In May of 2025 we received this email. We have written them 10 times with recall info and also in need of service. We have never received a response. We would love to get the car looked at and fixed, but no one has been able to help us. Our first 6 months with the vehicle, the key Fob stopped working multiple times and I had to get someone to pick up my kids, as I was stranded. As for the brakes, they shoot us forward every now and again when pressed. It is very scary. The Break System is malfunctioning. ADAS System Malfunctioning. Internet problem. The driver's side left HVAC is making a cracking sound. I received a Recall message from the manufacturer and NHTSA, but the person from the dealership service is not going to fix the problem, and he says the message is not Valid. Please help me go through this. And he is not going to honor the warranty. FYI, I also uploaded a picture and Text copy of the message from the manufacturer and NHTSA. Issues since we got the car

Jul 9, 2025

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a critical safety failure of my Fisker Ocean One. This incident involved a sudden and total loss of power while driving, which created a severe safety hazard for myself and other motorists. Date of Incident: [Date the incident occurred] Location of Incident: [Name of Highway, City, State, e.g., Interstate 35, Austin, TX] Detailed Description of the Incident: On [Date of Incident], while I was operating my Fisker Ocean One on the highway, the vehicle experienced a sudden and complete loss of motive power without any prior warning. The vehicle decelerated and came to a stop in a live traffic lane, rendering it a dangerous obstruction. Immediately following the power loss, I made multiple attempts to restart the vehicle and engage "Drive." The vehicle's systems were unresponsive. Despite repeated efforts, the gear selector would not shift into drive, and the vehicle remained immobile. Shortly after these failed attempts, the vehicle's entire electrical system powered off, leaving the car completely disabled on the highway. This catastrophic failure created an extremely dangerous situation, leaving me stranded in a vulnerable position and at high risk of being struck by other vehicles. The inability to move the car, even to the shoulder, constitutes a grave design or manufacturing defect. Given that the manufacturer, Fisker Inc., has declared bankruptcy, I am not filing this complaint with the expectation of a warranty repair or corporate response. Instead, I am submitting this report to formally document this dangerous defect for public safety records and to urge your agency to investigate this issue. The sudden and complete failure of the powertrain and electrical systems in the Fisker Ocean presents a significant risk to all owners and the public

There are so many issues with this vehicle that started right from the beggining when I purchased it back 2023): •The sensors in the car beep frequently even when nothing is in the way. •When using the brakes, the car will sometimes abruptly brake aggressively •Middle console of the inside of the car makes random noises constantly. •Wheels have no traction! Spin when going uphill. •Most importantly the vehicle shuts down automatically. NO warning or signs.

I’m contacting NHTSA to let you know that I have an open recalls that I am trying to get performed. I would like to know how to get reimbursed for the ace recalls for my vehicle as it is crucial to get done ASAP. The issue I have with a car with only 200 miles is that the door handles don’t open properly and the air condition Vents are not opening properly and there were numerous recalls that I would like to get performed and I’m not sure how to go about that with reimbursements . I am also having numerous lights on my dashboard for safety going on and off.

May 24, 2025

We have issues with transmission, braking, AC, and warning lights as well as the radio.

May 24, 2025

It has lots of faults in it. . 1. I got only one key( sometime works sometimes not), It asks for the key to put on NFS reader several times. 2. Transmission problem( it is so irritating when have an emergency to go somewhere and car doesn't gets starts, unable to do gear shifting . Sometimes while driving, especially standing in the traffic areas or red lights, the gear has turned into P mode automatically, then it's hard to turn it back on D mode. People honks . 3. ABS (while driving , sometimes it stops automatically . I'm at the highest danger when cars are coming from behind on speed and my car stops instantly. 4. Hazardous signs( Many hazardous lights coming on screen without any reason) the car starts making noises .. 5. Tires (Bridgestone tires were their on my car when I bought it, it runs only 30-31000 and gone flat, no warranty is covered? Usually Bridgestone runs 80000 kms on other electric cars. Also, there is a tire pressure sign coming continuously from a year without any reason. I went CHK the tire many times and then I needed to change the tires, those are really expensive ( $2500). 6. Tailgate( Car doesn't let me pull out the tailgate ) errors showing on the screen as a malfunction in tailgate 7. Fisker app( it does not work properly, it doesn't let me lock , unlock ,start , shut the car off) also says missing your noble key. 8. Door handles( it has sensor problems, sometimes it doesn't work . I have to struggle a lot to open the car sometimes. Driver side door handle is cracked while driving without even touching the handle. The back door handle is permanently in .. I have to open the back door from inside. 9. Tools ( No basic tools were in the car like Jack, tool kit, charger , tire inflator etc. Hope you can take the actions on the requested problems. Thanks

All Fisker Ocean vehicles were supposed to receive a full 2.2 OS update. However, I received 2.2 (2/3) partial update. I have waited since end of 2024. No full update was ever pushed via OTA on my Fisker Ocean One. I'm the very first Fisker owner. The full 2.2 OS update will fix many software bugs which still exist on my vehicle today.

Apr 30, 2025

I paid out of my own pocket for a safety recall, with no evidence I will ever be refunded, and the recall team has un-done my recall update. This is the 2.2 update that was put in place to fix the potential issues with the safety of the vehicle. I do not know what they have undone. I know that my system went from full 2.2 software to 2.2.2 (part2) of the update. I have no idea if they will now update the vehicle back to the safe 2.2 version, as there are zero plans, and the recall team is insisting that this partial update satisfies all the recalls. But the recall documents say 2.2, not a partial update.. god knows if it is even safe to sit in this incomplete configuration. Still no plans to get water pumps and door handles done yet either. I just started calling tech to travel to my area for these services. 10 of us are going to be paying out of pocet for these recalls as well.

Apr 6, 2025

There are many incidents to report. 1. No Braking consistency and sometimes a jerk forward on braking, many incidents about 10. Also loss of regen braking at times. 2. Software safety features do not work and constant warning it does not work. Mostly lane assist, automatic parking collision warning. One time reversing camera shows room with digital assist lines which did not protect or warn car of swiping another car. Only slight damage to my vehicle. 3. Driver door handle water leakage causing door to not open with NFC chip and is constantly very warm on the handle as if there is electrical current always on. 4. I had to buy a new KEY FOB as old one has failed. 5. Rear passenger door reading light will come on for no reason. Some adjustment needed. 6. Broken air vents. Poor quality plastic apparently. I did tell manufacturer when i received car and they offered to fix but unfortunately at time I had no time to come in for repair before they went bankrupt and closed shop. Regardless they used poor plastic and a fix needs a better quality plastic i found out in research with other owners. 7. Inherent Production quality of parts problem many owners are discovering with help of owner organization to find remedy.

American Leasing retains control of the FAST Diagnostic System system software used by the few remaining Fisker Service Technicians. FAST allows technicians to upgrade firmware in various components in the car. Some are related to current recalls on braking, electric motor controls, as well as modules related to ADAS system not completed by Fisker; yet, system which generates numerous "alarms" while driving creating a distracted driving nightmare especially during poor weather conditions. Without this "OEM" service tool, service techs have a difficult time installing updates, resetting components, or diagnosing failed parts. It is one of the few lifelines available for single vehicle owners to continue to operate our Fisker's safely. American Leasing is price gouging non-American Lease service technicians for access to this tool to service the approximate 4,000 vehicles bought in the open market prior to bankruptcy. They know it is our service technicians only complete diagnostic tool and are greedily preventing our folks from access.

To Whom It May Concern, I am filing an urgent safety complaint regarding my Fisker Ocean One Launch Edition SUV, which continues to experience braking failures despite the latest software recall update (2.2.2). Fisker has now ceased operations, leaving me and other owners without any ability to have our vehicles tested or repaired. Braking Issue Persists: Despite Fisker’s claim that update 2.2.2 resolves the braking problem, my vehicle continues to exhibit severe braking failures, indicating the issue may be hardware-related. No Service Options Available: Fisker’s shutdown means there is no way to have the vehicle inspected or repaired, posing a significant safety risk to both drivers and pedestrians. Request for Investigation: I urge NHTSA to reopen or expand the recall and investigate whether Fisker vehicles pose an ongoing safety hazard that should trigger additional consumer protections. This is a critical issue that has now occurred on multiple occasions that requires immediate attention, as these vehicles remain on the road without proper testing or repair availability. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Component/System Failure: Lane-Keeping Assist: Malfunctioned during highway turns, aggressively steering toward the shoulder, creating a collision risk. Turning off the feature does not prevent it from re-engaging. Braking & Acceleration: After hitting a pothole, braking failed to engage properly, and the car unexpectedly accelerated, requiring immediate action to regain control. Regenerative Braking: Inconsistent performance made it difficult to stop at higher speeds or downhill, increasing the risk of losing control. Random Parking Engagement: While reaching into my back pocket at low speed, the car unexpectedly shifted into "Park," abruptly stopping in traffic and posing a rear-end collision risk. Brake System Malfunction: A persistent "Brake System Malfunction" warning appears during normal driving, raising concerns about braking reliability. Availability for Inspection: The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Safety Risks: Lane-Keeping Assist: Unintended steering toward the shoulder endangers me and other road users. Braking & Acceleration: Failure to brake and unexpected acceleration create hazardous conditions. Regenerative Braking: Inconsistent braking may lead to loss of control, particularly at high speeds or downhill. Random Parking Engagement: Unexpected shifts into "Park" in traffic could result in a collision. Brake System Malfunction: Persistent warnings and unreliable braking compromise vehicle safety. Reproduction/Confirmation by Dealer: The dealer has been notified, but no permanent fix has been provided. The safety issues remain unresolved. Warning Lamps/Messages: The "Brake System Malfunction" alert frequently appears during normal driving, along with braking failures and lane-keeping assist malfunctions. In addition to other system alerts.

While I was travelling and out of town there was an OTA update (2.2 )to address the issued recalls on my car on 2/25/2025 (OTA update 2.2 1/3) followed with another one OTA update (2.2) on 2/28/2025. In anticipation of the OTA update I had to replace the battery with a new battery in December 2024. In early March, I remotely checked on that status of my car and realized that the car is dead. When I returned home the car was inoperable due to drained battery. After extensive effort and cost of another battery I was able to get the car to turn on. However, I noticed that even though the main monitor indicated 2.2; one of the recalls 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1) has not been deployed.

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The braking system failure and the radar not detected messages were displayed. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 7,000.

Mileage: 7,000

1) Since the day that I took delivery on 1/18/24, I have not had any audio- media, phone and safety warnings. This is extremely dangerous as I have no auditory warnings for any of the safety systems. I have never been able to listen to any entertainment through the speakers nor can I make a phone call, hands-free. If I have to make or take a call, I have to use Airpods- illegal while driving- or use the phone speaker, which is difficult to hear at higher speeds. In addition, 2) according to the warning lights on the dash, many of the safety systems are often inoperable. 3) Brakes sometimes fail, causing the car to continue forward after the pedal is depressed. It's extremely dangerous and very scary when it happens. 4) There is often a warning light that the 12-volt battery is low. 5) Overhead cabin lights come on while driving and make it difficult to drive when it is dark outside. 6) HVAC vents are broken/inoperable. 7) Rear mudflaps tore and are hanging. Thank you.

Mar 6, 2025

There was a mandate that an update be performed to address safety issues with braking. The update has been partially done which has not addressed the original issue and has created other safety issues (inability to see screen, no AC control, no rear camera, no blind spot, no emergency braking).

Mar 5, 2025

On several occasions, following update to the 2.2 S/W load to address Recall RCAK-24V405-1431, dated June 11, 2024, the vehicle braking system has been erratic with Emergency Braking System Warning lights / alarms repeatedly annunciating. I paid for the 2.2 S/W upgrade, at my cost, to address the recall requirements.

Mar 4, 2025

Too many warning issues lights coming on and off. The main/large touch-screen completely turns off and disables the driver to use HVAC and several safety features. Unwanted accelerations when going on bumps. Mileage accuracy issues.

Car is unsafe to drive due to braking recall(faulty regen braking)(24V865000), water pump recall (loss of power )(24V99000) and door handle recall(lock in car)(24V404000). Bankruptcy court has allocated monies for Repair but i have not received any repairs or notifications from responsible parties. Car is undriveable.

Car is unsafe to drive due to faulty brakes (regen fails and car looses ability to brake) NHTSA CN: 24V865000 Car will loose power due to faulty water pump go into limp mode or stall. NHTSA CN: 24V99000 Car needs software updates for braking issue(version 2.2) and water pump replacement with updated water pump. Parties assigned/funded by Bankruptcy court have not contacted me to repair the car. it has been since parked since November of 2024.

I was scheduled for the 2.2 update (to fix various recalls) on 11/11/24, with a healthy 12V battery, connected to a tender. I left the car alone for 3 days, to be sure that there was plenty of time for the update to be pushed. When I went to drive the car on [XXX], the car would not drive. It showed to be in "N" (neutral), would not shift to park or drive, every warning light possible was lit on the dash, and the "pedestrian warning" hum was sounding. Even exiting the vehicle and locking it did not turn off the infotainment center. I was unable to move or drive the vehicle in this state, and there are NO mechanics in Arizona with a FAST tool, to diagnose or fix the car. I had a former Fisker Master Technician come change the 12V battery (which cost $305.40 for the battery, and $150 for the install), but this did not reverse the above situation. Because it was "bricked", I couldn't even charge the HV battery to keep the 12V charged, so I had to hook up a 15A maintainer to the 12V, so that the car wouldn't drain the brand new 12V. The tech also tried disconnecting the HV battery, and reconnecting it, in hopes that it would reset, but it didn't. With no FAST tools available in my state, I ultimately had to sell the vehicle at a loss of about $70,000. When the new owner tried to have it towed, the front wheels were locked, despite the car showing it was in "N" (neutral), and it had to be dragged out of the garage, and then died (12V, now no longer on a maintainer) in the street, waiting for a tow truck that could haul it with the locked front wheels. I was never able to drive it after the attempted 2.2 update, so never got the recall work completed. I was also never able to get the water pump recall done, either.

Mar 3, 2025

The car is completely bricked and will not function after an over the air update. It was functioning before the update. Additionally, I had to pay approximately $1300 for labor related to replacement of the water pump that should have beed covered under recall

Lack of Access, Inability to Use Vehicle, Out of Pocket I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000 and the OTA (Over-the-Air) update process for my vehicle. The current OTA process left me needing to replace my 12-V and forced me to pay out of pocket to get a manual update installed, which is financially burdensome. In addition, I also had to pay out of pocket to replace a recalled water pump. This has left many of us in a state of uncertainty regarding the functionality of our vehicles and forced to pay out of pocket for a mandatory free recall.

I have not received the 2.2 software update. The software delivered to my vehicle is 2.2.2, which has been communicated as an incomplete remedy of 2.2 that has not been homologated. Also, none of the hardware recalls have been addressed on my vehicle. My only local service provider does not accept any recall related work due to customers not receiving reimbursement. I do not have any available options to have my vehicle fully serviced. In addition to open recalls, I have a magnitude of issues with my vehicle, including but not limited to broken door handles, broken NFC reader, broken key fob, broken rubber trim, intermittent ADAS, intermittent reverse camera operation, and missing software features.

Mar 2, 2025

The Fisker Inc has went for Chapter 7. The two recalls regarding the safety of the calls (recall #TSB10062408 and #TSB55062401) have not been properly deployed into my car, which were supposed adminstrated by the money given by Fisker Chapter 7 trustee to American Lease. American Lease has the duty to deployment the necessary tool and software update to my car. 6 months it has passed, my car only got partial software update and has no communication from American Lease as well as no driver side handle software to be released to Fisker qualified auto shops to replace the handle. American Leasing is demanding owners now have to pay for their software update, which should be free to owners.

None of the following recalls have been corrected/ or the update to 2.2, have been completed on my vehicle Recalls are not being done or parts provided. Brakes not working. ABS has become defective. Manufacturer not owning repairs and vehicle is not serviceable. Nearly collided with pedestrian but emergency brake prevented accident. Was able to get vehicle home, but unusable.

Feb 26, 2025

Unexpectedly was updated from software version 2.1 to 2.2.1 that has since caused my braking to become harder to make complete stops and increased the brakes being stuck during the stopping process. It has also brought on issues with my regen brake's ability and my range has decreased dramatically. Additionally, I now have multiple status error signs on my front display due to front sensor not detecting and hill mode being activated.

My complaint is regarding the handling of the following NHTSA campaigns on my 2023 Fisker Ocean One: 24V865000 (Regen Braking OTA-2.2) 24V499000 (Water pump) 24V466000 (Door Handles) After 4 months there has been zero communication from the OTA team and the trustee regarding the OTA and physical repair work needed to address these safety defects. My vehicle is on software 2.0 and received 2.2 (1/3) unannounced on 2/12/25. There was no notice of this update other than an on-screen message after the fact, nor does it drive any differently. It does not appear to have fixed anything. Seeking your assistance in getting clarify and a timeline for the completion of these recalls.

Feb 25, 2025

I am still waiting on full OTA 2.2. I have been on 2.2.1 for weeks now with no communication as to when, or if, I will ever receive the mandated update. I drive my Fisker every day and experience the failed breaking when trying to stop on rough terrain, bumps, or holes in the road. This was supposed to be addressed in recall 24V865000. I am still waiting for replacement of my water pump from recall 24V499000 I am still waiting for testing and replacement of my door handles from recall 24V466000 I have constant ADAS warning lights popping up about failed RADAR system, charging port open (even though it is not), etc., from recall 24V405000 I also haven't had blind spot monitoring in months.

Feb 25, 2025

REGENERATIVE BRAKING ISNT WORKING. I NEED A SOFTWARE UPDATE.

24V623: Safety Recall Campaign TSB10062408 - Braking Improvement Software Update - no work has been done. Fisker has never returned any phone calls I have made regarding service. Now service number and website are both not active. 24V499: Water Pump Failure - no work has been done. Fisker has never returned any phone calls I have made regarding service. Now service number and website are both not active. 24V466: Door Handles - no work has been done. Fisker has never returned any phone calls I have made regarding service. Now service number and website are both not active. Fisker may have attempted an Over the Air software update over the weekend, but it failed and the care is no longer responsive. It can not be unlocked. It can not been contacted by software. And, there is no number to contact to correct the issue.

Feb 24, 2025

1.) Recall Campaign # TSB30032401 Issue - I had to pay out of pocket for recall item totaling $280. The service provider used, Pat's Garage in San Francisco had not been informed of process to get reimbursement for recall resulting in having to pay out of pocket. As of today 2/24/25, there is no process for owners to get reimbursed either. The other issue is $175 to cover recall is not enough to cover the costs. Please address this issue with setting up process for reimbursement and increasing amount of recall costs. See attached invoice for services paid out of pocket. 2.) Braking Issue and ADAS Warning - Lack of Access to Recall Service - This is regarding ongoing issues that are part of NHTSA recall campaign numbers 23V865000 and 24V623000. Our vehicles brake system has not been addressed with current updates. There are only 20 technicians available nationwide to address urgent issues. I can't afford to wait for months for resolution to pay out of pocket for solutions.

