THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DASH HAS COME LOOSE AND BOUNCES WHEN TRAVERSING SPEED BUMPS AND ROUGH ROADS. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH A FORD ENGINEERED MODIFICATION MADE IN PRODUCTION AND THE FORD DEALER IN POWAY DID NOT EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT.

COMPLETE FAILURE OF REAR DIFFERENTIALS - ALL INTERNAL PARTS DESTROYED. FORD DEALER THAT REPAIRED VEHICLE GAVE NO REASON FOR FAILURE. NO EXTERNAL DAMAGE. VEHICLE USED NORMALLY - NO OFF-ROAD OR HEAVY TRAILER USE. CONTACTED FORD VICE PRESIDENT, NOT COMPENSATION OFFERED. PAID $3K TO REPAIR REAR END WITH NO DEALER WARRANTY. REASON: NOT SURE WHY IT WENT OUT BEFORE. FORD STATED THAT DUE TO FAILURE HAPPENING 36 MONTHS A 14 DAYS AFTER VEHICLE MANUFACTURED - NOT COVERED UNDER POWERTRAIN WARRANTEE. CONTACTED BBB, NO ASSISTANCE. SOLD BRONCO AND WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER FORD PRODUCT AGAIN DUE TO THE WAY I WAS TREATED BY THE COMPANY. THE DEALER THAT FIXED THE UNIT TOLD ME THAT HE "FELT" IT WAS DUE TO A DEFECT IN MATERIALS IN THE REAR END - BUT COULD/WOULD NOT PUT THAT IN WRITING.*AK

2ND TIME 4- WHEEL DRIVE HAS FAILED TO ENGAGE, 1ST TIME HUB WAS PROBLEM, LOUD NOISES COMING FROM TRANSER CASE. AXEL IS NOT BENT OR TWISTED. LOUD WINDING NOISE, EVEN AFTER DISENGAGE AUTO HUBS. LOUD "CLUNK" OCCURRED JUST PRIOR TO FAILURE. FAILURE OCCURRED AS VEHICLE WAS ASCENDING A 15 DEGREE SLOP IN 4 WHEEL LOW. FIRST FAILURE WAS WITH ORIGINAL PART, HUB, AND WAS REPLACED WITH A DEALER PART, SINCE THIS IS A DEALER ONLY PART. FIRST FAILURE ACCURRED UNDER NORMAL USAGE AS WELL. THE TRUCK IS USED ON HIGHWAY AND CITY DRIVING WITH OCCASIONAL NEED FOR 4 WHEEL DRIVE ON MUDDY TWO TRACK ROADS. NOTHING BEYOND THE NORMAL FOR SUCH A TRUCK. *AK

WITH OWNING A LITTLE OVER A YEAR TRUCK HAS USED 4 TO 5 SETS OF BRAKE PADS WHICH WERE REPLACED DUE TO EXCESSIVE WEAR. GREEN VALLEY FORD WANTS HIM TO TAKE TRUCK BACK AS IS. *AK ROTORS, BRAKE SHOES, BRAKE LINING, AND CALIPERS HAVE ALSO BEEN REPLACED WITH NO RESOLUTION. OIL PAN GASET REPLACED DUE TO A LEAK, ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED COOLANT LEAK DUE TO UNSECURED HOSE. VEHICLE FELT UNSAFE WHEN CHANGING LANES, DEALER TIGHTENED UNDER BODY SUSPENSION COMPONENTS, REAR OF TRUCK VIBRATES WHILE DRIVING 60-70 MPH, VEHICLE ALSO WANDERS WHILE DRIVING. AIR LEAKS FROM BOTH DOORS, WEATHER STRIP WARPED, DOOR PILLARS REPLACED, STILL AIR NOISE. FRONT TRANSFER CASE NOISY, TRANSMISSION DOES NOT ALWAYS GO INTO PARK, 4X4 LOW RANGE WOULD NOT ENGAGE, TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK, 4X4 TAKES A WHILE TO DISENGAGE AFTER PRESSING BUTTON, NOISE FROM FORWARD TO REVERSE. SPARE TIRE CARRIER BROKE, WOULD NOT LATCH. HARD TO GET KEY OUT OF IGNITION, DEALER LUBED LOCK CYLINDER. REAR BUMPER LOOSE. MUFFLER NOISY. FRONT HOOD OUT OF ALIGNMENT. HORN AND ALARM INOPERABLE. DRIVER INSIDE LAMP FAILED. *SLC
