BAD PAINT ITS PEELING FLAKEING THE WOOD GRAIN TOO FAIDING BAD TRANS I JUST PAID A DEALERSHIP OVER 2 GRAND FOR A NEW ONE WARRANTEED FOR ONLY 3 YEARS OR 36,000 MILES. BAD POWER WINDOWS CABLE BROKE=OVER $400.= ME GETTINGSCREWD BAD LUG NUTS LITTLE METAL CAPS OVER LUGNUTS COME OFF AND THEN TIRE TOOL DOSENT FIT SO YOU END UP AT THE DEALERSHIP GETTING THEM CUT OFF. KEEPS STALLING HEADLINER FALLING DOWN HEADLIGHTS ARE TOTALLY YELLOW AT NIGHT YOU CANT SEE MORE THAN 50 FEET ON LOW BEAMS SO YOU HAVE TO HAVE HIGH BEAMS ON JUST TO GET LOW BEAM QUALITY. BREAKS NEW ROTORS, MASTERCILLENDER, HARDWEAR, DRUMS, SHOES, PADS, FLUID, MASTERCILLENDER CAPS, WEEL CILLENDERS,= OVER $500. TO THE DEALER AND ME AND MY FAM STRANDED ON THE ROADSIDE FOR 4 HOURES GETTING RECALLED PARTS FITTED ONLY TAKES AN ACT OF CONGRESS AND ABOUT THREE DAYS WITH OUT A CAR UNLESS THEY GIVE YOU THERE "LOANER" LOANER=CAR NO ONE WOULD BUT TWELVE YEARS AGO. GEAR SHIFT DISENGAGED FROM PARK WHILE VEHICLE IGNITION WAS OFF. PURSE STRAP LOOPED OVER GEAR SHIFT AS OWNER WAS EXITING VEHICLE CAUSING VEHICLE GEAR SHIFT TO MOVE FROM PARK, VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL BACKWARDS CAUSING OWNER TO SLIP UNDER LEFT FRONT WHEEL. *AK
DRIVER'S SIDE SEATBELT RETRACTOR IS STUCK AND WILL NOT COME APART. ALSO, TRANSMISSION FAILED WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. THIS WAS THE SIXTH TRANSMISSION.*AK AFTER TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED, THE ENGINE BEGAN TO STALL. GAS GAUGE FAILED. DASHBOARD LIGHT SHORTENED OUT. SPEEDOMETER FAILED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED 4 TIMES. TRANSMISSION NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY. FRONT END VIBRATES ESPECIALLY WHEN TURNING. BRAKES ARE GRINDING. REAR VIEW MIRROR FELL OFF. HIGH MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT SHORTENED OUT. SIDE WINDOW AND DOOR RATTLING. TRANSMISSION LOCKED IN LOW GEAR 1/7/96 (34440 MILES), REBUILT BY CHRYSLER UNDER WARRANTY; TRANSMISSION BANGED HARD ON HIGHWAY (LOST REVERSE, HAD LOW GEAR ONLY AND HAD CLANGING WHILE DRIVING TO DEALER) ON 12/13/99 (71899 MILES), CHRYSLER REPLACED TRANSMISSION AND TORQUE CONVERTER, I HAD TO PAY HALF; LOCKED IN LOW GEAR 9/7/00 (79419 MILES) DEALER SERVICE SAID IT WAS A WIRING PROBLEM WITH TRANSMISSION INPUT SENSOR AND I PAID TO FIX IT. TRANSMISSION NOW FREQUENTLY MAKES SQUEAKY NOISES WHEN SHIFTING, SOMETIMES FEELS LIKE SOMETHING UNDER CAR IS SLAMMING FORWARD WHEN STARTING TO ACCELERATE AND MAKES LITTLE BANGS/BUMPS WHEN COASTING LIKE THERE IS A BUMP ON THE ROAD AND THERE ISN'T ANY BUMP.

