Car doesnt start all the time when it does it ends up shutting off. it shuts off while driving, also cuts in and out while driving.
The steering locked up could not turn or straighten car out. All electrical things lights air conditioning gas light just went haywire and is still not working. The shifting system I guess is what u call it started slipping out of gear like going into natural or first gear and nothing else. Several cars had to serve to keep from getting hit at 70+ miles an hour and I had no control other than to hit the break on the freeway and pray. Accordingly to the Bob site there's so many problems I know the ones I've had I just didn't know I could let any one know that mattered. I've reported it today. The first time it slipped out of gear I thought maybe it was something I may have done as far as the electric it was Little things like AC works as it pleases airbags light up tire pressure ECT the gas light no longer moves stays on E unknown to exact dates
Vehicle owner was driving and pulled over when all warning lights began flashing, wipers came on, horn started honking, windows would not go down, doors would not unlock, and vehicle started on fire. Fire appeared to begin in the engine compartment, with fire eventually consuming entire vehicle.
1- My steering started making a noise when I would make a right turn. I took it to the dealer service and they informed me that the metal battery holder completely rusted away and the battery dropped down onto the inner wheel well and when I made a turn it would hit the tire and steering arm. When this started I had not driven the car after that because I felt unsafe. So I called Chrysler Customer Service and ask them to refund my money for the repair ($700+} since I Told them of possibly be injured or killed if the steering locked up while driving. They gave me a case number and said they would review it. They denied the request and blew me off with " it's out of warranty". I said I knew that and you were not concerned with my family's safety. So I need your help to recalling all Journeys which could happen to them. 2- The lugs nuts on dodges are covered in a casing and after a few years they separate from the nut. This is a big problem because the lug wrench not longer fits and I had to buy a MM deep socket to fit that nut when I would have fix a flat tire. You should review that too.
BAD KEY ERROR EVEN AFTER WIN MODULE HAS BEEN REPLACED. ISSUE HAS BEEN PROMINENT SINCE RECALL WAS REPAIRED IN 2016 THEN ISSUE WITH STARTING THE ENGINE CAME UP. DEALERSHIP COULDN'T RECREATE ISSUE AND WOULDN'T FIX PROBLEM. NOW 2021, CAR GIVES BAD KEY ERROR AND WON'T RECOGNIZE ANY KEYS OR START UP WITH REMOTE START. WIN MODULE WAS REPLACED AND TWO DAYS LATER, SAME ISSUE.

CAR WAS TAKEN TO CHRYSLER JEEP RECENTLY . I WAS INFORMED THAT I NEEDED A NEW IGNITION NODULE AT AN APPROX. COST OF $1,000. IN CHECKING ONLINE I FIND THAT I AM ONE OF HUNDREDS WITH THE SAME COMPLAINT.I BELIEVE CHRYSLER HAS RECALLED THESE CARS FOR FAULTY IGNITION SWITCHES. I AM LOOKING FOR HELP WITH THE NEXT STEP. THE VEHICLE WILL STALL ON CRANKING WHICH A RED LIGHT WILL LIGHT UP YOU WILL HAVE TO GET UNDER VEHICLE AND TAP STARTER CONSTANTLY TO CRANK. STARTER HAS BEEN REPLACED 2X PROBLEM STILL HAPPENS ITS SPARK FIRE UNDER CAR. THE VEHICLE WILL BE CUT OFF STATIONED AFTER A DRIVE THEN IT WAS CRANK PERIOD UNTIL 20 MIN . WHEN PARKED TO GET IN AND DRIVE IT WANT START. HAS BEEN TEST ON MACHINE BATTERY GOOD STARTER GOOD AND TRANSMISSION IT DETECTED AND ELECTRICAL. ALSO WHEN UNLOCKING DOORS ONLY 3 DOORS WILL UNLOCK ONE YOU HOT UNLOCK WIPERS WILL COME ON.

ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS MY DODGE JOURNEY HAS SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING AND WHILE SITTING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. SOME INSTANCES OCCURRED WHILE TURNING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT OR DRIVING STRAIGHT AHEAD ON A LOCAL CITY ROAD. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, TRACTION EQUALIZER WARNING AND AIR BAG LIGHTS ALL COME ON JUST PRIOR TO THE CAR SHUTTING OFF MOST TIMES. OTHER TIMES THERE IS NO WARNING UNTIL MY STEERING WHEEL AND BRAKES LOCK UP INDICATED THAT THE CAR HAS SHUT OFF. I'VE HAD THE CAR SERVICED FOR THE ENGINE AMONGST OTHER REPAIRS AND THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS AND THE CODES CLEAR ONLY TEMPORARILY. THE CAR LIGHTS DIM OR FLICKER AND THE CAR SHAKES SOMETIMES WHEN STARTING UP INDICATING THAT THE CAR WILL NOT HOLD POWER TO DRIVE. THE BATTERY IS GOOD AND THE MECHANIC HAS STATED THAT THE ISSUE IS ELECTRICAL.

THEY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. THEY ENDED UP GETTING IT TO START WITH NO ANSWERS FOR ME. THEY JUST SAID THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHATS WRONG WITH IT OR WHY IT ACTED THE WAY IT DID. I DID SOME RESEARCH. ITS COMMON IN DODGE JOURNEYS; THEREFORE DODGE SHOULD ADRESS THE ISSUE.

I PAID APPROXIMATELY $232.00 FOR A NEW BATTERY AND 2 1/2 WEEKS LATER I WAS STRANDED AGAIN DUE TO MY CAR NOT STARTING IN NOVEMBER, SINCE THEN I'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM 8 TIMES WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LEAVE MY HOME. ALL OF MY MAJOR PARTS ARE OPERATING CORRECTLY AND NOTHING IS DRAINING MY BATTERY. CAN CHRYSLER PLEASE ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY WHAT IS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM? SINCE SEPTEMBER 2018 CAR WOULD NOT START. BATTERY WAS NEW SO I HAD THE STARTER REPLACED THINKING MAYBE THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. MY CAR STILL HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. IT WOULD RANDOMLY START. SO ONCE I COULD GET IT STARTED, I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC. HE COULD NOT ISOLATE THE PROBLEM ALTHOUGH IT WOULD STILL RANDOMLY START AND RECOMMENDED THAT I TAKE IT TO THE DEALER. I DID AND THE DEALER SAID EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT FINE BUT RECOMMENDED THAT I HAVE THE STARTER REPLACED AS WELL AS THE EGR SYSTEM AND HE QUOTED ME OVER $1200. I CANʻT AFFORD THAT. I HAD ALREADY PAID TO HAVE MY BATTERY TESTED AT SEARS WHERE I BOUGHT MY DIEHARD AND HAD BOUGHT A NEW STARTER THAT MY BROTHER INSTALLED. INSTEAD, I TOOK IT BACK TO MY MECHANIC WHO REPLACED IT WITH ANOTHER STARTED AND EGR SYSTEM FOR $300 LESS. IT ONLY WORKED FOR A FEW DAYS. I ONLY GET A CLICK THEN NOTHING. TODAY, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I TRAVEL 30 MILES EACH WAY TO GET TO WORK AND THIS IS FRUSTRATING. I TRIED THE ʻBRAKE, ON, NEUTRALʻ AND IT DIDNʻT WORK. I FINALLY GOT IT TO START THIS MORNING WHEN I DID THE ʻBRAKE, ON, MOVE THE GEAR SHIFT SIDE TO SIDE IN THE PARK POSITIONʻ BUT WHEN I GOT OFF WORK THIS AFTERNOON, THAT DIDNʻT WORK. INSTEAD, I DID THE ʻBRAKE, ON, NEUTRAL, PARKʻ AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP. I DONʻT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK TOMORROW THOUGH. I HAD TO GET A NEW