Feb 23, 2025

Brakes: The brake pedal occasionally oscillates while being depressed. This feels like a tickle and causes uncertainty of control while braking. Speed Control: Loss of speed control experienced during abrupt change in road level (in a construction zone). Loss of speed control engaged regenerative braking causing a sharp decrease in vehicle speed and stopping hazard to vehicles behind mine. Blind Spot Warning: Activates often while driving toward rising or setting sun or other very bright lights. Numerous audible and visual indicators from this warning are a distraction while driving and cause heightened awareness and fatigue. Car is available for inspection. No inspection has been initiated at this time. Dealers are not available as Fisker, Inc. is bankrupt. Similar safety incidents and others have been reported on this make and model of vehicle in the Fisker Owners Association forum.

Feb 23, 2025

Prior to a recall-mandated update of the vehicle's operating system, I received numerous (daily) ADAS warning lights and sounds. Regen braking often (2-3 times per week) jerked the car abruptly. Additionally, the ADAS lane-keeping process was jerky. The vehicle was evaluated by an over-the-air (OTA) team and determined to be ready for an OTA update, which occurred from 11/11/ to 11/12/2024. This update was managed by an OTA team that was mandated and funded by these NHTSA recalls: 24V865000 (Regen Braking OTA-2.2), 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1), and 24V404000 (MCU/VCU Loss of Power OTA-2.1). The OTA update only partially loaded, with the vehicle was at OS 2.2 (2/3) and inoperable for 2 months, from 11/12/2024 through 01/12/2025. I made numerous attempts for support during this time, with communication via the Fisker Owners Association but no information from the OTA team. After I replaced the 12V battery, two recharges, and a remote tech support, the vehicle's electrical system was again available to receive an additional OTA update yet not operable. With limited notice, the vehicle received some of the missing components of OS 2.2 on 01/23/2025, at which point the vehicle was operational again. Though at this time the key fob only connects as an NFC device, with the potential risk of the key losing security connections while driving (and thus turning off, mid-drive). This has not occurred but a technician has noted this risk and I now "velcro" the key to the NFC port while driving. I have yet to receive two additional recall repairs: 24V499000 (Water pump), 24V466000 (Door Handles). I have an appointment with a former Fisker technician who has stated that I will need to pay him directly for the service time for replacing the water pump, and then seek reimbursement from the managers of the mandatory recall.

Feb 23, 2025

My entire ADAS system is unreliable and I get constant warnings for various features including, but not limited to Adaptive Cruise, Collision warnings, emergency breaking, lane keeping, etc. Additionally, I still have a very common issue when braking on a broken surface where the car lurches forward. I have MANY electrical issues related to interior/exterior lighting, accessibility, etc.

Feb 23, 2025

I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. The experience I had with my Fisker vehicle following the 2.2 Over-the-Air (OTA) update attempt left my vehicle undrivable. This is leaving me in an inconvenient and frustrating situation. As a result, I will have to incur additional expenses to have the necessary safety updates completed to restore my vehicle's functionality. This is far from the experience that I expected when signing up for a free mandated safety recall. I understand that a significant percentage of vehicles (approximately 2%-5%) have become undrivable--like mine--following these updates. This situation is alarming and raises concerns about the reliability of the updates being delivered. According to owner surveys, it appears that complete updates—which include all necessary corrections—have been accomplished in less than 30% of cases. Furthermore, I was surprised to learn that only about 10% of the fleet (approximately 300 vehicles) had been updated after several weeks of attempts, despite over 800 VINs submitted for this process. This statistic raises questions about the efficiency and effectiveness of the OTA process. Lastly, I am deeply concerned about the limited number of service personnel available in the U.S., with only around 20 individuals servicing the entire country and merely 5 traveling nationwide to assist customers with undriveable vehicles. This scarcity is unacceptable and leads to extended wait times for necessary repairs and updates. I urge you to address these issues promptly, putting more vehicles in danger of becoming undrivable because of the safety recall process being flawed. It is imperative that this process is reviewed and the underlying safety concerns that have left many of us feeling unsupported and frustrated are resolved in a manner that will be free of cost and successful to the majority of owners. Thank you!

Unannounced OTA update on 2/22/2025 left my vehicle undrivable and no longer operational by draining 12V battery and failed installation caused partial software update making the car no longer operational. The vehicle, now, shows it is stuck in neutral and doesn’t even sift any more. OTA update was supposedly addressing below recall related issues: 24V865000 (Regen Braking OTA-2.2) 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1) 24V404000 (MCU/VCU Loss of Power OTA-2.1) For 24V499000 (Water pump) repair, I had to pay a repair shop to replace the parts directly even it was suppose to be paid by Fisker. My door handle issue (24V466000 (Door Handles)) still need to be addressed but not sure how and who will be addressing the issue. I will attach image showing all the warning lights that are on the car after the OTA update attempt.

NHTSA recall campaign numbers are below. Or can be found on this website [XXX] . 24V865000 (Roll away OTA-2.0) 24V865000 (Regen Braking OTA-2.2) 24V499000 (Water pump) 24V466000 (Door Handles) 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1) 24V404000 (MCU/VCU Loss of Power OTA-2.1) Here is a summary of some of the statistics the FOA has been sharing with owners on the process, you can use these to support your positions. Every week of OTA updates has had vehicles whose owners have reported them as undrivable afterward (~2%-5% usually). Windows are 48 hrs long, car is unusable for the entire window. Partial updates are expected, and another 48 hrs may be required to complete. Complete updates (correct sounds and all), per owner surveys, have been under 30%. One set of numbers shared with FOA, and then shared with owners, was that only ~10% of the fleet (~300) was updated after 5 weeks of attempts and over 800 VINs submitted for attempt. There are only ~20 US service people available for the entire country, and only ~5 travel nationwide to fix our vehicles when a car is undrivable. [XXX] Recall rates shared in the email announcement, repeated for your reference here. Up to $175 for a water pump replacement and all door handle checks $85 for the replacement of a faulty non-NFC door handle (so any door handle that is not the driver’s door handle), $100 for the replacement of the NFC’ed, driver’s door handle. $225 for a manual 2.2 update regardless of the starting software version, or $375 for all three (manual 2.2 update, water pump replacement, and all door handles checked). As a matter of fact while installing one of the above (unknown specifically which one because there is not communication), my car was bricked and undrivable and has been since 9/19/2024. There are no technicians with the proper tools (OFT) to fix the vehicle and it just sits waiting for one day when there is a solution. This vehicle is unsupportable and undrivable.

The vehicle's door handles work intermittently, sometimes preventing driver or passenger escape. Recall 24V466000 still has not been performed due to parts availability. ADAS system is inoperable, causing a safety issue - forward collision warning is inoperable, adaptive cruise control was never activated by the factory, the blind spot monitor does not operate, lane departure warning does not operate. An unscheduled over-the-air software update was completed in the last week which has now rendered the vehicle's ICC inoperable, and causing the gauge cluster to reset at regular intervals while the vehicle is in motion. This creates an incredible safety issue as I lose visibility of speed, turn signals deactivate. The vehicle also goes into 'park' when stopped for a red light or stop sign if the driver's weight is shifted at all, causing an unsafe situation attempting to find the key to put it back into 'drive.'

I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Specifically, the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in my vehicle, which has become increasingly distracting and, frankly, dangerous due to an incomplete or failed 2.2 Over-The-Air (OTA) update is a huge concern.

Braking Issue and ADAS Warning + Lack of Access Concerns I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Specifically, the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in my vehicle, which has become increasingly distracting and, frankly, dangerous due to an incomplete or failed 2.2 Over-The-Air (OTA) update is a huge concern. As a responsible driver, I value the safety of not only myself but also those around me, and this situation and others we constantly hear about make me question the process of the recall. Every week, a number of vehicles are reported as undrivable post-OTA updates, with statistics indicating that approximately 2%-5% of owners experience this issue. With 48-hour update windows, my vehicle becomes unusable for an extended period, which is highly inconvenient and concerning. Moreover, I've noted that partial updates are expected, potentially extending this downtime by another 48 hours. I have had a partial update that has left my vehicle in worse shape than before, what could happen if the process is tried again? This inconsistent performance is not only frustrating, but also poses a serious inconvenience to scheduling and executing such a process. Owner surveys suggest that comprehensive updates, which should resolve these issues, have been successfully completed in under 30% of vehicles which were attempted. Additionally, the alarming figures shared indicate that only around 10% of the fleet has been updated in over five weeks, despite submitting over 800 Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs). This inefficiency raises serious questions about the reliability of the process. Furthermore, the fact that there are only approximately 20 service personnel available nationwide, with a mere five traveling to assist customers whose cars are rendered undrivable, is simply unacceptable. This lack of support exacerbates an already troubling situation.

Pedestrian Warning Sounds Gone I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Following an attempted OTA software update for the safety recall, I have noticed that the pedestrian alert noises are missing, which poses a significant safety risk not only for those around the car but also for the occupants inside the vehicle. This situation is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the vehicle’s safety features. Moreover, it has come to my attention that a concerning number of owners have reported their vehicles as undrivable following OTA updates, with 2%-5% of vehicles experiencing such issues weekly. The current 48-hour update window renders my car unusable, and now I require another session, an additional 48 hours to complete the update only adds to my frustration. Based on owner surveys, it appears that complete updates, including the correct sounds, have been successfully implemented in less than 30% of vehicles attempted. Given these concerns, I urge you to look into the situation with my vehicle and the entire process. I should not have to pay out of pocket for the safety recall and restored function of pedestrian alert noises, nor the cost of a rental car. Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.

I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Multiple attempts of this safety recall have been scheduled over the past several weeks for my vehicle, but the update has yet to be completed. As an owner who values safety and reliability, I am increasingly concerned about the unresolved safety issues that were supposed to be addressed with this software update. Yesterday I was able to address the water pump recall however the list service cost $340 opposed to the listed $175. This is a mandatory recall and I had no choice but to pay for the replacement of the water pump. Please help. This vehicle has become an incredibly unsafe and a financial burden. Mandatory recall service should be free to the vehicle owner. I feel American Leasing is fleecing vehicle owners. They were given the responsibility to Shepard the recall process and they are failing to do their job by paying full reimbursement $340. Thank you for watching out for us.

I received a letter from Fisker in Sep 2024 about NHTSA Campaign number 24V623 which was about braking Improvement Software update. It's now Feb 2025 and nothing has been received over the air. For the past several months there's a weird clicking feeling when applying the brake pedal and I assume that's what this Over the Air update was to address. The closest service place that can force an update is 60 miles from me. They charge $450 to this update and it's not a full update, so I don't even know if the brakes would be "fixed" by paying this amount. The above is my largest concern, but there are still the following recalls I can't get addressed: 24V499000 (Water pump) 24V466000 (Door Handles) 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1) I live in Los Angeles and no one can fix these for me (not even the above service center that can do the software update due to lack of parts). The door handles feel like a miracle every time they open and the warning lights in the car go off CONSTANTLY while driving and there is no way to turn them off. They are a major distraction while dirivng both visually and audibly. This has been going on since I received the letter in September of 2024

On [XXX], I was exiting the freeway and went over a slight bump in the exit lane. I went to engage the brakes, and my car lunged forward (24V865000). Shortly after turning left from the freeway exit, my car began to stall and shut down - displaying an issue with the main battery. My car kept stalling and shutting off and had to be towed (24V404000). I had a mobile tech come out to try and repair the car. He replaced the 12v battery and ensured the PDU / front of the car was functional and working properly. He determined that there may be an issue with the High Voltage Battery and recommended it be taken to a repair shop. He also confirmed that even though my car said it was on 2.2 Software, it was not even partially installed. I called the approved service center in Newport, CA and they informed me they would not be able to work on my car. So, I had to tow my car to Riverside, CA as it's the only other repair shop in Southern California. This incident occurred after I replaced my water pump (24V499000) in Riverside and had to pay $150 out of pocket. My car has been in the shop for at least 2 weeks and I was told it may not be repairable. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

24V405000 - Constant alerts are very distracting while driving, causing me to have to verify if the warnings can be ignored or if it is a major issue. This does not pertain to just one alert, but the automatic emergency braking warning, blind spot warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance warning all send notifications that they are not working at various times. Also, my version is at 2.2 part (2/3). It's not fully updated and I'm not certain if the fixes were implemented correctly. On 10/26/24 I went to see a mechanic, Roush Restorations LLC, who serviced my water pump recall. It cost approximately $230.

The regen brake male function with any bump in the road making the control of the car more difficult especially when the regen has been engaged before hitting the bump in the road as the vehicle accelerates and now I have to slam on the brake to avoid getting close to the car in the front of me or and avoid rear-ending it. The ADAS malfunctions randomly and more often when any rain, fog, and or strong light is facing the vehicle. The emergency collision braking stops working, along with several other safety systems such as forward collision, blind spot, and lane-keeping assistance. When I was driving and had been relying on the blindspot monitoring and notification and wanted to change my lane there were no notifications, because the blind spot monitoring had stopped working, and I encountered another vehicle in the lane that I was trying to merge; it became very dangerous and now I had to take evasive action to avoid a collision. The driver's door with NFC does not work anymore. I received the following recall letters a while back. 24V865000 (Regen Braking OTA-2.2) 24V499000 (Water pump) 24V466000 (Door Handles) 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1) 24V404000 (MCU/VCU Loss of Power OTA-2.1) My understanding is that some of these were supposed to be addressed through the OTA software upgrade OTA-2.1 and OTA-2.2 but as of this submittal I am still on 2.0 and have not received any OTA update. These problems are ongoing and thus there is no specific date that I can pick in the next section so I will just pick a random date.

NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000, 24V405000 and 24V623000 As a result of a partial OTA SW update, my vehicle has bricked - battery is drained, leaving vehicle inoperable and inaccessible - I cannot even open the door to access the vehicle. I've have my 12v battery plugged in, but is drained beyond chargability and the main HV battery will no longer accept a charge. My vehicle no longer functions, I cannot use it for daily nor even emergency needs. The experience I had following the 2.2 Over-the-Air (OTA) update attempt left my vehicle undrivable. I will need to incur additional expenses to have the necessary safety updates completed to restore my vehicle's functionality. This is supposed to be a free mandated safety recall. Moreover, a concerning trend regarding the frequency of issues reported by fellow owners after OTA updates, approximately 2% to 5% experience similar problems, rendering them undrivable during the 48-hour update window. This situation not only disrupts our daily lives but also raises serious concerns about the reliability of the software updates. I am particularly troubled by the statistics indicating that only around 10% of the fleet has been updated successfully after several weeks of attempts and successful complete updates are only in ~30% of those. My vehicle's braking system, particularly as it relates to its performance over rough terrain, has not yet been addressed even though we have attempted updates. I have experienced significant brake slippage and a loss of function, which poses a serious safety risk. I cannot afford to wait months for a resolution while I am forced to pay out of pocket for alternative solutions to ensure my vehicle is safe to drive. The limited number of service personnel available in the U.S., with only around 20 individuals servicing the entire country and merely 5 traveling nationwide to assist customers with undriveable vehicles. This scarcity is unacceptable - this needs to be addressed.

I was told by the Fisker service center that my vehicle CANNOT receive the required safety recall software updates without also getting a new 12V battery installed. I would like the full cost of the safety recall to be covered including the necessary new battery. Also, I was charged $325 labor to have another recall done - to replace the water pump. Here is a list of safety recalls for this vehicle and my current situation: 24V865000 (Regen Braking OTA-2.2) - cannot be completed on my vehicle without new 12V battery 24V499000 (Water pump) - I was charged $325 to complete the required safety recall 24V466000 (Door Handles) - inspection was not completed, service center asked for additional labor payment, which I refused to make. 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1) - cannot be completed without new 12V battery 24V404000 (MCU/VCU Loss of Power OTA-2.1) -cannot be completed without new 12V battery To be clear, my vehicle's battery is fine, it is in normal condition for a 1-year old vehicle. It does not need to be replaced other than to perform the required safety recalls. I would like NHTSA to require the current bankruptcy holder of Fisker's assets to reimburse me for the labor cost of the required safety water pump replacement AND to pay the full cost of the other required safety recalls.

Inability to have Recall Work Completed and Fees Being Charged for Recall Work I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Multiple attempts of this safety recall have been scheduled over the past several weeks for my vehicle, but the update has yet to be completed. To date, I have been disappointed to learn that each week brings reports from fellow vehicle owners indicating that their cars have become undrivable following these updates, with a concerning failure rate of approximately 2% to 5%. I have purchased a new battery and battery tender to address my vehicle from "bricking" from these OTA updates after reading many 12V have failed during the process. This is unacceptable for any customer who relies on their vehicle for daily transportation. Additionally, the lengthy 48-hour windows during which our cars become unusable only exacerbate the frustration and inconvenience faced by owners. The expectation of partial updates, followed by yet another potential 48-hour downtime, is not a practical solution. Furthermore, the feedback from owner surveys suggests that complete updates, which should ideally resolve these issues, have only succeeded in under 30% of attempted vehicles. This raises serious questions about the efficacy of the OTA update process and its implementation. As such, I and many others have turned to hiring a mobile technician to manually load the software updates. I have had to also do the same for the water pump recall. I should not have to pay $1700 in travel expenses and $250 more to have the software updated. Also, the $170 reimbursement rate being paid by American Leasing for water pump replacement is below the market rate. The market rate is $250-$260.

