THE RESULT OF THIS PHONE CALL WAS 3 LOCAL DEALERSHIPS PUT THE CHRYSLER CALLER ON HOLD AND THEN HUNG UP ON HER. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR A VERY LONG TIME TO GET MY TRUCK IN FOR THIS RECALL. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT CHRYSLER AND THEIR DEALERS ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT THIS SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN.

IN NOVEMBER WE CONTACTED THEM, REGARDING A DIFFERENT RECALL (TIE ROD) ONCE AGAIN HAD TO WAIT BUT THEY DID THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG. MARCH 2017 THEY DID THE AIR BAG.....2 DAYS LATER THE AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON, HORN AND CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT WORK AND THEY REFUSE TO REPAIR IT; STATING THAT IT IS THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH. SO WE CURRENTLY HAVE NO DRIVERS SIDE AIRBAG. IN OUR ATTEMPTS TO HAVE THEM FIX IT THEY REFUSED AND WERE NASTY ABOUT IT. WE ATTEMPTED TO REACH A LOCAL DODGE REPRESENTATIVE AND NO ONE KNOWS WHO THAT MAY BE.

AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE, DISHMAN DODGE OF SPOKANE, WASHINGTON DID NOT INFORM US OF THE DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS IN THIS TRUCK. IN 2014, NTSA ASKED 10 CAR COMPANIES TO RECALL 7.8 MILLION VEHICLES BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM BUT ONLY IN 7 SOUTHERN STATES, PUERTO RICO AND THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS. TRUE, THE AIR BAG PROPELLANT BECOMES MORE UNSTABLE OVER TIME AND WITH HOT OR HUMID TEMPERATURES ,BUT THAT IS ONLY A FACTOR WHEN THE AIR BAG DEPLOYS SPONTANEOUSLY OR WHEN THE VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A MINOR FENDER BENDER AND THE BAG SHOULD NOT BE DEPLOYING IN THE FIRST PLACE.