BATTERY/NEW BRAKES FRONT/BACK/ROTORS/BALL JOINT/ NUT/SNAP RING/THEN CAR JUST QUIT ON ME WHILE DRIVING, FREAKED ME OUT, THEN I HAD TO HAVE THE STARTER REPLACED, ON 8/26/2018, NOW CAR WENT BACK IN SHOP ON 9/12/2018 BC THE TRANSMISSION STALLED ON ME & I ALMOST GOT REARED END, THE METER MACHINE SAYS IT NEEDS THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE RESET, WRONG, THE PROBLEM IS THE TRANSMISSION & BEEN HEARING ALL KINDS OF NASTY THINGS TO DO WITH THE CHYRSLER DODGE IGNITION/ TRANSMISSION / STARTER, THIS CAR HAS COST ME SO MUCH MONEY THAT I WAS LIED TOO.. SEVERAL TIMES WITHIN THE PAST 6 MONTHS (JAN-JUNE 2018) I HAVE TRIED TO START MY CAR AND IT WILL NOT START. SOMETIMES MOMENTS LATER IT WILL START, SOMETIMES HOURS LATER IT WILL START. UPON SEARCHING ONLINE FOR POSSIBLE PROBLEMS, I FOUND MANY WHO HAD THE SAME ISSUES (CAR SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING, AND CAR NOT STARTING). IT SEEMS THERE WAS A RECALL TO FIX THESE VERY PROBLEMS. THE RECALL WAS REGARDING THE IGNITION MODULE. I RECENTLY PURCHASED MY CAR FROM ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL AND I DO NOT KNOW IF THE RECALL WAS ADDRESS INITIALLY. HOW CAN I FIND OUT. IF MY CAR WAS NOT FIXED, HOW CAN I GET THE RECALL FIXED NOW? IF IT WAS FIXED, THEN THE VEHICLE IS STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND THE "RECALL FIX" DID NOT ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM. THE HEATER CORE IN MY 2009 DODGE JOURNEY HAS BEEN AN ISSUE FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS. IT HAS BEEN BEEN REPLACED IN 2014, FLUSHED IN 2015, FLUSHED IN 2016 AND NOW NEEDS REPLACE AGAIN. THIS IS 1300.00 TO REPLACE THE CORE. THIS IS DEFINITELY A DESIGN FLAW AND SHOULD BE REPLACED BY DODGE AT NO COST TO ME. THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH THIS YEAR. I CAN NOT AFFORD TO PUT OUT THAT KIND OF MONEY EVERY YEAR. THIS NEEDS LOOKED INTO. THE PASSENGER SIDE HAD SOME HEAT BUT NOW HAS NONE. I ALWAYS SEEMS TO BREAKDOWN WHEN IT IS COMING INTO THE COLD SEASON. IT IS NOT FAIR THAT THE CONSUMER SHOULD HAVE TO CONTINUE TO PAY FOR DODGE'S DESIGN FLAW. ALSO, THE BRAKES AND ROTORS ARE ANOTHER ONGOING ISSUE, THEY HAVE BEEN REPLACED NUMEROUS TIMES AT MY COST. THIS IS ANOTHER ONGOING ISSUE WITH THIS PARTICULAR CAR. TODAY THE CAR DID THE SAME THING, IT WOULD CLICK BUT NOT TURN OVER. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED FOR 15 MINUTES WHILE I WENT INTO THE HOSPITAL. A BYSTANDER SAID SHE THINKS IT WAS THE BATTERY BASED ON THE SOUND WHICH I KNOW IT COULD NOT BE AS THE BATTERY WAS JUST REPLACED. I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO START THE CAR AND IT WOULD NOT TURN OVER. THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE IS 94 DEGREES. I LOOKED ONLINE AND SAW THERE WERE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS IN DIFFERENT FORUMS FROM CONSUMERS WITH THE EXACT SAME MAKE AND MODEL. ONE COMMENTER STATED THAT IF YOU PRESS THE BRAKE THEN PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL THE CAR SHOULD START AND IT WOULD INDICATE THAT THE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH WAS THE ISSUE. I FOLLOWED THE SUGGESTION AND THE CAR STARTED. AS I HAVE LOOKED THROUGH SEVERAL DIFFERENT ONLINE FORUMS I SEE THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MAKE AND MODEL HOWEVER I DO NOT SEE A RECALL ISSUED.