The issues with this vehicle started, right from delivery. The staff, had me waiting for a couple of hours and finally called me into the back and explained that paint and ding needed to be fixed. They promised that if I took delivery, they would provide me with the needed repairs this was back on 9/26/23. The dings and paint issues were never resolved. What I did receive was a complimentary home charger. The day after the vehicle would self shift into park. This happened too many times to count. I shifted into park while I was backing up, when I slowed down, and when stopped in the middle of traffic which became a safety concern. Several near collision misses while backing up made the situation life altering and produced extremely stressful situations arises from the self shift issue. In addition, a few times I could not even get into the vehicle due to key fob to car communication issues. I had to use other transportation. This was corrected, however it still happens from time to even to date. The fact that too many warning lights would flash constantly on the dashboard made it impossible to know what was malfunctioning or what was working in this vehicle. More than ten service tickets were ignored. Some did not seem to even go through when using the fisker app or their official website. There was also a battery drain issue that left me stranded twice I had to call for tow assistance. On 9/20/24 an OTA update was forced through that made the car battery drain an feel like the Fisker it was stalling. I drove in the slow lane made it home, charged my car, but the car had bricked. No one from fisker would answer, I had to find assistance elsewhere. I had to pay out of pocket to fix this, $617.70. In addition to all the current lingering issues, it had a door handle issue from the inside and out. To resolve this, again I had to pay 360 to fix it. Daily now, it dies and states drive motor issues. This car continues to be a safety concern. Help me

Feb 16, 2025

In early October 2024, my Fisker received over the air software update 2.2. This software update bricked the car, rendering it in operable, and I was unable to even unlock the vehicle. I managed to get in through the back window, and triggered the alarm when I tried to start the car. The vehicle was inoperable for 2 1/2 months, until I located a technician, at my own expense of close to $2900 to fly out, diagnose the problem, and Unbrick the car. The technician was able to get the car running and reinstall most of the software, but the software update damaged the ADAS controller in the vehicle, rendering it in operable. It hastaking me over a month and a half to source a replacement part, and I purchased one at a cost to myself of approximately $400. I still have to go through the process of having a technician recode the module, and install it, at what I think will be a cost of least several hundred more dollars. At this point I am out of pocket nearly $4000 because of the software update which damaged the vehicle. As of yet, I do not know if I will be able to successfully complete the software 2.2 update, which is required to complete / remedy these NHTSA recalls 24V865000 (Regen Braking OTA-2.2) 24V405000 (Warning Lights OTA-2.1) 24V404000 (MCU/VCU Loss of Power OTA-2.1)

Feb 15, 2025

Hi, I don't have a functioning car. It is bricked due to an update from 2.0 to 2.1 (en route to 2.2). I've experienced all the normal stuff like my Brakes wouldn't work as expected and the ADAS Warning Beeps were going nuts... But currently, there was a forced, OTA Update that I did not consent to and now the car does not move (or turn on). I'm concerned about the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. The experience I had with my Fisker durning a 2.1 Over-the-Air (OTA) update attempt left my vehicle undrivable. This is leaving me in an inconvenient and frustrating situation. As a result, I had to incur additional expenses to have the necessary safety updates completed to restore my vehicle's functionality. This is far from the experience that I expected when signing up for a free mandated safety recall. Moreover, I've noticed a concerning trend regarding the frequency of issues reported by fellow owners after OTA updates. It appears that a significant percentage of vehicles—approximately 2% to 5%—experience similar problems, rendering them undrivable during the 48-hour update window. This situation not only disrupts our daily lives but also raises serious concerns about the reliability of the software updates. I am particularly troubled by the statistics indicating that only around 10% of the fleet has been updated successfully after several weeks of attempts. With such a limited number of service personnel available nationwide, it is alarming that many owners like myself are left without adequate support during these challenging times. I urge you to address these issues promptly, putting more vehicles in danger of becoming undrivable because of the safety recall process being flawed may not be helpful in this current process. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer in resolving my current situation and compensating for the expenses incurred due to this inconvenience. Thank you :)

I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. I was forced to pay to have my software updated to alleviate the concerns as the recall was not being performed properly. This situation is unacceptable, and I urge you to take immediate action to address these critical issues. I look forward to a prompt response.

I am $851 out of pocket for repairs to address NHTSA mandated recalls. Software updates have not fully addressed all issues, notably excessive and distracting repeating audible and visual driver alerts related to ADAS failures, especially when raining, dark, or driving into direct sunlight. Vehicle was subject to multiple recalls (software: 24V865000, 24V623000, 24V405000, 24V404000; hardware: 24V499000) manufacturer is bankrupt, zero follow-through from trustee / administrators to enable me to get these recalls addressed. There is an "OTA" team who are responsible for delivering software updates over the air. They are opaque, uncontactable, and appear to operate beholden to no-one. They have failed to establish a method for providing the NHTSA mandated software updates. The Fisker Owner's Association has attempted to fill the administrative delinquency but they are also not getting support. My complaint is based on the requirement that the manufacturer ensures I am not out of pocket for the cost of the remediation work to address the recalls and they have failed to provide a way for me to do this. As a result I have paid out of pocket to have them addressed. Attached is the invoice from a local garage for software updates ($495 labor) and water pump replacement ($325 labor + $31 parts).

The car has issues with braking over a bump, it stops breaking momentarily. There is a recall for this however the company charged with performing the recalls is now getting the work done or leaving it up to the owner to pay for the parts and labor of the recall. There is also a recall for the cabin circulation pump and door handles, again owner will be charged for labor and parts. TSB10062408, TSB30032401

I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000.I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the OTA (Over-the-Air) update process for my vehicle. The current OTA process is a disaster! The first update attempt was incomplete with only 1/3 of the update installing. This caused issues and all subsequent OTA attempts failed, causing me not to be able to drive it for days and weeks at a time for fear of my safety and that of others. Ultimately, this resulted in me paying for a tech to fly to TN to finish the update in person, and complete the water pump recall. Since I was left in a state of uncertainty regarding the functionality of my vehicle I became forced to pay roughly $1,000 out of pocket for a mandatory free recall. I have yet to be reimburse for any of this cost, and frankly this should not have happened if the OTA process worked AND there were more techs available in the US to help people. I supposedly now have all of the updates for the car and the water pump replaced and this was all supposed to be free. This is on top of the NEW 12V battery I had to buy (another near $300) in order to allow updates to be installed because of the unsafe update process. I urge you to address these pressing issues with the OTA update process promptly. I believe that a more efficient system should be considered. Thank you for taking the time to consider my concerns.

Feb 14, 2025

Based on NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000, 24V405000 and 24V623000, I was supposed to receive over the air updates that was to fix braking issues with my vehicle, as well as other issues with the driver's assistance features. I have not received these updates yet. I do have regular issues with the regenerative breaking cutting out, and would like to receive these OTA updates as soon as possible. According to the Fisker Owners Association: Every week of OTA updates has had vehicles whose owners have reported them as undrivable afterward (~2%-5% usually). Feb 14, 2025

Brakes are a safety issue which should be addressed in 2.2 OTA. Constant ADAS warnings can be a distracting safety issue for partially updated cars. The lack of the legally required pedestrian alert noises are also a safety concern for those around the vehicle. There may be others, of course, but remember we would like the NHTSA to look into the SAFETY RECALL PROCESS. Be sure you have a safety reason to back up your selection.

Feb 14, 2025

Fisker attempted to install a software update (Software OS 2.2) to my vehicle over the air which was intended to address recall number 24V623000. This attempted software update caused the vehicle's 12 Volt battery to drain, resulting in the car activating its low battery audible alarm and damaging the battery requiring me to pay for a new battery and its installation. The software was not successfully installed. Information from others owners indicates that the software update has damaged other cars and that very few of the Fisker Ocean fleet have received the full software update. Also, several of the car's Advanced Driver Assistance System functions remain inoperative, specifically the collision avoidance systems and pedestrian warning systems, raising serious safety issues for the car. The recall 24V623000 remains unaddressed for my vehicle. Recall 24V466000 requires Fisker to test door handles and replace them if faulty. This recall service has not been performed on my car. In December of 2024, the door handle on passenger door on the driver's side of the car failed. When unlocked, the door would not open from either the outside or the inside of the car creating a safety hazard if emergency egress from the vehicle was required. I have received no communication from Fisker on how to satisfy this recall requirement. Fisker has not provided resources or service locations at which this recall can be completed. Recall 24V466000 remains unaddressed for my vehicle. Recall number 24V499000 requires Fisker to replace water pumps that can fail and cause the car to depower and enter "limp mode". Fisker has not contacted me on how to satisfy this recall requirement. Fisker has not provided resources or service locations at which this recall can be completed. Recall 24V499000 remains unaddressed for my vehicle.

Unknown. Have you ever been afraid to drive a new very expensive vehicle? Well I can say with certainty that I have. This is why I could not wait any longer for the recalls to be “taken care of “ through Fisker. I had to pay a past Fisker technician to come to my house to do the recalls. This included almost $300 just for travel fees. Water pump recall 24V499 cost $246.88. Powertrain modules recall 24V404 and Cluster Telltales recall 24V405. Also recall numbers 24V623 and 24V865 for the “new” software recalls. Total cost $199.95 for software update to OS 2.2. I now consider my Fisker Ocean to be the vehicle that it should have been when it was delivered to me. Although now I am having to worry about water getting into some electrical components in the front right wheel well causing electrical components to fail while you are driving the vehicle. I try not to drive it in the rain and only clean it with a waterless cleaner. Lastly, I had my battery replaced (for a cost of $358.95) as the one that was used my Fisker was a below average non trustworthy one.

Urgent Safety Recall Complaint – Lack of Updates & Service Access Dear NHTSA, I am writing to express my serious concerns about the ongoing safety recall process for my vehicle, including NHTSA Recall Campaign Numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. There are currently six active recalls, and I have not received the 2.2 OTA update to address braking system failures, persistent ADAS warnings, and the missing pedestrian alert noise, all of which pose significant safety risks. I have experienced brake slippage and loss of function, especially over rough terrain, which remains unaddressed. ADAS warnings continue to be distracting and dangerous, and the required pedestrian alert sounds are missing. Despite attempted updates, many vehicles, including mine, are still affected. Owners report that 2-5% of vehicles become undrivable post-update, requiring up to 48 hours to install, with some needing another 48 hours for partial fixes. Only 10% of the fleet has been updated successfully after weeks of attempts, and under 30% of updates have fully resolved issues. Adding to the frustration, there are only about 20 service personnel nationwide, with very few traveling to assist affected owners. This leaves many of us without timely support and forced to pay out of pocket for alternative transportation. This process is deeply flawed, and I urge NHTSA to investigate the recall system’s failures, update delays, and lack of adequate service access. These critical safety concerns demand immediate attention. Thank you for addressing this urgent matter. Sincerely,

February 13, 2025 Vehicle is currently "bricked", no response is coming from the car with the fob or proximity unlocking device. This appears to be related to an un-announced over-the air update to the vehicle, which started overnight and without notice. The Brake lights flash periodically and the app on the smart phone do not reflect any of this reality, and also do not unlock the vehicle. Further, the ADAS and brake systems have been glitchy, pulsing the brakes very inappropriately on wet and uneven roads. The ADAS will blink and alert with Sun, Rain, Snow all affecting the system, making for a VERY uncomfortable experience with poor braking management,

Feb 13, 2025

sudden power loss on road and car bricked . this is scary . as per my checks with technician says , this sudden brick is due to some modules issues(PCU/ICU) . water leak under hood and also causing car bricked brake fault . this is very scary we don't know when car suddenly stops while on road

Feb 13, 2025

The brakes will have pressure then go beyond the original stopping point seemingly no to stop the car and first reaction is to press harder which causes the car to stop more abruptly than attended in the situation and causes panic with driver and potential a wreck from behind. ADAS warnings are constantly triggering especially when raining causing me to continuously look at the dash which can be a distracting safety issue. The lack of the legally required pedestrian alert noises are also a safety concern for those around the vehicle. NHTSA recall campaign numbers for the software recalls are 24V865000 and 24V623000

Feb 13, 2025

Feb 13, 2025

I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. The experience I had with my Fisker vehicle following the 2.2 Over-the-Air (OTA) update attempt left my vehicle undrivable. This is leaving me in an inconvenient and frustrating situation. As a result, I had to incur additional expenses to have the necessary safety updates completed to restore my vehicle's functionality. This is far from the experience that I expected when signing up for a free mandated safety recall. Also, Following an attempted OTA software update for the safety recall, I have noticed that the pedestrian alert noises are missing, which poses a significant safety risk not only for those around the car but also for the occupants inside the vehicle. Additionally, I would appreciate any assistance you can offer in resolving my current situation and compensating for the expenses incurred due to this inconvenience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Feb 13, 2025 Crash

NO Recall work performed on my car. Received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V499000 & Recall TSB10032403. NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V623000 (Service Brakes, Electric) Fisker Inc has gone out of business. A mandatory recall has been issued and the bankruptcy court has assigned a trustee to ensure vehicles are updated to version 2.2 to address safety recall issues. The update to 2.2 has been extremely unpredictable and the trustee has not been able to complete this recall. I spent #300 for replace the water pump and another $200 for diagnostic work and there is no fix at the moment for the electric issues with the car (especially ADAS and blind spot) however the trustee is still responsible for rolling out this buggy software and possibly damaging more cars with each remote installation.

Feb 13, 2025

Fisker entered Chapter 7Bankrupty. As part of the court order certain recall work was to be completed and funding was given to do this to a company. I have to date only received partial software updates and not the full requirement of the recall to Software 2.2 that was ordered by the court. I also had to pay out of pocket for a technician to replace by 12V battery because of software issues after partial installation. I have lost mileage distance since the new partial software as well. I paid out of pocket $247 for the required water pump recall and door handle inspections. Plus fees for a mobile technician. This is above the amount Liquidators Trustee is planning to pay of $175 (if they ever do). This car is a safety risk and the Trustee is not making a good faith effort to fix the required recalls. I have not been contacted even one time with a status. The NHTSA needs to force the trustee and bankruptcy judge to intervene.

Feb 13, 2025

I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Multiple attempts of this safety recall have been scheduled over the past several weeks for my vehicle, but the update has yet to be completed. As an owner who values safety and reliability, I am increasingly concerned about the unresolved safety issues that were supposed to be addressed with this software update. To date, I have been disappointed to learn that each week brings reports from fellow vehicle owners indicating that their cars have become undrivable following these updates, with a concerning failure rate of approximately 2% to 5%. I was also alarmed to learn that after five weeks of attempts, only about 10% of the fleet—approximately 300 vehicles—have been successfully updated, despite over 800 VINs submitted for these updates. The lack of service personnel, with only around 20 available nationwide and just five who can travel to address undriveable cars, only adds to the urgency of this matter. It is imperative that this process is reviewed and the underlying safety concerns that have left many of us feeling unsupported and frustrated are resolved in a manner that will be free of cost and successful to the majority of owners. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Vehicle needs software update to 2.2 NHTSA (Campaign Number: 24V405000) but there is no contact regarding when this will happen. The ADAS Warning system has had a warning light on since I received the vehicle. I had to disable audible warnings because they were distracting and dangerous. Also, the vehicle needs a replacement water pump (NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V499000) and measurement of door handles (NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V466000). I have not used the vehicle for long trips for fear of water pump breaking causing me to be stranded. Fisker trustee has not made the recalls noted above available to me as an owner. I've been locked out of my car twice for 30+ minutes. The anxiety of being able to get into the vehicle is unnerving and I can not take my dog with me and leave him in the car as I run errands for fear of not being able to unlock the vehicle when I return, as happened to be in March 2024 and April 2024. The Trustee needs to be forced to provide all owners with the agreed upon recalls before he is freed from the trustee duties. It has been months and there is no contact on how to get these updates. Please help.

Feb 13, 2025

I have all the outstanding issues out on this car and probably more. For example, sometimes the car's brakes will fail and the car can roll away. There are times when the car's regenerative braking is not working properly which decreases braking performance and can lead to a crash. Sometimes I notice that my car has a loss of power, which is concerning as it may cause an accident or worse. My water pump has not been replaced. To my knowledge, my door handles currently are not sticking, but this has not been looked at or addressed. I get constant warning lights alerting me to a safety system either not working or failing if that is even the case. I am still on software 2.0 and have been waiting patiently for the 2.2 update to address many of these issues, but have not been contacted at all from the OTA team to schedule one or been pushed one.

Fisker Inc has gone out of business. A mandatory recall has been issued and the bankruptcy court has assigned a trustee to ensure vehicles are updated to version 2.2 to address safety recall issues. The update to 2.2 has been extremly unpredictable and the trustee has not been able to complete this recall. Of the cars that were updated, mine, almost immediately the estimated range has been reduced drastically. The car was marketed as 360 miles range on 100% charge and now after the update I barely see 190-200 at 100% charge. This occured since the recall update. thats like 40-45% reduction in range costing everyone double the electricity needed to charge the vehicle and everyone I know that got the 2.2 update has been going through this issue. After running a diagnostic with a fisker tech, they mentioned it's a 2.2 update issue and no fix out there yet. However the trustee is responsible to roll this same update to other cars as well that hasn't received it. The tech explained this is occuring due to the rear motor is now throwing "flux error codes" and not functioning properly past 2.2 update which is causing the insane battery drain. In my opinion this is something that needs to be addressed. NHTSA recall campaign numbers for the software recalls are 24V865000 and 24V623000

Lack of Access to Recall Service I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. My vehicle's braking system, particularly as it relates to its performance over rough terrain, has not yet been addressed even though we have attempted updates. I have experienced significant brake slippage and a loss of function, which poses a serious safety risk. As a responsible vehicle owner, I trust that my car should provide a reliable and safe driving experience, especially when navigating challenging conditions. The frequency of reports from fellow owners about their vehicles becoming undrivable after updates—between 2% and 5%—is alarming and prevents me from attempting the recall process again. Knowing that the update process can leave a car unusable for up to 48 hours, and that partial updates might require even more time, adds to my frustration. The statistics shared indicate that only a mere 10% of the fleet has successfully received updates after weeks of attempts, which further highlights the inadequacy of the OTA process. Additionally, I am troubled by the limited availability of service personnel across the country. With only around 20 technicians available nationwide and just a handful traveling to address urgent issues, it is clear that many customers, including myself, may find ourselves in perilous situations without timely support. I cannot afford to wait months for a resolution while I am forced to pay out of pocket for alternative solutions to ensure my vehicle is safe to drive. This situation is unacceptable, and I urge you to take immediate action to address these critical issues. I look forward to a prompt response. Additionally I had to paid for install of recalled water pump as well as purchasing and install of defective door handle light covers. The NFC reader to open the car door is also defective creating a safety hazard.

Given these circumstances, I urge you to address these

Back in June2024 my vehicle was bricked, supposedly by a failed OTA 2.1 update. The PKC ended up needing replaced. By the time I received my car in OCT2024, I was told it had been updated to 2.2 from 2.0 and that there had been checks performed for some recalls. Other expenses related to this adventure include buying a new car, rental car, extra key fob (that ended up not being the problem) and a 200 mile tow. This facility is not a recommended service provider now, and I would not go back personally. Oh course shortly after getting my car back, a technician was coming through our area to help a bricked owner. I figured I would just have a bit or preventative work done, and help the other owners split the costs. Well, upon inspection by the technician the car was not updated to 2.2 at all, only the ECUs visible to me or apps had been updated. My car was still mostly on 2.0 software modules. I ended up paying for the 2.2 update by the experienced technician. As the reimbursement rates for the recalls have just been released, and I have seen the costs of splitting travel AND towing/service center charges, I know that none of the rates will cover any of the services that remain for my vehicle. They will not even cover the travel, let alone the work, even when splitting w/ others. The 2.2 OTA updates are supposed to be free of charge, but require the car to be left untouched for 2 days, have a horrible success rates, have bricked vehicles every single week, and limited information on the process and answer to questions from anyone. Since my car was already bricked once from an OTA, and the risk of needing a tech anyway, I felt I had no choice but to take advantage of the techs experience and get the OTA in person at cost.

I have not received the Fisker 2.2 OTA update that addresses software recalls 24V865000, 24V623000, 24V499000, 24V466000 and especially 24V405000. My wife is very concerned about the reliability of the brakes and the overall safety of our Fisker. Specifically, the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in my vehicle, which has become increasingly distracting and, frankly, dangerous due to the complete lack of 2.2 Over-The-Air (OTA) update is a huge concern. I haven't even receive the OTA update. Additionally, the alarming figures shared indicate that only around 10% of the fleet has been updated in over five weeks, despite submitting over 800 Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs). This inefficiency raises serious questions about the reliability of the process. I urge you to address these issues promptly and transparently. I hope to see improvements regarding the ADAS system and entire process of the OTA safety recalls. Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.

