THE VEHICLE IS EXPERIENCING THE FAILURES DESCRIBED IN THE MASTER CYLINDER PISTONS RECALL 89V223000. IN ADDITION, THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON. ALSO, THE VEHICLE IS EXPERIENCING THE FAILURE DESCRIBED IN THE IGNITION SWITCH RECALL 96V071000 BUT THIS VEHICLE NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK

THE VEHICLE IS ONLY OPERATED IN TEXAS. THE DESIGN OF THE BRAKE HOSE MOUNT AND A RUBBER COLLAR AT THE STEEL TO HOSE CONNECTION POINT ALLOWED DIRT AND MOISTURE TO COLLECT AND RUST THE BRAKE LINE IN TO. I WAS PILLING IN MY DRIVEWAY AND WAS LUCKY I WAS NOT ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND I HAVE TO BELIEVE THERE ARE MANY OTHER FAILURES IN THE US. THANKS

ABS BRAKES; WHEN APPLYING BRAKES IN A SUDDEN STOP THE REAR BRAKES LOCKED UP, CAUSING REAR OF VEHICLE TO PULL FROM RIGHT TO LEFT, CAUSING AN ACCIDENT, IN WHICH VEHICLE ROLLED OVER. PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS. *AK CONSUMER STATED THAT THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE LIGHT WOULD ILLUMINATE, CONSUMER ALSO STATED WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED THE REAR END OF VEHICLE WOULD FISHTAIL. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE, BUT DEALER COULD NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, CONSUMER APPLIED BRAKES TO AVOID HITTING A MERGING VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE FISHED TAILED, AND TURNED PARRARELL TO THE CURB AND PROCEEDED TO FLIP ONTO ITS LEFT SIDE. CONSUMER RECEIVED INJURIES TO BACK AND KNEES. *TT

BRAKES FAILED CAUSING CONSUMER TO PLOW THROUGH GARAGE AND INTO FAMILY ROOM FURNISHINGS. NO BODILY INJURIES. TT CONSUMER STATES MECHANIC ADVISED HER THAT THE MASTER CYLINDER HAD FALLEN OUT IN THE MECHANIC'S HAND AND OIL HAD GOT INTO THE BOOSTER MASTER CYLINDER AND BOOSTER WERE REPLACED. *JB

WHEN RUBBER TIPS ON VACUUM LINE BLOWS OFF, THEY WILL CRACK THROUGH HEAT CAUSING LOSS OF BRAKES; REPLACEMENT NEEDED. FAILURE OCCURS ON START-UP AND HIGH HEAT WEATHER. POSSIBLE BRAKES ARE VACUUM ASSISTANCE. TT
