THE TIMING BELT ASSEMBLY IN THE 90 EAGLE TALON'S MUST HAVE A DEFECT THAT THE MANUF. DOES NOT WANT ADMIT TOO A PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE TIMIMG BELT 3 TIMES IN MY CAR, 2 TIMES THE ENGINE WAS DAMAGED. I WOULD LIKE THIS IS LEMON PROBLEM.

WATER PUMP WHICH IS LOCTED ABOVE THE TIMING BELT, WAS LEAKING WATER ON TOP OF BELT, CAUSING THE MOTOR TO LOCK UP. *AK
REAR BRAKE LINE GOING INTO CALIPER IS POINTED IN DIRECTION OF RIM. IF NOT TIED DOWN TO LOCK AND CHANGE DIRECTION, IT WILL RUB RIM AND DAMAGE IT. DEALER CONTACTED AND IS AWARE OF PROBLEM, CANNOT REMEDY. PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK

LEAK IN THE TRANSFER CASE CAUSED THE WHEELS TO LOCK-UP AT 50MPH, THUS CAUSING THE CLUTCH TO EXPLODE, TOTALLY DESTROYING THE BELL HOUSING AND TRANSMISSION. *AK

ENGINE TIMING BELT MALFUNCTIONED DUE TO WEAK TENSIONER. MANUFACTURER ISSUED A SERVICE BULLETIN ON THIS PROBLEM. IF THIS PART FAILS WHILE DRIVING IT COULD CAUSE THE ENGINE TO THROW A ROD AND/OR EJECT PARTS FROM THE MOTOR.

TRANSFER CASE SEAL RUPTURED CAUSING THE DRIVETRAIN TO LOCKED UP AT HIGHWAY SPEED.