I request that compliance to Fisker Recalls be enforced due failure of Fisker (Bankrupt) , and its OTA team and trustee to pay for water pump recall service and to complete other required other recalls. I have paid out of pocket a service tech $200 for the water pump recall, , $175 plus $25 for mobile/travel fee. The trustees have not been responsive on how to get service or on reimbursements. The OTA team responsible for Software recall work has also been non-responsive. I have received a partial OTA update that does not include any of the components required by the recall work . Also after the bankruptcy , near my home in Arizona, Fisker FAST tools were being used to perform software recall work on cars being transferred to American lease. Fisker employees at the tempe site were unresponsive to have my vehicle updated. And then the Fisker FAST tools for updating software were not left in the Arizona and Nevada area. A Fisker Fast tool should be provided to a regional service tech without cost instead of the rumored $16000 fee being asked by American lease. I recommend the tool be provided free of charge to Chris Peralta, A Fisker trained tech who is authorized by the Fisker Owners Association and who has been performing service work for many vehicle owners in the Arizona and Nevada Areas.

I have three separate issues. 1. When using the Ocean to tow with the OEM, installed from the factory, tow package, using the turn signals while braking will result in no turn signal indication when using a flat 4 adapter. 2. Range of the vehicle has dramatically decreased to the point where range is unpredictable in the Ocean OS 2.2 update. When we used to get over 300 mi of real range on 340 mi estimated, we can no longer get 200 mi on a charge. This can be startling and result in unforeseen out of power conditions while on the road. 3. I have been unable to obtain the recalled cabin water pump which can cause the car to go into limp mode. Shops in the area are quoting more than the advertised $170 that will be paid out for replacement.

The current OTA process, lasting 48 hours, is simply not feasible for those of us who rely on our vehicles for daily activities. The inability to use my vehicle during this window forced me to pay out of pocket for alternative transportation, which is both inconvenient and financially burdensome. Additionally, it has come to my attention that there have been numerous reports from fellow owners indicating that a significant percentage of vehicles (approximately 2%-5%) have become undrivable following these updates. This situation is alarming and raises concerns about the reliability of the updates being delivered. Moreover, the lengthy windows of 48 hours for updates, coupled with the expectation of partial updates requiring additional time, have left many of us in a state of uncertainty regarding the functionality of our vehicles and forced to pay out of pocket for a mandatory free recall. I urge you to

The major issue was related to a braking problem on rough terrain that made the vehicle lunge forward during braking. This was fixed with and OS update, however I was forced to pay out of pocket for the OS 2.2 update that was required by NHTSA and have not been reimbursed. Furthermore, the OS version still states OS 2.1 because only the Fisker OTA team can make that adjustment. According to the Liquidating Trustee’s Designee plans for recall work, a reimbursement of $225 should be available to me.

My car has been completely unusable on and off for the last 9 months. Currently completely underivable and unable to get a software update or service technician to come to my area to work on it. I'm unable to drive my car. I'm paying for alternative transportation every day. I'm unable to trade my car in as it is not currently drivable.

I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the OTA (Over-the-Air) update process for my vehicle. The current OTA process, lasts 48 hours, is simply not feasible for those who rely on the vehicle daily. The inability to use my vehicle during this window would forced me to lose pay and be financially burdensome. Additionally, there have been numerous reports from fellow owners indicating that a significant percentage of vehicles (approximately 2%-5%) have become undrivable following these updates. This situation is alarming and raises concerns about the reliability of the updates. Moreover, the lengthy windows of 48 hours for updates, coupled with the expectation of partial updates requiring additional time, have left many of us in a state of uncertainty regarding the functionality of our vehicles. Water Pump Recall/Door Handles Check Recall These recalls were done as I was scared to be locked in my car. Imagine being stuck in your car. The water pump recall causes the car to slow down and go into "limp mode" meaning I could not go faster than 15mph. This could happen at any time. Imagine driving on the highway and the water pump fails. Scary My vehicle's braking system, particularly as it relates to its performance over rough terrain, has not yet been addressed even though we have attempted updates. I have experienced significant brake slippage and a loss of function, which poses a serious safety risk. As a responsible vehicle owner, I trust that my car should provide a reliable and safe driving experience, especially when navigating challenging conditions.

Feb 12, 2025

My Fisker Ocean still has the 2.0 software, which does not include recall updates. Most concerning is the brake system, which I experience regular "lurching" (MRN: TSB10062408). I will no longer drive the car unless necessary because of the safety concern. In addition to this safety issue, there are several issues that have gone addressed with no apparent recourse to do so, such as: defective AC vent controls, lights that go on randomly in the car, warning lights regularly making audio and visual warnings, key fob not recognized by the car (to start the car), and more. Although reporting the "incident" as today. Issues have been ongoing since the purchase of the car in October of 2023.

Recalls: 24V865000, 24V623000, 24V466000, 24V405000, 24V404000 I'm writing to express my deep concerns regarding issues reflected in above recall campaigns. My car breaking system related to its performance over rough terrain has not yet been addressed. I experience significant brake slippage and loss of function, which is a serious safety risk. I cannot afford to wait months for a resolution while I had to pay out of pocket for alternative solutions to make sure my car is safe to drive. Attached is the invoice reflecting repairs performed and paid out of pocket, specifically for 2.2 software update and water pump replacement. I'm concerned about the limited number of service personnel available in the US. This is unacceptable that I have to pay for necessary updates and repairs. And some of the ongoing issues with brakes and malfunction warnings could not be addressed due to lack of parts, technicians, etc. Thank you for your time to consider my concerns.

Feb 12, 2025

The car automatically brakes falsely, which should have been fixed in an OTA 2.2 recall but hasnt. The ADAS is constantly warning without needing to. It can give ADAS warnings while the car is parked. The car is near undriveable. The recall updates have been partial at best. NHTSA recall 24V865000 and 24V623000 have not been addressed and there's been no attempt to try and fix these issues.

Feb 12, 2025

My car has few safety recalls to be addressed but with the bankruptcy of Fisker, we do not have proper means, parts, and technician to perform the recall fix.

good afternoon. There are several recall items for this car, 2023 Fisker Ocean. None of the recall items have been addressed by FISKER LIQUIDATOR (THEY ARE IN CHAPTER 7) FOR MY CAR. THERE IS A BRAKING RECALL, A WATERPUMP RECALL, AND I BELIEVE A DOOR HANDLE RECALL. ALL OF WHICH , IF NOT TAKEN CARE OF, WILL CAUSE POTENTIAL HARM TO ME AND TO OTHERS ON THE ROAD. IT SEEMS LIKE THERE IS NO OVERSIGHT OF THE LIQUIDATOR AS THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION TO OWNERS ABOUT WHEN THE RECALLS WILL BE ADDRESSED. I LIVE IN FLORIDA, THERE IS NO SHOP DOING RECALL WORK FOR FISKER HERE THAT ISNT ASKING FOR PAYMENT FROM ME AND OTHERS.

Recall 24V865000 24V623000 24V499000 I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000.I hope this message finds you well. I was forced to pay out of pocket to a Former Fisker Tech to come to my house and manually install as well as have a new 12v battery installed costing me a total of $1,262.89. In addition I have not been able to have the water pump recall installed due to no supply and/or service. How is this legal?

Feb 12, 2025

This is an ongoing problem since November 2023 - software was going to fix the problem but updates have stop coming and the problem are still an issue. I had 4 onsite service calls with no issue fixed. This is the 2nd filing for the same issues (6.21.24 first filing) NO RECALLS have been repaired. I also filed in 2024, under the lemon law in CA, with no response. ABS red warning light comes on, navigation no longer works, no service provided in my area and the car, rebooting the main screens 6-10 per week and many of the feature promised were never installed. How do I get this car repaired and recalls fixed?

Feb 12, 2025 Crash

My concern relates to the recall campaign for 24V623000 reduction in regenerative braking. The slow roll out of this campaign caused this unrepaired recall to result in a crash of the vehicle resulting in a complete loss. While driving on a highway in subzero temperatures, the driver let off the accelerator to slow the vehicle around a corner. At this point the vehicle lost the expected braking and began to lose control. This sent the vehicle to understeer and toward oncoming traffic. An attempt to correct sent the vehicle out of control and into a collision with barriers, spinning across the road with the rear door on the driver's side completely ripped from the body. While the driver was not hurt, it is quite possible that a passenger could have been thrown from the vehicle and seriously injured. This is an obvious serious safety risk to not only the occupants of the car, but such loss of control could have resulted in death or serious injury without emergency corrective action and frankly a little luck. It is particularly concerning that very few of these recalls have apparently been addressed. It has been shared that fewer than 10% of the public vehicles have had this issue addressed, months after the recall was announced. I feel that had this issue been addressed in a timely manner this incident would not have occurred and I fear for others that might find themselves in a similar perilous situation.

Feb 12, 2025

Vehicle is stuck in middle of the software update issued. I can't get assistance to fix without a FAST tool to which American leasing is not releasing to Fisker Owners Association or any other shop. Therefore, the recall update has not been completed. I had to pay $330 to have the recalled water pump replaced to which the DOJ stated customers aren't responsible for. I have left messages too. Ongoing intermitting braking conditions....

Feb 12, 2025

Post 2.2 installation to address current recalls, vehicle is experiencing a loss of range. Additionally, installation of the update permanently damaged the 12v battery which required a replacement that I had to pay for out of pocket. 2.2 install process has been inconsistent, and has bricked multiple vehicles.

am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000.

Inability to Schedule Recall Work + Lack of Availability I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. I was also alarmed to learn that after five weeks of attempts, only about 10% of the fleet—approximately 300 vehicles—have been successfully updated, despite over 800 VINs submitted for these updates.

I have not received the promised w2.2 OTA software updates as previously mandated by nhtsa to Fisker. Brakes are an issue that should be addressed in 2.2. Continuing ADAS warnings continually distract when driving. I purchase new FOB and NFC cards, but they need programing. Again, nothing from the company. NHTSA recall campaign numbers for the recalls are 24V865000 and 24V623000 I have been promised software updates yet since last fall, but it appears a low percentage of owners have actually received updates. I do not have a service center near me in Ohio, but the technicians are supposed to come to me to program the FOB, NFC cards, fix door handles as well as make sure the software update gets done. FOA tells me only 30% of updates have been completed. I need action to get receive the proper response to NHTSA mandated fixes. These recalls must be done and done properly.

Can you please correct this?

Feb 12, 2025

I am very concerned about these recalls 24V405 24V404 24V623 and the availability of service providers to preform the corrections as there seems to be only 20 service techs in the whole country. For these free recalls I am told to pay and then get reimbursed (From Who?)I have yet to get on any providers schedule. AS a responsible vehicle owner and operator I am looking for answers and direction to expediting these urgent safety issues.

I have deep concerns over ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign number 4V623000. Specifically, the loss of braking when driving over a rough or bumpy surface. The vehicle will leap forward causing me to slam on the brakes avoiding many close calls. There is a OTA update that is suppose to address this issue but I have not been able to receive these updates. Feb 12, 2025

I am submitting this complaint because my 2023 Fisker Ocean One has not received any of the six NHTSA-mandated recalls, and with Fisker Inc. now bankrupt and unreachable, there is no clear path to getting these critical safety repairs completed. My wife drives this vehicle daily for work, covering approximately 100–150 miles per day, and the ongoing safety concerns pose a serious risk to her and others on the road. The vehicle has multiple serious safety issues that remain unaddressed due to the lack of manufacturer support: Safety features are non-functional – Several critical safety systems are either malfunctioning or have stopped working entirely. NFC Card Reader Failure – The NFC card reader on the door handle has stopped working, making entry into the vehicle unreliable. Vehicle Rolling Over Bumps – The car exhibits an uncontrolled rolling movement when driving over bumps, which creates an unpredictable driving experience and a potential loss of control. Interior Lighting Malfunctions – Various interior lights turn on randomly without user input, which may indicate electrical issues. Given Fisker’s bankruptcy, I am unable to schedule recall repairs, and no official service network exists to address these safety-critical issues. The recalls mandated by the NHTSA must be performed, yet there is no viable path for owners to ensure compliance. This situation presents an urgent safety hazard, and I am requesting immediate guidance on how these safety recalls can be fulfilled to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe for daily use.

There has been several safety recalls for my vehicle that was supposed to be fixed by software updates I cannot drve my vehicle, i have no access to service and no access to these updates

Pump recall (Recall No 24V865) work was done. I paid $340.00 out of pocket for labor to install the [ump. Subsequently, through Fisker Owners Association, I learned that the liquidating trustee decided that the maximum reimbursement is $175.00. Yet, there is no mechanism for filing for and obtaining the refund promised. The fix for the sudden jerking forward of the car with it hits a bump is supposed to be fixed with 2.2 software update. As of the time of filing of this complaint, I have heard nothing from the liquidating trustee as to when this will be installed to my vehicle. I have replaced my old batter with a new one in anticipation of the update.

Vehicle was bricked due to faulty "GATEWAY MODULE" gateway module was fried due to software version 2.2 OTA download. Vehicle was constantly giving false ADAS warnings and also had issues with driver door NFC reader. I have spent $3,869.75 to install new gateway module and manual download of version 2.2 software. What remedy do I have to recover all or portion of money spent to rectify problems?

Feb 12, 2025

NHTSA recall campaign numbers for the software recalls are 24V865000 and 24V623000, or others can be found in this link for 2023 Fisker Oceans [XXX] . I had to pay out of pocket for the water pump recall work (receipts provided in file upload). Also, all the software updates to address software recalls have not been done and i've been waiting. I've been getting constant safety alerts ranging from lane departure, front collision alerts that it is not functioning, constant camera malfunctions not working causing me to risk running into things when backing up because backup camera not working, and the proximity sensors not working half the time. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Feb 12, 2025

Fisker Inc has gone out of business. A mandatory recall has been issued and the bankruptcy court has assigned a trustee to ensure vehicles are updated to version 2.2 to address safety recall issues. The update to 2.2 has been extremely unpredictable and the trustee has not been able to complete this recall. I had to pay $450.00 to complete the software update. I will have to pay an additional $450 to have the water-pump replaced, plus drive 6 hours to closest service center to have the work done. After the software update almost immediately the estimated range has been drastically reduced. The cars were marketed as getting up to 360 miles on 100% charge. Since the recall update, they now get somewhere around 220 miles on a 100% charge. The technician that completed my update analyzed it with approved Fisker software, and he found that the rear motor is now throwing “flux error codes” and not functioning properly. This is causing an electrical issue draining the batteries much quicker than they should be. there is no fix at the moment however the trustee is still responsible for rolling out this buggy software .

1. I received letter about safety recall campaign TSB10062408 - Breaking improvement software update in September 2024. Later Fisker released software version 2.2 for the recall. However It is Feb. 2025 now, I still have not received software update (via their OTA system). 2. I having brakes issues. Brakes does not work sometimes and also it suddenly loses grip during bumpy ride. Below are the recalls which happened last year which Fisker did not fix yet. 1. Water Pump replacement: Fisker did not replace water pump for me and I had to pay out of pocket to get it replaced by third party technician. 2. Software update 2.2 to fix brake issues: I did not receive any updates and per Fisker mail notice, they said that they will fix it by end of Dec 2024. I tried to reach them to the phone number which they gave but there is no response from them. Attached the water pump replacement invoice.

I had to take private services and pay money to get software update done. Of the cars that were updated, like mine, almost immediately the estimated range has been drastically reduced. The cars were marketed as getting up to 360 miles on 100% charge. Since the recall update, they now get somewhere around 220 miles on a 100% charge. That’s more than 100 miles lost. I had a technician analyze it with approved Fisker software, and he found that the rear motor is now throwing “flux error codes” and not functioning properly. This is causing an electrical issue draining the batteries much quicker than they should be. I spent $1000 for diagnostic work and there is no fix at the moment however the trustee is still responsible for rolling out this buggy software and possibly damaging more cars with each remote installation.

Experiencing issues with water pump recall, 9 volt battery needing to be replaced due to recall work, door handle safety issues (the NFC on driver door does not work and vehicle will not open the door if remote is dead), I had to pay out of pocket for recall repairs

Feb 12, 2025

while entering a freeway the car in front braked suddenly and in the process of braking in response our Fisker did its characteristic "chatter" as the ABS first activated and then stopped braking all together causing us to hit the car ahead. Had the brakes not misbehaved the turning movement to avoid the impact would have allowed the collision to be avoided. Our Tbox has not worked since getting the car. Numerous fixes before Fisker went bankrupt did not remain in place and the navigation map has been useless. But much worse is that bc the Tbox is not working we are unable to get the OTA update and must pay for a manual update which has been quoted at $450, PLUS the cost of getting the Tbox reset and equipped with a resettable fuse (another $250).

Feb 12, 2025

I have several recalls on this vehicle that have yet to be preformed due to lack of Fisker helping with the cost of recalled items.

Feb 12, 2025

I received a notification for a recall for the water pump many months ago. To this day, the water pump has not been replaced. No one has reached out to me to set up the recall repair. I have tried to find local car repair shops, but they won't do it as it is part of a national recall. Also, the ADAS system is constantly malfunctioning, giving errors like collision warning not working, lane assist not working, blind spot monitoring not working. This has been a problem since I received the car. Adaptive cruise control has never worked. The braking system was supposed to be fixed with the 2.2 software update. It seemed to work for a few weeks, now the original problem is back where the braking regeneration turns off suddenly causing the car to lose control. This happens at random.

NHTSA recall campaign numbers for the software recalls are 24V865000 and 24V623000, or others can be found in this link for 2023 Fisker Oceans [XXX] . I have had 1 failed OTA attempt. So far OTA updates have not been completed on my car and when I've asked around at shops, they have said that my car may be undrivable. I only have this one and need it and can't afford to have it in the shop or pay for a rental. I also don't have a 48-hour window for the update to actually happen. The shops near me are asking me to pay, and I should not have to pay for this service. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Good afternoon, I am filing another complaint per Jayson Winick's recommendation. Fisker had a number of recalls. When I tried to contact Fisker upon first receiving the notices, the company's e-mail and phone numbers became disconnected. Now, the company is bankrupt and there is no one at Fisker to fulfill the recalls that need to be completed on my vehicle. I'm most concerned about the recalls pertaining cooling units, braking issues and exterior door handles. I continue to face dangerous issues that remain unresolved. My A/C only works sporadically, especially dangerous with kids in the vehicle when it is hot. The brakes continue to give out and the vehicle lurches forward when braking when encountering uneven roads. And sometimes the exterior door handle seem to jam resulting in the door not being able to open. Currently, the Fisker Owners Association is running the show, but will not provide information on resolving recalls to non-paying members. How do I go about getting these recalls resolved? Thank you!

Jan 13, 2025 Crash

I was scheduled to receive the 2.2 software update November 12 and noticed a low voltage battery warning some time earlier in the day, November 11 - this is not the main battery, as it was charged around 70%. Was this related to the download maybe? From reading threads, the best way to charge is to drive, so I went for a drive through local parks for about 30 minutes. Fast forward to later that night and I was driving home and received the warning again, but this time in a more critical fashion (beeps, red caution blinking, etc) and then a couple seconds later while turning on a bend the car totally shut down, the wheel locked up, breaks activated in full and I slid straight into the curb and got a flat tire and broke the wheel on the axel. Thankfully I was alone and was not hurt, and only going about 20 mph, but it could have been a lot worse. The car has not been online since as I haven't had time to charge the 12 volt, and the main battery will not charge because the cabin does not have power. Any advice on how to file a complaint, or next steps? I would love to be able to prove this with the logs or events within the car computer if I was ever able to power it back on again. At this point, the vehicle is a death trap.

