The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Journey. The contact sated while driving 15 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact made a left turn and the brakes seized. The contact stated that the ECS, engine check, and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed and determined that the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to several independent mechanics where it was determined that the brake hose was leaking, and an unknown hose had detached. The vehicle was repaired for the most recent failure. The remained at the residence and had not been driven since. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
I have been stranded in this vehicle to many times to count. Mostly I had to get a jump to get it back home or keep it running until I returned home. Within the last 30 days I have installed a new alternator and starter. Walmart has installed 4 new batteries due to it being under warranty. So as of today I can't start my car. All the interior lights come on and radio but won't turn over. I tried to get a jump 3 times but still nothing. I am disabled and can't get on public transportation or barely walk up stairs. I'm at zero income and awaiting approval from SSI. So I need someone to assist with this nightmare please. I honestly don't know what else to do
COMPONENT malfunction: ABS control module (module is part of the Electronic Stability Program and Traction Control System). Available for inspection: Upon Request. Safety risk: Random locking of front abs system at speeds of 20mph or less (GREAT concern for event happening at a greater speed ). Vehicle Manufacturer: admits known risk and problem w/ the Abs control module and traction control system and is researching problem-matic modules, but will they not issue a recall. part is not available . Warning lamps were after the first event (3-13-24): ESP and Traction control. videos are difficult to catch do to the random nature of the problem.
Brake system has ongoing and continuous defects, malfunctions and failure. I have had calipers fall off and pr stick causing the wheel to overheat and melt the tire rim. Replaced all that. Brakes never seem strong enough to properly stop this vehicle safely. Brake lights stay off and on light a Christmas tree. Had several inspections for code errors. Replace entire system in January of 2023. $1,800. Less than 500 miles later, another caliper sticks, then snaps causing entire break assembly to move, damaging yet another wheel rim. I love this vehicle. The room, style. But it's not safe. I've almost caused an accident on the road 3 times due to this useless brake system. This last incident put me in a ditch. It's still in the mechanics shoo. Severe wheel damage this time.

WE HAVE TAKEN IT INTO A MECHANIC AND THERE IS NO INFORMATION ON THE COMPUTER REGARDING WHAT HAPPENED. HE CANNOT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM.

SHORTLY AFTER BEGINNING TO DRIVE THE CAR, THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON, THE STEERING TIGHTENS UP AND THE BRAKES FREEZE UP. THIS HAPPENS ON COMPLETELY DRY ROADS. THIS HAPPENED 2 TIMES WITHIN 1 MILE OF EACH TIME. THE FIRST TIME I ALMOST WENT THROUGH AN INTERSECTION BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET STOPPED, AND THE SECOND TIME I ALMOST REAR ENDED A CAR. I HAD BOTH OF MY CHILDREN WHO ARE 7 AND 10 IN THE VEHICLE. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS ISSUE HAS HAPPENED. IT HAPPENED 6 MONTHS AGO, AND MY MECHANIC SAID THE CODE WAS A FAULTY TPM WHICH WAS REPLACED. IT THEN HAPPENED A MONTH AGO, AND THE MOST RECENT TIME WHICH WAS LAST WEEK. I'VE BEEN RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE AND IT SEEMS THAT THE DODGE JOURNEY HAS HAD THIS ISSUE, AMONG OTHERS. IT SEEMS AS IF THIS VEHICLE NEEDS A COMPLETE RECALL. SOMEBODY IS GOING TO END UP SERIOUSLY INJURED OR DEAD. I STILL OWE $10K ON MY VEHICLE AND CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY ANOTHER AND PAY THIS LOAN. I NEED TO GET RID OF THIS VEHICLE AND DODGE NEEDS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.

I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW IN 2010 AND DID NOT HAVE TO CHANGE THE BRAKES ON IT UNTIL 2014 - NOW, I HAVE TO CHANGE ALL 4 OF THE BRAKES RIGHT DOWN TO THE ROTORS EVERY YEAR (ALL 4 PADS AND ROTORS CHANGED 2014, 2015, 2016 AND NOW 2017, WITH CALIBERS CHANGED IN 2016 AS WELL)! THERE IS NEVER ANY SQUEAK FROM THE BRAKES OR OTHER NOISES OR FAILURE TO STOP UNTIL ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE BRAKES GRIND LOUDLY WHEN USED AND THE VEHICLE REQUIRES A GREAT DISTANCE TO STOP.