IT WILL GO VERY SLOW OR YOU HAVE TO FLOOR IT TO GO. WHEN GOING UP A VERY SMALL HILL YOU WILL HAVE A SEVER DECREASE IN POWER. YOU WILL GO DOWN TO ABOUT 20 MPH.*AK
BRAKES ARE NOW INTERMITTENT. WARNING LIGHTS COME ON, THEN GO OUT, THEN REPEAT THE SEQUENCE. DURING THE PROBLEM A HIGH PEDAL PRESSURE IS REQUIRED TO ACHEIVE BRAKING.
TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST SAID LIFE EXPECTANCY IS 50,000 - 70,000 MILES. MADE HIGH PITCH WHINING NOISE GOING UP A HILL AND THEN WOULD NOT GO VERY FAST(APPROX 15 MPH) SPECIALIST SAID OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSIONS ARE RATED ON CUNSUMER REPORTS WEBISTE AS NOT VERY GOOD. CHRYSLER NOTIFIED AND NOT WILLING TO DO ANYTHING REGARDING PROBLEM. LOCAL DEALER STATES REBUILD A LOT DUE TO SEALS HARDENENNG AND NOT FLEXIBLE.
WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY WITH CRUISE CONTROL ON TRANSMITION SLIPED COUSING VEHICLE TO LOSE SPEED AND COME TO A STOP.
VEHICLE NOW ON THIRD TRANSMISSION. THE 604 OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION EVIDENTLY HAS A MAXIMUM LIFE OF ABOUT 70,000 MILES, IF THAT MUCH. THE 604 IS PRONE TO FAIL AT ANY TIME. CHRYSLER/DODGE KNOWS THIS. THE DEALERS KNOW THIS. THE REPAIR SHOPS KNOW THIS. THE NHTSA SHOULD KNOW THIS. OUR BANK ACCOUNT CERTAINLY DOES. THE TRANSMISSION IS DEFECTIVE. IT IS NOT NECESSARILY A SAFETY DEFECT ALTHOUGH A COMPLETE FAILURE OF A TRANSMISSION WHEN NONE SHOULD REASONABLY BE EXPECTED COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF LIFE AND/OR PROPERTY. YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN US TRY TO GET OUT OF THE WAY ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN OUR TRANSMISSION FAILED. IN THIS RESPECT, WE WERE LUCKY.
ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION FAILED WHEN VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND WOULD NOT GO INTO GEAR. THE 2ND FAILED WHILE DRIVING, WENT FROM 35 TO 15 AND RPM WENT FROM 2 TO 5. HAD TO BE COAXED TO THE NEAREST PARKING LOT. THE 3RD, AT 113,500, IS PRESENTLY NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY, BUCKING, AND CUTTING OUT WHILE DRIVING, ALTHOUGH NOT ALL THE TIME. HAVE BEEN TOLD THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE 3RD. *AK
OVERDRIVE "O" RING BREAKS, CAUSES VEHICLE TO GO INTO LIMP MODE. REPLACED TRANSMISSION AT 85000, CURRENT TRANSMISSION IS GOING OUT AT 110000 MILES (25000 CURRENT MILES ON TRANSMISSION)- SAME CAUSE
THE ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION DROPPED INTO LOW GEAR WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH AND WOULD NOT SHIFT AGAIN. AT THE TIME, THE VEHICLE HAD 62500 MILES ON IT. THE TRANSMISSION REPAIR FACILITY DIAGNOSED COMPLETE TRANSMISSION FAILURE AND ORDERED AN ENTIRE NEW TRANSMISSION INSTALLED ($1550.00). THE NEW TRANSMISSION WAS AN ORIGINAL EQUIMENT REPLACEMENT FROM DODGE AND WAS WARRANTEED FOR 12 MONTHS / 12000 MILES. 35000 MILES LATER (VEHICLE READING 98000 MILES) THE TRANSMISSION HAS FAILED AGAIN AND REQUIRES A REPLACEMENT.
CONSUMER HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION HAS GONE OUT TWICE. THE MANUFACTURER HAS YET TO BE CONTACTED. *AK