There has been no OTA software updates issued to this date for my vehicle. I'm currently on 2.0 awaiting 2.2 update. Because of this I still have issues with braking, rolling while in park, and random and unexpected shutdowns of the vehicle while driving. Complete car system failure, recently when my car locked out the technician came out and replaced the 12v battery and clean out electrical connectors and still car doesn't start. I pressed the brake to wake/start the car and the car shuts down after trying to start. The wipers wipe a couple times while it boots up and then the car shuts off. The car is charged to 80% . THIS IS A VERY UNSAFE VEHICLE

Dec 21, 2024 Crash

Vehicle was on software version 2.0 which solely contributed to this problem. I had a front passenger tire have a catastrophic failure and blow out on me while driving, this causes the car to pull hard to the right, into a concrete wall. Compounding this problem was I let off the throttle and the regen braking never kicked in to slow the car down. Software version 2.0 was known to be flawed and cause excessive tire wear and regen braking issues, which is what I believe happened. The result of the crash was minor cosmetic flaws, but due to the inability to gather parts the insurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss. There have been several other occurrences of this happening and I believe the car is a serious safety hazard to those who drive it and others on the road.

1. The HOLD hill feature for the brakes is now not working. After the first software update it started to work but now since the second recent software update, the "hold" feature stopped working and the car slides backwards causing me to slam on the brakes creating extreme safety concerns for myself (the driver and my daughter who I don't allow in the car anymore). There were no warning lights for this problem which occurred when I bought the car before the first software update and again after the most recent update. The manufacturer no longer exists to check our cars which are supposed to be under warranty. I do not trust my safety or anyone elses in this car anymore. 2. Electrical system- (All summer 2024) the car overheats and stops working completely when the temperature is in the high 90's. The car loses power and slows down to a complete stop. I was in the middle of the road when this happened and had to wait for over an hour for it to cool down to restart on multiple dates in the summer; I stopped driving it when I realized it was the heat. I can no longer drive it when the weather is hot which occurred throughout the LA summer. 3. Malfunctioning Seatbelt:11/1/2024 to present-the back right seat belt does not retract automatically and was this way whenever my daughter was in the car. I thought she had done something to it to make it stop working but I have now found out many Fisker owners have experienced the same problem. The right seatbelt is non-functioning and not safe. I no longer will take passengers in the back seat due to this known issue.

Regarding the brake issue, it occurred twice recently: once on [XXX] while slowing down to turn into a plaza, and again on [XXX] when reversing out of my driveway. The car shook when the brakes engaged, which made me feel unsafe. This problem has occurred before and was previously fixed by a technician, but it has recurred. Additionally, my AC vent emits a loud whistle when the AC is turned on, my right driver-side rear mirror makes noise when locking and unlocking the car. Still waiting for my third work order. Was driving at approx 40 mph, car shut off completely but was able to get off to the side of a main road. No one was injured and no accident, however, this car is an absolute mess, is completely unsafe and none of them should be on roads, anywhere. I am supposed to get a recall OTA update, but I have no connectivity, no one can fix it, and I cannot get the necessary recall update. However, I do not trust that OTA even if I could get it. Some owners are getting this necessary OTA pushed to their vehicles and it is bricking them. Everything with these cars should be investigated, including, American Leasing and FOA (Fisker Owners Association) as they are collaborating with each other to push these OTAs to peoples vehicles, and neither of them are car makers, manufacturers, or auto companies.

Nov 20, 2024

I have emailed the support department several times, but I have received automated messages with no answers. This list was sent to Fisker within three months of owning the vehicle. *1. Our vehicle powered off on its own as I was about to leave my house, and then the battery light on the dash came on. This happened two times! 2. I have replaced the key fob's battery 10 times since we acquired the car on [XXX]. I was left stranded in a parking lot. 3. This vehicle is our primary family vehicle, and our [XXX] and [XXX] ride in the back. Their backseat safety belts continuously keep getting stuck and won't retract. 4. Door handles don't retract. 5. The vehicle keeps rolling backward or forward when in the park. I almost rolled back at the school pickup line and hit the car behind me. I have to keep pressing the brake pedal while waiting to move. *6. The Brakes are squeaking on and off while driving around the city at low speeds. The brakes take a long time to engage and don't stop right away. 7. The vehicle started making beeping sounds suddenly, and no lights were on the dashboard to indicate the cause of the beeps. 8. The back of the car gets very hot, as the ceiling vents by the passenger lights do not have any airflow. Is that only decorative? The only vents that work are the small ones on the center console pointing to the back. It gets very stuffy, and my kids get carsick. 9. We ordered winter tires and never received them but paid for them. 10. The air vents in the front console are broken. The tech who came to perform the first software update reported the issue and requested a repair ticket. There have been no updates. 11. The tires have unusual wear and tear for a car under 6 months, they are bald. 12. I didn't feel safe in this car, and it was parked in my driveway. Fisker support won't reach back to us and we don't know where to take it for service. 13. ADAS warning lights turn on all the time. On 11/13 4 pm (PST), my car received an OTA update for 2.2 Software which provides the correction for unexpected reduction in regenerative braking, NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V623000. However, the update has made the car non-operational. At present, the car is unable to turn on, doors are locked and are unresponsive to the keyfob. In summary, the OTA 2.2 has made a car which was operational to non-operational. Since the Fisker is bankrupt, there is no way to contact them or any other relevant authorities to fix my car. Hope NHTSA can help out as these OS updates are causing cars to become non-operational rather than fixing the issue !

These are some of the recall issues with the Fisker Ocean. These problems can be fixed with an OTA software update, however, this update is being blocked/suspended by company that is controlling Fisker. I cannot safely drive my vehicle until the recalls are resolved

A recall has been sent to me to me to repair an error in the communication pump with the electric water pump that manages the cabin system. I tried to call the manufacturer but no answer and no dealers know anything about the car.

Oct 27, 2024

Unknown - Brakes do not work properly when going over rough pavement (regen braking seems to pause). This is a known issue and is supposed to be fixed with an OTA software update. This is a three part update. My car received the first two parts fine, but the third part has never arrived. My understanding this that Fisker has stopped sending out the updates. I need this fixed on my car before an accident happens. Please make sure they are getting the updates out to everyone that needs them. Thank you.

I have received recall notices in July of this year (Campaign Number: 24V405) and in September of this year (Campaign Number: 24V623) promising to fix everything from braking to warning lights. NOTHING has been fixed yet! How can the NHTSA be placated by a car company that sends out official recall notices and does nothing to fix the problems! Please hold Fisker accountable!!!!

A few times when I drive to a stop light/sign, the SUV engages the parking brake without my input, unlocks the door and prevents the vehicle from being driven, unless I reengage the gear back to drive. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it does not work right away and takes a few times to shift the gear. Seems to be getting worst. One time on 10/17/2024 at my work parking lot, I forced the SUV to drive by stepping firmly on the accelerator while brakes are still gripping the rotor. The EV moved slowly forward, stalled and refused to reverse. There were a couple of vehicles behind me waiting for me to move out of their way. It took a while but few minutes later, it was back to normal. I'm able to disengage the brake for some reason and drive. This isn't the first time that this happened, although this is my worst experience with the EV at this time.In addition, I have other problems with the vehicle relating to recalls. I kept getting letters from Fisker about the recalls and told me to report them to you. I'm unable to contact manufacturer as their phone number doesn't work. Fisker has filed for bankruptcy. The recalls are mostly same as being reported by other owners of these vehicles.

The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 24V499000(Electrical System) and  24V623000(Service Brakes, Electrical System); however, the parts to do the recalls repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted and informed the contact that they could not assist. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue because the manufacturer was unreachable via phone number and online request form. The contact had not experienced a failure.

The contact used the supercharger, but it failed to fully charge the vehicle and took 23 hours. The main screen failed to turn on. While driving at undisclosed speeds, the brake pedal was depressed, and the vehicle began to shake. There were no warning lights illuminated. There was an abnormal alarm sound heard. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and email but failed to respond. The failure mileage was unknown.

I received five recall notices but can not get a response from the manufacturer. Many of the recalls are software related and are supposed to be handled by a software update. Others require on site maintenance. The number for Fisker in the recall notice is a non-working number as far as i can tell. I need the manufacturer to contact me and after many attempts, am asking for your assistance to contact Fisker and have them respond to me. Thanks for your assistance.

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed and driving over a pothole or an object on the roadway, with the brake pedal depressed, the vehicle experienced independent acceleration. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to unlock all doors while the vehicle was occupied, and the contact was trapped inside of the vehicle for several minutes. No warning lights were illuminated. The failures occurred on several occasions. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V623000 (Service Brakes, Electric). The contact attempted to contact Fisker Customer Service; however, the contact received no response. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was driven back to the residence. The contact stated that there were no local Fisker dealers nearby. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,300.

Brake pedal fell apart, car is 10 months old, garage kept with only 1800 miles. I fon't even use brake that much, high regen brakes stop car. its a safety issus if it falls apart while avoiding an accident, you foot could slip off pedal as rubber just falls to pieces.

Sep 1, 2024

Brake pedal cover is falling apart after less than 7,000 miles and 8 months of owning the new car. A number of other owners have also had their brake pedal covers fall apart with low miles, use of the car.

Aug 29, 2024

I have had numerous problems (loss of regen braking, unnecessary auto braking, ADAS failure, loss of informational displays, power problems, etc, etc, etc) with this car since delivery in October 2023, and none have been resolved by the manufacturer. I have been notified of 4 or 5 safety recalls for this car (unsure why your website says there are none when I entered the VIN), none have been addressed by the company, and all contact methods with Fisker seem to be disconnected/unanswered. I don’t know how to get help. I don’t know how safe/reliable these cars are to have on the roads. Please - I hope it’s time for the federal government to intervene and get these cars off the road and help the owners get compensation. It feels like the customers are the last to be helped during Fisker’s bankruptcy. Thank you.

Aug 25, 2024

I pressed the brake pedal and the brake pedal material disintegrated leaving a jagged pedal with bare metal exposed. Luckily I was able to stop without an accident.

Aug 23, 2024

Car has on three occasions unexpectedly shifted into Park and applied parking brake while sitting at stoplight, creating a stalled-vehicle hazard to vehicle occupants and other drivers. Brakes lurch going over bumps and have on two occasions not been able to stop the vehicle before entering intersections because of this problem. Car is currently on software version 2.0 and bricked in garage as it will not shift into Drive or Reverse. There is no way to contact Fisker for assistance and no way to have car diagnosed/repaired.

I own a 2023 Fisker Ocean One. Regenerative brake and normal brake usually lose control when the vehicle driving through a bumpy surface. The vehicle loses the ability to slow down and brake seems to be released. This is an obvious manufacturer defect and increase the risk of accident when the vehicle is failed to stop when it needed to be. I urge to speed up the recall process to have this defect ratified as it is not safe to drive.

Aug 19, 2024

If I am applying the brakes and I hit a bump in the road, like going over train tracks, the brakes release and I have to reapply my brake pedal. This is very dangerous. If there is a car in front of me and this happens, I may not be able to stop in time. An example, if I am coming downhill to stop behind other cars and I hit a pothole in the road, my brakes would release and unless I act fast, the care could move forward into another car.

Aug 14, 2024 Crash

While braking the car hit a bump causing car to lurch forward and hit a car infront of me

Aug 14, 2024

Brake system malfunction. Drive motor malfunction. 12v battery always low causing the car lock out or lock inside

Aug 13, 2024

Fisker improved the issue when driving over a bumpy road the regen braking releases lurching the car forward but this has still not been fully fixed even in version 2.1 of the software. I still have this happen and it is very dangerous when the braking releases and then you have to slam on the brakes. The brakes at this point are already engaged so the car does not stop quick enough to avoid an accident.

Aug 1, 2024

The rubber on the brake pedal is deteriorating and eroding after only 2800 miles driven. It looks like it will soon fall off. This needs to be replaced addressed asap as other Fisker owners are experiencing the same issue

Aug 1, 2024

When braking and encounter an uneven/rough surface or a surface of a different amount of traction, the brakes "disengage" and the vehicle coasts for a short period until the brakes re-engage. This is a very disconcerting feeling and negatively effects the braking effectiveness and distance. Apparently a software update was supposed to address the issue, however, I am currently on version 2.0 and I still experience the issue. The incident happens on a regular basis since I took delivery of the vehicle on 1/11/24. The incident happens at all speeds.

CAMPAIGN TSB70062403 & TSB70062404 - Manufacturer has not corrected open recalls for my vehicle. In addition to above open recalls, Issue 1: Faulty air vents - cooling system is dampened due to vents that cannot be opened without breaking them manually. Replacement vents and service has not been given by Manufacturer. Issue 2: Leakage from cooling system while the car is standstill. There are signs of liquid dripping from the underbody. A/C unit is not functioning as performant as it was in previous months. The A/C unit requires to be run on LO with high fan speed to even have a chance at cooling the vehicle. Manufacturer has a water pump recall and has not serviced my vehicle.

Jul 27, 2024

I have several service issues that were reported to Fisker starting with the day the vehicle was delivered. - locking/unlocking/ starting car issues - sensors continually providing error messages inaccurately - bumper distant control not working - windows not lowering in rear - interior lights randomly turning on - mudflaps missing - electric tow hitch never delivered - emergency braking system engaging erroneously - car going into park erroneously - navigation sometimes not working - car not charging properly - app not working - remote unlock/ lock feature sometimes not working - WiFi never enabled - charging credits never delivered

Jul 25, 2024

Braking issues related to regenerative braking configuration. When coming to a stop, rough terrain caused the vehicle to temporarily lose braking power, causing the vehicle to thrust forward as if it hit a patch of ice. Fisker has acknowledged the issue previously and stated a software update (1.1X) would solve the braking issue, however I can confirm this is not the case. Currently on 2.0 and the issue still remains. There are several spots on my daily route that cause the vehicle to lose regen/braking. Recently I was approaching a stop light and, while braking, hit a crack in the road that caused a loss of braking power and threw me into the intersection before braking was reactivated. Luckily there was no cross traffic and no one was hurt.

Jul 22, 2024

While stop at a traffic light, the car reverted from hold status to emergency parking. It did cause the driver behind me to stop on their brakes to avoid an accident. Luckily this happened at a dead stop and not while the car is in motion. I had to push the emergency brake switch and I cycle from drive and park few times to get the car moving again. Also, while backing up, the car did the same thing when put in reverse, it shifted to emergency parking and required pushing the emergency parking switch and cycling from park to drive to reverse to get moving again. No dealer had confirmed problems but it has occurred twice since purchasing car from dealer over a month ago. Many warnings lights every time car is driven 1.Brake system failed, needs service 2. Charge port door open. Even though it’s closed. 3. Front right drl light issue. 4. If I drive in dark then front collision not working, blindspots not working drive carefully. 5. Back up camera goes out. 6. Key fob battery low or not detected. Even though battery was changed.

Jul 18, 2024

When breaking and going over a bump on the road, the breaking ceases to work and the car lunges forward. This is a consistent issue since obtaining the car in March and has almost caused accidents.

Jul 12, 2024

Consistently have "brake system failure message" upon start of car every day. Also, have been locked inside the car multiple times. Also, consistently see every day, "charge port door open" even though the charge port door is closed. Both the driver screen and the infotainment screen have gone dark while I was driving for about 2 secs and then it comes back on. This has happened once. Collision warning goes and the car abruptly will sound the alarm and there is nothing in front to cause alarm. Every week, receive the ADS warning that the system is unavailable

Jul 10, 2024

When braking, if the car hits a bump, the brake temporarily disengages, even though your foot remains on the brake. It happens for a split second and then the brake re-engages but, during that time, the car is not braking at all. It is highly dangerous, particularly as one exits the highway onto an off ramp. This has happened ever since I owned the car but felt I was perhaps imagining it.

Jul 10, 2024

The car's breaking system momentarily loses breaking power when approaching a red light or stop sign AND the car hits a pothole or bump in the road.

Jul 10, 2024

1.“Brake system failure “ warning has been com By on since I received the vehicle in November 2023, Fisker techs have been out 4 times to fix but it keeps happening. 2.Door locks- I have been trapped in the car and another incident that my [XXX] son was trapped in the car, on video my sons incident. Again, Fisker had been out 4 times to ny house and the doors are still malfunctioning I can’t get the car open and being trapped in the car and the car is off, we live in Florida and it’s crazy hot. 3. Lane Departure assistance and drivers bound spot assistance are malfunctioning and warning lights coming on constantly. Reported faults with vehicles resulting in unintended reverse movement and an inability to move forward while in drive on a slight slope. Car would roll back even when the accelerator was nearly floored on a slight incline. Car was rolling backwards towards the edge of a cliff on a very narrow road despite multiple attempts of accelerating in drive. Reported and logged with company. Numerous counts of braking failure (unreliable regenerative breaking). Regen braking would give out unexpectedly multiple times even after software updates that were claimed by Fisker to fix the issue. This drastically impacts the braking ability of the car, safety and reliability. Regen braking inconsistencies and automatic emergency braking faults continued to occur. Aforementioned vehicle failures resulted in collision damage at low speed resulting in car being "totaled" in part due to lack of parts/service infrastructure.

As you know, there are 4 recalls on the Fisker Ocean. 1. Vehicle shifts into park on its own. 2. Door handles have a recall that prevent exiting the vehicle. 3. I was made aware through the internet that my vehicle was subject to a recall due to Incorrectly Displayed Warning Lights/FMVSS 135,101, NTHSA Campaign Number 24V405000 and Loss of Power, NHTSA Campaign Number 24V40400. The recall notice indicated that a software update to 2.1 was to be completed by June 30, 2024. To date, no software update has been received. 4. The latest recall, the water pump that cools the battery, which will fail and cause the vehicle to not be able to be driven. Fisker needs to be held to account to resolve these issues as public safety is at stake with any number of failures that could occur causing injury or death of the occupants of the vehicle or others around the vehicle. The NHTSA should be involved in the Fisker, Inc. Chapter 11 bankruptcy to enforce the safety repairs of these vehicles.

While driving the vehicle the main control screen randomly goes blank. This screen controls regenerative braking levels, volume of radio making it impossible to turn the volume down if needed to hear emergency vehicles etc. The vehicle has also locked and refused to unlock the doors trapping people inside. The key fob or trying to open the door from the inside has not worked when these situations happen. The only thing that has worked is to call customer support and have them remotely open the doors. Customer support is no longer answering calls.

I have several service tickets open for my Fisker Ocean One that have not been addressed, many going back over 3 months. 1 - the vents on my Ocean are malfunctioning. They were supposed to have been replaced before the car was delivered to me in October 2023, but they were not. 2 - the car has randomly put itself into park on several occasions while I've been driving. It has happened while I have been backing out of my driveway, stopped at a red light, or simply driving down the road. 3. I have experienced issues with the windows and sunroof not working, such as not rolling up or down. Sometimes I have to press buttons multiple times to get a window to close. Buttons only work sporadically. 3 - 8 days ago, I received an over the air update, as required for the last Ocean recall (for which I did NOT receive the letter supposedly mailed by Fisker), and my car will no longer go into gear. It has been sitting in my garage for over a week; local and mobile techs working with a software engineer are unable to fix the issue. The diagnostic software indicates that there are no problems or errors with the car, but it will not go into any gear at all. Fisker no longer employs customer service representatives, so there is no one to answer emails, assign tickets, or respond to social media, which was the only way an owner could get in touch with the company. Furthermore, there is no one left to answer the phones, including the number that has been given regarding the 3 active car recalls. The majority of service tech have been laid off with the bankruptcy filing, and the handful that are left in the country have been directed not to assist current customers, but rather to devote their time to preparing remaining inventory for sale. My car will not move. If it did, I still have the other issues pending that have yet to be addressed.