WE TOOK IT TO ONE SHOP WHO COULDN'T FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM AND WE THEN TOOK IT TO A DODGE DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP COULDN'T FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM EITHER. WE TOOK IT TO A 3RD SHOP AND THEY TRIED SEVERAL FIXES TO NO AVAIL. THEY THINK IT MIGHT BE A TORQUE CONVERTER NOW. IF THAT FIXES THE PROBLEM WE'LL HAVE SPENT OVER $2000 REPAIRING THE CAR AND NOT BEING DRIVABLE FOR A MONTH. IF IT DOESN'T FIX THE PROBLEM THEN I HAVE AN ISSUE EVEN MANUFACTURER TRAINED MECHANICS CAN'T FIGURE OUT.

PAID TO HAVE ANOTHER HEATER COIL INSTALLED. SAID IT WAS WARRANTED FOR 2 YEARS. SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED LAST WEEK. WENT AND TALKED TO DEALER ABOUT WARRANTY FOR THIS ONE. THEY SAID NO, THAT IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY BY 15 DAYS. TOLD ME TO CALL DODGE GOOD WILL DEPARTMENT. THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO PAY TO HAVE IT CHECKED FIRST. THAT COST WAS ABOUT $80.00 AND NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULD BE COVERED EVEN THOUGH IT'S AN ON GOING PROBLEM. AN EMPLOYEE TOLD ME THAT THEY REPLACE A LOT OF THESE HEATER COILS. OBVIOUSLY THERE'S A PROBLEM. CHECKED ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND THERE'S A LOT OF THE SAME PROBLEMS THAT I'M HAVING, HOT AIR ON DRIVERS SIDE COLD AIR ON PASSENGERS SIDE UNTIL IT TOTALLY GOES UP. SEVERAL MECHANICS ON THE INTERNET STATED THAT IT'S A FLAW IN ITS DESIGN. 2 MAIN PROBLEMS, FIRST SEEMS SPLIT SECOND IT PLUGS WITH SEDIMENT VERY EASILY. OBVIOUSLY VERY LITTLE HEAT WHEN CAR IS RUNNING.

WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO HAVE THIS ISSUE TAKEN CARE OF BY THE MANUFACTURER WHEN THESE ARE OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE. DOES SOME ONE HAVE TO BE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD GET IN AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE THE STEM BLOWS OUT AND THEY GET A FLAT OR BLOW A TIRE. I SHOWED THEM THE SAFETY NOTICE PRIOR TO THE WORK BEING DONE AND THEY INFORMED ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A KEY SHANK. I DISPUTED WITH THEM THAT THE NOTICE SAYS PARTS AND LABOR WERE FREE OF CHARGE. ON MARCH 6TH I RECEIVED A LETTER STATING THAT THE WINGATE L25 WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE, BUT THEY NEVER MENTIONED WHAT WAS THE ACTUAL CAUSE. NEEDLESS TO SAY I GOT THE RUN AROUND FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND IN THE END CHRYSLER'S LEGAL DEPARTMENT TOLD ME THAT THE FINDINGS WERE UNKNOWN AND THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. MY VEHICLE WAS BURNT UP BY THE TIME IT COMPLETED IT'S COURSE...IT WAS SO BAD TO THE POINT YOU COULD BARELY RECOGNIZE MY CHILD'S CAR SEAT. I DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE VEHICLE FOR A YEAR AND THIS HAPPENED. AS A MOM WITH FOUR YOUNG KIDS, THIS IS ONE OF MY WORST NIGHTMARES. NOT ONLY WERE WE STRANDED AT THE GROCERY STORE, WE WERE LATE FOR SCHOOL. WE WAITED FOR AN HOUR FOR SOMEONE TO PICK US UP AND THEN HAD TO CALL A TOW TRUCK TO TAKE THE CAR TO OUR LOCAL DODGE DEALER. UNFORTUNATELY, OUR DEALER HAS NO LONER VEHICLES WE COULD HAVE USED.ON LAST THURSDAY AFTERNOON, I GOT A CALL