I am sending a complaint as I purchased this vehicle brand new from the dealer in June. They have not been able to give me my vehicle because Ford has not come up with a fix on these two recalls. My complaint is how long does Ford have to make this right? They keep extending the recall dates out from a month or so to now 4th quarter. I am paid for a vehicle that I can't use because of Ford's Delay. I am hoping you all as a government agency will give back some feedback and push Ford to fix the issue a bit more timely.
While attempting to back up I was checking my backup camera and it showed that nothing was behind me, as I started to turn while backing up I felt a bump, there was a car right behind me, I couldn’t see it in my mirror and apparently the camera was frozen on my Bronco.
After Avis Ford replaced my seatbelt on the driver’s side, my vehicle began to rattle from underneath the same area and in the front. The seatbelt side was serviced twice, and now the car feels unsafe. The dealership refused to re-inspect and told me to fix it out of pocket. I’m concerned this may be a structural or safety-related defect caused by improper repair.
Hello, I previously wrote about this problem under ID#116588898 however i feel as though it did not explain what happened correctly. As I was backing out of my garage, I stopped my vehicle putting it in park. After putting my vehicle in reverse and looking in my mirrors I didn't see anything behind me. (a blind spot) I was on an angle. My radio was on and as I proceeded in reverse, I hit a car that was in my driveway. There was no damage to my vehicle however there is about $3900 damage to the car behind me where the spare tire crushed the trunk lid and rear left qtr. At no time did I hear any warning lights, the radio did not lower, and warning lights and sounds were not doing the job of what they were supposed to do. As I thought about it, I'm not even sure the camera was on. I hope this explains this a little better than ID# 11658898. Sorry for the inconvenience of reporting this twice. If the other can be deleted that would be appreciated.
Ford has issued a recall for my Bronco but states in the recall that the remedy is anticipated to be available Q3 2025 because parts are not available. We rent our car out on Turo to help offset the payments and now it has been unlisted from Turo because of the recall. I am expected to continue making payments to Ford even though they are stating that it will take 5-8 months for the remedy to be available. This is totally unacceptable on Ford’s part, as they should be able to come up with a remedy and/or parts in a more timely manner. A major corporation like Ford cannot simply issue recalls and then in the same breath say that there is no fix on the horizon for it so the consumer must just deal with it.
While traveling out of town the key fob unpaired from the vehicle while stopped at a gas station. We were locked out of the vehicle and the key fob would not unlock the vehicle. We were able to use the app to unlock the vehicle, but the vehicle would not detect the key. We replaced the batter in the key fob, but the issue persisted. Luckily we used Youtube to find a solution, which is to place the key in the bottom of the center console. The key fob will intermittently unpair from the vehicle. I believe this to be a common problem with Ford vehicles given that we found a solution on Youtube and there are a number of online forums where this issue is discussed. Had we not had the app, we would have been stranded hours from home with no way to access our vehicle.
The rear tailgate latch malfunctioned. When the doors are locked using the key fob or auto door locks the tailgate pops open. When you get up to speeds over 11mph triggering the door auto-locks, the tailgate pops open and swings out.

I customer Ordered 2023 Bronco from Ford in 1/2023. It was delivered on [XXX]. I paid for vehicle in full. Upon getting in Bronco to drive home I noticed a Defective Steering Wheel with bumps all over it. They cut into my fingers. I notified Ford right then on [XXX]. I also noticed Defective knuckle punch on rear tail door of Bronco that holds Spare Tire, etc. I notified Ford. They have wasted a year lying to me by email and telephone messages telling me they are not responsible for these defects. I documented and photographed issues and had Crown Ford in Lynbrook, NY inspect vehicle and photograph issues and send them to Ford Headquarters in Michigan. Ford refuses to made repairs/corrections under a Manufacturer's Warrent or through the Lemon Law, etc. This was a brand New Factory Built and Delivered Ford Bronco. It was never on a showroom floor or test driven. It was ordered, paid, and picked up by me. I have offered to have work done and provide Ford the Receipts but they refuse to do anything to rectify the situation. Since I took delivery of my 2023 Ford Bronco on August 1, 2023 I have not been able to connect to the FordPass (get updates, etc..). Dealer replaced the Gateway Module and has not been able to load software onto the module. The Gateway Module is a "hub" that routes signal to major components of the vehicle (safety, body control, telematics, power train, etc..). Since replacing the Gateway Module, Ford has been unable to get the software to load properly. This issue has manifested itself in not only the Bronco, but the F-150 and Bronco Sport as well. My vehicle has been in dealership for this fix for over 10 weeks. Given this is a critical component to vehicle safety and I have seen on Bronco and F150 forums over 50 cases of this I believe someone needs to question the ability of Ford to service such a critical component of vehicle safety.
Emergency brake failure. I have a very slight slope on my driveway. My car rolled halfway down my driveway. I assumed I did something wrong although I knew I had the car in gear with the E brake on. Two hours later I came back from an errand parked on my driveway was sitting in my car and my car started rolling backwards. The car was off in gear with the E brake on. I videotaped this happening every 20 seconds the car with balance, and roll back an inch or two. After 4 1/2 minutes, the car rolled the rest of the way down my driveway until it hit the street where it was flat. The car was in gear turned off with the E brake on, and nothing stopped the car from rolling. I tried putting it in an out of gear as this was happening and stomping on the break and nothing happened. I tried several times until it came to a complete stop. I have reported this to Ford. They took a complaint they don’t know what to tell me to do. They don’t have any recalls on my vehicle. This happened two times in the day. The second time was much worse. There were children riding bikes in the street behind my vehicle. I don’t know if the safe to drive this vehicle and the dealer is not able to give me any information. Ford customer service is not able to give me any information. I have video of this. I am not able to upload it to this site. I can email it or any other way that you would prefer.