Jun 28, 2024

Car abruptly stopped for no reason on June 2. Thankfully I was pulling into a driveway, so only decelerated from 10mph, but still scared my kids. Blind spot detection and door open assist stopped working in January. Automatic wipers have never worked, ADAS Warning light has been on since January. GPS will stay on a single location for weeks at a time and not move. All of those have some level of safety risk with brakes and blind spot being the worst. Also, the rear quarter panel windows do not open as they should. All problems still exist and Fisker has made no attempts to fix, nor have they responded to over 20 service requests / interactions, nor to requests for solution from the Ohio AG office other than confirmation of email receipt. Was told a tech would be dispatched ASAP in January and I am still waiting with zero response from Fisker to multiple emails since then.

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, warning lights displaying incorrect warnings were illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V405000 (Electrical System). The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the braking system disengaged, causing the vehicle to move forward. The contact attempted to notify the manufacturer of the failure, however; had been unable to reach a representative. The failure mileage was approximately 150.

Jun 27, 2024 Crash

The regenerative braking is not occurring once removing the foot from accelerator, when driving over uneven or bumpy surface. In fact the car accelerates on it's own which several times lead to collision.

Jun 26, 2024

Brakes give out and car shoots out forward when using “high” regenerative breaking. This is a continual problem, happening many times almost causing crashes.

Jun 24, 2024

Car suddenly slams into park, while driving. Also will not go into gear. Gear selector error message. No service available at this time. Needs a recall for new software update please.

Jun 23, 2024

1) when car is braking (whether it’s with foot on brake or using regenerative braking) and it goes over uneven road (example: manhole cover, pothole, uneven bricks, or anything that is not smooth pavement), the car stops braking and lurches forward. Driver has to push very hard on brake pedal to resume braking and sometimes requires fighting against the car to get it to stop. In addition to that, there are frequent warnings that various ADAS systems are not working. They go on and off and are unrelated to weather conditions and whether the car is dirty or not.

Jun 19, 2024

My vehicle locks the brakes momentarily and repeatedly when I brake hard on a slippery or uneven surface, especially when moving downhill. It appears this safety issue is already the subject of an open NHTSA investigation, NHTSA Action Number: PE24001. I can confirm the existence of the defect involved in this invedtigation.

Jun 18, 2024 Crash

I was merging on to Interstate 5 when the vehicle in front stopped very hard to avoid hitting construction equipment that had likely fallen off a truck. I was not able to stop the car in time as the brakes seemed to not be effective. The collision warning braking system did not activate. The airbags did not activate which surprised the Highway Patrol and collision center personnel.

Jun 18, 2024

I do have a lot of problems with my FOO, but three month already, still no one comes to help me. 1, the reverse camera screen is not working. 2,Another issue is that the sensors on the left and right sides of the car are constantly lit up. 3,The headlights stay on when the car is in motion but turn off when stopped, and cannot be turned off. 4,Additionally, there is a wind noise coming from the top of the car above the rearview mirror. 5, the light in the rear passenger seat intermittently turns on and cannot be turned off. 6, The brakes vibrate when you brake, and they also vibrate when you accelerate. 7, driver side screen shows the issues I have not ideal what are they?

Jun 18, 2024

The vehicle is currently running the 1st half of 2.0. When pressing the brake or having the regen braking kick in to work towards a stop, if going over a bumpy surface, the braking will disengage and the car will lunge forward. This behavior has led to several near accidents where you are trying to come to a stop but the car lurges forward for a second. This requires you to have additional stopping distance to account for the potential the car will lose braking for a moment. This was communicated to be fixed by Fisker thanks to several compaints to the agency. However, this was clearly not fixed.

Jun 16, 2024

When coming to a stop, the brakes “slip” causing the braking distance to increase. This significantly increases the potential of a crash. Secondly, the car puts itself in PARK and engages parking brake when at a stop sign or traffic light. This significantly increases the potential of a crash. Thirdly, the display panel notes a brake system and ADAS malfunction while driving. Lastly, the driver’s side rear taillight of the vehicle doesn’t work and requires new part to fix it - which isn’t available. This significantly increases the risk of a crash.

Jun 16, 2024

Several potential dangerous situations have occurred with this car. 1. Brakes often fail on first attempt, only stops with pumping them. 2. Car randomly swerved to right twice, each time stopping by hitting something. 3. Car has locked itself and am unable to unlock with key fob, had to manually force it open. 4. Accelerator pedal has weird clicking to it. 5. Strange cracking sound from solar roof. It is impossible to get any type of service for this car as Fisker is unresponsive to phone calls or email attempts. The tech in the Delaware region has been terminated and since the car is undeliverable it is impossible to get to the closest one which seems to be Atlanta. No way of knowing if they will ever service the car.

Jun 13, 2024

On June 8th my husband was driving the car for the first time and when he was coming to a stoplight the regen braking was active, he hit a bump a grinding noise was made, and it lurched us forward and put the car in park. My husband was confused and asked me how often the car does that, and it does it every time I drive it that I have just had to learn to try and compensate for it so that I do not get into an accident. What else am I supposed to do, it's the primary vehicle.

Jun 12, 2024

Common issue that many have reported - when braking, if there is a change in traction, the brakes release momentarily and the car takes a longer distance to stop. There is one place on my daily drive where it happens consistently and I can reproduce at will.

Jun 12, 2024

I have sent two service requests to Fisker Inc. for a critical safety failure. The rear drivers side door will not unlock. I have verified it is not in child lock. If I ever have to access my grandkids quickly, it will become a serious situation. I have also sent Fisker a video of the problem. There are other multiple issues with this 6 month old vehicle. Key fob does not work as intended. Car will go into Park on its own. Driver attn. camera never worked. Rear cabin light stays on. Multiple other software issues.

Jun 11, 2024

numerous occasions of collision warning braking system activating, sometimes applying brakes, and sometimes just the warning. Alternatively, initial attempts of braking do not work, and only releasing the brake pedal and reapplying will initiate actual braking. Six examples with date, time, and location via maps pin have been provided to Fisker. They attempted to reset software once, but even as the problem persists ,they have not re-assessed the vehicle. most severe example listed below.

Jun 7, 2024

I am not sure if this involves the breaking system or the suspension system. However, my car is on 2.0 software. Whenever the break is applied on un-even pavement while pressing the break pedal, the breaking fails very briefly but enough for the car to lunge forward. This happens repeatedly. The two most scary moments both involved speed-bumpers in the road. I did not see a pedestrian entering into a cross walk on [XXX] . The cross-walk was guarded by a road bumper, I quickly applied the break but the car lurched forward. Luckily I did not strike the pedestrian. The second time occurred when leaving the parking garage of [XXX] yesterday. When exiting the garage there is a bumper on the exit ramp, I applied the breaks but the breaks failed and I hit the side walk. This caused damage to both rims on the passenger side. Jun 4, 2024

After reporting multiple times to Fisker about the Brake pedal, which is very loose (lots of gap between the pedal resting position to the braking , no response from them. I have several incidents about stopping the car, either delayed response or sudden stopping which makes it unpredictable. Needs immediate attention to fix the brake pedal.

Jun 3, 2024

5 times going over bump regen braking goes off but hard to still have the car brake even stepping on braking. And couple times car detects something ahead and applies emergency braking but nothing or no one was anywhere near by

May 30, 2024

When a small bump happens in the road while braking, the brakes fail momentarily and the car keeps moving forward. Something is not right.

Unable to Start Fisker Ocean One with FOB vehicle continues to state "battery low" and NFC on FOB not functioning. Fisker Ocean One sits dead unable to start or function for hours leaving the driver stranded. Contacted Fisker Ocean Customer Support who were unable to define or help why this is occuring? Fisker Ocean One strands driver anywhere and anytime as you may drive and then stop or get halted and then unable to get the vehicle to start up and have to sit stranded until vehicle will start back up at "random unknown timeframes".

May 24, 2024

Fisker Ocean One has less than 6K mileage and breaking system is extremely rough and makes lots of noise and squeaks, clash, etc. with abrupt halt sometimes throwing passengers forward. Fisker Ocean One User Instructions do not correspond correct with the actual user vehicle interface as items are missing or not available on the vehicle to correct safety issues per manual vehicle instructions per ADAS instructions therefore vehicles onboard computer is not able to be adjusted. Vehicle will speed up at time and or slow down on own just by barely touching vehicles accelerator driver having to hit brake quick as to not accidently hitting someone infront or trying to speed up as to not going to slow. When barely touching brake pad vehicle does brake abrupt will throw passengers forward. Have spoken and placed multiple tickets with Fisker for many issues on the vehicle for electrical, vehicle shutdown, battery problems and more. Yes available for inspection request. Problem has been reproduced on a daily basis and reported to Fisker. Vehicle has been inspected by Fisker customer support once and was told an update is coming to fix issues however until issues are fixed drivers will have to be careful and maneuver while driving. Fisker Ocean One warnings pop up continuously on my vehicle on the drivers screen nonstop from the time I step into the vehicle until I step out of the vehicle and lock the door. Warnings showed up on the Fisker Ocean One immediately when Fisker dropped the vehicle off at my home and I immediately began to contact Fisker Customer Support from day one with started DEC 2023

We are getting a grinding noise when vehicle is decelerating, when re-gen is engaged but the vehicle is going over pot holes , the re-gen releases the brakes and the vehicle rolls off, you don’t feel any deceleration anymore it has cause many scary situations, it feels like the vehicle is loosing the brakes. Also one our passenger s noticed the seatbelts are not retracting, I have placed several tickets with Fisker and we get no response, no contact, we have tried calling the phones and nothing, we have tried their chat service, nothing…

May 15, 2024

Fisker’s long-awaited 2.0 software update failed to correct the frequent failures of emergency braking and regenerative braking (ADAS features such as lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, forward facing camera are also regularly malfunctioning) two new problems presented themselves; the car will throw itself into park apparently when it registers a traffic light shift from red to green (as I have been waiting at a light all 4 times this has happened it puts me in danger of rear end collisions) and the downward motion of the brake in one instance was limited to about 1/2” meaning all braking I did was done in short quick choppy bursts. The pedal felt like it was pressing down on something stuck beneath it (there wasn’t anything there.) For this reason I have filed Lemon Law paperwork with an attorney in CA, a Better business Bureau complaint in CA and have leased a new car because I no longer feel safe driving the Fisker ocean one. The problems all appear to be software related, the company no longer responds to service requests and they have already attempted fixes on the car four separate times in the 5 months I’ve owned it.

May 13, 2024

I am writing to advise you that I have been experiencing a failure with my regen braking system. This all started since I first got the Fisker, and I did not originally report it due to believing it was a temporary software issue that would be fixed with 2.0. Unfortunately now that I have 2.0, I still experience this issue. The problem that occurs is when I remove my foot from the accelerator, the regen braking engages, and I naturally assume the distance needed to come to a stop. The failure starts if you hit a bump or uneven pavement while the regen is in the middle of slowing you down. This causes the regen to disengage, and you experience the feeling of the car suddenly launching forward. This forces you to apply the brakes, which automatically causes the ABS to engage (which is something else that is unexpected). This experience has been both frightening and dangerous every time it’s happened. I have nearly collided into the backend of cars in front of me due to this failure. This causes high anxiety when I drive, especially because I don’t know when it will happen again, as it is a sporadic issue requiring the specific scenario for it to happen. It’s difficult to replicate, but it has happened numerous times to me. Thank you for your attention to this issue. (I have submitted this same information to Fisker as well)

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the brake pedal was depressed but failed to operate as needed when the vehicle drove over a bump in the roadway. My Fisker has had multiple issues from the beginning. Seat sensor does not allow you to shift the car into drive or reverse. I had to shake my butt to get it into gear. There are at times that when I drive it goes into park for no reason. When it comes to braking it does this skip feeling which is very alarming. ADA notifications are constantly alerting (pretty much daily) where Auto Emergency Braking, Blind Spot warning, Forward Collision Warning are not working on a daily basis, especially in rain and when the sun rises and sets - it is a constant distraction. So n a nutshell here are the major issues: - ADA alerts constantly - When braking there is skipping (not all the time but more so when you really have to quickly brake - Seat sensor in the seat - must shake your butt to get it into gear due to it not being in the right place perhaps? (it's been serviced twice) - Skipping while braking hard -Fob key lags a lot, I believe it's a safety issue that you can't get in your car when needed especially in areas that are not so nice and as a female you should not be scared if your car will open or not - Not a safety issue but I do want to point out my vents turn on high and hot every time I get in the vehicle and need to turn it off

May 12, 2024

Several times this has happened while driving, I will brake and the car suddenly accelerates instead. Reporting the last incident.

May 11, 2024

Cascading brake failures while driving. ABS unavailable. Regenerative braking unavailable causing the brake pedal to be really heavy and hard to stop. Parking brake warning. Tire pressure monitoring error. Traction control error (esc). Loud pump or motor noise coming from the rear when parked when failure occurs. Have video of this noise. This error is also causing the rear drive motor to not engage, causing half the power vehicle is supposed to have and front wheel drive only.

May 11, 2024

I was driving and I received a drive motor failure. I lost all ability to accelerate and once under 7 mph the car shuddered to a stop. The dash shut down immediately. After exiting the vehicle and locking it, I rendered and the car seemed operational. I drove again to try to return home with the same issue occurring. I repeated this process with my emergency lights on to get the vehicle the remaining 2 miles home with the error happening a total of 4-5 times with one time showing a shifter error. In all cases, I needed to find a safe place to pull into while I waited for the reset to occur.

May 10, 2024

We have experienced a consistent issue on a local street by our elementary child's school. We have contacted Fisker no fewer than 5-6 times since December 2023 about this issue. Fisker has consistently stated that an upcoming over the air (OTA) software update would fix this issue. We are currently on OS 2.0 and the issue still persists. As the vehicle is going down a low grade hill towards a stop sign there is uneven pavement in the roadway. As we apply the brake petal on this uneven payment the Fisker Ocean One software gets confused and the car lurches forward as the ABS and emergency braking try to sort out the issue. Its very rattling as a driver to have this occur. Thankfully there hasn't been a car close enough in front of us or else we may have rear ended that vehicle. At times there is a crossing guard inside the box to direct traffic which is approximately 25-30 yards away. We have noticed this occurs both with the crossing guard and without the crossing guard in the active roadway. Not only is the crossing guard at risk but the students who are crossing the street to and from the school. The road is one lane each way so its not possible to avoid the uneven payment. The ADAS warning has also appeared on the digital dashboard with the earlier software (OS 1.1) numerous times and the infotainment screen would go blank for 24-36 hours with no explanation. As a driver you are not sure if this is "critical" or an on-going software issue.

May 10, 2024

I was coming to an intersection. The regen braking system was activated. As I went to apply brakes hit a bump and brakes went soft and car would not slow down. Luckily no one was in front of me as I had to just go through the intersection onto an on ramp.

May 10, 2024

Especially when traveling over rises or dips, or when accelerating after a school zone, the car frequently shakes, sometimes violently.

May 9, 2024

The loss of regenerative braking that I have experienced over uneven roads. While driving over a speed bump, slightly bumpy road, and gravel, the vehicle accelerates without me having pushed anything. As a driver, I feel like I am out of control of my vehicle. No warning lights or alerts come on when it happens. When I say uneven roads, I am driving over minor uneven terrain, not large potholes or bumps. This issue continues to endanger my life. The most concerning incident happened when I was coming down a hill preparing to stop at a stop sign that was parallel to a very busy street and my vehicle lurched forward. Luckily, I was just far enough away that I did not end up in oncoming traffic. I have repeatedly requested servicing for this issue and on every occasion Fisker has stated that its engineers are aware of the issue and they do not have a solution, so Fisker is not able to service my vehicle. From speaking with Fisker technicians and reading, I understand that the regenerative braking suddenly turns off over uneven terrain so the expected deceleration does not happen and instead the vehicle is lurched forward. I have owned the vehicle since February 24, 2024, and I have experienced the issue on 5 occasions. My vehicle was updated with the latest 2.0 software (and all attached modules) on April 24, 2024, and I have experienced the sudden loss of regenerative braking since receiving that update. I would gladly make the vehicle available for inspection upon request.

May 6, 2024

The brakes fail to operate when brake regeneration is active while driving over rough road surfaces. The brake pedal must be applied a second time in order to engage the power brake system.

May 3, 2024

During Moderate Braking, while driving over a bump, the entire drivetrain and braking system with "let go", and it feels like a surge in the drivetrain. During this time braking is unresponsive until it re-engages the system. If attempting to replicate, and viewing the driver's information console, sometimes you can see the "transmission" switch between Drive and Neutral and back to drive again. I have reported this to Fisker only weeks after receiving the vehicle in Sept 2023. They met me in a parking lot in San Diego, where "Taylor" a Magna Styer Engineering Technician for the ADAS system stated this was a known issue. Then in Dec 2023 or Jan 2024 the NHTSA reported that Fisker had fixed the problem - they have NOT, but since moving to Utah, the roads are a bit better than my original purchase location. On [XXX] while driving to work and when running over a very small bump in the road service on an exit ramp from [XXX], the regen braking and manual braking system released while driving, and my vehicle was propelled and continued through an intersection on a red light. This is becoming a common occurrence since the OS 2.0 update. Thankfully, there were no vehicles in the intersection and I made a sharp right turn and could not come to a complete stop. May 3, 2024

When driving and releasing the accelerator, the regen kicks in to slow the car and provide deceleration and regeneration. During this time, you can feel the brake pedal vibrate. When allowing regen to kick in and suddenly driving over a bump or uneven surface, the regen turns off, and thus, the car gets pushed forward suddenly as the part of deacceleration coming of the regen is not present. This ultimately translates into an increase in the stopping distance since the driver is under the assumption that the regen braking is going to be present. To compensate, when using the manual brake pedal, suddenly, the car responds by activating the ABS and momentarily continuing forward at a slightly faster speed for a few feet. In addition, with 2.0, it has been observed that the current braking is a mix of manual brakes and regen brakes. You can see while the system is working, your brake pedal is being compressed automatically while the regen is also being active. when driving over an even surface, the regen gets deactivated, and the brake pedal remains compressed and does not come back up as quickly as it should; it appears that during this time, you are basically pressing the pedal, and there is essentially no regen brakes working, and the manual brakes appear to be activating. Compounding my concerns are the numerous warning messages that have appeared on the vehicle's dashboard, including "Auto Emergency Braking unavailable - Drive carefully" and "Brake system malfunction - Service is required", "Lane Keep Assistance Deativated" "Front Facing Collision Camera Fault". No service tickets have been provided to track, and no prior tickets for vent issues have been addressed. Poor communication and service provided into evaluating and addressing these concerns and braking issues.

