THE ENGINE CUTS OFF FOR A FEW SECONDS WHILE DRIVING AT HIGH SPEEDS (60 MPH). THE VEHICLE LURCHES AS A RESULT. LUCKILY, THE ENGINE STARTS UP AGAIN WITHOUT NEEDING TO CRANK AND THE VEHICLE PROCEEDS. ON ONE OCCASION, WHEN DRIVING AT SLOWER SPEED (25 MPH), THE VEHICLE STALLED. I LOST THE POWER STEERING, AND HAD TO STOP AND RESTART THE IGNITION USING THE KEY. *JB
ONCE IN A WHILE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS MOIST AND RAINING, THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (ALL GAUGES: TACHOMETER, SPEEDOMETER, FUEL, TEMPERATURE) DROP TO ZERO, FLIP TO THE MAXIMUM AND THEN BACK TO ZERO. THE "AIR BAG" LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF. AFTER A MINUTE, THE INSTRUMENTS WORK FINE. THE RPOBLEM REPEATS FOR THE FIRST 10 MINUTES OF THE DRIVE. THERE IS NO CHANGE IN THE DRIVING, STEERING, ENGINE RPM ETC. ONLY THE INSTRUMENTS SEEM TO GET "RESET" (FLIP TO ZERO, MAXIMUM AND BACK TO ZERO). AND THE "AIR BAG" LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF. *NLM

I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 1998 AND HAVE HAD TO FIX IT MYSELF MANY TIMES. I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY SOMEONE TO FIX IT. BUT IF THERE HAS EVER BEEN A LEMON IT IS THIS CAR. I HAVE TO SAY THE MOTOR IS A GOOD ONE. BUT EVERY THING SURROUNDING IT IS JUNK. AT THIS TIME IT IS IN MY MOMS GARAGE AND I'M STILL MAKING PAYMENTS ON IT AND CAN'T EVEN DRIVE IT. RIGHT NOW IT NEEDS: 1.) TIMING BELT 2.) WIRING PROBLEM UNDER DASH-DOME LIGHTS ON ALL THE TIME, A/C CONTROLS WON'T WORK PROPERLY. 3.) INNER TIE RODS NEED REPLACED AGAIN-(4TH TIME) 4.) SPARK PLUG WIRES GO BAD IN ABOUT 12 MONTHS.(THE GOOD ONES). 5.) TIRES ARE GOING BAD EVERY 6 MONTHS BECAUSE OF TIERODS. 6,) PARKING BRAKE CABLE BROKE. 7.) CATALYTIC CONVERTER. 8.) FUEL RAIL O-RINGS NEED REPLACED. WHEN IT WAS RUNNING IT WAS CONSTANTLY DYING ON ME WHILE DRIVING AND WHILE IDLING, AND FINALLY THE OTHER DAY (AFTER REPLACEING THE COIL PACK AND AN IGNITION RELAY) IT DIED AND WOULN'T RESTART AT ALL.........................WHAT CAN OR WILL YOU DO ABOUT THIS LEMON THAT I HAVE HAD TO CONSTANTLY FIX FOR THE WHOLE 4 YEARS THAT I HAVE OWNED THE CAR//????????????????

WHILE DRIVING COULD SMELL FUEL COMING FROM ENGINE HAD FOUND OUT AFTER TAKING VEHICLE TO DEALER THAT FUEL WAS LEAKING THROUGH SPARKS PLUGS. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION. *AK
MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT PROPERLY FIX SAFETY ITEM DURING WARRANTY AND WANT TO CHARGE NOW. NO SAFETY DEFECT LISTED. *AK
VEHICLE WAS BOUGHT USED, AND EVER SINCE THEN THERE HAS BEEN CONSTANT PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN FOR REPAIRS ON 4 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. ALSO, ELECTRICALPROBLEMS CAUSED HORN TO SPORADICALLY RELEASE NOISE/LOCKS TO LOCK AND UNLOCK AUTOMATICALLY, AND TRUNK TO OPEN BY ITSELF. *AK
POSSIBLE ELECTRICAL FAILURE CAUSED THE HORN TO SOUND INTERMITTENTLY AND ON IT OWN. *NLM
THE CAR IS FAIRLY NEW AND WE TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF THE VEHICLE, SINCE WE HAVE OWNED THE CAR WE HAVE PUT 6,098 DOLLARS INTO IT, IT WOULD SEEM TO ME THAT WHEN YOU BUY A CAR FOR 12,000 DOLLARS IT SHOULD RUN VERY WELL FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS. INTERMITTENTLY HORN WILL HONK WHILE DRIVING. DEALER HAS INSPECTED VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES AND THE PROBLEM STILLS EXISTS. MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK *ML
THIS IS THE SAME TROUBLE THAT THE 1994 EAGLE HAS A RECALL ISSUED ON, BUT CHRYSLER WAS UNWILLING TO EVEN HEAR ME OUT, THEY SAID "NO RECALL, NO HELP" THE CAR CAN STALL AT ANY TIME, 60MPH OR IDLE.

COMPUTER'S ELECTRICAL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION CAUSED THE HORN TO BLOW INADVERTENTLY AND DOOR LOCKS TO UNLOCK AND TRUNK LID TO OPEN BY THEMSELVES. ENGINE CAN BE EITHER STARTED OR OFF.
