTED AND RESUMED NORMALLY. IN ADDITION, WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A COMPLETE STOP THE TRANSMISSION EXHIBITED A JERKING MOTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A TRANSMISSION SHOP FOR DIAGNOSIS. CONSUMER RECEIVED RECALL 96V099000 CONCERNING ABS BRAKE FAILURE. ABS BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYED ON. AFTER DRIVING 45 MPH, CONSUMER SMELLED A BURNING ODOR. CONSUMER LEFT THE VEHICLE, BUT SAW NOTHING BURNING. AFTER GETTING BACK INTO THE VEHICLE, AND WHEN PRESSING THE BRAKES, CONSUMER FELT A PULSING SENSATION. ALSO, VEHICLE HAD FOUR TRANSMISSIONS INSTALLED. *AK