FROM THE BROWN DODGE SERVICE WHO TOLD ME THE MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND I HAD TO GET TWO NEW KEYS AS IT ALL COMES TOGETHER AS ONE PACKAGE AND I WAS TOLD IT WOULD COST $700. . THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER AND I HAD TO PAY FOR YET ANOTHER TOW TRUCK. SAME SYMPTOM'S, THE CAR WOULD NOT START WHEN I TURNED THE IGNITION SWITCH. WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE BROWN DODGE DEALER THEY CLAIMED IT WAS A BAD BATTERY. SO I PAID TO HAVE IT REPLACED. THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN BUT LUCKILY THIS TIME THE CAR STARTED AFTER I HAD TO TRY TURN THE IGNITION SWITCH ON ABOUT FIFTEEN TIMES, AND I DROVE IT DIRECTLY TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN. ONCE THERE, I KEPT IT THERE FOR 4 DAYS SO THEY COULD SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. EVERY TIME THEY TURN THE IGNITION SWITCH, THE CAR STARTED FOR THEM. SO NOTHING WAS FIXED. WELL, THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING EVERY WEEK FOR THE PAST THREE MONTHS. THIS PAST WEEK I WAS STUCK WITH MY CHILDREN AT THE BANK FOR 30 MINUTES UNTIL THE CAR WOULD START. ATTEMPTED TO USED THE REMOTE TO UNLOCK THE DOORS BUT IT WOULD NOT WORK. CHANGED THE BATTERY STILL DID NOT WORK. HAD TO USE THE KEY TO UNLOCK THE DRIVER DOOR MANUALLY. ONCE IN THE DOOR LOCKS BUTTONS WOULD NOT UNLOCK THE OTHER DOORS. HAD TO OPEN FRONT PASSENGER DOOR MANUALLY FROM INSIDCHRE THE CAR. PULL UP THE DOOR LOCKS ON BOTH REAR DOORS IN ORDER FOR THE TO BE OPENED. ONCE THE CAR WAS ON WE NOTICED THE REAR WIPER BLADE DOES NOT WORK NOR DOES THE TRUNK OPEN. THERE IS NO MANUAL WAY TO OPEN THE TRUNK AT ALL. I'VE CHECKED THE MANUAL AND IT NEVER DESCRIBED THIS ISSUE. GOOGLED IT AND A LOT OF OTHERS HAS DESCRIBED THIS HAPPENING TO THEIR CAR BUT NO ONE CAN PIN POINT THE ISSUE. WE CHANGED THE FUSE THIS NOW ALLOWED THE DRIVER DOOR ONLY TO UNLOCK USING THE REMOTE, BUT WE STILL HAVE TO MANUALLY UNLOCK THE REAR DOORS TO OPEN THEM AND PULL THE HANDLE ON THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR TO OPEN IT, AS IT CAN'T BE OPENED AT ALL FROM THE OUTSIDE. CHANGING THE FUSE DID NOT HAVE AN AFFECT ON THE REAR WIPER OR THE TRUNK. I'VE NEVER SEEN A VEHICLE WHERE THE TRUNK HAS NO OTHER WAY TO BE OPENED. THIS MADE IT VERY HARD TO GET TO THE HANDLE FOR THE SPARE TIRE. RECEIVED CALL FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER A FACEBOOK COMPLAINT AND THEY ADVISED WE NEEDED TO BRING IT IN TO THE DEALER SO THEY CAN FIGURE IT OUT. WE ARE SKEPTICAL BECAUSE A FEW MONTHS PRIOR TO THAT WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER TO FIX A VERY BAD DRAG. WHEN YOU MAKE A LEFT HAND TURN THE CAR DRAGS AND GOES REALLY SLOW AND TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO GET BACK TO NORMAL SPEED. THE DEALER CHARGED US CLOSE TO $500 AND DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY FIXED SOMETHING THAT DID NOT NEED FIXING AND TOLD US IF WAS FIXED WE HAD TO TURN AROUND NOT EVEN A MINUTE AFTER PULLING OFF THE LOT WITH IT TO ADVISE THEM IT WAS NOT FIXED. THEY WANTED TO KEEP CHARGING US FOR DIFFERENT THINGS BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT IT WAS. WE DECLINED BECAUSE NO MONEY FOR GUESSES.