May 3, 2024

I have severe safety concerns about the malfunction of the vehicle’s regenerative braking system. Since I purchased the car, it has unexpectedly lurched forward during stop-and-go traffic on several occasions. This sudden and unpredictable acceleration poses a clear risk of collision and injury to both the vehicle’s occupants and other road users. Despite multiple attempts over the past six months, Fisker has been unable to diagnose and repair this braking defect. As a result, I am left with a vehicle that is unsafe to operate under normal driving conditions. Fisker’s failure to address this problem promptly raises concerns about a potentially widespread defect affecting other 2023 Fisker Ocean vehicles." Please note that Fisker has responded to customer feedback and issued an over-the-air software update to improve the regenerative system, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is still investigating the braking problems.

May 2, 2024

The most critical issue is a malfunction in the vehicle's regenerative braking system, which has caused the car to lurch forward unexpectedly during stop-and-go traffic on several occasions since I purchased . This sudden and unpredictable acceleration poses a clear risk of collision and injury to both the vehicle's occupants and other road users. Despite several attempts to have Fisker diagnose and repair this braking defect over the past six months, the issue persists, leaving me with a vehicle that is unsafe to operate in normal driving conditions. Fisker's inability to resolve this problem in a timely manner raises concerns about a potentially widespread defect affecting other 2023 Fisker Ocean vehicles. Compounding my concerns are the numerous warning messages that have appeared on the vehicle's dashboard, including "Auto Emergency Braking unavailable - Drive carefully" and "Brake system malfunction - Service is required." These alerts, combined with the actual performance issues I have experienced, strongly suggest that there are significant problems with the braking system that could have catastrophic consequences if left unaddressed. I am aware that the NHTSA has already opened a Preliminary Evaluation (PE24001) into alleged braking performance issues in 2023 Fisker Ocean vehicles, and I believe my experience provides further evidence of the seriousness and scope of this problem. The fact that Fisker has not been able to effectively repair my vehicle despite multiple attempts underscores the need for a thorough investigation and a buy-back from Fisker. In addition to the braking issues, I have also experienced other concerning problems with my Fisker Ocean, including phantom battery drain, a malfunctioning camera, and a non-functional solar roof. Please expedite this so that i can get another car to safely drive my children to school.

On [XXX] I opened a service ticket with Fisker for my Fisker Ocean One, Vin# [XXX] . On my drive to work the vehicle suddenly and very unexpectedly shuttered to a halt in the mist of driving. The times of the restarts were, [XXX], [XXX] and [XXX] and [XXX]pm. It was a clear day; everything was normal prior to the first episode at 1:17pm. After the third episode the " driver attention/alerts" came on unexpectedly too. After reaching my destination I performed a soft reboot which did not resolve the problem. Subsequently, on [XXX], at [XXX]am and again at [XXX]am, my vehicle shuttered to a stop and restarted in the middle of a busy road. After the second incident I did a soft reset and proceeded to my destination without any further issues. Yet again on [XXX] around [XXX]pm, my vehicle shuttered to stop in the middle of traffic, it then proceeded to reboot before allowing me to drive on. Nothing unusual preceded the incident and the vehicle was driven home with not added issues. On [XXX], between [XXX] today my FOO suddenly and unexpectedly shuttered to a stop no less than 6 times. On [XXX], the vehicle shuttered to a stop in the middle of traffic. Multiple events occurred sometime between [XXX]am and [XXX]am. On [XXX], the vehicle again shuttered to a stop, 2 times on the way home, again in the middle of traffic. All incidents where formally reported to Fisker at [email protected] and I rec'd confirmation of receipt Case numbers [XXX] and [XXX]. Through online resources I was able to find the contact information of a Fisker Service Center in Vista, CA (which isn't close to me, 80 miles away but I was willing to have the vehicle towed). I made an appt then they cancelled the appt after realizing that I found their contact information through online sources. So instead of helping they became petty and told me I'd have to until a service center opens closer to me. My 2023 Fisker Ocean One automatically/randomly shifts into PARK, with the parking brake on, when I come to a stop, and sometimes doesn't come out of PARK when I press the PARK button and shift into DRIVE. For example, the car is in DRIVE, I come to a complete stop at a stoplight and the car automatically shifts itself into PARK. I press the PARK button to disengage the parking brake, shift into DRIVE, and the car automatically shifts itself back into PARK. Sometimes I need to put it back in DRIVE multiple times (3, 4, or 5 times) before it finally stays in DRIVE. I reported this issue to Fisker on March 27th, followed up with them on April 5th and April 23rd with no resolution. The issue first occurred when I received an OTA software update prior to March 27th, but I waited a little while to report it because I was hoping it would fix itself as other issues sometimes do with Fisker.

Apr 30, 2024

While driving and pulling out of the parking lot, the parking brake engaged on its own, preventing me from accelerating and almost causing a car accident.

Several incidents with this car. All available for inspection. 1. Brakes dont work intermittently and then engage or release at random. We could have ran into a car when the brakes "released"randomly while pressing down the pedal. There is a brake malfunction light that comes on with. a loud gong when we start the car up. 2. Mark the Fisker deck said has reproduced and says he feels like there is bag of rattlesnakes at the pedal set. Both the accelerator and brake pedals have crunching noises and do not work properly. Mark says he has no idea why and can't do anything about it. 3. Manufacturer has not inspected the mechanical part of the car. Hard to get anyone to do anything over there, almost zero communication from the service center. This is a lemon car with massive safety issues. Even Chase, the note holder has reached out to us to get info on the mechanical and software problems. Asked if we wanted a buyback from the company which we do.we do.

This car is scary to drive. When I go over bumps in the road (man hole cover, railroad tracks, damaged road, etc) and hit my brakes, the car speeds up. When I'm using cruise control and I go over some kind of bump, the cruise will disengage and the regenerative braking kick on instantly. These events only happen over certain bumps and make it hard to expect. I've almost gotten rear ended on the highway changing lanes in cruise control and Ive been close to rear ending others as I've tried to come to a stop so many times. I have a 17 month old toddler and this is my only vehicle to get him around. I've asked fisker for help and they keep telling me to wait for updates and the latest update made it worse. This has happened since I've gotten the car and it's happened at all speeds. There are only 6000 miles on my car.

Car was purchases [XXX]. The braking became unavailable [XXX] while driving on the freeway. Several alerts and warnings came on to the vehicle regarding collision, lane changing. This has happened twice, second time [XXX]. Other issues have included: Car rolls back when foot taken off pedal even when parked on flat ground. Regenerative breaking issues persistent. Multiple alerts and warnings regarding breaking, collision warning, lane changing pop up on dash atop steering wheel throughout day. Car was delivered/purchased brand new [XXX] and to now, these issues have been going on consistently since [XXX] when car was delivered. I even flew to Los Angeles from Sacramento [XXX] to complain and get a hold of someone since NO ONE from Fisker is responding. I was told someone was going to contact me by Monday [XXX] and no one still has. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

This vehicle is not safe to be on the road. I've had numerous safety issues: 1) Electrical: --every day I get warnings about faults, particularly with many of the ADAS features being unavailable. --the dash screen with the speedometer fades out while driving. --the main screen stops working or locks on a back-up camera image. --the A/C system intermittently functions. The biggest issue with this is that the vehicle has a glass roof that traps heat in the car and it gets hot inside fast. --interior lights turn on and won't turn off. --the rear door will unlock but the door cannot be opened. This is particularly worrisome in the case of an emergency if I can't get my kids out of the backseat. --the side mirrors have closed by themselves while driving. 2) Driving --the car will shift gears on its own while driving, generally shifting into park when I stop in stop and go traffic. --if I encounter any potholes and dents in the road, the vehicle will lunge forward, quickly speeding up when slowing down. --the rollback on this vehicle is very worrisome. The lightest incline will result in the car starting to roll backwards very quickly. If you press the accelerator while rolling back the vehicle thrusts forward. --I've been locked out of the vehicle two times. Both times it was because the vehicle fell into a deep sleep and required a remote activation. That meant I had to wait 15-20 minutes to get a hold of a representative to remote unlock my car. I have two kids and the idea of getting stuck somewhere with a car that can't be unlocked worries me. 3) Keyfob --the battery dies every 4-8 weeks. --the keyfob is essential to opening and starting the vehicle, but it doesn't always work. --I've had to have my car towed because the keyfob would not operate and I couldn't unlock the vehicle with the app. Overall, this vehicle is far too dangerous to be on the road!

Was driving vehicle on highway. Road was being milled. Went over the transition from milled to normal asphalt pavement. Vehicle lost power, error message appeared about battery, transmission shifted to neutral. Once vehicle was on the side of the highway, stopped, it turned itself off.

Many grievances that are not addressed by the company: Brakes sometimes cause the car to "jump" forward and glide forward a couple of feet. If someone cuts you off and you have to quickly brake, the car may "jump" forward and get into an accident. The car has evidence of water build up somewhere inside the skeleton/body/frame of the car (evidence by "swishing" noises upon normal uphill acceleration, downhill deceleration, acceleration in general). Along with this, there's more evidence of water accumulation with visible condensation found on the windows that are from the inside (especially evident on the passenger side front and rear windows). There is a smell to the inside that is of standing water (humid smell). Concerned with mold if not addressed. The consul will stop working and either freeze or shut off altogether (in these cases no buttons can control the vent or audio systems). Occasionally the car will have the heater on, blasting hot hair and since the consul won't work, nor the buttons, there's no way to control that (at the same time, there's no way to control the audio volume either). The car's safety features are practically always inactive and the car prompts me to "drive carefully" based on this finding. "Lane assist" and "automatic brake" are the most frequently 'unavailable' safety features (daily). Car being stranded and unable to open or turn on multiple times. All this has been emailed to Fisker multiple times (with photos) and an automatic email response received that they will "review my concerns and respond within 48-72 hours" (that hasn't happened, no response). I've spoken to customer service (early March), expressing these issues verbally, being promised that a they will arrange for a "technician" to come out and review the issues to see if they can solve them or refer out to a physical location for the car to be evaluated if they can't solve. NO technician has been sent out and NONE of these issues/concerns have been addressed.

I began driving home from work with the vehicle at 75% charge. As I pulled onto the main road the vehicle experienced a regenerative braking error, then proceeded to lose power. The vehicle came to a halt and then displayed an error that the battery charge level was 0%. At this time every single error indicator on the dash became illuminated. The vehicle stopped in the travel lanes and was unable to shift into drive to move, and subsequently had to be towed. Due to the vehicle's unresponsiveness my safety was put at risk by having a vehicle that could not move out of the travel lanes on a busy road.

My Fisker Ocean Extreme has been inoperable since [XXX]. Initially, a Fisker rep told me it was likely due to software update Fisker pushed to the car, causing the car alarm to sound and the 12 volt battery to die. Fisker did not notify me that it was pushing an update to my car on [XXX], nor did I “accept” or “install” any update. The car was parked at the time. On [XXX] and [XXX], the rep tried unsuccessfully on two occasions to repair the car. Ultimately, he stated that a connector “welded” itself (his words) to the high voltage battery. Although the rep said the “welding” was rare, it has occurred. Before he left my car, he disconnected wires and further rendered the car inoperable. Fisker promised to arrange no later than [XXX] for the car to be towed and repaired in La Palma. However, despite repeated calls and emails, Fisker has rejected my requests for repair. The "welding" indicates a high level of heat involving the high voltage battery, which is a significant safety concern. The car also had significant issues with regenerative braking not working, which I also complained to Fisker about. The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while depressing the brake pedal, a vibration and tapping sound was coming from the brake pedal. Additionally, the "Regen Braking" message was displayed, and the stopping distance was extended. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a technician was sent to examine the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed that the failure was due to a software issue that the manufacturer was working to resolve. No further information was available. The failure mileage was 10.

Today, I had to slam on my breaks on the freeway. Luckily I was able to stop in time. However the Fisker completely shut off, flashed every warning light imaginable and wouldn’t respond. I sat diagonally in the middle of a 6 lane freeway and for 5 straight minutes the car wouldn’t work. I finally got the car to turn on but it wouldn’t switch to drive, it was stuck on park or neutral. I had to turn off the car, lock it, unlock it and then the car responded. It was very scary. The 2nd was last weekend I had my car in the garage plugged in for 7 days and it didn’t get driven. When I returned I got in the car to drive and the battery was at full charge. While I was driving to work the battery was dropping several % a minute. After 20 miles of driving I had 9% of battery and pulled into a charging area unable to get to work. I ended up charging the Fisker and it went back to normal. While driving I never got any notices/alerts/warnings, the battery never adjusted, it just kept falling. It was very stressful, nerve racking and scary thinking this could happen at any time or any moment. I can’t imagine driving my Fisker outside the city area. Also having the same braking issues where it shudders forward. I've had to drastically change lanes because of the brakes not fully engaging. My driver side mirror was making a loud screeching noise while opening and its stopped working altogether. The bluetooth doesnt work for the music or phone as well. I have messaged Fisker customer service over 20 times and they continue to ignore me.

Apr 4, 2024

As I was driving in the middle of a rainstorm and the typical collision avoidance, lane departure, blind spot monitoring lights turned on and off intermittently, which was expected with this car. I’m used to it by now. But as I came down a descent on the two lane highway (CA interstate 80 around Truckee), as I slowly let go of the accelerator to allow for regen breaking to kick in, I got alerts for break malfunctions and failed regen breaking. Then all of a sudden, the accelerator lost all response and started to slow. I applied pressure to the accelerator and got nothing. Luckily there were no cars around, so I was able to cut across the next lane and onto the shoulder. Luckily the mechanical brakes still worked, though no regen breaking. I came to a complete stop, and as soon as I put the car into (P)ark the entire car shut off by itself, like it kissed all power. Fortunately, I was able to press through breaks the turn the car back on. Then everything went back to normal.

I have created some service tickets thru the Fisker website and got no response, Shawn did a great job taking care of the initial issues I had, I just keep finding more that have not been addressed or stopped working with the OS2.0, the Bluetooth keeps disconnecting or not connecting at all when I enter the vehicle, the “Lane keep assist” never worked, I am still owe the rear flaps, the emergency kit We paid for, the limo screen is not working, (it stopped working before the updated it got fixed on update, it stopped working again), also, the car has done some erratic behaviors when stopped at a intersection waiting for a green light, the vehicle puts itself to Park, sometimes to the point of non responsiveness, there’s rattling or grinding sound when breaking at around 30-20m/hr, when inside the vehicle for 20-30 min, all kind of errors appears and becomes unresponsive, battery errors, won’t drive or do nothing, the driver seat intermittently becomes unresponsive, it would not move forward/backwards or up/low, I couldn’t drive it the other day, it was stuck the way my wife drives.

Regenerative breaking skips and propels the car forward while driving.

Mar 28, 2024

I have had a recurring issue where the vehicle lunges forward when going over a speed bump, pothole or any rough spots on the roadway even when pressing on the brake pedal. It appears that the regenerative braking temporarily fails as does the standard brake in this occurrence, making the vehicle feel out of control and unsafe. Fisker announced that this was addressed with software version 1.10 but I have been on version 1.11 ever since receiving my vehicle a couple months ago and continue to experience this event. It most recently occurred yesterday while driving to and from the airport, going over a speed bump. Additionally, I continue to get "ADAS fault - features limited or unavailable" warnings and "Auto emergency braking unavailable" warnings and "Brake system malfunction - Service required" warnings on a regular basis for which I have numerous photos and videos. Also, on occasion I have had "Regenerative braking unavailable" warnings appear at which time the regenerative brakes are not functional, putting additional strain on the regular brakes.

Mar 27, 2024

Anytime the vehicle goes over a bump the vehicle lunges forward even if the operator is pressing the brakes. Collison warning does not work properly and lane departure warning is spotty. Interior lights randomly come on and off without any operator control. Fisker has not done anything since November 5, 2023 when I took delivery of the car.

Mar 27, 2024

The vehicle has several major faults that Fisker is now ignoring and no one has come to fix in the past 2 months. I've submitted multiple tickets and claims. Issue 1: ADAS system. My ADAS system is and has been down since the beginning of February. I have received software updates but that has not fixed the issue. Nothing in any part of ADAS works, causing a massive safety issue. Issue 2: Braking and Regenerative Braking. I believe you are aware of this issue, but when you brake or regenerative braking is engaged, but you then hit a bump, all braking malfunctions and the vehicle accelerates forward. This issue has been persistent for months. There is also a "Brake Malfunction" warning light that appears on start up of the vehicle that requires service. Fisker apparently has no service. Issue 3: My ventilation system is broken (the car is 4 months old) and no longer works and makes an intrusive noise when engaged. Fisker sent me replacement vents (almost a month ago) but no one has called to schedule an appointment to come fix the issues. Other issues: Bluetooth and connectivity malfunctions; interior lighting malfunctions; software issues. The largest issue here is that I am driving a $70K vehicle with major safety issues and no one at Fisker seems to care because they are in dire financial straights.

Mar 27, 2024

My Fisker Ocean One has experienced multiple ADAS issues including lane departure not working, emergency braking failing regularly producing multiple warning lights, regenerative braking shutting off causing the vehicle to speed up or roll away. I have dozens of photos of the errors and videos. I will provide the link to the photo folder. The technician was finally able to update all of the vehicle modules to 2.0 to try to resolve this. That included a hold function updated. At roughly [XXX] I was pulling into my driveway. My road is a steep downhill to my house then a left into the drive. As I was slowly pulling into the driveway the vehicle jerked violently many times as if it was trying to stop but couldn't. I was not applying the brakes, but letting off the accelerator for the regenerative function to slow the car. When the jerking occurred I tried to brake and the brake pedal did not respond. The vehicle finally locked the wheels and came to a stop. Many warning lights came on rapidly. The message I saw was a braking fault then the car died and all screens shut off. I was half way in the road and now in front of an oncoming vehicle. I couldn't get it to start up. Fortunately the oncoming vehicle slowed and crept around me. My Fisker Ocean the rebooted itself and I was able to get it into the garage. I have under 2700 miles on it. This update 2.0 was promised to fix many of these issues and now put myself and others in danger. I suspect it was the hold function that caused the issue. It seemed like it was trying to stop and hold while I was moving. I contacted the technician who is looking into the data and I reported it to Fisker. This vehicle has been dangerous since it was first delivered. The service techs are trying but the software and build is the issue, which they cannot overcome. Link to photos of previous errors. Mar 20, 2024

The safety issue with my brakes on my Fisker Ocean is when brake pedal is depressed the vehicle starts to decelerate but then for a split second accelerates. This issue happens intermittently (overall in 4 weeks of driving the vehicle it has happened 6 to 8 times.) I was told by Fisker techs that the new software was supposed to fix this issue, and I received the latest 2.0 software upgrade a little over a week ago, but then had another instance of acceleration while braking happen with even the new software on the vehicle. The last instance happened last Thursday March 14th.

