PIN WHITIN THE STEERING COLUMN BROKE. WHEN PUTTING THE KEY INTO IGNITION, THE IGNITION KEPT GOING AROUND, AND THE CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO TAKE THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION. BUT, ENGINE KEPT RUNNING.
LEFT TIE ROD END FELL APART, SOCKET FROM BALL. EXTREME WEAR FROM LACK OF LUBRICATION. NO LUBE FITTING ENGINEERED INTO PART. TOTAL LOSS OF CAR CONTROL. HOW MANY CARS ARE OUT THERE WITH THIS PROBLEM UNDISCOVERED? DEALER FAILED TO COMPENSATE FOR COST OR REPLACEMENT FOR THIS MIS-ENGINEERED OR MIS-MANUFACTURED PART.
BALL JOINTS & TIE ROD ENDS WOULD MAKE GROANING NOISES IN THE FRONT END. ITS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER & NOTHING FOUND. TOOK TO ANOTHER GARAGE & MECHANIC NOTICED TIE ROD END WAS SHOT, AND THAT BALL JOINTS WERE RUSTY & PITTED. THEREFORE, VEHICLE WAS MAKING NOISES WHEN BEING DRIVEN. *AK
WHEN ATTEMPTING TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF THE KEY WOULD NOT COME OUT OF THE IGNITION DUE TO THE ACTUATOR WITHIN THE STEERING WHICH WENT BAD. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER, DEALER HAS REPLACED THE PARTS ON TWO OCCASIONS PARTS NUMBER F2DZ3E723A AND FODZ3E715A. *AK
WHILE THE KEY IS IN THE IGNITION AND THE VEHICLE IN PARK POSTION AND THE EMERGENCY PARKING BRAKE IS ACTIVATED, HEARD A POPPING NOISE. THE VEHICLE ROLLED OVER, CAUSING MAJOR INJURIES AND LOSS OF THE VEHICLE. CAUSE UNKNOWN. PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS. *AK
