This Problem Across All Years
PLEASE REFER TO COMPLAINT TICKET #10193720. ON 7/21/07 I TOOK MY VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD FIXED THE PROBLEM AND THAT I SHOULD NOT ENCOUNTER ANY MORE PROBLEMS. ON 8/17/07 I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN TO HAVE THE GAS TANK REPAIRED. THERE IS A RECALL ON THE FUEL SYSTEM. THE GAS PUMP WILL NOT HOLD SO THAT THE GAS CAN GO INTO THE TANK. I WENT TO THE GAS STATION AFTER PICKING UP MY VEHICLE AND I STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. ON 8/17/07 AT ABOUT 7PM IN THE EVENING AS WE WERE DRIVING THROUGH THE LINCOLN TUNNEL MY CAR STOPPED. LUCKILY, THE CAR STARTED UP AND I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THROUGH THE TUNNEL. THE CAR IDLES VERY HARD. CURRENTLY, 8/18/07 I AM WORKING WITH THE DEALER TO HAVE MY CAR REPAIRED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED. THIS IS A HUGH PROBLEM. I PURCHASED A NEW CAR AND I CAN NOT GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT IT STOPPING. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE. IT IS VERY UNSAFE. PLEASE HELP!!! BOUGHT CAR NEW AND I AM HAVING THE GEARS GET STUCK AND IT USES OR LEAKS ABOUT A QUART OF OIL BETWEEN OIL CHANGES AND CAR ONLY HAS 29,500 MILES AND THE DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO MAKE IT RIGHT THEY SAY THIS IS NORMAL IF SO IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT ON THE STICKER OF THE CAR.I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT IT IT REQUIRES FULL SYNTHETIC OIL WHICH RUNS ABOUT 5.50 A QUART. I AM CLOSE TO WARRANTY TO RUN OUT AND NEED SOME HELP ASAP!!!!

I BOUGHT MY 2005 DODGE RAM 2500 4X4 QUAD CAB WITH THE CUMMINS ENGINE IN FEBUARY 2005SINCE THEN THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 6 TIMES FOR A HIGH PITCHED SQUIKING SOUND FROM THE ENGINE, AT FIRST THE BELT TENSINER WAS REPLACED, PROGLEM PERSISTED, SECOND TIME THE SERPERTINE BELT WAS REPLACED, STILL PERSISTED, THIRD TIME THE WATER PUMP WAS REPLACED, PROBLEM STILL EXISTS, FOURTH TIME THE CAM SHAFT WAS REPLASED, NO AVAIL,FITH THE HARMONIC BALACE WAS CHANGED BUT ITS STILL THERE, SO ON THE SIX ATEMPT THE DEALER GAVE IT BACK TO ME AND SAID "WE CANT FIX IT, FILE FOR LEMMON LAW" THIS HASBEEN A NIGHTMEAR FOR ME THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT BEEN COOPERATIVE AND WE WENT TO ARBITRATION AND THE REPRESENTARIVE OF THE MANUFACTURER ADMITED AL MY COMPLAINTS BUT WANTED TO DISMISS THE CHARGES ON A TECHNICALITY THAT THE LEMMON LAW FORM WAS E- MAILED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS WHICH WAS PROVIDED BY A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP OF DODGE, AS TO SAY THE PROBLEM PERSISTS, THE CASE WAS EXTENDED TO A FINAL REPAIR AND NOW THE TRUCK IS MISS FIRERING AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON..... A NEW PROBLEM ON A TRUCK THAT ONLY HAS 6000 MILES.