Mar 11, 2024

Many times, if I brake on a surface that is at all uneven, my stopping distance increases by (estimated) 2-10 feet. The brakes seem to do one of these things, and as it is not entirely predictable, I have a hard time describing, but they are: 1) some part of the braking system (maybe regenerative) just lets go suddenly in the middle of braking. This causes a sensation of suddenly gliding forward. 2) brakes grab, and the car will skid forward a few feet. I wish I could state this more clearly, however I can definitively state I have never had this problem with any other car. I drove a Tesla Model Y (LR) for 3 years which has similar technology, and had no such events. These problems have led me to almost rear end another car, and to travel into the oncoming lane of a city street when turning right (because of ending up several feet farther than I should have been before starting the turn). If a pedestrian were to run into the street ahead of me, I have no confidence that the car would stop in the time/distance that a car should. I reported the first time this happened, in early December, and have emailed the company at least 3 more times asking for them to address this. Have also asked reps on the phone, who universally say, "we know about this, maybe you should turn your regenerative braking to Low."--but this has to be done manually each time you start the car, so it's hardly a safe fix. Henrik Fisker has come out publicly saying this was fixed. I have version 2.0 (2/3) software on the car and can definitively say this has not been fixed.

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean Sport. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the brakes failed to function as needed. The contact stated that while removing the foot off the brake pedal, the vehicle rolled backwards. The contact stated that the failure had been persistent. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was informed that a new software update needed to be performed. The contact stated that the software update was not performed. The failure mileage was approximately 500.

unsafe operation - erratic braking, roll back while waiting for light or traffic, non-functioning options, inconsistent key functionality, inability to update software. Total unresponsive company personnel to send technician to car's location for a repair. Stuck in driveway for 3 months blocking access to garage and potential fire hazard as it was connected to Fisker charger but would not release EV-SE handle. Mobile App and web site application not in sync and could not assist me as vehicle operator

Mar 3, 2024

The vehicle intermittently experiences brake failure when traversing rough or uneven terrain. The lane keep assist system occasionally causes the vehicle to veer towards the incorrect side of lane markings.

Feb 26, 2024

The breaking system has failed numerous times nearly causing accidents and I’ve had faulty/false forward collision warnings and emergency breaking engage for no reason to the point where I’ve been thrusted forward and injured.

1.The Internet continues to not work. 2.Key Fobs do not work. 3.Regenerative braking functions failure. Brakes/wheels start to smoke and smell like electric smoke. Brake now squeaks, not sure if it is related. 4.Brakes seemed to temporarily fail on two different occasions while going around a turn on uneven terrain. No response from company, reported twice. 5.Consistent safety system failures. Lane assist, hill assist, anti-collision…etc. 6.The camera system continues to fail. 7.Door handles malfunctions 8.Bluetooth continues to connect to my phone even though the Vehicle is off. 9.Solar panel does not work. Feb 1, 2024

Any time I'm driving in wet or slightly slick weather conditions, the regenerative braking on my Fisker causes the brakes to lock up and instantly lose control. Even at very slow speeds. I've additionally had drastic safety issues with the car when driving in cruise control. When traveling around 70-80 mph on cruise control, when I'd hit even a small crack or bump in the road, the CC instantly shuts off causing the regenerative braking to engage. This is essentially the same as suddenly braking on a freeway with other traffic around. And since feet/legs are usually positioned off of the gas/brake it's very unsafe trying to react to this when it happens. Finally, the cars auto lane correction system occasionally pulls me in the wrong direction. When I slightly go over a lane, the lane assist engages. About 50% of the time, it actually pulls the car to the WRONG side.

Feb 1, 2024

I was trying to come to a stop at a red light using regen braking. At a remaining speed of about 20 mph both front wheels hit a significant bump between two concrete road surface plates. When hitting the bump, regen braking immediately disengaged and the car continued at 20 mph without any regen brake support. I had to depress the brake pedal hard in order to bring vehicle to a safe stop as, at the same time, the brake pressure point has shifted significantly and normal brake pedal pressure had no effect. Vehicle displayed no warning lamp or message. This is just the latest occurrence of the same issue which has happened to me multiple times over the past few weeks. Causes are bumps, potholes or also icy/slick surfaces while regen braking the vehicle. Even one wheel encountering such a situation will immediately lead to loss of regen brake on all 4 wheels and shifting pedal pressure point. On Jan 19, 2024 Fisker published a statement that this (or maybe a similar) issue was resolved with v1.10 of their software. I had my car delivered with v1.10 and am now on v1.11 (1/2) and have encountered loss of braking on both SW versions. Online tickets with Fisker support and talking to Fisker service advisors trying to get the vehicle investigated have yielded no result. To date Fisker has not conducted any noticeable effort to contain the situation.

Jan 31, 2024

We had issues with the car from the day it arrived ranging from the key fob not working to multiple warning lights that interrupted the regenerative braking. Despite multiple tickets filed, Fisker was unresponsive. After about two weeks of owning the car (less than 250 miles on a brand new vehicle), the car went unresponsive while driving despite having a full charge and no warning/issue alerts. The car shifted itself into neutral and when the driver tried to put the car in park to get out of the car and see what was wrong, the car started to roll forward despite being in park. To stop the car from hitting oncoming traffic, the driver was able to get back in the car and manually depress the brake. Once the driver hit the brakes, the car stopped rolling forward, however the car remained unresponsive to any of the other gears. To get out of the street, the driver used the momentum of the roll forward to try to make a slight turn back into the neighborhood street however ran out of momentum and got stuck in the middle of the street again with the car now rolling backwards. The driver hit the brakes again to prevent the rollback and because the car was unresponsive, the driver was stuck holding the brake from 7:21 AM to around 8:45 AM. At 7:37 AM the car went black and many of the controls started to glitch (we have videos but the uploader tool is limited to photos only) Due to the car now being completely blacked out, the brake is very heavy and the slightest movement will cause a rollback. After several attempts to get ahold of Fisker including their roadside assistance and live chat, the driver was unable to get help and called the police instead. The car had to be towed and has been out of commission ever since. A Fisker technician has tried to diagnose the issues after three attempts but things are still unresolved. Fisker remains unresponsive and hasn’t even provided us with documentation of the service diagnostics despite repeated requests.

Jan 26, 2024

When using the "regenerative" braking function by taking foot off the accelerator, if the car encounters minimal uneveness in the roadway (ie bumps, cracks, potholes, uneven surface etc) the "regen" function terminates without any warning and the car "free-rolls" until I am able to apply pressure to the brake pedal. When it does this, the vehicle feels like it is accelerating, but I realize it is really just gaining momentum that if not quickly reacted to could lead to loss of control during turns and at intersections or crosswalks. I have had this action happen no less than 10 times in my limited ownership time, and I thought it was going to be addressed during an OTA update, but it is still occuring.

Jan 22, 2024

Strange behavior with the breaks when it applied on an uneven surface.

Jan 21, 2024

Continuous malfunctions of the ADAS system, including while driving the vehicle. The brake pedal vibrates when used and feels as if the vehicle will start skidding with enough pressure at the right speed.

Jan 19, 2024

The car has now on at least 6 occasions started to shake and rapidly decelerate after I pressed the brake to slow down or make a turn. The car dashboard then starts flashing the following warning signs: 1. "Brake system malfunction service required"; 2) "ASAS fault- Features Limited or unavailable. Drive Carefully"; and 3) "Battery Level low." Please charge battery now." The vehicle's steering wheel then starts to shake and the car then comes to a complete stop and shuts down. This has happened several times on crowded roadways putting me at risk of being rear-ended. The deceleration is very rapid and without any warning. I have a video of the car doing this and can send to you. Please note that the warnings on the dash appear to be inaccurate because each time this has happened the battery level has been sufficiently charged (making the "Battery Level low" warning completely non-sensical." I have reported this issue three times to the manufacturer Fisker. Once when I called for road-side assistance. On that occasion a company representative walked me through a reboot of the vehicle. I was hoping this would solve the problem but it didn't. The car has since done same thing about 5 to 6 times. I have sent Fisker two emails alerting them to the safety issue. The first emails was sent on January 10th and the second on January 15. In the second email I included a video of one of the above-referenced occurrences. In response to my emails Fisker assigned me two case numbers and promised to respond within 1-3 business days. To date I have received no response. I will not drive the car at this point for fear for my safety.

Jan 18, 2024

Firstly I think I must inform you that I am reporting this from the UK, I am a US citizen but live part time in the UK and this was a UK delivered car. I have also reported this to the UK DVSA. This is to report two problems that I think you should know about, both of which are potentially life threatening. 1.My wife became locked in the car and could only exit after the computer was rebooted. There is an electrically activated "Dead Bolt" that prevents the door handle from opening the door, this is under the control of the computer. If the computer system has a glitch, which it seems to have every time the car is driven, then the "Dead Bolt" may not release trapping one in the car. It seems ridiculous that this design has passed even a basic safety review. There should be a purely mechanical connection between the inside door handle and the lock, or a secondary emergency release handle. Imagine being trapped in the car after an accident with possibly a fire or the car filling with water and being unable open the door. There are many other reports of people being trapped in this model car on the Fisker forums etc. The Fisker UK sales manager told me of an incident where all 4 passengers were locked in the car for hours before a Fisker technician released them. I have returned the car to Fisker and have just received my money back, after telling them I would not drive the car again because of this potential safety issue. I think these cars should be taken off the road until the door locks are redesigned and retrofitted to every car. Someone is going to die trapped in one of these cars. Please take this very seriously, it reminds me of the Apollo 1 Catastrophe. 2. On three occasions while braking the brakes seemed to release while I was still pressing the pedal, the car even seemed to accelerate briefly which was very scary. On the third occasion I was stopping behind another car that stopped suddenly and I nearly ran into the back of it.

Jan 18, 2024

When braking on pavement that is in any way uneven or bumpy, the brake pedal vibrates and then the car jumps forward and you have to jump on the brakes to stop. This has happened many times and I can replicate it. A warning that brakes need servicing comes on every time I start the vehicle and the ADAS is not functioning properly alarm comes on in inclement weather every minute and sometimes in perfectly sunny weather randomly for no reason.

The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake system malfunction warning light and regenerative braking message were displayed. Additionally, the contact stated that the brake pedal was soft while depressed and made an abnormal sound. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer; however, the vehicle was pending a diagnostic test. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 700.

When applied the break for the signal, the car doesnt stop immediately. It jumps and drags for a second and stops. Also, the car when stopped and when you remove your leg from the brakes, it goes behind and need to apply the gas pedal to push it forward.

Jan 16, 2024

Car doesn’t stop someone when pressing the brake . Also getting warning that emergency brake are not working . 2 incidents reported to Fisker when door swing open and batter died and car completely dead

Jan 16, 2024

1. The car rolling back immediately after foot is off of brakes pedal with even a minor steepness in the road or parking space, that could be very dangerous upon stopping behind a red lights, or any other situations that another car is right behind this car such as getting in or out of tight parking spots. 2. The car brakes are not reliable. They feel spongy and you can not adjust how hard and how fast they should be pushed down. In 2 occasions I had a closed call hitting the car in front of my car in highway. 3. Sometimes you feel that the car accelerates in an unpredictable fashion but for a short period of time 4. Although promised , there is no cruise control either regular or adaptive in this car Despite of several call, emails, and making web-based services requests, nothing has been done so far to resolve this issues

The brakes became momentarily inoperable while driving over a pothole or puddle of water. The brakes momentarily stopped braking the car as I was decelerating over the pothole, which caused me to come very close to colliding with the vehicle in front of me. No collision occured but after the pothole, I had to apply the brakes aggressively to stop in time. This issue has occurred multiple times The problem has not been reproduced by a service center or the manufacturer, nor has a request been made to them yet No inspections have occurred on the vehicle. No other symptoms or warning lights related to this issue

Braking does not work as designed when driving over potholes, bumps, or uneven pavement. The car actually speeds up without accelerating. Very dangerous to say the least. Attempts to resolve through Fisker corporate have been unsuccessful. ADAS functions; lane assist, front collision, and abs braking randomly become unavailable in inclement weather. Mainly when it rains or snows. Fisker provided no spare tire. There is however a flat tire kit. Included in the kit is a bottle of tire sealant. The bottle of tire sealant was not properly sealed and leaked out in the trunk. All concerns have been reported multiple times to Fisker with multiple service tickets created. Non have been resolved since reporting beginning 11/7/23.

Jan 11, 2024 Fire

I was driving on [XXX] in the Dallas area when the parking brake suddenly and unexpectedly engaged. I tried to disengage it manually using the button to the left of the steering wheel, but it would not disengage. Due to the higher speed of being on a state highway, the vehicle quickly became unstable and within a few seconds the brakes locked up and I went into a spin crossing two lanes in the process. I was lucky that no other vehicles were in the path of travel and I eventually came to a stop pointing the wrong way on a 6 lane highway. Even after coming to a stop I could not disengage the parking brake. I forced the car to drive with the brake engaged and I pulled off the road and got out of the vehicle. Smoke was pouring from the braking system and upon inspection of the wheels, both rear wheels were on fire (which I took video of). I tried calling the Fisker support line to get some help, but was informed that the app was also not working and I would need to submit a ticket, which I did (case [XXX]). Eventually the flames died out and I was able to get back into the car and “carefully” drive it home. This was not the first time the Software in the Vehicle malfunctioned, but it was the first time that I felt at risk of being harmed. I am no longer driving the vehicle as I am concerned about its safety. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The vehicle started displaying random Brake malfunctioning alerts, and the vehicle did not stop even while applying brakes causing a bit of a panic. This repeated again today while driving back from the gym, so this is a concern and unsafe to drive the vehicle. Raised tickets with the company with no responses or anyone to reach out to. Vehicle is just a month old and several other issues from battery, key fob connectivity, apps glitches etc.

First, the vehicle does not hold on any degree of incline. The vehicle comes with "strong regenerative braking", but when coming to a stop on a hill and taking one's foot off the accelerator, the vehicle drifts backward as if it were in neutral. It will continue backwards and gain speed, creating a danger to the driver and vehicles behind it. When one's foot is on the brake pedal and the driver switches from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal, the car drifts backward and the accelerator pedal does not engage in drive mode until what seems like halfway into pressing it. When the vehicle finally goes forward, it lunges. We live in a mountainous environment, and I have already had two close calls where the vehicle drifted backward, as if in neutral, and the driver behind me honked his horn. There is no indication on the driver's display or any sound to identify this error. I have emailed the manufacturer and called them twice with no return message. I first noticed this problem on the day of delivery to my home: 11/17/2023. The action is reproducible at all times. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance reps, but social media threads online point to this problem as common enough. The second problem is an ADAS warning light indicating a front collision collision fault and that emergency braking is not available. These lights are active even after a soft reset of the vehicle's software. These lights have been illuminated since delivery of the vehicle. When I called Fisker, the rep on the phone line indicated that this problem was common among customers and that a "future" software update would address it. This problem has also not been yet addressed by the manufacturer, an insurance company, or the police. This illuminated light MAY put others at risk; since it does not work, and I have not come close to a collision, I have no way of knowing the extent of the risk.

Issue 1 : The car over bumpy roads loses the regenerative braking and accelerates. During this time (~1-2 sec), the manual brakes don't function and response is delayed but ultimately comes to life followed by the ABS functioning. Frequency of event occurrence: Multiple times. Issue 2 : The car detects false collision and automatically brakes itself coming to a full stop even if there is no car/obstacle around. This has happened both at low (~ 10 mph) as wells as high speeds (~ 40 mph), both during the day as well as night. Frequency of event occurrence: 4 times. Fisker's response: The tech has tried to fix the problem twice during two different visits by updating the software version of the car. However, during the test drive he has reproduced the loss of regen and brake failure even after the software upgrade. Separately, while driving to work after the upgrade I have been able to reproduce the problem of false collision and braking. I have informed and updated both the customer care hotline, local Fisker contact, local supervisor and other Fisker team members. Multiple cases has been already created with the Fisker team about all issues.

Nov 28, 2023 Crash

While driving southbound on I-95 from Washington, DC to toward Richmond, on a stretch of the highway with three lanes and a constant flow of traffic across all lanes, the driver ahead of me swerved to avoid two cars ahead of her who had stopped for unknown reasons. I saw her tail lights light up and then almost immediately watched her swerve only to see the practically parked cars in my lane (left-most). At this point my following distance was greatly reduced. I immediately stepped on the brake which vibrated and felt more plastic rather than elastic (which had happened a couple of times before at low maneuvering speeds but still applying braking force). With cold weather and slight rain at 9:50am ET, the car practically slid and I did not feel ABS engaging. It was as if the tires seized up. The car is supposed to have a full suite of ADAS features and Automatic Emergency Braking was supposed to be available from mid-2023 (whereas other features are allegedly delayed until later in the year). To say I was disappointed with the car's handling of this situation would be an understatement. 5,000 of these vehicles have been delivered across the world and about 3,000 to 4,000 in the US. Several others have reported issues/experiences like mine online. This car is simply not safe until the software has been rectified. We were led to believe that just infotainment and miscellaneous system software was lacking but clearly this is affecting critical safety systems. Another system known to work intermittently are the cameras. If that includes the radars/cameras in charge of safety features, that means those features also only work intermittently. The accident was low-speed and low-impact and two occupants (1 adult, 1 child) in the Fisker Ocean appear to be OK. The driver/sole occupant of the other vehicle initially reported she was OK and did not require a police report or medical attention but according to my insurance agency has since changed her claim to one of "injury".

I'm driving on hill/uneven pavement, either foot off of the accelerator (regen engaged and on high) or foot on the brake pedal and actively pushing the brake. The brake disengages and the car lurches forward. Feels the the car is being push forward for a split second. Making it a dangerous situation. It happens offen And brake rattling noise coming from the brake pedal when coming to a full stop

Nov 22, 2023

I have experienced this issue 4 or 5 separate times. The issue seems to occur while driving over rough, uneven/bumpy roads. While driving over a bumpy road either with foot off of both pedals and regenerative braking engaged OR with foot on the brake pedal and actively/physically braking, suddenly and without warning the brake disengages and the car lurches forward with such force as to snap my head back into the headrest. I have been lucky that there were no pedestrians or other cars in front of me when these issues have occurred but unless it's fixed it's only a matter of time before it causes an accident. I have reported this issue to Fisker but have not heard back from them as to a fix. I have seen others reporting this issue as well in online forums such as Fiskerati.

My fisker ocean brakes are extremely dangerous. It slides slipping when you apply the brake. You might be lucky if you go uphill or down hill to not get into an accident. I have tried for almost 6 week calling them to fix my issue. I have send an email to cfo and several others no luck. There should be a recall on these vehicles ASAP it’s a serious safety concern.

Issue has been confirmed and acknowledged by Fisker. There is an issue with bumps on the road while braking and is a safety issue and should probably have a stop order until it's fixed. They are replacing sewer lines in my area so the roads are as bad as it gets. Our neighborhood is pretty hilly and I was coming down hill slowing from 35 to 15 to make a right onto a narrower side street. When I was mid turn I hit a series of bumps from all the construction and the car suddenly accelerated. I pushed the brakes as far as I could but was unable to slow the car until I passed the rough part of the road, which includes part of the crosswalk. If there were any pedestrians in the crosswalk or any on-coming cars, I would've definitely hit them. Fisker needs to fix this. I'm still a little shaken as I had my kids in the car at the time. Fisker knows about this but is still delivering vehicles that will not stop but accelerate when hitting bumps in the road. They are also not warning people of this.
