My reverse lights, rear wiper and plate light have all Stopped working due to severed wires in the liftgate wiring harness at the hinge area. This is a faulty design by Dodge, a safety concern and an issue that is widespread and reported on the internet.

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but was unofficially diagnosed with a wiring harness failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was made aware of the failure and suggested that the vehicle be taken to the dealer for a diagnostic test. Additionally, the contact was advised of the diagnostic testing fee. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by the independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 79,000.

my rear back up camera going bad again I had it replace a few yrs ago and it is doing the same thing again, picture is upside down at times or the image is doing a horizontal rolling making it unusable or going blank and also is distracting when trying to back up and the image catches your eyes while backing up
The ABS module has failed. There was a recall R61 issued previously for this issue of moisture causing ABS module failures. The original recall was completed on this vehicle [XXX]. There is no documentation that the ABS module itself was replaced at that time since this is a tiered recall. The ABS module has now failed and there is evidence on the electrical plug that moisture was present during a recent inspection by an ASE certified mechanic. I took the car to Academy CJD dealership in Tipton, Indiana and they refused to perform the recall again since it supposedly had already been completed. They wanted to charge me a fee to 'diagnose' further. I contend that even though the recall or partial recall was previously completed, the ABS has failed due to the issue the original recall was supposed to prevent. I have a picture of the ABS electrical connector showing evidence of shorting due to moisture. Please let me know if Dodge should be required to complete the recall again, since the ABS failed again. When trying to start the car in the past every now in then I would get a one click and no start I tried to shift into neutral and nothing the same , I played with the button by turning g off and back on a few time and it would start and it started to get harder to get it to start and now it will only click and no start , I replaced the battery and starter was checked out and is good all battery ends are new and new battery cables , I know Google is no auto mechanic but the post I have read there is a lot of dodge journeys that has this issue when I called dodge I was told to bring it in and I will be charged , also about every 4th time I hit the door locks from the door as soon as the door shuts the horn beeps 3 times and all the doors unlock , need help please from what I am understanding it's something to do with the anti theft or the neutral safety switch inside the transmission ,
Under heavy braking conditions the vehicles ABS system did not engage and the vehicle slid losing control. There was a safety recall R61 which was documented as completed 20 May 2016, but inspection of the ABS ground wire shows it in its original position when compared to page 18 of the recall instruction. There has been no work on the ABS module since the recall.
Suddenly brown smoke came out when I started a car and tried to roll down the window. My husband pulled out the controller which seems to be the cause of the smoke from the wire.
Vehicle just won’t start sometimes. Changed battery , alternator, starter, ETC system. And nothing has helped. No rhyme or reason some days it starts perfectly fine multiple times .. other days I’ll go out and it just won’t start. I can go to my destination turn it off and it won’t turn back on.

THE HEADREST DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON. IT HURT MY NECK REALLY BAD. LUCKILY I WAS AT A RED LIGHT OR IM MIGHT HAVE CRASHED

Tipm caused several issues, blown motor, and now is in the dealership shop for an alternator, battery, ground strap and other wiring issues. I haven’t had my car for over a year due to this.
The contact’s son owns a 2014 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled. The contact then stated that on numerous occasions after the vehicle stalled, the vehicle needed to be jumpstarted each time after turning off the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that he was unable to turn off the headlamps and the key fob failed to operate as needed. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that water prevented the fuel from entering the fuel pump and the fuel injector and an unknown engine component needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that all the recalls were previously performed, and no further assistance was provided. Due to opening and closing the rear hatch, the wiring harness wires running from the car through the hatch break and fray causing many issues. One being the potential for exposed wires to spark and cause a fire. Others being faulty rear windshield wiper and faulty rear lighting. Brake lights, turn signals, running lights and rear interior lights causing a road hazard.