PETERSBURG, FL - BRAKING SYSTEM REPLACED - TODAY (APRIL 1, 2017 - EAS/BAS, BRAKE AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS ARE ALL BACK ON AGAIN - THIS IS THE 3RD TIME THAT THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD A BRAKE LIGHT ISSUE SINCE JUNE 2015. THE CAR SHUT OFF WHILE RUNNING THREE TIMES, ALMOST RESULTING IN HORRIBLE ACCIDENTS (THIS WAS DUE TO THE IGNITION ISSUE THAT *EVENTUALLY* RECALLED). THE ALARM WOULD GO OFF RANDOMLY AND OFTEN WITHOUT REASON. THE DEALER OF COURSE, WAS UNABLE TO REPLICATE THE ERROR. SO WE WERE LEFT WITH NO OTHER RECOURSE THAN THE REMOVE THE FUSE, WHICH IS TOTALLY UNSAFE BUT WAS THE ONLY OPTION WE HAD. NOW, WITHIN THE PAST 8 MONTHS OR SO, THE BATTERY HAS BEEN GOING DEAD AFTER BEING LEFT WITHOUT RUNNING FOR AT LEAST TWO DAYS. THE BATTERY HAS BEEN COMPLETELY REPLACED WITH A BRAND NEW BATTERY TWICE, AND A FULL DIAGNOSTIC SCAN WAS RAN ON DECEMBER 22ND WHEN THE LATEST NEW BATTERY WAS INSTALLED. THEY FOUND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG AS TO WHY THE BATTERY WAS DRAINING. NOW, TODAY, ITS DEAD AGAIN AFTER TWO DAYS BEING LEFT SITTING - ANOTHER FULL SET OF BRAKES WAS REPLACED A MONTH AGO - AND YET ANOTHER ROTOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, AS THERE IS NO SALVAGING THIS ONE. THIS CAR ONLY HAS 60K MILES ON IT. WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY ZERO CHANCE WITH THE VIRGINIA (WHERE WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE) 'LEMON LAW', AS ANY ISSUES NEED TO BE REPORTED WITHIN 18 MONTHS OF THE DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE. THIS VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE COMPLETELY RECALLED AND ALL THE ISSUES NEED TO BE FIXED BY DODGE. WE'RE UNDERWATER FOR SURE ON OUR LOAN AND AT BEST, WE'LL ONLY BE ABLE TO GET 3K FOR A TRADE IN. EVERY YEAR I REPLACE ROTORS, PADS CALIPERS, EVEN THE MASTER CYLANDER. RECENTLY AN ENTIRE TEAM OF MACHANICS WORKED SEVERAL HOURS ON THE CAR, ALL WERE FRUSTRATED THAT THEY COULD NOT CORRECT THE BRAKE PROBLEMS. SAID THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE IN THEIR EXPERIENCE. COST ME $1000.00! ANOTHER PROBLEM SHOWING UP IS THE CAR JUST SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING. THIS , AFTER THE KEY WAS RECALLED AND REPLACED. THIS HAS JUST HAPPENED TWICE.

VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 60K MILES ON ODOMETER, AND BRAKE SYSTEM AGAIN MUST BE REPAIRED PREMATURELY. I BELIEVE THIS IS THE REASON DODGE INCREASED THE ROTOR SIZE ON 2011 MODELS.

IN JUNE 2016 I TOOK MY CAR TO BETTEHAUSEN DODGE IN TINLEY PARK, IL. THEY DID SOME REPAIRS AND SINCE THEN THE HORN GOES OFF BY ITSELF. THE CAR CAN BE PARKED WITH THE MOTOR OFF OR YOU COULD BE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC AND THE HORN WILL BLOW. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO BETTENHAUSEN IN AUGUST 2016 THEY DID ANOTHER COMPUTER UPDATE AND THE HORN IS STILL GOING OFF BY ITSELF. THE HORN WAS FIND UNTIL I TOOK IT TO BETTENHAUSEN IN JUNE. ONCE THEY FINISHED WORKING ON IT THEY HORN BLOWS SPORADICALLY. AGAIN IN AUGUST 2016 I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO BETTENHAUSEN BECAUSE THE CAR BROKE DOWN. UPON BETTENHAUSEN REVIEWING MY CAR THEY STATED IT WAS THE HEATER HOSE, A GASKET AND THE ANTI FREEZE BOTTLE HAD A HOLE IN IT. IT COST ME $582.00 FOR THAT REPAIR. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ALSO INFORMED ME THAT I NEEDED FRONT AND REAR MOTOR MOUNTS BROKEN, FRONT AND REAR STRUTS BLOWN OUT, FRONT AND REAR BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS WARPED AND WORN, RIGHT REAR WHEELING BEARING EXCESSIVE NOISE. THESE ARE MAJOR REPAIRS AND WILL COST MAJOR MONEY. WHY DIDN'T BETTENHAUSEN INSPECT MY CAR THOROUGHLY IN JUNE WHEN IT WAS TOWED IN? I THINK THESE THINGS WERE WRONG WITH THE CAR IN JUNE BUT IT WAS INSPECTED BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. SO I DROVE AROUND FOR MONTHS WITH ALL THIS WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. WHAT IF I COULDN'T STOP, OR A WHEEL FELL OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE EXPRESSWAY? IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY IN JUNE AND NOW IT IS NOT AND THESE ARE MAJOR SAFETY HAZZARDS.

