TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS - NOT SAFE WHEN PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC! 1995 DODGE RAM PICKUP. *AK THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE OIL PUMP AS WELL. *SC
THE EZRA VALVE . INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET WAS REPLACED. IN AUGUST 2002 THE INTAKE MANIFOLD FAILED AGAIN. INTAKE MANIFOLD WAS REPLACED THREE TIMES. *AK THE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET WAS LEAKING WATER OUT THE BACK AND THE LEFT SIDE. *TC
THIS TRUCK BODY STARTED BREAKING OUT BEHIND THE CAB SOON AFTER I BOUGHT IT. THE ENGINE HAS NEVER RAN RIGHT FROM DAY ONE. IT WAS IN THE DODGE SHOP NUMEROUS TIMES BECAUSE OF POOR FUEL MILAGE, AND THEN DODGE FINALLY AGREED TO SEND THE TRUCK TO CUMMINS. CUMMINS FOUND THAT TRUCK HAD BAD MILAGE ALSO AND WROTE LETTER TO DODGE STATING THE PROBLEMS THEY FOUND. DODGE MORE OR LESS SAID TOUGH, DON'T BOTHER US! THE ENGINE HAD BOKEN PUSH ROD AT LOW MILAGE AND NOW AN INJECTOR MELTED TOP OUT OF PISTON RUINING THE ENGINE.

INTERMITTENTLY IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, THE PEDAL BECOMES HARD RESULTING IN EXTENDED STOPPING. THE DEALER HAS NOT BEEN ABE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. A RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUE ON THE VEHICLE MAKE AND MODEL; HOWEVER THIS VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED DUE TO THE VIN.
THE DOWEL PIN ON THE GEAR HOUSING FALLS OUT LANDING ON CAMSHAFT GEAR CAUSING IT TOO BUST THE HOUSING I KNOW OF TWO THAT HAVE DONE THIS THUS COSTING ALOT OF MONEY PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT THANK YOU.*AK

HAVE SPENT OVER 1700.00 REPLACING PARTS (PCM, EGR SELONOID, EGR GASKET, TPS SENSOR, IAT MOTOR, O2 SENSOR, FUEL PUMP, FUEL REGULATOR) TO REMEDY PROBLEM. SO FAR NO HELP. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

MY LOCAL DODGE DEALER HAS A BULLETIN ON A HIGHER OUTPUT WATER PUMP FOR THE V-10 MOTOR, DUE TO LOW HEAT OUTPUT. MY TRUCK WINDSHIELD ICED UP DURING DRIVING ALLOWING 0 VISIBILITY OUT ON A COUNTRY ROAD. THE THERMOSTAT FAILED AND A 120 AMP FUSE LINK BLEW PER MY LOCAL DODGE DEALER..MY TRUCK STILL PUTS OUT LOW HEAT TEMP. SO I NEED TO KNOW IF CHRYSLER IS RESPONSIBLE SINCE THERE IS A BULLETIN OUT ON IT.? THE PROBLEM WITH THIS DODGE RAM PICK-UP IS ENGINE STALLING. IT CAN HAPPEN UP TO 20 TIMES ON ONE DAY BUT MAY NOT HAPPEN FOR A WEEK OR TWO IN BETWEEN. THIS IS ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS WHEN TURNING BECAUSE WITHOUT THE POWER STEERING IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO COMPLETE THE TURN. *MJS
TEAR IN THE HOSING UNIT THAT REGULATES THE TEMPERATURE OF THE MOTOR CAUSED THE ENGINE HEAD BLOCKS TO BREAK REQUIRING MOTOR REPLACEMENT DUE TO OVERHEATING.
ENGINE WOULD CUT OFF WHEN FUEL TANK REACHES 1/2 FULL. THIS CODITION OCCURS AFTER DEALER REPLACED ENGINE. VEHICLE BEEN IN THE DEALER SHOP ON FOUR OCCASIONS, AND PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. VEHICLE IS NOW AT ANOTHER DEALER'S SHOP AND CONDITION STILL UNABLE TO BE RESOLVED AT THIS TIME. *AK

RECALL WORK COMPLETED HOWEVER DURING REPAIR THERE WAS DAMAGE TO COOLER LINE.
ENGINE STALLS, SEVERAL REPAIRS MADE HOWEVER PROBLEM CONTINUES.
WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY STOPPED FOR GAS, HUSBAND FILLED UP THE GAS TANK THEN WENT INSIDE THE STORE. WHEN CAME BACK OUT, FOUND OUT THAT UNDER VEHICLE WAS A LEAK OF GASOLINE; COMSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO SHOP, AND THEY SAID THAT IT WAS THE CHARCOAL FILTER LEAKING. RIGHT NOW THE VEHICLE IS NOT LEAKING. *AK

WHEN THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED TO SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE PULLS TO THE LEFT. *AK CONSUMER STATES THAT SOMETIMES VEHICLE WILL PULL SLIGHTLY AND SOMETIMES IT WILL PULL SO BAD THAT THE VEHICLE WILL TURN A CORNER ON ITS OWN, THIS HAS BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM SINCE TWO MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE. TRANSMISSION HAS LEAKED THREE TIMES. RADIO BROKE. POWER WINDOWS FAILED. FUEL PUMP FAILED. KNOCKING NOISE IN ENGINE. WEATHER STRIPPING FALLING OFF. *SLC