My car is showing signs of electrical malfunctioning. My Journey stopped at a traffic light and would not turn back on. It was like the battery had died. When I gave it a jump, the lights would come on but not start. Once the cables were taken off the car would die again. Randomly after letting it rest, the car started and I took it to the shop to get the alternator checked. They kept it for about two days and I was told that the alternator was good. The car also never cut off while they had it. A few days later, While driving the car kept glitching on and off. The screen in the car (radio) would go completely blank. When it came back on it was reset to a default time and radio station. A few days later The Journey would drive fine but only for a short distance. Today my car stopped once again at a stop light. After trying to give it a jump the lights would come on (as long as it was hooked up to another car) but once the cables were off the car would be completely dead. I will be taking it to dodge soon to get a diagnostic test ran. Is there any suggestions or information I should know about before taking it to get tested?

I PURCHASED THIS CAR IN 2020 THROUGH JD BYRIDER OF JANESVILLE WI, I AM MAKING PAYMENTS CURRENTLY. IN FEBRUARY OF 2022 MY BATTERY LIGHT KEPT COMING ON AND THE RADIO WOULDN'T WORK. I CALLED MY DEALERSHIP AND DUE TO HAVING A 30,000 MILE WARRANTY I TOOK IT IN, AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS MY BATTERY SO AS FAR AS I WAS TOLD THEY REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE. IT WAS FINE WITH NO ISSUES UP UNTIL A MONTH AGO, MY BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON, I NOTICE THE WIPERS AND THE WINDOWS WORK REALLY SLOW DURING THIS TIME. ONCE I DRIVE FOR A LITTLE BIT IT EVENTUALLY GOES OFF. TODAY WHEN I WENT TO HEAD TO WORK IT WILL NOT READ MY KEY FOB. I HAD TO TOUCH THE TOP OF MY FOB AT THE OPPOSITE END OF THE UNLOCK AND LOCK BUTTONS TO THE START BUTTON TO START MY CAR. I LEFT MY CAR RUNNING AT THE GAS STATION AND IT DID DETECT THE KEY HAD LEFT THE VEHICLE BUT WHEN I GOT BACK INTO THE VEHICLE THE BEEPING DID NOT GO OFF LIKE USUAL WHEN THE KEY IS BACK INSIDE THE VEHICLE. While I was driving the car suddenly lost power steering and acceleration, the bolts broke off from the pulley and the serpentine belt came off while driving down a busy street
The brake and steering failed while I was attempting to slow down to turn right. The car failed to stop and the car failed to turn so I jumped a curb and caused extensive damage to bottom of car.
I had the Cruise Control recall done on my vehicle in 2018, but it never really fixed the issue. I wasn't aware there was only a 2 year warranty on the work done, and that would have put it in 202 when everything was pretty much closed down. I contacted Dodge and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I know another recall was R61 / NHTSA 15V-675 ABS Ground Wiring issue which got "fixed." Now, I am having an ABS, Skid Control, Brake light issue. I took my car to the shop and they are charging me $180 just to find out the issue. I received a call from the mechanic and he proceeded to tell me the parts needed are on backorder and may be available in March 2022, which will cost close to $2k to repair. I was also advised by the mechanic this is a common issue across Dodge, Crystler Jeep. If that is the case, which it seems to be since I have been looking online and there have been a lot of complaints, why is this not a recall? Why, if dodge messed up when producing vehicles between certain years, do the consumers have to pay to get this fixed? I don't think it is right and I think if Dodge isn't going to take responsibility and issue a recall on this then there needs to be a Class Action Suit against Dodge. I intend to start doing some legal research to find out what the process is to do this. I can't believe a dealership can charge someone $180 to run a diagnostics on the vehicle when they know what the issue is, since it is common, plus being able to charge almost $2k to repair. The issue is with the ABS pump and module, and this has to be done at the dealership since it is electrical and needs to be hooked up to the computer to calibrate or what ever.
Unknown car just stopped working and turned off
fire risk of wiring breaking at upper right corner at liftgate (rear hatch door) wiring is breaking within rubber boot. this cause a fire risk. Other issues is rear lights failure. This hazard has high risk of Rear end collisions. This wire breakage has very dangerous outcome but easy to recall and save lives. I will be fix my wife car before this car gets my family killed. Front driver side door wiring caught on fire while driving, which now none of the windows work.