HAS ANYBODY FILED A LAWSUIT?HAS ANYBODY GOT HURT INJURED OR EVEN LOST THERE LIFE TO THESE BREAKS?

WE TOOK THE CAR TO DODGE SERVICE, WHICH CONFIRMED EXTREME ROTOR WEAR AND EVEN COMMENTED THAT IT WAS PREMATURE WEAR. I CONTACTED DODGE AND THEY REFUSED TO REPLACE ANY PARTS. IN ADDITION, WE RECENTLY (2016) ARE EXPERIENCING RANDOM HORN HONKING. THIS IS INDEED A SAFETY ISSUE AS PROPER HORN FUNCTION IS A REQUIREMENT FOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION.

INSTEAD WE HAVE TO TAKE THESE STEPS: INSERT KEYS INTO IGNITION, THEN SLIGHTLY TURN TO THE RIGHT (BUT NOT TURNING THE CAR ON) AS THE ELECTRIC SYSTEM TURNS ON, THEN SHIFT OUT OF "PARK" AND INTO "NEUTRAL," AND THEN WHILE IN "NEUTRAL" TURN THE CAR TO THE RIGHT UNTIL IT TURNS ON AND IS READY FOR DRIVING, THEN SHIFT INTO "DRIVE," ALL OF THIS WHILE MY FOOT IS ON THE "BRAKE." OUR ESP & BAS LIGHTS ARE ON EVERY MINUTE THE CAR IS ON, AND ABOVE THESE IS A LIT UP PICTURE OF A CAR W/ SQUIGGLY LINES BELOW IT. WE HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO AUTOZONE, O'REILLY'S AUTO PARTS, INTERSTATE ALL BATTERY CENTER, AND WAL-MART, AND HAD THE CAR HOOKED UP TO THEIR SYSTEM THAT READY CODES/ERRORS AND DETERMINES WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CAR. EVERY SINGLE PLACE COULD NOT GET A READING THAT INDICATED ANY REASON FOR THE LIGHTS BEING ON. IN FACT, ALL RESULTS KEPT COMING BACK AS, "NO ERRORS FOUND." WHEN WE CALLED TO EXPLAIN THIS TO THE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM DEALERSHIP, THEY COULD NOT TELL US ANY REASON AS TO WHY THESE LIGHT WOULD BE ON, AND ADVISED THAT IT WOULD COST $100 TO HOOK UP TO THEIR ERROR-READING SYSTEM. I DO NOT WANT TO DO THIS BECAUSE I HAVE ALREADY TRIED AT SEVERAL PLACES. THIS IS ANOTHER WAY FOR THE DEALERSHIP TO REEL ME IN AND TRY TO SCAM MONEY OUT OF ME AND THEN WHEN I DON'T HAVE THOUSANDS TO CONSTANTLY DROP ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP, THEY CHARGE ME THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE AND I LEAVE WITH MORE PROBLEMS THAN I CAME WITH. RECEIVED RECALL FOR BRAKES. I WAS CHARGED $50 BUT BRAKES WERE REPLACES FOR FREE, SO I WAS TOLD. THE ROTORS WERE REWORKED AT THAT TIME ALSO. CONTINUED PROBLEMS TO THIS DAY. BRAKES IN FRONT HAVE BEEN REPLACED 3 TIMES AND BACK BRAKES TWICE. EACH TIME I TOOK CAR BACK WITH COMPLAINTS I WAS TOLD I NEEDED AN ALIGNMENT. TOOK AUTO TO AN OUT OF STATE DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ROTOR WAS WARPED. I HAVE HEARD RUMORS TO THE EFFECT THAT THERE IS A DEFECT IN THE FRONT SUSPENSION. THE LOAD IS TOO HEAVY FOR BASE. DID CHRYSLER KNOW THIS AND STILL TRYING TO SELL A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT? I WOULD LIKE TO BE COMPENSATED.