I BOUGHT MY AUTO IN APRIL 0F 2015 AND WEEKS LATER I STARTED HAVING STARTING ISSUES WERE IT WOULD JUST RANDOMLY NOT START AFTER HAVING THE STARTER AND BATTERY CHECKED OUT AND FOUND TO BE NO ISSUES. I SEARCHED THE INTERNET AND FOUND HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS ON THIS VECHILE WITH THE SAME EXACT ISSUE I CONTACTED DEALER AND TOLD ME THEY WOULD HAVE TO CHECK LOTS OF THIS OUT WOULD END UP COSTING ME THOUSANDS. ANOTHER ISSUE I HAVE WITH THE VECHILE IS IT LEAKS IN THE REAR HEADLINER AREA AFTER HAVING IT CHECKED BY A SHOP IT FOUND NO ISSUES VISIBLE READ ON INTERNET AGAIN AND FOUND MORE COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME AS WELL. THIS CAR IS A LEMON AND THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT FIX THESE ISSUES.

WE NEED THIS TO BE RECTIFIED AND A PART NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED. I NEED A RENTAL CAR UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED PAID BY CHRYSLER. MY VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY STARTS. I PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITIONS ALL THE LIGHTS AND RADIO AND ALL OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS COME ON CAR WILL JUST NOT START. TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST ALL TEST CAME BACK FINE AND DEALER WAS NOT ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. 2009 DODGE JOURNEY - HAD A COMPLETE BRAKE REPLACEMENT (ROTORS TURNED, PADS REPLACED) AT 25000 (FEBRUARY 2010) AND NOW AT 53000 WE HAVE BEEN TOLD ALL ROTORS NEED TO BE REPLACE, THE FRONT RIGHT ROTOR IS CRACKED, ALL BREAK PADS NEED TO BE REPLACED. CALLED CHRYSLER TONIGHT 12/27/2010 AT 7:05 PM AND THEY NO REPORTS OF PROBLEMS WITH THE DODGE JOURNEYS AND BRAKE/ROTOR PROBLEMS. THEY ADVISED US TO GET THE VEHICLE REPAIRED AT A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP AND HAVE THEM SEND IT IN TO CORPORATE. THEY MAY PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT - THEY HAVE NOT PAID FOR ANYONE'S REPLACEMENTS NOR HAVE THEY ISSUED A RECALL. THIS IS MY SECOND LEMON FROM CHRYSLER/DODGE THE FIRST WAS A CHRYSLER 300 WHEN THE FRONT END WOULD NOT STAY IN ALIGNMENT. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS CORPORATION. I PURCHASED MY 2009 DODGE JOURNEY IN JUNE 2009. THE BRAKES STARTED TO MAKE A GRUMBLING NOISE WHEN I STEPPED ON THE BRAKE. I HAD ONLY 11950 MILES ON THE CAR. IT WAS 3/2010. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT WAS THE BRAKES AND WANTED ME TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR. I TOLD THEM IT WAS STILL UNDER THE 12K WARRANTY, SO THEY DID IT FREE OF CHARGE. I TOOK IT HOME AND IT WAS STILL DOING THE SAME THING. I TOOK IT BACK THE NEXT DAY AND ASKED THEM TO PLEASE HAVE THE TECHNICIAN DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS WRONG. I WAS 3 MILES AWAY FROM THE 12K MILE WARRANTY EXPIRING. THIS TIME THEY REPLACED THE ROTORS. NOW IT IS 9/20/10, AND THE VEHICLE IS AT 21100K. IT STARTED TO MAKE THE SAME GRUMBLING NOISE AND WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER, THEY HAD TO REPLACE ALL 4 ROTORS. THREE DAYS LATER I HAD TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK BECAUSE WHEN I GO OVER 60 MPH IT STARTS TO VIBRATE AND FEELS LIKE I HAVE A FLAT TIRE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AD THEY ROTATED AND BALANCED THE TIRES. WHEN I GOT ON THE INTERSTATE, IT IS STILL DOING THE SAME THING. I EMAILED CHRYSLER 2 TIMES AND HAVE SPOKEN TO THEM TWICE. I NO LONGER TRUST THIS CAR.