DESPITE A BRAND NEW BATTERY AND GOOD ALTERNATOR, THE BATTERY KEEPS DRAINING OVER NIGHT OR DURING THE DAY, LEAVING ME STRANDED AT LEAST 10 TIMES SINCE FEBRUARY 2020. ISSUE HAS OCCURRED IN MULTIPLE SETTINGS, INCLUDING AT WORK IN A PARKING GARAGE, IN RETAIL PARKING LOTS, AND AT HOME IN MY DRIVEWAY. I REPLACED THE BATTERY AS WELL AS A FAULTY CONNECTOR, AS WELL AS HAD THE ALTERNATOR ASSESSED BY MY MECHANIC. YET SOMETHING IS DRAINING MY BRAND NEW BATTERY NO MATTER HOW FREQUENTLY THE CAR IS DRIVEN. IT HAS ONLY 70,000ISH MILES ON IT AND HAS BEEN MAINTAINED REGULARLY. SINCE THIS IS A PUSH BUTTON IGNITION WHICH CONTROLS OTHER VEHICLE SYSTEMS AS WELL, IF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DOESN'T RECOGNIZE THE FOB OR IT'S PROXIMITY, THEN DOOR LOCKS ALSO AREN'T RECOGNIZED OR FUNCTIONAL. DURING ONE CALL TO/VISIT FROM AAA, THE CAR STARTED WHEN JUMP STARTED. THE AAA REP OPTED TO LET IT RUN ON THE CHARGER FOR A FEW MINUTES. THE CAR DIED WHILE CONNECTED TO THE CHARGER. THIS WAS AFTER A BRAND NEW BATTERY WAS INSTALLED.

PAST 2-3 YEARS WHENEVER IT RAINS ABS AND ESC LIGHT COME ON AND BRAKES FAIL TO WORK PROPERLY. ONCE QUITS RAINING, AFTER NO MORE THAN 24-48 HOURS LIGHTS GO OFF AND EVERYTHING FUNCTIONS FINE UNTIL RAINS AGAIN. RECENTLY THERE WAS NO RAIN FROM JANUARY TO MID JUNE AND I TRAVELED FROM FLORIDA TO OHIO AND BACK WITH NO PROBLEM. THEN IT RAINED, ABS AND ESC BACK ON. VEHICLE WAS RECALLED DODGE #R61 FOR THIS EXACT ISSUE AND THE DEALER STATED PERFORMED RECALL. THAT DID NOT CORRECT PROBLEM. I CONTACTED DODGE AND WAS GIVEN A CASE NUMBER. I TOOK TO DEALER AFTER IT HAD RAINED AND THEY CONFIRMED ABS AND ESC LIGHT WERE ON AND PULLED CODE WHEN I DROPPED OFF STATING ABS MODULE FAILURE WHICH IS THE PART THAT FAILS IN R61 WHEN IT RAINS. THE NEXT DAY IT DID NOT RAIN AND DEALER STATES ABS AND ESC LIGHT OFF AND THERE WERE NO CODES INDICATING NO PROBLEM. THEY SAY THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO REPAIR AND STATE DODGE TOLD THEM IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. I POINTED OUT NO EXPIRATION ON RECALL AND THEY HAVE STATED THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET PAID FOR REPAIRS IF COULD FIND PROBLEM. NOTE: THE R61 STATES IT DOES NOT APPLY TO RIGHT HAND DRIVE FIAT FREEMONT BECAUSE THE WATER INTRUSION TO ABS GROUND WIRE OCCURS WHEN RAIN RUNS OFF PASSENGER WINDSHIELD AND SOAKS GROUND WIRE AND THE RIGHT HAND DRIVE VEHICLES HAVE GROUND WIRE THAT IS CULPRIT ON DRIVERS SIDE AND WATER FROM RAIN DOES NOT AFFECT THOSE WIRES. IN 2016 THEY ANNOUNCED THEY WERE RECALLING 152,000 RIGHT HAND DRIVE DODGE JOURNEYS (FIAT FREEMONT) WITHOUT EXPLANATION HOWEVER THIS APPEARS TO BE CLEAR PROOF THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW OR WHERE WATER IS ENTERING ABS WIRING SYSTEM. *TR

I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE POWER CORD GOING FROM THE DOOR TO THE BODY OF THE CAR KEEPS DISCONNECTING THE BOX FROM THE BODY OF THE CAR. ON THE DASH THE FOLLOWING APPEARED AND FLASHED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE TURNING OFF: A RED LIGHTNING BOLT AND AIRBAG. THE TRANSMISSION LIGHT ALSO FLASHED IN YELLOW HOWEVER IT DID STAY ON. I TRIED AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES. IT KEPT GIVING ME THE MESSAGE TO SERVICE PARK ASSIST. . I READ SOME FORUMS ONLINE AS MORE PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS ISSUE WITH THEIR DODGE JOURNEY?S (RANGING FROM 2009-2016 MODELS) TWO GENTLEMEN STATED IF YOU PLACE THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND THEN START THE VEHICLE IT WOULD CRANK UP HOWEVER MY CAR DID NOT. THE BRAKE PEDAL SEEMS STUCK AND EXTREMELY HARD TO PRESS DOWN AS WELL BUT THAT?S USUALLY LIKE THAT FOR ME ON ANY GIVEN DAY TO START MY CAR. DOESN'T HAVE ANY WORDS WITH IT ANYMORE. ALSO WHEN GOING THRU THE MENU EVERYTHING IS BLANK EXCEPT THERE IS A 1 WHERE THERE IS A MESSAGE FOR THE PARK ASSIST SERVICE. WORST PART IS I DROVE THE CAR THE DAY BEFORE WITH NO PROBLEMS. IF I TRY TO USE THE REMOTE START IT STILL DOESN'T WORK AND THEN THE TAIL LIGHTS FLASH FAST AND ALMOST LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO SHORT OUT.

AS I WAS DRIVING MY CAR ON THE CITY STREET I LOST ACCELERATION POWER, THE TRACTION LIGHT AND THE RED LIGHTNING BOLT CAME ON. MY CAR SPEED DECREASED AND WILL NOT ACCELERATE TO OVER 12 MILES AN HOUR. I WAS ON A CITY STREET WITH A SPEED LIMIT OF 40 MILES AN HOUR WHEN THE POWER DECREASES AND ANOTHER VEHICLE ALMOST RAN INTO MY TRUCK AS I WAS TRYING TO MAKE IT THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. MY CAR HAS CODED THE SAYING THAT MY THROTTLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE THROTTLE WAS REPLACED AND THE CAR TRACTION LIGHT AND THE LIGHTNING BOLT STILL APPEARED ON THE DASH. THE CAR WILL NOT INCREASE TO OVER 12 MILES AN HOUR. MY CAR IS AT THE SHOP AND THE MECHANIC HAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES SHOULD BE ON RECALL BECAUSE THERE HAS BEEN AT LEAST 6 DODGE'S THAT HE HAS REPAIRED WITH THE SAME ISSUE.
WHILE CLEANING MY VEHICLE IN MY DRIVE WAY I NOTICED A COMPARTMENT UNDER MY STEERING WHEEL SHOWING. I THEN TOOK IT TOO A DODGE DEALERSHIP FOR A RECALL THAT I RECEIVED IN THE MAIL AND I ALSO ASKED ABOUT THE CLOTH LIKE MATERIAL SHOWING UNDER MY STEERING WHEEL. THE YOUNG MAN NOTIFIED ME THAT IT WAS THE AIRBAG COMING OUT FROM UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL AS WELL AS A SENSOR/ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. I AM A NEW MOM TO BE AND HAVING A NEWBORN IN THIS VEHICLE IS UNEXCEPTIONABLE. THIS VEHICLE IS ONLY A FEW YEARS OLD WITH SO MANY RECALLS. IM SO DISAPPOINTED
PROBLEM STARTED WITH 2014 DIDGE JOURNEY SXT GOING INTO LIMP MODE. CODE THAT APPEARED WERE THROTTLE BODY SENSOR, CHANGED THAT. IT WENT INTO LIMP MODE IMMEDIATELY AFTER AND CODE WAS THROTTLE BODY, CHANGED THAT. IT WENT INTO LIMP MODE IMMEDIATELY AGAIN. SAME CODES. SENT TO SHOP THEY SAID IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION, $220 FOR AN OVERHAUL OF THAT. 2 TO 3 WEEKS AFTER, LIMP MODE AGAIN. SAME CODES. BROUGHT IT TO DODGE DEALERSHIP AND THE DIAGNOSIS IT SAYING I NEED A NEW PCM AND WIRE HARNESS. THOSE ITEMS WERE REPLACED. 2 TO 3 WEEKS AFTER THAT WORK. CAR GOES INTO LIMP MODE AGAIN WHILE ON THE HWY. CAR IS CURRENTLY AT DODGE DEALERSHIP AGAIN, NOW THEY'RE SAYING IT'S THE STARTER CAUSING THE PROBLEM. IN ADDITION, THE ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE SAME DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS WAS CORRODED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT A RECALL REPAIR WAS PERFORMED IN 2018 PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V675000 (ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT A PORTION OF THE WIRING HARNESS MAY BE REPAIRED FREE OF CHARGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000.