LAST NIGHT THE BRAKING SYSTEM CAUGHT FIRE ON THIS VEHICLE, LUCKY I HAD JUST PULLED IN MY PARKING SPOT WHEN THEY STARTED BURNING AND DIDN'T HAVE MY CHILDREN WITH ME. FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS NOTIFIED AND THE FIRE WAS PUT OUT BY THEM. I HAVE NOTICED THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON WITH THE JOURNEY THAT HAS HAD BRAKE AND TIRE ISSUES. I WAS DRIVING AT THE SPEED LIMIT ON INTERSTATE 5, (CALIFORNIA) WHEN A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME SWERVED PARTIALLY INTO MY LANE. IN ORDER TO AVOID HITTING SAID VEHICLE, I SWERVED TO THE RIGHT SLIGHTLY, AT THAT TIME I BELIEVE ENGINE DIED, AS I HAD NO CONTROL OVER SAID VEHICLE I COULD NOT STEER OR MANEUVER MY VEHICLE AT ALL. THUS IT WAS CONTINUING ON THE PATH OF THE SWERVE AND HIT THE WALL ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. I AT NO TIME HAD ANY CONTROL OVER THE VEHICLE, THE CAR STARTED SPINNING FROM THE IMPACT OF THE WALL AND SENT ME ACROSS 3 LANES OF TRAFFIC AND I WAS HIT BY 2 CARS. THE ONLY AIRBAG THAT DEPLOYED WAS THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG. (THERE WAS NO PASSENGER IN THAT POSITION.) I WAS IN THE DRIVER SEAT, AND MY SON (WAS 9 YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT) WAS SITTING DIRECTLY BEHIND ME. WHEN THE CAR STOPPED, I WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION, IT WAS LOCKED IN PLACE. ORIGINALLY, I BELIEVED THAT THERE WERE NO MAJOR INJURIES, ONLY BUMPS, BRUISES AND THE LIKE. AND FOR THAT REASON WE WERE TOLD TO FILE A COMPLAINT. I CALLED DODGE & WAS TOLD THE WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED & WE WOULD HAD TO PAY FOR IT ON OUR OWN. WE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WE WERE ADVISED THAT THE FRONT PADS AND ROTORS WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED AND DODGE WOULD COVER THE COST. THIS WAS AROUND FEB/MAR 2012 WITH APPROXIMATELY 17K ON THE VEHICLE. ON 4 AUG WE TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO DODGE DUE TO THE SAME BRAKING PROBLEMS AND A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. WE WERE ADVISED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS CAUSED BY A CRACK PISTON HEAD AND DODGE STATED THAT THE PISTON WOULD BE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. HOWEVER, WE WERE THEN ADVISED THAT THE JERKING AND PULLING IN THE STEERING WAS CAUSED BY THE REAR BRAKES AND WE WOULD HAVE TO PAID $534.00 TO HAVE THE REAR ROTORS AND PADS REPLACED. THIS DIDN'T SOUND RIGHT TO ME SO I CHECKED FOR ANY TSB/RECALLS, THE CAS WEBSITE, AND NHTSA WEBSITE I FOUND OUT THAT THE BRAKE PROBLEMS (BOTH FRONT AND REAR) HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS ISSUE WITH DODGE AND REPAIRS AND COSTS HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE BOARD WITH DODGE EXCEPTING NO REAL FIX EXCEPT CHARGING CAR OWNERS ON REPEATED REPAIRS THAT ONLY FIX THE PROBLEM FOR 3-9K. IF THIS IS THE CASE NHTSA SHOULD MANDATE DODGE TO PROPERLY FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH CORRECT PARTS OR FULLY RECALL ALL OF THESE VEHICLES. THE DEALER CONFIRMED THAT THE FRONT BRAKES AND BOTH ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER ALSO CONFIRMED THAT THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SENSOR, AS WELL AS THE PASSENGER SIDE HUB AND BEARINGS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. IN ADDITION, THE REAR BRAKES AND REAR CALIPERS WOULD NEED REPLACING. I CALLED NORMANDIN AGAIN, THEY TOWED MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND AFTER 3 WEEKS OF HAVING IT AND "DRIVING THE VEHICLE HARD", THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO REPLICATE THE INCIDENT THAT OCCURED TO ME, THEREFORE, UNABLE TO PINPOINT THE CAUSE. THEY ADVISED ME THAT THE BACK ROTORS NEED TO BE REPLACED AS THEY ARE SHAKING BUT THAT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ONLY COVERS THE FRONT. I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE REARAFTER 3 WEEKS, I HAVE MY HUSBAND DRIVE THE CAR HOME FROM THE DEALER (THE WARRANTY ONLY COVERS TOW'S TO THE DEALERSHIP, NOT FROM THE DEALERSHIP). THE CAR SAT IN THE PARKING GARAGE SINCE THAT DAY AND IT IS NOW JUNE, 2012 AND I REFUSE TO DRIVE IT ANY MORE. *JS