I WENT TO CHURCH AND STOPPED AT FOOD CITY AFTERWARDS. I STARTED THE VEHICLE AND PUT IT IN REVERSE AND I CAN SMELL SOMETHING WEIRD AND IT WAS LIKE THE BRAKE WAS STUCK AND IT WAS HOLDING BACK. I PROCEEDED BECAUSE I WAS IN TRAFFIC AND NEEDED TO MOVE. ACCELERATION WAS LIMITED BUT I MADE IT HOME WHICH WAS LESS THAN A MILE. WHEN STOPPED THERE WAS SMOKE ROLLING OUT FROM UNDER THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AREA AND THERE WAS FLUIDS RUNNING ALL OVER THE GROUND. THIS WAS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION BECAUSE I HAD MY CHILDREN IN THE CAR. THERE IS A SCRUBBING AND PECKING NOISE BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE IT'S COMING FROM THE REAR END. I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THIS VEHICLE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON BUT IT'S BEEN ON. I'VE HAD IT CHECKED AND SHOWS NOTHING WRONG AND HAD IT TURNED OFF AND IT CONTINUES TO COME ON. ALTERNATOR HAS BEEN REPLACED AS WELL AS NEW BATTERY. IT SEEMS TO HAVE ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THE DOORS LOCKING AND UNLOCKING. SO DANGEROUS! AFFECTS STEERING AND CONTROL OF VEHICLE AND COULD CAUSE A FIRE AND NOT BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE. AFTER SEEING ALL OF THE REVIEWS AND PROBLEMS WITH THESE VEHICLES THEY ALL NEED TO BE RECALLED BECAUSE NONE OF THEM ARE SAFE BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THE DEALERSHIPS DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO FIX THEM. IF THEY ATTEMPT ONE ISSUE THERE ARE EVEN MORE ISSUES THAT OCCUR. THE REPAIRS ARE COSTLY AND THIS IS HAPPENING WAY TOO OFTEN WITH TOO MANY JOURNEYS. THEN WE ARE STUCK WITH A LEMON TO PAY FOR AND NO VEHICLE BECAUSE OF THESE COSTLY REPAIRS ALONG WITH THE DANGERS IMPOSED. PLEASE RECALL THESE DANGEROUS AND REPAIR COSTLY VEHICLES! THE FIRST TIME I WAS GOING 55MPH, THE 2ND 25MPH SO NOT SURE THE SPEED HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. BROUGHT IT BACK TO DEALER & THEY DID AN ENGINE CONTROL MODULE UPDATE. THIS WAS ONE WEEK AGO AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY. I WAS AGAIN IN A FORWARD MOTION, ACTUALLY JUST STARTED ACCELERATING FROM A RED LIGHT, SO WAS PROBABLY NOT GOING MORE THAN 35-40MPH WHEN IT HAPPENED. I FELT LIKE THIS IS AN ISSUE YOUR ORGANIZATION NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT ON MANY LEVELS BUT THE LARGEST ONE FOR ME IS AS A FULL-TIME MOM. I HAVE HAD MY SON IN THE CAR WITH ME ON ALMOST EVERY ONE OF THESE OCCASIONS AND TO SAY IT'S TERRIFYING WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT. I DISCONNECTED THE LIGHT AND TOSSED IT OUT IN THE LAWN. DODGE SENT AN INSPECTOR TO LOOK AT THE EVENT AND I RECEIVED A LETTER STATING THAT ANY DONE LIGHT WILL BECOME HOT IF LEFT ON. I ASKED THEM IF THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SMOKE, MELT AND ALMOST DRIP ON A 3 YEAR OLD CHILD'S HEAD. EVEN THE HARNESS MELTED. THEY DON'T THINK THIS IS A BIG DEAL BUT I BELIEVE (AND OTHER PEOPLE HAVE LOOKED AT IT ) BELIEVE IT IS. VERY DANGEROUS! I'VE LEFT A DOME LIGHT ON IN MANY CARS OVER THE YEARS AND NONE STARTED MELTING. I RESEARCHED ONLINE AND WAS ALARMED TO FIND OUT THAT THIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE SOMEWHAT COMMON AND THERE WAS A RECALL BACK IN 2011 FOR 2010 DODGE JOURNEY MODELS THAT WERE STALLING OUT. I HAVE NOT SEEN EVIDENCE OF A RECALL FOR LATER MODELS. I AM CONCERNED THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN ON THE OPEN ROAD LIKE A HIGHWAY WHERE THE VEHICLE IS GOING AT HIGH RATES OF SPEED AND STALLS OUT CAUSING MY WIFE TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE NON-CHRYSLER DEALER BLAMED CHRYSLER AND CHRYSLER BLAMED THE NON-CHRYSLER DEALER. CHRYSLER ROADSIDE PICKED UP THE CAR SATURDAY MORNING AND TOOK IT TO A NJ CHRYSLER DEALER FOR REPAIR. MY FAMILY AND I HAD TO RETURN TO GA ON SUNDAY NIGHT. NO ONE PROVIDED US WITH A RENTAL CAR TO RETURN HOME. WE HAD TO SECURE/PAY FOR A RENTAL VEHICLE ON OUR OWN. ON WEDNESDAY (4 DAYS LATER) CASE MANAGER CONTACTED ME TO SUBMIT MY RECEIPTS FOR RENTAL CAR REIMBURSEMENT, THEY HAVE A RENTAL CAR FOR ME IN NJ AND NOT GA, AND TRYING TO EXPEDITE BACKORDER PART. I TOLD THE CASE MANAGER THAT I DON'T NEED THE RENTAL IN NJ, I NEED IT IN GA. HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HER SINCE. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE LACK OF QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM THE EVERYONE INVOLVED. I WAS SLOWING DOWN AND TURNING RIGHT INTO MY DRIVEWAY WHEN THE ENGINE STALLED. I WAS GOING 8 MPH WHEN I NOTICED I HAD NO POWER STEERING AND THE RPMS WERE AT 0. MY ENGINE STALLED FOR NO REASON. I HAVE PUSH BUTTON START/IGNITION, SO THIS IS NOT A CASE OF A HEAVY KEYCHAIN MOVING THE IGNITION INTO AUXILIARY OR OFF MODE.. THIS IS MY WIFE'S CAR AND SHE DRIVES MY SON AND DAUGHTER EVERYWHERE. I AM VERY WORRIED THIS COULD HAPPEN IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION OR AT HIGHER SPEED! I'M NOT A MECHANIC, BUT I HAVE NOTICED WITH THE V6/AUTO 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION, THIS CAR HAS VERY STRANGE SHIFTING PROGRAMS / "CURVES". IT SEEMS TO SHIFT EARLY AND SOMETIMES WHEN SLOWING DOWN, IT'S LIKE THE TRANSMISSION DOESN'T DOWNSHIFT QUICKLY ENOUGH. THAT MAY BE THE CAUSE FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH. WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE THE MAIN SCREEN RADIO/AIR CONTROL AS WELL AS DASH BOARD WILL GO BLACK, IT IS ALMOST LIKE THE VEHICLE WILL CUT OFF GOING DOWN THE ROAD AND AFTER A FEW SECONDS EVERYTHING WILL WORK AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WILL FAIL TO START INITIALLY. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS THE VEHICLE WILL START AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL APPEAR. ALSO SOMETIMES WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE WILL CUT OUT AND THE DASH WILL GO BLANK AND HAVE ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED, I.E. ABS, AIRBAGS, ESC, TPMS, ENGINE MIL, AND SERVICE AWD.