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: PURCHASED NEW 2/26/11 - ON 5/25/12 THE VEHICLE HAD 11764 ACTUAL MILES. HEARD SQUEALING NOISE WHEN APPLYING BRAKES - TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND REAR ROTORS WARPED AND REAR PADS NOISY. DEALERSHIP REPLACED REAR ROTORS AND PADS. PICKED UP VEHICLE AFTERNOON OF 5/25/12. DROVE VEHICLE HOME AND HAVE ONLY DRIVEN VEHICLE YESTERDAY 5/29/12 AND TODAY 5/30/12 TO WORK AND, AGAIN, THE SQUEALING HAS OCCURRED ON MY WAY HOME (5/30/12). CALLED THE SERVICE MANAGER IMMEDIATELY AND REPORTED. AM TAKING INTO DEALERSHIP FIRST THING IN MORNING AGAIN (5/31/12). I HAD MAJOR PULSATING / VIBRATING WHEN BRAKING ON MY 2010 DODGE JOURNEY AFTER ONLY 16K. I DISCOVERED THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM, THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS AND EVEN A FEW CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS ALLEGING THE BRAKE WERE UNDER ENGINEERED / UNDER SIZED FOR THIS CAR, AT LEAST ON THE 2009 & 2010 MODELS. I WAS PLEASED TO LEARN THAT CHRYSLER EXTENDED THE WARRANTY (ACKNOWLEDGING THE PROBLEM) ON THE BRAKES FOR THESE VEHICLES, BUT WAS NOT PLEASED TO FIND OUT THAT 1) THEY WANT YOU TO PAY A $50 OR $100 "DEDUCTIBLE" TO FIX THE PROBLEM (THAT THEY ACKNOWLEDGED BY EXTENDING THE WARRANTY) 2) THE WARRANTY IS ONLY EXTENDED TO 36K MILES AND 3) THAT THE WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO THE FRONT BRAKES AND MY REAR BRAKES WERE ALSO WARPED, WHICH I ARGUE IS THE RESULT OF THE FRONT BRAKES BEING UNDERSIZED IN THE FIRST PLACE...HOW ELSE DO YOU EXPLAIN WARPED FRONT AND REAR ROTORS ON A VEHICLE ONLY 1 YR OLD AND ONLY 16K MILES? I PAID THE $50 DEDUCTIBLE FOR THE FRONT BRAKES, PLUS $199 + TAX (REAR BRAKES) TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD, AND PROMPTLY CALLED CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICE TO PITCH A FIT AND LET THEM KNOW WHAT I THOUGH ABOUT HAVING TO PAY ONE CENT OUT OF MY POCKET FOR A PROBLEM THAT IS WELL DOCUMENTED AND THEY ACKNOWLEDGED (BY EXTENDING THE WARRANTY). I EVENTUALLY RECEIVED A FULL REIMBURSEMENT FROM CHRYSLER FOR THE FULL AMOUNT I PAID, INCLUDING THEIR $50 "DEDUCTIBLE". I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS RESOLUTION, BUT STILL DISAPPOINTED THAT I HAD TO EVEN PAY OUT OF POCKET AND INITIATE THE COMPLAINT IN THE FIRST PLACE TO GET REIMBURSED, WHEN THEY ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE ISSUE. FAST FORWARD LESS THAN 1 YEAR LATER AND ABOUT 14K MILES LATER EXACT SAME PROBLEM. UNACCEPTABLE. I NOW HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN, AND I AM NOT HAPPY. CHRYSLER SHOULD ISSUE A RECALL AND REPLACE THE BRAKES ON THESE VEHICLES! THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. ENOUGH WITH THE HALF @$$ ATTEMPT OF "EXTENDING WARRANTIES" AND "DEDUCTIBLES". *TR

NTHSA, GOOD MORNING, I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING CONCERNS REGARDING THE BRAKING SYSTEM ON MY 2010 DODGE JOURNEY. WHEN DRIVING AT SPEEDS OVER 55 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY AND HAVING TO APPLY THE BRAKES THE STEERING WHEEL BEGIN TO SHAKE BACK AND FORTH AND THIS IS SOMEWHAT ALARMING TO BOTH ME AND MY WIFE. I HAVE HAD MANY VEHICLES IN THE PAST AND I HAVE NOT EVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE. IS THERE A RECALL ON THE BRAKING SYSTEM OR SHOULD WE BE ALARMED AND MORE IMPORTANTLY WHAT SHOULD BE DONE?
